Yesterday our President stopped for a brief press conference with the media prior to departing for Texas.

Yesterday our President delivered remarks in Midland, TX, on the topic of restoring energy dominance in the Permian Basin.

Here are some shorter video clips:

From the article linked above:

[…] The Lone Star State accounted for 41 percent of America’s crude oil production in 2019, along with 25 percent of natural gas production and 31 percent of oil refining capacity. That means much more than energy — it means jobs, prosperity and opportunity. We know what a source of pride it is for Texas to be America’s standout energy producing state and to play such a critical role in our national security.

[…] Finally, DOE has advanced a policy proposal to extend liquefied natural gas authorizations through the year 2050. This proposal would provide further regulatory certainty to LNG exporters as they compete in the global market. The proposed extension would also boost investment in energy infrastructure in Texas, spur job creation and advance America’s energy security goals.

[…] Texas has long fueled our nation with its abundant oil and gas supplies, and with the support of DOE investment, it will continue to do so.

Here is another perfect example that when you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. Angela Merkel has played stupid games when it comes to paying 2% of her country’s GDP towards NATO. She also gives the Russians billions of dollars a year for energy.

From the article linked above:

The Trump administration announced plans Wednesday to withdraw almost 12,000 troops from Germany, a sweeping continentwide reorganization that has provoked bipartisan congressional opposition and widespread dismay in Europe.

Secretary of Defense Mark Esper told a Pentagon briefing that the move would benefit Washington’s strategic interests abroad, strengthening NATO and deterring Russia, and equipping the military for “a new era of great power competition.”

But President Donald Trump has previously offered a different explanation, suggesting the planned drawdown is punishment for his long-standing complaint that Germany does not spend enough on its military.

[…] Esper said the number of U.S. troops permanently based in Germany would be reduced by around 11,900, from some 36,000 to 24,000. That’s even more than the 9,500 announced last month.

Almost half, around 5,600, will move to other parts of Europe including Belgium, Poland and Italy. The other 6,400-odd troops will initially come back to the United States, with many of them then beginning shorter rotational deployments back in Europe, in places such as the Black Sea region and the Baltics.

In addition, several U.S. military headquarters would be moved out of the country, including United States European Command which will move to Belgium, he said.

The Economic Train is continuing to crisscross the country picking up passengers and running over her enemies.

From the article linked above:

The National Association of Realtors (NAR) reported pending home sales surged more than three times the consensus forecast by 16.6% in June, after soaring a record 44.3% in May. As a result of the stronger-than-expected recovery and growth in housing, the NAR raised its forecast for the market.

[…] The Pending Home Sales Index (PHSI) — a forward-looking indicator of home sales based on contract signings — shot higher to 116.1. Year-over-year, contract signings are now 6.3% nationally.

Forecasts ranged from a low of -10.0% to a high of 15.6%. The consensus forecast was only 5.2%. An index of 100 is equal to the level of contract activity in 2001.

“It is quite surprising and remarkable that, in the midst of a global pandemic, contract activity for home purchases is higher compared to one year ago,” said Lawrence Yun, NAR’s chief economist. “Consumers are taking advantage of record-low mortgage rates resulting from the Federal Reserve’s maximum liquidity monetary policy.”

I can’t wait to see the Big Tech companies destroyed by our President and his administration.

From the article linked above:

On Monday, the Department of Commerce, as directed by President Donald J. Trump’s Executive Order on Preventing Online Censorship, filed a petition to clarify the scope of Section 230 of the 1996 Communications Decency Act. The petition requests that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) clarify that Section 230 does not permit social media companies that alter or editorialize users’ speech to escape civil liability. The petition also requests that the FCC clarify when an online platform curates content in “good faith,” and requests transparency requirements on their moderation practices, similar to requirements imposed on broadband service providers under Title I of the Communications Act.  President Trump will continue to fight back against unfair, un-American, and politically biased censorship of Americans online.

At yesterday’s assembly of Big Tech oligarchs, Representative Jim Jordan delivered opening remarks that cut right to the heart of the matter.

RBG is back in the hospital!

Here is what athien1 had to say about the latest development:

Democrats are hemorrhaging voters in the State of Pennsylvania.

From the article linked above:

Since the 2016 primary election, Republicans have added about 165,000 net voters, while Democrats added only about 30,000. Democrats still maintain a 800,000-voter edge over Republicans. But that’s down from 936,000 in 2016, when Trump still won the state by less than 1%.

“Look, the president won our state by 44,000-plus votes in 2016,” said Lawrence Tabas, chair of the Pennsylvania Republican Party. “We have since picked up and narrowed the gap between us and the Democrats [by 135,000]. So we were already ahead 44,000, and look what we’ve picked up. I predict we’re going to narrow the gap further between now and November.”

[…] Between the 2016 and 2020 primary elections, Democratic voter registrations increased by 30,506, or 0.7%, while Republican voter registrations increased by 164,778, or 5.2%.

[…] But registration shifts also correlate with presidential voting. In the 2004 through 2016 elections, vote share for the two major parties’ nominees in Pennsylvania’s 67 counties moved in the same direction as voter registrations did 88% of the time.

Their Coronavirus dreams are evaporating right in front of their eyes! This data is absolutely devastating when you look at the percentage for jobs and the economy versus COVID-19.

Black Americans are continuing to awaken!

Enthusiasm is everything!

From the article linked above:

[…] Pollsters are consistently telling us Democratic nominee Joe Biden is far ahead. I’m not looking to pick a fight, as their sample sizes are much larger than mine. That said, as a focus group moderator, I’m hearing strong support for President Donald Trump from a critical sliver of the electorate.

For reference, focus groups are early-detection systems of shifting public opinion. Before something important appears in polling, it often bubbles up first in focus group conversations.

And, each month for the past 17 months, I’ve had a unique window into the Americans largely responsible for giving the president his slim Electoral College victory: so-called “Obama-Trump” swing voters across the upper Midwest.

Our Swing Voter Project has uncovered that many of these people, who live in places such as Canton, Ohio; Davenport, Iowa; Erie, Pennsylvania; and Macomb County, Michigan, prefer Trump over Biden. In fact, 22 of 33 respondents in these four most recent locations feel this way.

[…] And over the first year of the project, from March 2019 through February 2020, more than two-thirds of the “Obama-Trump” voters said they would take Trump over Obama in a hypothetical match-up.

    1. i don’t doubt we will see “her” in the gym in 2 weeks, and out and about at dark lecture halls and the like…hiding in plain sight…till they can rig the election for Joe. then they will say she passed. and the fight over who really won the election will be biblical!

      1. Deep state plan is slightly beyond 62 days, October, RBG expiration will be flashed in the news. D-Rats
hope to motivate uninspired D-Rat voters.

Reality is RBG passing will increase conservative voters enthusiasm. Next four years will bring three, possibly four Justice openings.

  2. TS ISAIAS has formed, the 9th so far, and it’s not even August yet…

    50-52 mph max sustained

    63-65 mph gusts

    moving WNW at 20-23 mph

this is a sprawling storm with TS force winds extending out 345 miles.

Tropical Storm warnings + watches issued for Bahamas and Turks & Caicos Islands.

Isaias is hitting Puerto Rico.. and Hispaniola today… its interaction w/ Dominican Republic’s mountainous terrain will determine what happens next…that will determine it’s strength…and whether it heads west (into GoM) or more easterly (Bahamas, Carolinas)…

this storm has an ever-changing track…this morning, it is tracking more easterly than yesterday…all depends on how strong it remains after DR interaction…

and.. still not necessarily an absolute that it will impact Florida…it could still take that eastward track skirting just east of Florida, over Bahamas..

    here’s NOAA’s 2 am Cone….

here is accuweather’s informative discussion update w/ graphics…

TS Isaias Forms As It Surges Toward Hispaniola…Sets Sight On Florida

    July 30, 2020 3:14 am

    Intensity Guide (will keep changing)…

also…if this does take the easterly track, there is a nearby gulf stream in place which would produce an environment conducive to strengthening…hopefully, it will remain as a Tropical Storm…but wind GUSTS could well-exceed 60 mph.

(I’m not going to post the 3 different tracking scenarios unless you think that’s helpful)

    Liked by 6 people

      1. It’s really good news that it’s not going to intensify greatly or be a major hurricane.

However, on the FL panhandle, we have seen more rain/flooding from Tropical Storms than some hurricanes.

        1. Cat 1 = 74-95 mph winds….Isaias is looking like high gusts …hopefully it will not develop beyond a TS, sustained winds…but, depending on where it goes, after DR terrain, it could head into more conducive conditions…with gusts exceeding 70 mph…and it’s very wide…TS force winds extending out 300+ miles…so…it bears watching…
I do not trust these things…esp the “I” storms (!)…
the less warm water, the better…and out into the Atlantic, there’s no more dry air/wind shear…
hope for the best….but…get yr beans in.

  4. Have the perfidious ChiComs screwed up their relationship with Russia?

Text of three additional tweets in this short thread:

A busting espionage case involving China in Russia was recently revealed by Indian news agency ANI. It claimed that Russia’s FSB nabbed Valery Mitko, director of a social science institute in St Petersburg affiliated with the Russian government, in February on grounds of treason.

Charges leveled at Mitko include feeding Chinese agents intelligence about Russian sonar and submarine detection technologies while he was a visiting scholar at the Dalian Maritime University in northeastern China back in 2016.

Hong Kong’s Ming Pao daily cited sources in China that Beijing’s embassy in Moscow had a dedicated office “guiding” Chinese students, visiting scholars and contractors in the county to glean classified information about the Russian military and aerospace and nuclear sectors.

Truth is, Republicans are the lesser of two crappy choices.

        A) Socialist D-Rat efforts to destroy America.

        B) Republicans that talk a good game and fold at the slightest headwind. Bought and paid for? (Yes)
        – – Too commonly they abandon or simply don’t support President Trump.

Yesterday, 108 Republicans voted for a bill in the House that included taking guns from Active Military.
        – Republicans voted AGAINST Second Amendment. LET THAT SINK IN.
        – Yes, it’ll likely not get out of the Senate. If it does President Trump will veto it.

100% without a doubt, ALL of my enthusiasm IS for President Trump. Not Republicans that turn on us all too often.

That said, I ALWAYS VOTE. I ALWAYS Vote Republican. Lesser of two crappy choices.

PA is not a surprise to me…I see NO Biden signs here. in 2016, I saw a couple of Hillary ones…but so far not a single Biden. POTUS is delivering on promises–UNHEARD of in the world of politics…and we were enjoying the prosperity that fracking and natural gas were starting to bring to smaller counties. Biden and the green new deal would end that.

hubby told me he saw an article yesterday evening that saw the little Fascist was recommending EYE SHIELDS now too besides masks…gotta see what I can find on that…sigh

Herman Cain, the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO and one-time Republican presidential candidate who campaigned on a sweeping tax reform plan called the 9-9-9 plan, died Thursday morning after a monthlong battle with COVID-19. He was 74.

Cain beat Stage 4 colon cancer back in 2006, and has been described by friends and family as a fighter. He was admitted to the hospital due to his COVID-19 infection on July 1.

In the US, you have to have an ID to do most everything. The main thing – they want to cheat, vote multiple times, fake voters, dead voters, illegals and felons voting, etc.

Unfortunately, yes, Georgia – all of the things we have known for a long time – it appears he has just spouted out their playbook – blaming others for their failures is their mantra – every election cycle – the same thing – he should have stayed in his basement – the worthless troublemaker he is – he has been a marxist/communist from the beginning – community organizer – everything about him is a lie – including every word out of his mouth – using a funeral to talk politics just shows his lack of manners – what a disgusting, evil human being he is – devoid of any human emotion – in love with himself – could care less about others – just like his father – the father of lies.

The U.S. economy suffered its worst period ever in the second quarter, with GDP falling a historic 32.9%.

Economists surveyed by Dow Jones were looking for a decline of 34.7%.

Neither the Great Depression nor the Great Recession nor any other slump over the past two centuries have ever caused such a sharp drain on the economy.

Also if your kids are being home schooled/video schooled and nothing in person why buy all those school supplies? I was at the dollar tree the other day and they had tons of stuff (and fall items as well).

But shopping for new cloths with masks on? No way.

I was at a gov meeting and someone kept saying people have the money just not spending it.

  10. So after some digging about the biliary STENT WITHIN STENT procedure that RBG underwent, found this:
“Successful stent-in-stent dilatation of the common through a duodenal prosthesis, a novel technique for malignant obstruction: A case report and review of literature”

“A novel technique for malignant obstruction”. Think about that.
This report describes a procedure to insert a metal expanding stent within an already-in-place self-expanding metal stent in a patient with Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma. The purpose of the procedure was to attempt to reduce elevated bilirubin levels and relieve biliary obstruction.
It seems apparent to me that RBG may well have a significant increase in the malignancy AND the spread of her pancreatic cancer.
If this stent-within-stent doesn’t perform as expected and/or she has a further increase of biliary obstruction and/or cancer spread, it appears that there aren’t other options to help her other than direct invasive drainage of the area.
There a some interesting photos of the in-situ BLACK cancerous mass in the patient referred to in the article. One may infer that RBG’s carcinoma may look something like this in its location in her body.
This report chronicles the FIRST USE of the stent-within-stent procedure.
And RBG is in her 80’s.
I agree with au ng in his opinion that RBG will not be back on the bench. IF she is somehow well enough to work, my guess is that she will work from home as she has done before.
My personal opinion is that “somebody” is pushing RBG to keep going until just after the November election. Even IF she is h3ll-bent focused on dedication to her work as a member of the Supreme Court, her body is being tortured not only with spreading inoperable cancer, but with these repeated procedures / infections / hospitalizations.
