LIVE THREAD: Nad-less Versus The Honey Badger

NEW EDIT: It’s on for today, just delayed. Welcome to the discussion.

As Mr. Nadler reportedly was in a car accident this morning, the hearing has been postponed. When it actually happens, I’ll revive the thread.

Are we ready for this? Are we ready for Attorney General William Barr to sit before the man who calls Antifa a hoax to answer questions on…well, whatever petty little insult Jerry Nadler, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, who has been in the House of Representatives for entirely too long can come up with. in relation to Russiagate. I mean this is the man who has some serious issues with reality.

Deh Nile ain’t just a river in Egypt, folks.

Okay, so I may or may not be around to moderate this morning as I hear my sister has plans for me outside of the house, so here’s the live thread for all note taking, Tweets, video clips, and high and low lights of the main event. I will find a live thread or two before heading out.

I put this in the comments, but it should be here as well. This is the PDF of Honey Badger’s opening statement:

Maybe we’ll get lucky and get another one of these moments:

  1. I don’t know about you – but, I am so embarrassed these people were allegedly ‘elected’ to Congress.

Americans are getting another ‘Clown Show’ – a ‘Circus of Stars’ representing the demented, demonic left!

  2. Swallwell: “You don’t read the president’s tweets?”
    Barr: “No.” 😂
Barr: “I consider iit a very Rube Goldberg theory that you have.” 😂

        1. You haven’t missed much. Hearings started late because Nads got in a car wreck. Jim Jordan showed a terrific video during his opening. The Dims have grandstanded and postured and tried to bully Barr, as usual. Most interesting bit IMO was Barr admitting he has a US Atty from
TX named Bash looking into the unmaskings by the Obama Administration.

          1. John Bash clerked for Scalia and Kavanaugh, and is married to Zina Bash, who sat behind Kavanaugh during the hearings, and was attacked by leftists for using the “OK” sign, but then was “OKed” by the press b/c of her Jewish heritage. That whole thing was a CIRCUS.

      1. Dems starting to panic that voters will blame them for riots
        By Thomas Lifson

Despite the best efforts of the propaganda media (aka, MSM) to sanitize as “mostly peaceful” violent, property-destroying and federal agent-blinding demonstrations that have engulfed Portland, Seattle, and other cities, the American people are catching on that Antifa is the armed auxiliary street force of the Democrat party, just as the KKK was a century and more ago. While the Dems thought that their strategy of making conditions terrible so that voters would throw out the incumbent was sound, it turns out that the availability of dramatic footage of real violence on social media has put the lie to the media coverups.

ANY WITNESS at a Congressional hearing being sworn to tell the truth.

When the witness says, “Yes. IS CSWORN TO TELL THE TRUTH?”

    1. Nadler is definitely peeved so he takes to whining – this video made a fool of him – demonstrating what a ‘myth’ this was – What a wuss!!! I will be glad when he is gone – and no longer has the podium!!!

        1. From Douglas Adams, in “Restaurant At The End Of The Universe”. Here’s to jynnan tonnyx 😀

“Oh, hello there,” he said to them, “Excuse me not getting up, having a quick bath. Well, jynnan tonnyx all round then. Look in the fridge Number one.”

          “Certainly sir.”

It is a curious fact, and one to which no one knows quite how much importance to attach, that something like 85% of all known worlds in the Galaxy, be they primitive or highly advanced, have invented a drink called jynnan tonnyx, or gee-N’N-T’N-ix, or jinond-o-nicks, or any one of a thousand or more variations on the same phonetic theme. The drinks themselves are not the same, and vary between the Sivolvian “chinanto/mnigs” which is ordinary water server at slightly above room temperature, and the Gagrakackan “tzjin-anthony-ks” which kills cows at a hundred paces; and in fact the one common factor between all of them, beyond the fact that the names sound the same, is that they were all invented and named before the worlds concerned made contact with any other worlds.

What can be made of this fact? It exists in total isolation. As far as any theory of structural linguistics is concerned it is right off the graph, and yet it persists. Old structural linguists get very angry when young structural linguists go on about it. Young structural linguists get deeply excited about it and stay up late at night convinced that they are very close to something of profound importance, and end up becoming old structural linguists before their time, getting very angry with the young ones. Structural linguistics is a bitterly divided and unhappy discipline, and a large number of its practitioners spend too many nights drowning their problems in Ouisghian Zodahs.

      1. I really wish he’d be a smartass and when they do give him a chance to answer, say something like, oh it’s MY turn to speak? thought you were just pausing in your tirade to breathe…
but he’s too dignified for that i guess…

      1. This is all about protecting Holder’s corruption, and his plans to keep DOJ under irreversible progressive/communist control starting in 2009.

ALL becoming clear now. OBAMA and HOLDER had a plan.

        1. As i have been telling you all along, ALL roads lead directly to Obama. HE is the reason for ALL this division, destruction, and suffering. ALL to save HIS sorry ass, and his PUTRID legacy. Holder was Obama’s self admitted “wingman”

  7. Nadler tells Jordan his concerns about the witness not being allowed to answer are irrelevant to the rules. Well, the rules need to be changed, then.

      1. It is almost impossible to stay civil listening to the propaganda from the far left democrat congress people. What rubbish so Stalinnesque. Were were they trained not in America. I am beside myself !
        These people are outrageous.

        1. I had to take a long break…I could feel my bp going up. Man, I’ve been pulling things out of the fridge and pantry and cooking up a storm….I end up giving half away but it’s my stress reliever. (cleaning house doesn’t quite do the same thing….sadly! 😂)
I have very little patience for willfully stupid people and these Dim committee members are really testing me today!

  8. As annoying as the democrat filth is, I am smiling because they clearly know they are getting ready to be relegated to the fringe of US society….a massive lost of power and influence…and a great swath of them are headed for lengthy prison terms.

If they were winning, they would NOT be so angry. They have lost, and they know it.

      1. Again, from the very beginning, I said Rice and Power and most likely others in the senior WH staff were UNMASKING Obama’s political opponents, and then feeding that info for dossiers and BLACKMAIL. This looks like a VERY coordinated systematic attack by Trump and Bar to first deconstruct the operations against Trump (and others) to compartmentalize them because they are so vast AND intertwined.

In the END, the will ALL be linked BACK together and HUNG (pun intended) neatly around Obama’s neck.

  9. Lawfare has certainly been busy writing D-Rat talking points. D-Rats on this committee are to stoopid to generate this many vile lies in such contemptuous words.

  10. This entire hearing is D-Rats further laying the ground work to pursue impeaching Barr. Far too many gotcha questions and narratives across the spectrum of issues.

    1. They REALLY are STUPID aren’t they. IF they impeach Bar, Trump can via the appointments clause, appoint a replacement for up yo 240 days. I might suggest two names on the SHORT list, Joe DiGenova and Sydney Powell. NO confirmation NEEDED. Play stupid games Dems, I DARE YOU.

Just like Grinnell was FAR worse for you than Radcliffe has been (so far), Just IMAGINE an AG Powell, RABIDLY using the info gathered by Durham et al that DOES NOT go away even IF Barr is impeached. Powell WOULD 100% EVISERATE ALL of you, and NOT stop till the gallows were BUILT, and IN USE.

      1. Asking, as I dunno. So, IF the House impeaches Barr, does it go to the Senate? Or, Barr is toast IF House impeaches?

            1. he is BETTER than safe, he holds ALL the cards. Gee WHAT have the Cabal been trying to frame trump for, OSTRUCTION of justice.

Yesterday I KNOW there are at LEAST two of those FRAUDS on the Dem side who if they TRIED it would be DIRECTLY obstructing justice, because THEY are DIRECTLY part of the scam.

  11. any one of the repubs could simply re-ask Barr one of the dems is asking and give him a chance to answer properly–pick the most damning and let him answer during the repub’s time. that takes away the dem soundbite

  12. That’s it. I’m done. That black (excuse me Black) chick from Georgia (the breast cancer survivor) just got on my last nerve. TV off. Can’t watch anymore. Now she’s starting to prate about gun violence. I’ll just keep to myself the thoughts I’m having about THAT.

  13. Dem Lucy McBath, after AG Barr clearly answered something in the affirmative: “I take that as a no.”
Her statement and Barr’s facial expression and gesture should be part of a gif. I imagine he is fuming, but he is also funny.

    1. Unofficially.
      – Hammer President Trump over Covid, mass mail voting.
      – Gotcha questions and narrative to impeach Barr.
      – Recover from d-Rat sponsored riots and terrorism.

Officially. Oversight, commonly known as politics.

    1. Nadler relented, but had to be talked into it with the aid of Jim Jordan, who has repeatedly spoken up about Barr not being allowed to answer questions. I want these people defeated so soundly that the Dem Party loses power for decades. But it’s a worldwide problem, not just Dems but progressivism/communism/globalism.

    This is a farce.

  16. It’s over. I think the Dems got together beforehand and decided not to let him answer, at all. There are always times when the witness is not allowed to finish an answer, but this was the most extreme, rude example I’ve ever seen.

This was a big turn off for people and i hope for independent people.
One thing about America that is very striking as immigrant is the American believe in fairness.
Fairness was trampled into the hearts of Americans.
        The democrats lost today.
        God Bless AG Barr.

  17. so this is the crux of the hearing then? the dems are worried about the timing of the indictments…lol..suckers!!

    Dr.Darrell Scott
Rep. Powell:”Under oath, do you commit to not releasing Durhams report before the election ?” AG Barr:”No!” Round goes to Barr with a late knockdown.

        1. Me thinks Barr is intentionally not focusing on, “caught them all” and indictments are coming soon.

No warning for jackals to raise false flag or cause other havoc. Let the D-rats have their false sense of security.

    1. There is “no report” being created by Durham. Not an IG.

Durham is conducting a criminal investigation. Criminal investigations are never released. Indictments are and commonly arrests, prosecutions… 🙂

  18. Best take away IMO @3:51 (my cut is just before so you have to let it play)
Democrat Rep Powell, Florida: “Under Oath, Do you commit to not releasing any report by Mr. Durham before the Nov elections”.
    Barr. “No”.

Can’t recall stoopid Steny saying a word. More political theater I suppose.

Only thing I know about stoopid Steny is, MD swamp creature used as a stooge for Piglosi and Cry’n Chuck photo ops.

  20. These people are vile. Not a place hot enough in Hell for them. Barr should refuse any more hearings. They’re not interested in his answers. This was grandstanding and deliberate effort to sabotage him.

    Liked by 10 people

    1. “Barr should refuse any more hearings.”
I agree. Maybe these hearings are required by statute as oversight of some kind, but if he is going to be treated that way and not allowed to speak, he should not have to show up for it. This was not oversight today. It was political speeches and mistreatment of Barr. No one should have to show up for that kind of abuse.
