On this day and every day –

God is in Control
. . . and His Grace is Sufficient, so . . .
Keep Looking Up

Hopefully, every Sunday, you can find something here that will build you up a little . . . give you a smile . . . and add some joy or peace, very much needed in all our lives.

“This day is holy to the Lord your God;
do not mourn nor weep.” . . .
“Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet,
and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared;
for this day is holy to our Lord.
Do not sorrow,
for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

What does the Bible mean that
we are not to judge others?

Jesus’ command not to judge others could be the most widely quoted of His sayings, even though it is almost invariably quoted in complete disregard of its context. Here is Jesus’ statement: “Do not judge, or you too will be judged” (Matthew 7:1). Many people use this verse in an attempt to silence their critics, interpreting Jesus’ meaning as “You don’t have the right to tell me I’m wrong.” Taken in isolation, Jesus’ command “Do not judge” does indeed seem to preclude all negative assessments. However, there is much more to the passage than those three words.

The Bible’s command that we not judge others does not mean we cannot show discernment. Immediately after Jesus says, “Do not judge,” He says, “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs” (Matthew 7:6). A little later in the same sermon, He says, “Watch out for false prophets. . . . By their fruit you will recognize them” (verses 15–16). How are we to discern who are the “dogs” and “pigs” and “false prophets” unless we have the ability to make a judgment call on doctrines and deeds? Jesus is giving us permission to tell right from wrong.

Also, the Bible’s command that we not judge others does not mean all actions are equally moral or that truth is relative. The Bible clearly teaches that truth is objective, eternal, and inseparable from God’s character. Anything that contradicts the truth is a lie—but, of course, to call something a “lie” is to pass judgment. To call adultery or murder a sin is likewise to pass judgment—but it’s also to agree with God. When Jesus said not to judge others, He did not mean that no one can identify sin for what it is, based on God’s definition of sin.

And the Bible’s command that we not judge others does not mean there should be no mechanism for dealing with sin. The Bible has a whole book entitled Judges. The judges in the Old Testament were raised up by God Himself (Judges 2:18). The modern judicial system, including its judges, is a necessary part of society. In saying, “Do not judge,” Jesus was not saying, “Anything goes.”

Elsewhere, Jesus gives a direct command to judge: “Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly” (John 7:24). Here we have a clue as to the right type of judgment versus the wrong type. Taking this verse and some others, we can put together a description of the sinful type of judgment:

Superficial judgment is wrong. Passing judgment on someone based on appearances is sinful (John 7:24). It is foolish to jump to conclusions before investigating the facts (Proverbs 18:13). Simon the Pharisee passed judgment on a woman based on her appearance and reputation, but he could not see that the woman had been forgiven; Simon thus drew Jesus’ rebuke for his unrighteous judgment (Luke 7:36–50).

Hypocritical judgment is wrong. Jesus’ command not to judge others in Matthew 7:1 is preceded by comparisons to hypocrites (Matthew 6:2, 5, 16) and followed by a warning against hypocrisy (Matthew 7:3–5). When we point out the sin of others while we ourselves commit the same sin, we condemn ourselves (Romans 2:1).

Harsh, unforgiving judgment is wrong. We are “always to be gentle toward everyone” (Titus 3:2). It is the merciful who will be shown mercy (Matthew 5:7), and, as Jesus warned, “In the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you” (Matthew 7:2).

Self-righteous judgment is wrong. We are called to humility, and “God opposes the proud” (James 4:6). The Pharisee in Jesus’ parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector was confident in his own righteousness and from that proud position judged the publican; however, God sees the heart and refused to forgive the Pharisee’s sin (Luke 18:9–14).

Untrue judgment is wrong. The Bible clearly forbids bearing false witness (Proverbs 19:5). “Slander no one” (Titus 3:2).

Christians are often accused of “judging” or intolerance when they speak out against sin. But opposing sin is not wrong. Holding aloft the standard of righteousness naturally defines unrighteousness and draws the slings and arrows of those who choose sin over godliness. John the Baptist incurred the ire of Herodias when he spoke out against her adultery with Herod (Mark 6:18–19). She eventually silenced John, but she could not silence the truth (Isaiah 40:8).

Believers are warned against judging others unfairly or unrighteously, but Jesus commends “right judgment” (John 7:24, ESV). We are to be discerning (Colossians 1:9; 1 Thessalonians 5:21). We are to preach the whole counsel of God, including the Bible’s teaching on sin (Acts 20:27; 2 Timothy 4:2). We are to gently confront erring brothers or sisters in Christ (Galatians 6:1). We are to practice church discipline (Matthew 18:15–17). We are to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15).

  1. It’s quite a letdown switching gears to “Judge Not”.

Several times during T3’s absolutely great blow-by-blow of the Prayer March on the Mall, I felt like I was riding the crest of a smooth, soft wave with Peace and Quiet Joy riding with me.

It’s a feeling I want to hold on to, especially as these next few weeks pass when the ugly realities of the Swamp Things rudely intrude on my consciousness.

. . . and there lies the difference and importance of keeping my thoughts focused on things above in spite of the turmoil swirling around.

When peace, like a river, flows softly my way,
    When troubles like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, it is true when I say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

    1. I thought this was very timely – perfect for the nomination of a new judge! 😀

I’ve always felt that “Judge not, lest ye be judged” is a CHALLENGE to us – that to judge, we must know that we are subject to judgement – that we had best judge ourselves FIRST and strongly and truly before we DARE to judge. I have found this to be an extremely powerful tool. When I know how I lie – even to myself – I know how we all lie. When I know how I did NOT lie, I know how to be courageous in truth, and how to help others to be likewise.

Judgment is good, if done in truth and godliness.

And, if Q means something special by it, “judgement” is good, too!!! ❤

      1. Wolfs, I thought this Codevilla essay resonates with Carl’s take on our duty to judge rightly.

We’re the Deplorables and they are the Democrats. We Treepers agree that a whole new generation of Deplorable leaders must replace elected and non-elected Republicans in positions of power – or we will not be represented and defended on any stage or level of society. Lacking new true leaders, 8 years of President Trump will likely not defeat the rulers of America and their Democrat party.

Andrew Codevilla published a new essay on 9-23-2020 in ‘The American Mind’ by the Claremont Institute. It is titled “Revolution 2020”. The essay explains how Americanism began in the Colonies and developed in the United States, and has been supplanted by Revolutionary Progressivism with complications from Intersectionality. The triumph of globally-connected elites over yesteryear’s Americans is almost complete. Regardless of which side wins the presidency, the next years will include wide violence that could grow into civil war.

The way it used to be is gone and past ‘conserving’ by ‘conservatives’. The opponents’ inner views on behavior in society have no common ground. Codevilla suggested that Deplorables could be protected by election of leaders and even champions in charge of state and local government.

Citizens are moving out of the worst cities and states into relatively safer-for-now red states. Things being equal, these ‘safer’ places will be on the losing side eventually. It seems to me that our local mask-wearing Progressives (in charge of the power levers of education, medicine, business – all layers of regulation) must be persuaded to emigrate out and away from us. Being respectful of their differentness will not cause them to go and leave behind their power over us.

I am done with being quiet when the consequence is ever more evil. MAGA.

        1. I think it’s very clear that American progressivism has been doing here exactly what it did to Russia and Germany – bringing chaos and societal destruction. I think TRUMP sees the correct path out and it requires the same level of assertiveness and defense of nationhood and independence as 1776, 1861 and 1941.

In all cases there were foreign and domestic aspects, just as now. Those who fight for America and FREEDOM win. It’s just a matter of how we do it.

      2. Dear Carl and Wolf: I’ve long claimed that this is the devil’s favorite scripture which he uses against the Truth. We had some elderly pastor friends who said that we are “fruit inspectors”. Matthew 7:18 says that “ a good tree cannot bear bad fruit and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.”

    1. Amen!

I was very happy that our beloved VSG chose not to flinch, and to go with ACB, who he has mentioned many times before.

I want to share a thought I had earlier. You will appreciate this, because you don’t waver on doctrinal things like I do so often.

I was working hard – manual labor – thinking about ACB vs. BBL (Barbara Lagoa). All the “realists” had been talking up BBL on Twitter and elsewhere – saying Trump should go with BBL because she’s less “risky because on her religion”, because she’ll help in Florida, because she’ll increase suburban women, because this, because that, etc., etc.

I didn’t like that answer. It bugged me. And I thought about Trump. Should he retreat on ACB?

But then I thought to myself – you know what? That’s just that same old “battered conservative” thinking – that retreat with the argument of expediency. This is TRUMP. Does he wither under fire? Or does he CHANGE THE LANDSCAPE? Does he DO THE IMPOSSIBLE?

And then I asked myself – what would GOD want?

And then it just struck me – WHO is going to stand up for the three Hispanic BABY GIRLS who would otherwise be aborted, but who would become judges if Trump nominates ACB NOW, rather than later?

We KNOW what God would want. How can we back away from that?

A meme popped into my head, which I never made, but what it said was:

“We love Notorious BBL, but three future Supreme Court Justices need Notorious ACB *NOW*!”

And that is when I decided that I was going to openly pull for ACB, and made my meme:

      1. And thus, one more thing. I think it’s very good to “raise the thought” that BARBARA LAGOA is now IN THE BULLPEN!!!

The reason I am becoming a convert to her is that she worked to try to save Elian Gonzalez – meaning standing up to ERIC HOLDER against CUBAN COMMUNISM.

            1. I’d like Clarence Thomas to take a year’s victory lap as Chief Justice in 2021-22. He could retire after that. Then the other team would be only three; Kagan, Sotomayor, and Breyer. Not much firepower there. The new Chief Justice after Thomas? Maybe Alito, maybe Kavenaugh or Barrett.

              1. That would be great, but . . . and there always seems to be a “but” with good ideas . . . how do we get Roberts out of that position?

        2. Except that Elian legally had to be turned over to his father (the only person who had a right of custody). Which is the one right thing Bill Clinton did.

If we had kept him, it would have been human trafficking. Kidnapping pure and simple. And a violation of the Hague Convention on Child Custody.

      I’ll bet it’s heavy, though.
But you can take a rig like that up into places where you can’t drag a trailer or drive an RV.

      1. Seriously, this is great – this guy is just dropping truth bombs.

NOW – I think I know how the DEMONCRATS are going to attack her – by RELIGIOUS DIVISION – and we can STOP THAT COLD.

In my opinion, Amy’s family looks a lot like STRONG BIG families in other religions and denominations of Christianity. When they try to paint her into a corner, they do it to isolate her. So if they attack her on her religion…. if they try to marginalize her…. DO – NOT – FALL FOR IT!

We come together and make the WHEATIE WHACKER!!!

All people who value faith and family – whatever that is – need to realize that when they attack her, they attack us, too.

When the PEOPLE rally together – not by force or deception but by common cause and TRUTH – we are strong in unity!

This lady is how we defend our families! Defend her to defend American families – against SOCIALISM.

Who were the first people to attack her family? That Tweet I posted earlier – a BLM Marxist and a notorious *ACTUAL* neo-Nazi white supremacist!

The MIDDLE is going to tell the extremes to LAY OFF OUR FAMILIES – to LAY OFF OUR SUBURBS – to LAY OFF PERIOD.

        1. Yes yes!

E PLURIBUS UNUM = “Out of many, one” in Latin.

It also can be translated, “One from many”.

Our Founders took that as our motto, to signify…Out of many states, one nation.

That is also why they used the ancient symbol of the ‘fasces’ or bundle-of-rods — because it was used in ancient times to mean “In Unity, Strength”.

The ancients added a battle axe to the bundle-of-rods to signify…”Unity in Battle”.

For thousands of years, the fasces was considered a Good Symbol…a symbol of Voluntary Unity.
That is why our founders adopted it.

Then in the 20th century, Socialists turned it into something nasty!

Mussolini turned it into a symbol of ‘forced unity’.
He used it as the symbol for his Fascist Party…to force unity on his country, to force his people to accept socialism.

This is why ‘fascism’ came to mean “The forcible suppression of any opposition.”

We should take back the innocent little bundle-of-rods, as a symbol for something good!

Or at least educate people on the history of it.

Because the evil puppet-masters behind Antifa, are using that symbol against us!
They point to the existence of that bundle-of-rods symbol on our buildings, our architecture and our coinage –> and declare that “the US is a fascist nation!”

          That is a Lie!

We were using the ‘fasces’ long before the socialists sullied it for their own evil purposes.

But because the Left has not been teaching the true History of our Country…the younglings believe their lies!

          It really pisses me off.

        2. The way I intend to defend Amy is to defend religious freedom.

          And that means ANY RELIGION.

If I am arguing with a leftist who is a Pagan, I will argue that if Catholicism can be attacked, so then could their faith.

Same with a Jewish person, a Mormon, a Buddhist, or an atheist (yep, atheist, because lack of faith is still a “religious” belief).

Our forefathers risked EVERYTHING, crossed an ocean, braved a completely unfamiliar environment, and suffered and died for the freedom of religion. That was the ORIGINAL reason why most people came to America. Not to be free of taxes, and to have representational government. All of that came later. The Puritans, Quakers, Dunker Baptists, and others just wanted to worship their God in peace.

If we lose that, we have lost the reason America was settled in the first place. Freedom for ALL faiths, no matter how “crazy” they seem to others (lemme tell you, when you get deep into the Dunkers, my ancestors, there is some crazy-sounding stuff).

I will argue vociferously with anyone attacking her on religion. That is our original American freedom, and MUST NOT be tampered with.

          1. There is a difference in the freedom of worship and the freedom of practices and traditions that violate civil rights and human rights by certain religions.

For example Satanism’s and other religions human sacrifice or Islam’s practices of subjugation of women, barbaric punishments, etc.

Then there are other ‘belief systems’ such as abortionism and all the LBGTQXYZ, sexual agenda/orientation/gender theory/transgender stuff that violate certain societal norms, messes up women’s sports, seek to indoctrinate, prey upon and exploit children’s minds and bodies.

Children have a right to grow up free of exploitation and predation….even by mentally ill parents who decide to change their child’s ‘gender’!!!!

We must keep human rights and Constitutional rights separate and supreme over fads, theories, agendas and nefarious influences.

              1. That whole thing is mind-blowing, but beautiful.

What’s funny is that many of Einstein’s contemporaries instantly saw more deeply than he did, or at least “differently and more deeply” (more ironic analogy to space and time) into the whole weirdness of space and time and their relationship which doesn’t exactly pin down well between tied difference and broken sameness. This was actually part of the “adoption”, really – when people saw that their own tangents and interpretations started solving their own problems, special relativity was pretty much a done deal. The fight for general then ensued – even weirder and yet ultimately beautiful.

Note that THIS is how science is really settled – popular enthusiastic adoption by scientists, without haranguing the dissenters using the media.

One of the coolest lines written in history of science that I ever read was about Alan Turing’s thoughts on Einstein and general relativity. He pretty much says (can’t find the exact quote right now) “Oh, yeah, it’s just this [key idea].” LOL! I’m like – “OK next time I try to *actually* understand it, I’ll try THAT!”

          2. OH, this is an EXCEPTIONALLY good defense!

One of my “paths back in time” through my parents – the DAR path – leads through some AMAZING history. The Civil War – the founding of Texas (DRT) – Indian Removal – Revolutionary war (DAR) – and arrival in the colonies to escape religious persecution in Europe – BY CATHOLIC ROYALTY! So yes – I think the idea of a descendant of those people coming to the aid of a Catholic to defend freedom of religion in America is quite in keeping with WHY ALL OUR ANCESTORS CAME HERE!!!

Flynn is right! Where ELSE are we going to go?

LOL. If the Dems were smart, they’d confirm this woman quickly and get back to their coronavirus scheming and plotting, but as Q says, these people are stupid! 1. Umm, boss…honestly, Catholicism was tolerated by the Founders of this nation moreso than welcomed in. An honest reading of history will tell you that.

It’s still derided by Americans of all stripes, actually. And most of the time, it’s not really the Faith that is being attacked, but what someone told others what it is. You know, gaslighting, essentially.

        1. What, that Taylor Marshall converted to Catholicism and promptly forgot most of the Sermon on the Mount? Or that he actually advocates attending SSPX chapels even though they are officially in Schism still, and if Francis is not really pope any gap bridging is illicit?

I hate to tell people this, but the number of kids one has is not always a measure of how Catholic a family is, and that’s essentially what Marshall and a couple other of the trads tout on a regular basis. I know a family who had six and all but one fell away. My mom is an only child which not on purpose, I understand. One of the most holy priests I’ve ever known is an only child. Having a large family is a measure of following Church teaching on ONE subject. Just one. And sometimes the smaller families are God’s idea, not the parents’.

Show me the rest. Show me contributing regularly to the food pantry, and volunteering in all sorts of capacities. Show me where this guy is a pall bearer for strangers. My grandpa did that all the time. Show me the dying to self for any one reason, although in this case he most likely does for his family.

The left is going to FIRST try to leverage factionalism INSIDE CATHOLICISM to take down ACB.

This explains why Bill Maher is being rolled out to attack “crazy” first. Oh, they’re smart. Aubergine is right – and the first stick in the bundle that needs binding for strength is Catholicism itself!!!

              1. I hear you. But we’re all going to have to demonstrate what we’re defending, if we’re gonna pull this off.

Trump picks his battles well. This is rather amazing.

The only way the Dems have to stop her is to make her withdraw, or murder another judge and cheat to a win of the White House. I know that’s a cold shocker to state publicly, but these are extraordinary times in defense of the founding principles.

What would make Amy withdraw? Whatever it is, it will be LIES that the media creates, or tries to force into her lips.

ACB has to be strong in defending her practice, and her rights and freedoms to do so, JUST LIKE ANY OF US.

The big schisms will be the easiest to join to strength, weirdly. But they want this to be a fight between us. It is STRAIGHT out of the modern satanic principles.

              2. I don’t judge anyone’s religion, outside of radical Islam. If your religion tells you to kill people who don’t follow it, that’s a problem.

And that is what I am trying to get at. We all need to defend RELIGION,” not Catholicism, Protestantism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Mormonism, Islam, Paganism, atheism, or any other SPECIFIC religion. The right of ALL Americans to practice the religion of THEIR choice, and not have that be a test of their ability to be a Justice, a President, a Congress-critter, or anything else.

                This is how we WIN.

        1. This is so true.

It may have been scrubbed by now, I dunno.

But Biden was horrible to Justice Thomas.

The Dems were trying to get Thomas to withdraw…because they didn’t want to go on record as having voted against a black man.

For many left-wing feminists, ACB’s nomination is personal. She embodies the rebuttal to the feminist lies they’ve built their life on: that in order to be accomplished and fulfilled, you must sacrifice faith, marriage and children. It’s gotta be hard to watch.

    1. That’s just it. Women were sold a bill of goods by “feminists” whose message was funded by communists and globalists to get us to give up our natural places in society. Some fell for it harder than others. And there never was an acknowledgement that not every woman is suited for any one place in life.

Just like we are supposed to be lemmings or something.

  3. I’ve already expressed my admiration for the Gowachin Courtarena as described in Frank Herbert’s “The Dosadi Experiment”. The concept that everything will come out and justice will be done in one forum is very attractive — if it’s a false prosecution, you can spear the prosecutor during a proceeding — so long as you strictly follow the rules. Judges may be openly biased, but prejudgment will lead to immediate removal…..normally though death.

If the process is to be the punishment, then the Courtarena is the obvious corollary — everyone who participates plays under the same rules.

Looking at * , I’m struck by how much it looks like their daughter in purple will follow her father’s career path, while the young gentleman in the blue jacket and blue tie will follow his mom’s. That’s the way things go in families — some kids “gel” into the family business while others find their own way.

It is just a Supremely lovely family.

  6. I’m seeing Amy Coney Barrett’s initials used a lot. ACB. That reminds me of Elvis’s use of TCB, which means “Taking Care of Business”.

Elvis used the TCB logo on many of the things he owned. One example is the plane he owned.

I’m trying to think of a way to combine the two. Best I can can come up with is adding an a letter to make it ATCB. – Amy Taking Care of Business.

  7. Thank you, Carl, for another uplifting and inspirational Sanctuary Sunday Open Thread.
    Nicely done.

The Left has been trying to vilify the idea of ‘being judgemental’.
They use the Bible quote of “Judge not…” to bolster their demand that we not be ‘judgemental’.

    I’ve never bought into it.

For one thing…who made the Left the judge of what constitutes ‘being judgemental’?
Doesn’t that require making a judgement?

And another thing…which things are we allowed to make judgements about?
I mean, we make little judgements about things all day long, like ‘which road to take’ or ‘what to wear today’.

So it seems to me that the Left is just trying get away with whatever they want to do, by reviling and vilifying the practice of making judgements.

Protestors sue Seattle, Washington state over treatment during demonstrations

    …………..From the article:

SEATTLE – Dozens of protesters are in the process of suing the City of Seattle and the state over police treatment during Black Lives Matter demonstrations.

Attorneys for 10 protesters filed a lawsuit Friday alleging wrongful death, personal injuries and civil rights violations. Attorneys also said about 40 more protesters are expected to join the suit after going through the legal claim process.

At Jimi Hendrix park Friday, protesters detailed their allegations to the press, saying police shoved, hit and used crowd-control weapons against them.[…]

Seattle Police Department has said in the past they need the crowd-control weapons to properly respond to large groups of protesters when things turn violent, which has happened several times this summer.

But some of the protesters in the lawsuit have said they were acting peaceful when met with force following dispersal orders. […]

In addition to claiming excessive force, attorneys allege authorities failed to protect and preserve protesters’ right to assemble, leading to the wrongful death claim.

………………More at the link. [emphasis mine]

The “wrongful death” happened when one of the rioters got run over by a car that they were attacking…when they were stopping traffic on the interstate. (!!)

The rioters are suing the city and the state…for not protecting them…while they were smashing and burning and looting.
Oh, and also beating people up.

The Universal Exaltation of the Precious and Life-giving Cross, or the Feast of the Elevation of the Cross

On this day are commemorated two events connected with the Precious Cross of Christ: the first, the finding of the Cross on Golgotha by Saint Helena the Empress and the second the returning of the Cross to Jerusalem from Persia.

Today is September 14th on the Patristic Calendar of the Orthodox Christian Church and September 27th on the civil calendar.

The full accounting of these two events is awe-inspiring and this day in honor of the Cross is a day of fasting for traditional Orthodox.

A third event is commemorated today from the year 1925 when the Cross of Christ appeared in the sky above the vicinity of Athens. This was during the persecution by the “State Church” and civil authorities against the Orthodox Christians who rejected the uncanonical calendar change in 1924.

    Troparion / Dismissal Hymn

“Save, O Lord, Thy people, and bless Thine inheritance; grant Thou unto the faithful victory over adversaries. And by the power of Thy Cross do Thou preserve Thy commonwealth.”

“O Thou Who wast lifted up willingly on the Cross, bestow Thy mercies upon the New Nation called after Thee, Christ God; gladden with Thy power our faithful hierarchs, granting them victory over all heresy. May they have as Thy help in war the Weapon of peace, the invicible Trophy.”

Hopefully this will upload. Pilgrims singing the hymn at the location of the Finding of the Precious and Life-giving Cross in Jerusalem in the Church of the Resurrection.

“Lord, I will follow Thee whithersoever Thou goest.” Luke ix. 57

Our Lord’s attitude to this man is one of severe discouragement because He knew what was in man. We would have said – “Fancy losing the opportunity of winning that man!” Fancy bringing about him a north wind that froze him and “turned him away discouraged!” Never apologize for your Lord. The words of the Lord hurt and offend until there is nothing left to hurt or offend. Jesus Christ has no tenderness whatever toward anything that is ultimately going to ruin a man in the service of our God. Our Lord’s answers are based not on caprice, but on a knowledge of what is in man. If the Spirit of God brings to your mind a word of the Lord that hurts you, you may be sure that there is something He want to hurt to death.

    v. 58. These words knock the heart out of serving Jesus Christ because it is pleasing to me. The rigour of rejection leaves nothing but my Lord, and myself, and a forlorn hope. “Let the hundredfold come or go, your lodestar must be your relationship to Me, and I have nowhere to lay My head.”

    v. 59. This man did not want to disappoint Jesus, nor to hurt his father. We put sensitive loyalty to relatives in place of loyalty to Jesus Christ and Jesus has to take the last place. In a conflict of loyalty, obey Jesus Christ at all costs.

    v. 61. The one who says – “Yes, Lord, but…” is the one who is fiercely ready, but never goes. This man had one or two reservations. The exacting call of Jesus Christ has no margin of good-byes, because good-bye, as it is often used, is pagan, not Christian. When once the call of God comes, begin to go and never stop going.

    1. Dust bin of lessons learned.

      38 days away.

Masks will go away, just as D-Rats insisting on the need to mass mail voting is going away.

Covid is being shown to be the farce it is. Pfizer, or one of the pharmas big shots destroyed the second wave narrative…highlighting massive false positives.

No real Covid threat, debunks any calls for folks to be vaccinated.

It’ll all go away after 3 November.
THEN, we gotta push back against recurring mask hype when flu arrives. The entire mask thing has been stoopid to the point of embarrassing…

Anything short of “normal” IS UNACCEPTABLE.

      Liked by 13 people

      1. If you travel in Asian countries, you see a small percentages of citizens of all ages wearing masks in crowded situations, public transportation (which is VERY crowded!) being the most common, especially during the typical cold/flu season.
In years past, I occasionally saw people in various places here wearing a mask…usually it was fairly obvious they were undergoing some sort of medical treatment and had suppressed immune system. But, it has never been a common occurrence. I think that might change and we will become more like Asian countries in that regard.
I foresee it happening here…some will feel the need to wear a mask for their own health situation, whether it indeed helps or hinders. People will be reluctant to give up the emotional crutch.
My personal opinion…wear a mask every day of your life or stay inside in your home indefinitely, if that is how you want to exist….but do not expect it of everyone else. Some of us choose to LIVE, not exist!

        1. Yes. Have lived in Japan eight years, Singapore three years and Philippines four years.

Philippines, occasional mask in Manila. None in the Provinces. Singapore, some. Certainly not common.

Japan, fairly common as you say in crowded situations or apparent individuals medical conditions. Purely a personal decision. As it should be.

America. Masks are not gonna take hold. The “coolness” or “gee golly I am being careful and considerate” by wearing a mask will fade quickly, IMO.

So long as the mask standard is “no standard” short of covering the nose and mouth with something, anything, masks remain stoopid, IMO.

The number 33 means a lot of different things to a lot of different people…what are the chance that they chose that specific number randomly?

    Liked by 10 people

      1. Two possibilities. One is that it’s just disinformation – somebody just culled daily number announcements on stations which do that, and got all the “33” cases.

Second possibility is that it’s PLAYBOOK CODE between Dem governors and their COVID cronies.

        Liked by 1 person

    1. It may be CODE of some kind, for coordination of Democrat governors on COVID19. They likely have a PLAYBOOK that they received at the beginning of the plot, and they could be confirming receipt of orders to go to, e.g., step 33.

And then he set fire to Wray and the FiB for stonewalling on subpoenaed documents. He held up 2 copies of same document side by side. One copy obtained from a different dept. only had an agent’s phone number redacted. Same doc from FiB, entire contents blacked out. None of the content was classified, it was embarrassing to the Agency. He’s Pizzled!!

          1. No need to vet – already done – so all they have to do is VOTE – why do I think PT planned it this way – he knew they would wait until the last minute before the election – I also wonder what would have happened to the Supreme Court decisions in this past year if RBG actually did die in 2019 as was announced and withdrawn – no wonder there is PANIC in DC!

            Liked by 1 person

            1. If RBG actually died in 2019 and SCOTUS has been hiding that since then, we’ve got much, MUCH bigger problems than how quickly justice is or isn’t being served.

The thinking may be that the courts need to be “open” in order for all the vote-faking lawsuits, etc., to be processed in due time (indeed, in record time).

And, as always, there need to be airtight cases (no double-jeopardy), prosecutions, etc., need (usually) to fall in sequence, and the cases in question need to end up in the appropriate venues (yep, friendly, honest venues)…..

              1. Agree, Cuppa! I am thinking of the post election challenge, too – why it is so important to seat ACB ASAP!

I do not know what is up with Roberts – but, he will have less power when ACB is seated – I wonder, too, how many cases can be overturned that were secretly passed – the whole thing with RBG stinks – same thing with GHWB – how long was he dead before the funeral – call me crazy – but, these people are ruthless – so I would not put it past them to delay announcing and/or putting them to rest – no name died too quickly after refusing any more chemo treatments – so maybe, that, too, was a ploy.

I know I sound nutty – but, these people are evil – and they would stop at nothing to stay in power – plus – how many times, in history, have they lied to us about what really happened?
