Dear KAG: 20200813 Open Thread

Quick author note: many thanks to our host, Wolfm00n, for covering in emergency circumstances. My neck of the woods was sans electricity (we say “power” in these parts, Coothie) about 38 hours following a tree branch falling on the 220 line (it took four splices to put it back together). At this time, the ice maker is productive, and the dogs are no longer panting for being way too hot in the middle of the night. Here’s to a decent night’s sleep…last night I was longing for an old fashioned sleeping porch.

Look out, y’all. I found a new Youtube parody channel:

More of this patriot’s work appears at the bottom of this post. In the meantime…..

All this isolation and idle hands is just inviting…well, this:

Yeah, the virus is smaller than anything coming out of an aerosol can. Some of us actually did pass physics a long time ago. Really, this guy just wanted to play with fire.

Anyway, here is the anti-COVID 19 narrative sing along song.

Bop, bop, bop

Feel free to hold hands, and touch. But, please, wash them afterwards.

As usual, this is the daily thread, the place to put all information that needs to be out there – Q drops, Q drop decodes, riot information, rumors about MAGA rallies starting up again, news flashes, Chy-na flu updates, fashionable mask photos, satire, memes, and of course cute animal videos.

In the meantime, the short and sweet version of “THE RULES” is here borrowed from Tuesday:

Guidelines for posting and discussion on this site were outlined by our host, WolfM00n. Please, review them from time to time.

The discourse on this site is to be CIVIL – no name calling, baiting, or threatening others here is allowed. Those who are so inclined may visit Wolf’s other sanctuary, the U-Tree, to slog it out.

This site is a celebration of the natural rights endowed to humans by our Creator as well as those enshrined in the Bill of Rights adopted in the founding documents of the United States of America. Within the limits of law, how we exercise these rights is part of the freedom of our discussion.

Fellow tree dweller Wheatie gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

Since it is almost the weekend, the reminders are in place to not swing from the chandeliers, wash your hands and face, and be nice to the liberals whether they deserve it or not. Making your bed, OTOH, is optional.

From Psalm 78 (77 in the Douay-Rheims)

[52] And he took away his own people as sheep: and guided them in the wilderness like a flock. [53] And he brought them out in hope, and they feared not: and the sea overwhelmed their enemies. [54] And he brought them into the mountain of his sanctuary: the mountain which his right hand had purchased. And he cast out the Gentiles before them: and by lot divided to them their land by a line of distribution. [55] And he made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tabernacles.

[56] Yet they tempted, and provoked the most high God: and they kept not his testimonies. [57] And they turned away, and kept not the covenant: even like their fathers they were turned aside as a crooked bow. [58] They provoked him to anger on their hills: and moved him to jealousy with their graven things. [59] God heard, and despised them, and he reduced Israel exceedingly as it were to nothing. [60] And he put away the tabernacle of Silo, his tabernacle where he dwelt among men.

[61] And he delivered their strength into captivity: and their beauty into the hands of the enemy. [62] And he shut up his people under the sword: and he despised his inheritance. [63] Fire consumed their young men: and their maidens were not lamented. [64] Their priests fell by the sword: and their widows did not mourn. [65] And the Lord was awaked as one out of sleep, and like a mighty man that hath been surfeited with wine.

[66] And he smote his enemies on the hinder parts: he put them to an everlasting reproach. [67] And he rejected the tabernacle of Joseph: and chose not the tribe of Ephraim: [68] But he chose the tribe of Juda, mount Sion which he loved. [69] And he built his sanctuary as of unicorns, in the land which he founded for ever. [70] And he chose his servant David, and took him from the flocks of sheep: he brought him from following the ewes great with young,

  1. Perhaps I have missed a lot recently and for that I apologize.

I have tried to find Praying Medic twitter and the message is that the account doesn’t exist.

I am still praying for Angel…..any updates.

And, I don’t understand the SD stuff. I have not had the patience to read much there but what I read here about it all makes me wish he would just put up or shut up. I guess by tomorrow we will know if it has all just been hype or if theres anything of substance there.

If it is just to show that the President’s administration is simply a group of ineffective bureaucrats covering for the system I question whether his aim is to help the President or destroy Q, and demoralize the energized group of digital soldiers making such a difference in the lives of so many as they uncover and reveal the truth to make America great again and support the President.

    1. I am in periodic communication w/ Angelle & he is still in need of prayer. He has been struggling with health & computer challenges. He is carrying a heavy burden of prayer for a number of people, including my son Josiah. He is also dealing with a weight of grief, especially since the sudden passing of his dear friend Lloyd Marcus…Please keep lifting him in prayer as the Lord leads!

        1. I am sure that is why they CHEATED like crazy to get a DemonRat in as gov in North Carolina.

Most of the ‘late ballots’ ONLY had Cooper & Hitlery checked so we got a Republican as LT gov.

Remember 20 out of 100 counties had MORE votes than adults living in the county AND COOPER WAS ATTORNEY GENERAL for the state!

          1. I’ll tell you what, I’m POSITIVE what we are going through now is why Eric Greitens was run out of the governor’s mansion here in MO. He never would have gone along with it. Mike Parsons is a machine Republican. They had to have someone who would co-operate. Probably the same with Steve Stenger, the STL County executive who had a scandal revealed. His predecessor had several we knew about which were never publicized.

        1. AGREED. I think that is what Trump is, and HAS done every time, he highlights something on Twitter, that he KNOWS will spark a “reaction” from the left. and they HAPPILY, yet STUPIDLY, give it credence in trying to BASJH him for it. These people are STUPID, and it is THEY who let emotion and EGO cloud their JUDGEMENT. Trump is LOGICAL, and he uses PSYCHOLOGY, just like Tsun Tzu wrote.

^^^ NV data keepers are not very user friendly. Guess they feel a need to maintain high anxiety.

    3. Hi I hope you saw my reply on the other comment about Angelle, etc. I hear from him periodically & he’s now been communicating with my husband & they are encouraging each other in the Lord.

Angelle has been very depleted from physical challenges, computer problems, spiritual battles, & grief (like over the recent loss of his beloved friend Lloyd Marcus). He’s got a few people he’s doing diligent spiritual warfare for, one of them is my son Josiah. Angelle still needs prayer cover for all he’s wrestling with.

Thanks for asking about him. I’ll copy your comment in an email to him to let him know of your interest. Blessings!

We can thank the Supreme Court. Corporations are NOT PEOPLE and should BUTT OUT of elections. Original US law was very very anti-corporation and severely limited them in duration and activity.

          First National Bank of Boston v. Bellotti, 435 U.S. 765 (1978)
Significance: States cannot prohibit corporations from contributing money to ballot proposals.

          Austin v. Michigan Chamber of Commerce, 494 U.S. 652 (1990)
Significance: Corporations must keep a separate account from which they can make political contributions, usually by establishing a PAC.

          Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, 558 U.S. 310 (2010)
Significance: States cannot place limits on the amount of money corporations, unions, or PACs use for electioneering communications, as long as the group does not directly align itself with a candidate.

President Trump on Thursday said he hopes U.S. Attorney John Durham, who is investigating the origins of the Russia probe, is “not going to be politically correct” and warned that Attorney General William Barr could go down as “the greatest attorney general” or just “an average guy” — depending on what comes out of the months long probe.

POTUS needed to get the Marxist ground troops neutralized FIRST and the DemonRats played right into his hands with these riots.

        Also THINK:
POTUS kicked out the the Chinese Consulate in Houston TX. Houston is located on the Gulf of Mexico, 351 miles from Laredo, TX on the Mexican with a nice interstate (I 69) connecting them. ( Houston is also on the drug trafficking highway I 10 between CA and FL)

        A couple of news stories:

Texas Border Landowners Elevate Battle Over Trump Administration Wall

Despite stiff opposition from landowners and community groups, and a U.S. Dept of Homeland Security Inspector General report that questions building a U.S.-Mexico barrier through the close border city of Laredo, Texas, the Customs and Border Protection agency has awarded a second wall construction contract there…..

Observers counter that Laredo has no problem with illegal activity except at four river bridges that are ports of entry and will not be blocked by the barrier. Border patrol agency (CBP) officials “plan to build a wall along the entire riverfront of Laredo including a 150-ft. security enforcement zone. It will be a profound loss,” says Tricia Cortez, executive director of the Rio Grande International Study Center….

July 24, 2020 US officials seize control of Chinese Consulate in Houston

Officials believed to be with the U.S. State Department kicked open a door leading into the Chinese Consulate in Houston.

A van loaded with federal agents pried open the backdoor to the consulate after failing to gain entry through three different doorways a little over an hour after officials with the Chinese government left the complex Friday afternoon.

It was a busy day at the consulate as anti-communist protesters heckled a group of workers who emptied the contents of the consulate building into a moving van before leaving….

Trump Announces “Historic Peace Agreement” Between Israel and the United Arab Emirates; Agreement Includes Full Normalization of Relations

This puts a bullet in the head of the Arab embargo against Israel. Sure, the UAE and Saudi Arabia have been cooperating (a lot!) with Israel for years, but that was covert. An open secret, to be sure, but not acknowledged officially.

With this peace agreement, the UAE officially recognizes Israel and promises to “fully normalize” all relations — including economic relations. Including direct flights to Israel.

      Good news.

  11. Well, I had quite a surprise a few minutes ago….saw a post on OT under the name Teagan…but it wasn’t mine.
I thought our WordPress names were unique to us. How can this happen and I’m open to suggestions about how I should follow up. It makes me uneasy to discover posts under my name….one that I’ve had for more than a dozen years.

    1. names are not unique.
Anyone can type in the same name.
It goes by email addesses – each email address is unique and the name/email used and approved have to match or the user is considered new

      1. All I can tell you in the past that I’ve gotten responses telling me that name was taken, so I assumed it was indeed protected. Otherwise, people could be doing a lot of damage using your name…so that doesn’t make sense.

        1. When I signed up for Word Press recently my user name had to be unique, and it wouldn’t let me use “TheseTruths.” But I was able to choose it as my public display name. Looks as if someone has chosen “Teagan” as their public display name, or they are typing in the name every time.

        2. One of the advantages of a WordPress account is OBVIOUS UNIQUENESS. One of the disadvantages of uniqueness is loss of anonymity, but you never really had it, because your metadata is enough to uniquely identify you.

I suggest picking a new unique “Teagan” as a WP account and becoming ThatTeagan, so to speak! 😉

            1. I do not and never have had an actual wordpress account.

I (and anyone else) just type my email/name in the boxes below the comment box each time I comment. I can type type any email and any name, used before or not. the name/email combo has to be the same as has been prior approved combo. If either are new then I am considered a “new” “person” even if the screen name is the same. I can do a new email and same screen name and visa versa.

I have used the same screen name and a different email at OT by accident. that why avatar changed several years ago there – typo in the email address. We own a domain some typos in the correct spot are actually irrelevant and all emails still come through. Same screen name/different email … I was approved and then liked the new picture/cartoon so just kept using the new/accidnetal combo

If you have a WordPress account, THAT USERNAME will be unique, and THAT is how you can claim to be “you”. I am wolfmoon1776 on WordPress. There is no other. One of the ADVANTAGES of having a WordPress account.

The auto-generated “symbol” next to your name “Teagan” will not be the same as the other “Teagan”. But if you have an account, you can use your own image. Like I do.

    The Morning Report – 8/13/20
    —J.J. Sefton

    DNC to AOC:
    “Talk to the Little Hand”

“Good morning, kids. Thursday and the lead story continues to be the fallout over the Kamala Harris pick to be Joe Biden’s VP, or replacement pre- or post-Election Day (G-d forbid the latter). Fallout being the operative word as it went over like a lead balloon. While nobody with even half of Joe Biden’s functioning brain stem is fooled by the transparently fraud hype of her being some sort of political “moderate,” the Sandersnistas in the party are still less than thrilled. Briahna Joy Gray, former national press secretary for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), vented her spleen with this Tweet:

We are in the midst of the largest protest movement in American history, the subject of which is excessive policing, and the Democratic Party chose a “top cop” and the author of the Joe Biden crime bill to save us from Trump.

The contempt for the base is, wow.

Emphasis mine. That said, her words stand in rather stark contrast with the farshimmelt old commie bastard she works for, who Tweeted:

Congratulations to @KamalaHarris, who will make history as our next Vice President. She understands what it takes to stand up for working people, fight for health care for all, and take down the most corrupt administration in history. Let’s get to work and win.

Hmm. Trouble in Worker’s Paradise? I’d say so. Thanks in no small part to the agitprop media (especially Twitter), the monster that the Left created – brainwashed youth and a fair number of older folks who lack common sense or knowledge of the machinations of American politics – has been duped into thinking, that a) we are on the verge of a “reich-wing OrangemanBad fascist coup!” and b) that their views represent the majority of Americans. Even a hardcore Stalinist like this Pramila Jayapal is openly insulting the pedophile in the semi-persistent vegetative state in order to try and placate the base:

      1. GOOD!

You do not want them to NOT fear humans. Normally they are ‘shy.’ They have also been known to stalk and kill hikers.

        A few stories:

        Washington Compost:
A runner in Colorado fought and killed an 80-pound mountain lion that attacked him on a nature trail in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, wildlife officials said.

When a group of officers arrived at a neighborhood in Loveland, Colorado, after a call of a mountain lion attack, they tried to contain the big cat. But instead, it attacked a deputy…

There have been TEN VERIFIED attacks in CA alone in the last couple decades.

        Liked by 5 people

        1. Ca attacks are so incredibly rare. We encroach on them. And we are tracking them. 3 or 4 this oast year have died due to ingesting rats that have eaten poison. They need space. These should have been relocated bc it is done successfully. Or given the option for a rescue, bc there were places willing to take them.
Killing first is someones cheap thrill.

          2. There’s a reason why I’ve been using essential oils and spices for pest control. It’s safer for the predators. With all the rain, ants have been coming in. Rather than Terro which is essentially boric acid, I put a small dish of cinnamon on the window sill. They quit coming in. Peppermint repels spiders, and other critters.

Even as close as I live to a major city, we’ve had an influx of big owls and hawks due to the rodent population which exploded without higher level predators. They keep things in check.

              1. No kidding. They also like wool. My dad brought me a couple kilts from England, and one time I looked down and there were these little silverfish holes in the one. Fortunately, as luck would have it, my grandmother had an aunt who had a French reweaving business, and at the time, her best reweaver was still alive. My grandmother contacted her, and she rewove the hole.

I’ll have to look up siverfish to see what they react to other than strong perfume. I’m pretty allergic so that’s out…well, really, my family complains when I spray my favorite.

              2. I have to go through and put all bathroom products in plastic. It gets to be a pain. And they are always in the bathroom and kitchen bc of water anyways.

      2. I get killing SOME animals who start shadowing humans as game, but not simply for getting close. To me, that’s just the counterproductive, conflicted BS of the liberal world. “Save the animals”, but NIMBY.

We have potentially toddler-killing coyotes with 15-20% wolf genes wandering across all our properties, and people with little kids KNOW IT. We keep our eyes out for them, and everybody knows when they’re around. We LIKE having all the wildlife, including deer, foxes, groundhogs, big owls, hawks, bats, coyotes, skunks, raccoons, squirrels, rabbits, weasels, chipmunks, possums, vultures, crows, geese, ducks, cranes, and lots more. Roadkill everywhere. We control where the animals can den, and where they can’t, but they move where they like, and eat what they want.

Ten Bears calls bullshit on WEAK people who can’t live with predators. Humans have GUNS and can carry them everywhere in most places if they want. Top of the food chain. But NO – we can’t even do warning shots to scare off predators permanently – those aren’t even allowed. Must “call somebody”.

WEAK. We’ve lost our senses. “OH, NOES, THE CAT WAS ON MY PORCH!”

Look how wary those cats were. Scare ’em off. Easy. Never come back. Or LIVE WITH THEM.

All predators are welcome on my property! ON MY DECK. They know to keep a healthy distance, but are not afraid to pass through.

Yeah, I’m old fashioned. Jog with a friggin’ gun. EASY.

        1. The BIG PROBLEM is the blasted gun laws.

We have coyotes denning in the woods on my property. I hear them at night. We also have bear and big cats. They stay away because of all the guns in the neighborhood. We also have a bald eagle down the street, red hawks perched on the fence posts and before the coyotes I had a female red fox that hung around the barns eating mice.

Please note a deputy who is friends of my B-I-L had his little girl grabbed and dragged off by coyotes while they were BOTH in the backyard. My next door neighbor had his 6 year old daughter attacked and her face partly ripped off. She lost an eye. THAT was a dog who also attacked me a couple days before but the owner refused to control.

Obviously I like animals but I also know they can main and kill so I err on the safe side.

I think move to a rescue was the better option but there might not be any openings because of the CCP Crud. Or local one depends on donations. We have donated several thousand pounds of meat over the years. (Our vet makes the verdict and knows we are not squeamish.)

        2. In Germany the wild pigs are a problem. In Parks and even on beaches the pigs do not seem to be afraid.

At my house wildlife is respectful of us and back down to the dogs or run away as soon as the back door opens. Specially my Australian cattle dog makes a strange growl when she knows something is hiding late in evening in the backyard on an arbor. I do not leave my dogs out as long as wildlife comes and goes at night no problem.
We have visits from deer 4-6 at the time but they are most on my front lawn. My neighbor told me they are there normally 5 in the morning when he comes home from work.. I do not mind and we do not befriend them therefore they are not to trusting even though people stopped their car at my house to take photos when they show up afternoon.

  13. Did I mention I have NOTHING but contempt for the US Supreme Court?

Supreme Court won’t challenge relaxed mail-in ballot rules for Rhode Island absentee voters

The Supreme Court will allow Rhode Island’s loosened mail-in voting requirements, which were passed to help mitigate the spread of the coronavirus.

The court declined to intervene on Thursday in a battle over whether state residents, who previously needed to sign mail-in ballots in front of two witnesses or a notary, would have to go through the process for November’s election. The justices noted in their unsigned order rebuffing the Republican National Committee, which asked them to step in, that GOP lawmakers had already agreed to the provisions during the primary.

The court wrote that unlike “similar cases where a state defends its own law, here the state election officials support the challenged decree, and no state official has expressed opposition. Under these circumstances, the applicants lack a cognizable interest in the state’s ability to enforce its duly enacted laws.”

The order also noted that Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Neil Gorsuch would have granted the application.

President Trump and many of his allies have sought to prevent mass mail-in voting, arguing that doing so would open the possibility for interference and fraud….

    1. Note that the GOP agreed to the primary ballot scheme. Just like they did in 1986 (IIRC) when they consent decreed to not do any voter integrity operations. For decade after decade the donkeys had free reign to scam and ballot stuff to their black hearts’ content. Fortunately, that decree has finally been vacated.

But the stupidity of the GOP to agree with the enemy seems genetic. “Let’s always try to get along with Freddie Krueger. Maybe this time he’ll be kind to us.”

  15. Oh my. I hate to sound like a gratuitous whiner, but the press conference is just bad. BAD. The monotone all-encompassing “recap” format is not his forte. Well, now it’s the Israel/Emirates topic, that’s better. 🙄

      1. I would lose the “sleepy Joe” thing. It’s past it’s sell date and way too cutesy for someone so depraved. The reporters are not even asking about Biden, because his whole act is so obviously dismal. Apart from addressing what he blurted out about masks, he should have ignored Biden today. Just my gut impression.

        1. Who in the heck was that hateful reporter that asked POTUS when we was going to stop lying??
We couldn’t believe it…and, he even asked sans mask so we could see the hate in his face.
If I were POTUS, the very first thing I’d say…I never want to see that person the the press room again.

  16. Since there is debate on Kamala and here ‘Natural Citizenship’

I suggest people read: Birthright Citizenship and Dual Citizenship: Harbingers of Administrative Tyranny from Hillsdale college. The author “Edward J. Erler is professor emeritus of political science at California State University, San Bernardino. He earned his B.A. from San Jose State University and his M.A. and Ph.D. in government from the Claremont Graduate School.”

it is a bit complicated so I will not try to summarize.

I also think both OH!Bummer and Kamala were picked out of ALL the 300+ million people BECAUSE they are not actually Natural Citizens. Typical PROGRESSIVE pushing the envelope. It is also WHY I think the question on Birthright Citizenship should WAIT until President Trump places a couple more CONSTITUTIONAL Supreme Court justices in the court.

I also agree with him that Dual Citizenship is a real no-no

….The same kind of confusion that has led us to accept birthright citizenship for the children of illegal aliens has led us to tolerate dual citizenship. We recall that the framers of the Fourteenth Amendment specified that those who are naturalized must owe exclusive allegiance to the U.S. to be included within its jurisdiction. And the citizenship oath taken today still requires a pledge of such allegiance. But in practice dual citizenship—and dual allegiance—is allowed. This is a sign of the decline of American citizenship and of America as a nation-state.

It is remarkable that 85 percent of all immigrants arriving in the U.S. come from countries that allow—and encourage—dual citizenship. Dual citizens, of course, give the sending countries a unique political presence in the U.S., and many countries use their dual citizens to promote their own interests by exerting pressure on American policy makers. Such foreign meddling in our internal political affairs has in fact become quite routine. Thus we have created a situation where a newly naturalized citizen can swear exclusive allegiance to the U.S. while retaining allegiance to a vicious despotism or a theocratic tyranny.

Elite liberal opinion has for many years considered the sovereign nation-state as an historical anachronism in an increasingly globalized world. We are assured that human dignity adheres to the individual and does not require the mediation of the nation-state. In this new universe of international norms, demands on the part of the nation-state to exclusive allegiance or for assimilation violate “universal personhood.” In such a universe, citizenship will become superfluous or even dangerous.

Those who advocate open borders tend to share this cosmopolitan view of transnational citizenship…..

Report: Gulf States Oman and Bahrain to Follow UAE’s Lead in Normalizing Relations With Isreal
Tipped by JackStraw. This guy identifies himself as a reporter working for NewsIsrael13.

#BREAKING Oman and Bahrain to follow UAE in normalizing Israel ties: American official tells Palestinian newspaper Al-Quds

    Yosef Yisrael
earlier Kushner said at the White House that “There is a good chance that another country could make a deal with Israel in the coming days”

This passes the smell test — it has long been known that the Gulf States of UAE, Bahrain, and Oman were in an open-secret alliance with Israel (as well as Saudi Arabia) against another open-secret alliance of the hardline Sunni Islamists of Turkey and the hardline Shi’a Islamists of Iran.

Update: Ben Rhodes is crying as his terrorist cronies in Iran are being weakened.

  18. DA Paul Howard, Fulton County, GA who charged the two cops with the murder of Rayshard Brooks in Atlanta lost his reelection runoff bid only getting 27% of the vote to Fanni Willis who received 73% of the vote. Willis will do a reevaluation of the case however she anticipates the case will end up leaving the county as Howard used the case as advertisement in his efforts to be reelected.
