The economic indicators are telling us a story. The Economic Train is about to literally takeoff. The housing market and manufacturing index are at pre-covid levels.

Now you can add the service sector as well.

From the article linked above:

The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) Non-Manufacturing Index (NMI) rose to 58.1% in July, stronger than economists expected. The reading indicates U.S. service sector expanded for the second month after two months in contraction.

Forecasts ranged from a low of 53.5 to a high of 57.5. The consensus forecast was 55.0. In June, the NMI posted the largest single-month percentage-point gain since the NMI debut in 1997, and now in July is at the highest level since February 2019.

The Stock Market is continuing to go up across all 3 indices. The Atlanta Federal Reserve can only continue to make revisions upward for the 3rd Quarter.

The Nasdaq Composite set an all time record at the close yesterday (3rd consecutive day).

  • Nasdaq Composite – closed at 10,998 (ALL TIME HIGH ON AUGUST 5th & 2 points away from 11K)

Lets take a look at how far the other 2 indexes are from their record high.

  • DJIA – closed at 27,201 / record high 29,551 on February 12th (currently 2,350 off the record high)
  • S&P 500 – closed at 3,327 / record high 3,386 on February 19th (currently 59 off the record high)

Meanwhile their candidate decided to lose his cool with a black reporter who questioned him about whether he recently took a cognitive test.

From the article linked above:

Joe Biden bristled at a question about whether or not he has taken a cognitive test, asking an interviewer Tuesday morning whether he would pass a drug test and stumbling over his words several times in the course of one minute.

During an event with the National Association of Black Journalists, CBS News’ Errol Barnett asked if Biden has taken a test that would assess his mental fitness, and Biden snapped, “No, I haven’t taken a test! Why the hell would I take a test? C’mon, man!”

Biden then challenged Barnett, “That’s like saying you, before you got in this program, if you take a test where you’re taking cocaine or not, what do you think? Huh? Are you a junkie?”

The presumptive presidential nominee went on to boast of his mental acuity and readiness to debate Trump — but stumbled with word order, word choice, and pronunciation multiple times in the same sentences.

“I’m so forward looking to have an opportunity to sit with the president — or stand with the president — in debates,” he insisted.

“I am very willing to let the American people judge my physical, mental fil–my physical as well as my mental fil–fitness,” he concluded.

This had to literally drive HRC, the DNC, BHO and the deep state insane! The nooses around their necks are getting tighter.

Here is the winner of the day!

This is another perfect example of when you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.

The Governor of the State of New York killed the elderly in his nursing homes because of his asinine policy. The same Governor has the largest number of Coronavirus deaths in the country. NYC is seeing a massive surge in shootings, murders, robberies etc.

Begging people to return isn’t going to do the trick.

Especially if your offer is to have a drink with them!

From the article linked above:

Cuomo begs wealthy New Yorkers to come back to save the city and pleads ‘I’ll buy you a drink!’ as he fights off calls to raise their taxes – which he fears may scare them away forever

  • Cuomo said on Tuesday that he speaks to the city’s wealthiest residents ‘every day’, begging them to come back
  • Many fled for the Hamptons, upstate New York or Connecticut when the pandemic hit
  • By May, at least 420,000 of the city’s wealthiest residents had fled the city
  • Their exodus was cemented when riots and looting tore through the city in June
  • Now, there are calls for higher taxes on the super wealthy to offset the projected $30 billion deficit New York is facing over the next two years
  • Cuomo is resisting it, saying it will only drive the billionaires out of the city for good
  • Crime is up in New York City with a shocking 286% in robberies on the Upper East Side alone, shootings have gone up and arrests have halved
  • The NYPD lost $1billion from its budget in the wake of the BLM movement

More explosions are taking place around the world.

I also stumbled on this one from the middle of July:

From the article linked above:

A large fire broke out at a shipyard in the southern Iranian port city of Bushehr on Wednesday, burning seven ships and sending plumes of black smoke billowing above the city skyline, according to videos and Iranian media reports.

The fire followed dozens of recent fires and explosions across Iran’s forests, factories and military and nuclear facilities in the past three months that have rattled ordinary Iranians. Iranian officials have said that some of the episodes may have been acts of sabotage but blamed weather, accidents and equipment malfunctions for the others.

On Tuesday an aluminum factory in the industrial city of Lamard, in Fars Province, caught fire. On Sunday, a fire broke out at petrochemical plant in Khuzestan Province.

Another BIG win for our President and our country!

From the article linked above:

A federal appeals court on Wednesday reversed a judge’s order that shut down the Dakota Access pipeline pending a full environmental review.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit sided with pipeline owner Energy Transfer to keep the oil flowing, saying a lower-court judge “did not make the findings necessary for injunctive relief.”

Speaking about the federal courts, the Judicial Armada is about to grow by another two judges.

Our President’s reelection campaign continues to bring in serious dollars to assure our President is able to win reelection on November 3rd.

China is about to get their asses handed to them! Those tariffs will not only all come back, they will likely be doubled. 50% tariffs here we come!

From the article linked above:

Senior U.S. and Chinese officials will review the implementation of their Phase 1 trade deal and likely air mutual grievances in an increasingly tense relationship during an Aug. 15 videoconference, two people familiar with the plans said.

U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Chinese Vice Premier Liu He, the principal negotiators for the two countries, will participate in the meeting, an initial six-month review of the pact activated on Feb. 15.

[…] But China, battered by the global coronavirus recession, is far behind the pace needed to meet its first-year goal of a $77 billion increase. Imports of farm goods have been lower than the 2017 level, far behind the 50% increase needed to meet the 2020 target of $36.5 billion.

Beijing has bought only 5% of the energy products needed to meet the Phase 1 first year goal of $25.3 billion.

Another fantastic ad putout by our President’s reelection campaign:

What an absolutely incredible video our President tweeted:

  2. More winning for the Energy Sector!

    From the article linked above

    […] The statement added:

Project construction will support the creation of 42,000 family-sustaining jobs in the U.S, including more than 10,000 high-paying construction jobs that will be filled primarily by union workers. Keystone XL pipeline construction will generate $2 billion in earnings for U.S. workers, according to the 2014 Final Environmental Impact Statement done by the U.S. State Department.

Keystone XL will create jobs and energy security in North America, by ensuring a reliable source of crude oil to the United States. Construction of Keystone XL will inject approximately $3.4 billion into the U.S. GDP. Once complete, Keystone XL will continue to contribute to the local economy, adding approximately $55 million in property taxes to local communities in Montana, South Dakota and Nebraska during the first year of operation.

              1. The other story sounds like a backpack with the gun and ammo was on Mara largo land since the dog found it ?while? hunting for the teens.

….As officers got closer to the vehicle, the driver took off for a short distance.

The three people in the car, identified only as teenagers, ran off as police gave chase. The suspects scaled a wall into Mar-a-Lago.

Officers and a K9 eventually caught up with the trio and they were taken into custody. The dog also located a backpack with an AK-47 rifle and a loaded magazine inside. Nobody claimed ownership of the weapon.

The teens are charged with trespassing with a firearm, burglary with a firearm and resisting arrest without violence….

I am sure those teens are being closely checked out but the Fake News will not be told.

The children of psychopath megalomaniacs generally get the heck as far a way as they can when they come of age or are browbeaten into non-entities so the dynasties do not last much past 3 or 4 generations. The trick is to NOT have another psychopath megalomaniac rise to take over. We are BLESSED to have President Trump!

I’m wondering if the fire aboard the amphibious assault ship Bonhomme Richard at the Navy base in San Diego has anything to do with some of the fires in Iran that have been military related. I suspect that the fire aboard the Richard was arson. Too convenient that the fire suppression system aboard the ship was not operable when the fire started.

    1. Teachers Unions DEMAND Parents START HOMESCHOOLING!

Seeking homeschool groups to supplement your children’s learning at home? Here’s where to look and what to consider to find ones in your area.

Homeschooling may seem like it could be lonely or isolating, but many homeschooling families belong to communities and groups that offer plenty of opportunities for students and parents to socialize, learn in a group setting and be active outside their homes…

The trick is in finding that community. Local homeschooling groups and events can be difficult to track down.

“People want community,” Green said. “They want to know what resources are out there. They want answers to their questions. They want to feel a part of something and know that there are others like them facing the same challenges and struggles. That sense of community is important.”

Here are a few tips for finding homeschooling communities.

      Visit your local library….
Some of the most robust online lists of homeschool organizations in the U.S. are provided by Practical Homeschooling Magazine, the Home School Legal Defence Association, and a California-based homeschooling resource called Homefires.

Many of homeschool organizations listed on these websites identify as Christian, however, that doesn’t necessarily mean that all who participate in their programs or benefit from their services are required to hold the same faith….

Remember if you hook up with a group you may still be able to work since the ‘load’ is shared.

      1. Homeschooling is much more organized than it has been in the past – and those tax dollars everyone pays for our children to attend public schools (with unionized teachers declining to participate) should be allocated to homeschools.

Lots of businesses were closed or just empty. Grand Canyon oark, almost every single thing was closed. Some guft shops and a couple places to stay were open.
I did see several pro Trump shirts, hats, flags and more American flags though.

  12. New York Times video op-ed pushing this story I see

Professor Allan Lichtman, who has accurately predicted elections since 1984, says Biden will win

The Republicans’ loss of the House not only gives Trump a zero in that category, but it also leads to losing another key: dealing with scandal, which includes his impeachment, “plus plenty of other scandals,” Lichtman states.

Lichtman also pointed to the massive social unrest erupting around the country through protests against racial injustice following the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor as a factor to potentially help Biden.

“There has been enough social unrest on the streets with enough violence to threaten the social order,” Lichtman said.

The professor also swung both long and short-term economic impacts towards Biden following economic collapse due to the coronavirus, explaining, “The pandemic has caused such negative GDP growth in 2020 that the key has turned false” to helping Trump.

Lichtman also labeled both Biden and Trump as not having the advantage of being charismatic, deeming Biden the “uncharismatic challenger” while saying Trump is a “great showman, but only appeals to a narrow slice of the American people.”

He also said “there are forces at play outside the keys” in 2020, including potential voter suppression and possible meddling from foreign countries, including Russia.

    Rolls eyes.

The house going to the other side happens all the time.
social unrest—- is pissing people off. People want Law and order
negative GDP growth in 2020 —- have you see the stock market?

  13. As of 3:00 PM Mountain time. gold at 2064.20, silver at $28.99, platinum is at $1005 (finally busting a thousand dollars), all of these numbers Kitco “ask” prices. I still remember when platinum was always about 20% more than gold, I can’t quite figure out why it’s been on sale for years now.

Gold is basically wandering around in territory it hadn’t been in, ever, before Monday.

Palladium used to be much cheaper than gold and is now at $2282; a few months ago it was at this general level while gold was farting around in the $1500 range.

      1. Maybe it’s because Gold is traded on all the international markets too?

I’m wondering if one of the reasons that Gold is skyrocketing, is because of it’s use in making that radiation shielding on space-faring craft and aircraft that go up into the outer atmosphere?

        Liked by 2 people

        1. Yeah, when I made the first post I was thinking it was Friday…and the markets would close down until Sunday evening (US Time), but on any other weekday, markets (in Japan perhaps) open up late in the afternoon (my time).

Gold is used as reflective foil in such applications (not radiation shielding) because it will reflect light when beaten very thin–so it is lighter than other things under those circumstances. And on spacecraft, light weight is overwhelmingly important.

To shield against cosmic rays and gamma rays, you need great thicknesses of some heavy metal–and lead will be much more economical under those circumstances.

In any case the amount of gold used for these applications is minuscule compared to the market volume.
