Dear KAG: 20200716 Running Silent Open Thread

Interesting, I searched “running silent” for some ideas for today’s thread since Q has been quiet, and I got references to two movies. One is “Run Silent, Run Deep” from 1958 with Clark Gable and Burt Lancaster that is about submarines, and the other is a 1972 movie titled “Silent Running” with Bruce Dern which is all about earth’s fauna having been destroyed, and the greenhouse is in space and Bruce Dern has been sent back to earth to destroy the rest of it….

Seriously, how long has Hollywood been tipped off about all this stuff.

And, now we’re being told to “trust the science” which, as we all recall is blinding.

The title of the album is “The Golden Age of Wireless.” WHOA!

All this predicting the future decades ago is freaking me out.

Okay, now I’m really freaked out.

As usual, this is the daily thread, the place to put all information that needs to be out there – Q drops, Q drop decodes, potential riot information, rumors about MAGA rallies starting up again, news flashes, WuFlu updates (is that still a thing?), satire, memes, and of course cute animal videos.

In the meantime, the short and sweet version of “THE RULES” is here borrowed from Tuesday:

Guidelines for posting and discussion on this site were outlined by our host, WolfM00n. Please, review them from time to time.

The discourse on this site is to be CIVIL – no name calling, baiting, or threatening others here is allowed. Those who are so inclined may visit Wolf’s other sanctuary, the U-Tree, to slog it out.

This site is a celebration of the natural rights endowed to humans by our Creator as well as those enshrined in the Bill of Rights adopted in the founding documents of the United States of America. Within the limits of law, how we exercise these rights is part of the freedom of our discussion.

Fellow tree dweller Wheatie gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

Since it is almost the weekend, the reminders are in place to not swing from the chandeliers, wash your hands and face, marinate the ribs, and be nice to the liberals whether they deserve it or not. Making your bed, OTOH, is optional.

MT 11:28-30

Jesus said:
“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened,
and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am meek and humble of heart;
and you will find rest for yourselves.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.”

Time to be a rebel and #TakeOffTheMask! And…time to revisit this now that the lockdown is back on in some places, and the Trump Administration has ordered all COVID 19 data testing results to be sent to the Department of Health and Human Services, not the Center for Disease Control. Something is in the air.

Linda Ronstadt sings a Karla Bonoff song that could have been written about her life in 60’s and 70’s LA. On one level she was an enormously successful performer, earning millions in a very short time. But if you read some of the books written about LA music in that period what comes across is what an emotionally sterile place it actually. Relationships were as much about accommodation and real affecting and it was easy to feel, even if you were successful, worth millions, and famous, that nobody really cared. It was a perfect place to experience the kind of angst that showed up in so many of the songs Linda made popular. I think it’s sad that she was never able to create a relationship with someone that lasted. If you read her autobiography, you get the feeling that in spite or because of her wealth and fame, she was lonely. She paid a big price.

THAT face covering is not threatening at all.

I have no automatic reflex against it, like I do all the others, and I’m not sure why.

I suspect it is because the only time I have seen a face covering like that is in old Victorian-themed movies, which aren’t very high on my list.

        What is different is that:

        A) it doesn’t actually hide the face… in fact, it draws more attention to it

        B) it has no islamic aggression associated with it

        C) it has no State aggression associated with it

So I have no negative reaction to it, while my negative reaction to Nazi surgical masks and islamic face-hiders is a ’20’ on a scale of 1 to 10.

          1. I thought her face looked familiar.

The difference is that Madeliene Kahn’s part in the movie is completely detached from any political or social subversion significance.

The black woman in the China Virus propaganda above is devoid of any context OTHER THAN political and social subversion.

It’s not about the veil (or the mask).

            It’s about the compulsion.

It’s about making you do it, and for those who resist, dressing it up to make it look alluring or like a fashion accessory of whatever else they can think of to deceive women (in this case) to obey and conform and submit, by appealing to a woman’s vanity.

Who could ever have seen THAT coming? Wait until advertisers and marketers think of this… 😂😂😂

A woman at church told me that her daughter wanted to get lots of different colored masks so they would always match her outfit.

This is a classic persuasion / manipulation technique called ‘thinking past the sale’.

Like a car salesman, before you ever decide for sure you’re going to buy a new car, saying “So which one of these beauties are you taking home today, the red one, or the blue one?”

He has you imagining yourself in the car already, all you have to do is pick which color you like better…

That’s exactly what this girl was doing. She sailed right past ‘questioning’ the mask, whether she should even wear one, or the reasons behind the command to wear one, and went straight to picking out which colored masks went best with her favorite outfits…

      2. Well it certainly fits with the definition of ris·qué (rĭs-kā′) adj. Suggestive of or bordering on indelicacy or impropriety. [French, from past participle of risquer, to risk, from risque, risk; see risk.] risque (rɪsk) n obsolete another name for risk risqué (ˈrɪskeɪ) adj bordering on impropriety or indecency: a risqué joke. [C19: from French risquer to hazard, risk] ris•qué

Minimalists might approve this and the one above. But for guys it’s going to be like putting on lingerie. Do you have anything in basic mosquito netting? Preferably without the pith helmet?

            1. Two months ago I got scolded by a chicom grocery store manager for wearing something like this but the face/veil part was made of real silver mesh. Silver is a well studied anti microbial. I also explained I had a medical condition that prevented me from wearing the other kind of mask. But no, she just scolded me that I could not come back without a proper “mask” to which I loudly informed her and all those at the checkouts that I would NEVER shop her store again.

      2. Nope. Not in Germany, and I doubt the larger countries here (France,Spain, Italy,etc.).

It’s not even possible to get neosporin (Polysporin, etc.) over the counter, and cortisone cream is quite expensive.

I’d really be careful about trusting that info; the EU is REALLY strict about OTC meds, and the concept of a drugstore (combo store and pharmacy) like Walgreen’s or Long’s is completely foreign to them.

Big Pharma basically OWNS the med biz over here…

      3. Yes dispensed, but all Over the Counter meds have to be dispensed by a Pharmacist. The prices of those compared to the US are really high.

        Liked by 1 person

          1. In Germany there are three levels of access to medicines, the lowest, of course being no restrictions, as in Aspirin. Nonetheless, Aspirin and what Americans consider to be OTC medicines (Neosporin, etc.) and cold medicines (similar to Pertussin, NyQuil, etc.), allergy medicines (Allerest, etc.) can ONLY be sold at a Apotheke (Chemists), NOT in any kind of a store. You can buy them there without having any questioning by the Pharmacist, PROVIDED THAT what you are buying is not “Apothekenpflichtig” or “Verschreibungspflichtig”.

Apothekenpflichtig means that dispensing anything labelled as such is at the sole discretion of the Pharmacist (unless, of course, a doctor has prescribed it, in which case you will have a form filled-out by the doctor saying as such).

Verschreibungspflichtig means that the medicine MUST be prescribed by a Physician or Dentist, the appropriate paperwork made out (same form as for other medicines, but with additional fields, and a different color).

Violating these regulations is a crime.

I’ve been prescribed Codeine for tooth and even sinus (!) problems, but I didn’t use them. Usually aspirin does the trick, but it is FAR more expensive over here, even as a generic (think $12.00 for 100 tablets that would be $2.00 or so at WallyWorld).

Go to ALDI, LIDL, Metro, Globus, REAL, Kaufland, Edeka, Marktkauf, Müller, Roßmann (the latter two being like Walgreens without a pharmacy) and you will see NO OTC meds, let alone a real pharmacy section. NONE. Vitamins (in low doses only) and “natural” meds, again in low and regulated doses, may be sold in normals stores. Gail Combs has posted about the EU regulations on that.

You have to look for an Apotheke, which will have a sign similar to the following outside:

And here is the law itself, translated into English:

Here’s a Wackypedia article about Germany and a few other countries in Europe (sorry, it’s only available in German):

I’ve lived here for over 35 years, and travelled all through Europe, both before and after the “unification” (read: political union disguised as a monetary union). The laws in general here are much stricter, although Pharmacists have, in some cases, more discretion than they do in the USA. It’s a royal pain, but it is what it is. Bureaucrats gotta bureaucrat 😦 😡

    2. MMS (Miracle Mineral Solution) aka Chlorine Dioxide has been sold by an organization located in Bradenton Florida called the Genesis II Church of Health and Healing for many years. They have claimed it cures a list of ailments and have recently included COVID-19 as one. Just a few weeks ago they were raided and all computers, products, etc. were confiscated. Remember when President Trump mentioned drinking a type of bleach and the media went apoplectic?

There simply cannot be any other non-big Pharma alternatives allowed to cure COVID when they are working furiously on a soon to be mandatory vaccine. “Agency (aka FDA) Continues Effort to Protect Public Health from Fraudulent and Potentially Harmful Products” read here

        1. I let these “maybe symbolic” things bother me for a while, and if they still bother me again later, I call them out – but it does take a certain amount of “everything is suspect” paranoia, followed by “talking back” to 99% of it, to weed out [most of] the noise.

Bear in mind that just as purple can be an assertive, antagonistic Hillary/Soros/Xi symbol, it can also be the “non-courageous, non-political” choice of others, scared of either blue or red. DeWine’s purple tie instantly tells me more of the latter than the former. “I just want everybody to like me!” “Cream puff purple” is the least galling shade of UniParty colors. 😉

          1. Speaking of ties (can you tell I’m waiting for the appliance repairman to arrive? 😉) … the whole color symbolism thing is a little silly, IMO. Yes, there are associations…green for the Irish, orange for the Clemson Tigers, etc, etc. But, we all have our favorite colors…period… and choose them without regard to what the “message” might be.
What I have noticed recently is many more patterned ties worn by the frequent talk show hosts and guests…seemingly a deliberate move turning aside any hints of “symbolism.” A no-brainer, in my mind unless you are indeed wearing a message tie. The purple tie and and jacket the Clintons wore in the concession speech was a little too obvious!

            Liked by 2 people

            1. Exactly! Ties are a perfect “deniable uncertainty communication mechanism”! The actual reasons are anybody’s guess – the only forensics possible are to either ask or use statistics, the latter of which can only prove faint likelihoods. I don’t own enough suits and ties to be color-meaningful – and my nicer clothes choices tend to be as an accessory for my wife, so I don’t really have much message-sending opportunity, even if I wanted to do it.

So glad you’ve got your eyes on this! I have followed your site for a couple of years and appreciate so much your efforts to expose the covert and not-so-covert machinations of the elite.

My DIL, who typically poo-poos my trying to talk about anything related to the Illuminati or conspiracy theories, actually brought this whole wayfair thing up to me today, totally unprompted. Something here smells extremely fishy, and it’s gaining steam far beyond the pizza gate revelations that many normies just rolled their eye at a few years back. If busy young mommies are waking up to the hidden agendas around them, I take that as a very positive sign that The Great Awakening is going to yield the results we are all praying for.

She even shared with me some info I’ve not seen elsewhere that she saw on Instagram. Someone on there started looking into the supplier of these cabinets, WFX Utilities. They came up with a name of who owned that, and then went digging further. That name led to multiple other companies that didn’t seem to actually exist, and had really creep names and/logos as well. I saw the screenshots she had saved from that person on Instagram. If I can get to the original source, I’ll repost a link. There almost certainly seems to be a there, there.

The HIIPA act for patient privacy means no one can make you answer what medical condition precludes you from wearing a mask. Tell them it’s a HIIPA violation and get their info to report them to the authorities. That should cool their jets.

          1. 🙂

Thus far. 50/50 anyone inquires “if I have a mask “? Of that, maybe 10% ask if I have a medical. A FIRM, YES, ends the discussion thus far.

Have not had to play the HIIPA “card”, yet. Thanks for pointing it out.

With the emerging Walmart wear a mask lunacy, it’ll come up.

    1. GOOD for him! Now if some of the others will follow suit.
If that happens and the big box stores still try to impose it…we at least have the choice of shopping at smaller stores. It may well backfire BIGLY …now wouldn’t that be a shame. Heh heh
Same with colleges….let student chose between the on-line, but full tuition, colleges or in-classroom ones at smaller colleges.
The concept is called freedom to choose….seems to have gotten lost in the last few years.

      1. I do not buy at Walmart any longer. All I really got there was cat litter.
I need a new mattress topper will buy from Internet organic made in USA. I avoid anything China even my vitamins. Yes I pay more but so what?
Concerning meds is my last resort not first. In 55 years in US one time I use one time antibiotic. I keep reaching first to herbal healing the way I grew up. No Chinese crap for me.
Clothe buy American made. I pay more I watch for a sale and buy only two new tops instead four.
The Walmart’s of life are dead to me.
Sorry for the rant but I am a action person and will change to what needs to be done and salve my problems.
Sorry for my rant long already long summer. Nov. cannot come quick enough to get over this farce and continue with POTUS Trump.

        2. Well, I did live within an hour of Disney World as it was being built (yes, that long ago!)…and had the opportunity to tour the tunnels. It was actually pretty amazing and such a new concept at that time. Food delivery, trash collection, employees able to get to various venues (like our own Capitol building), emergency vehicles, The power grid, security headquarters, etc etc….all out of the public eye and without fighting crowds.
Of course, we saw what they wanted us to see…no question. And…I personally believe the “mission” of Disney greatly changed from those early years to the Dark Side (not to mention money-hungry management), if stories are to be believed.

Mask wearing isn’t some novel idea they came up with to control us

Surgeons, nurses & dentists have used them forever to protect patients & themselves.

If it doesn’t work, what’s the harm?

And if it has a 10% chance of getting us back to school, sports & life why not do it?

Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments on Catholic support for Black Lives Matter:

If someone were running for president and said he was committed to destroying the nuclear family, we wouldn’t expect any practicing Catholic to support him. What if the same candidate said he was pro-abortion? What if he said he was against school choice? What if he said he wants to defund the police? No Catholic who follows Church teachings could ever support such a person.

These questions must be raised because an article endorsing a group that supports these four policy positions, Black Lives Matter, was just published by a man who used to work at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, and now works for Faith in Public Life, a left-wing outfit. Moreover, it was published by a Catholic left-wing media outlet, Commonweal.

    1. Yeah…this is a thing with a lot of Catholics. “Whatever Father wants.” I saw it quite a bit in my home parish where a cabal – and I’m serious about that, they thought they ran the place – just went along with stuff the pastor wanted just because he wanted it. It’s still happening there even though the current pastor is a much stronger man. BUT, he goes with the bishops’ party line.

  19. Two down…second execution done. his legal team argued his dementia has progressed so far that he was unfit to be executed, but his last words expressed remorse for the pain he caused. he can’t have been that far gone.
The U.S. government carried out its second execution this week after a nearly two-decade hiatus.

Wesley Ira Purkey, 68, died by lethal injection at the federal prison in Terre Haute, Indiana, on Thursday.

Purkey was convicted of raping and murdering Jennifer Long, a 16-year-old girl, before dismembering and burning her body and dumping it in a septic pond, the Justice Department said. He was also convicted of using a claw hammer to beat an 80-year-old woman to death. He was found guilty by a Missouri jury in 2003.

“I deeply regret the pain and suffering I caused to Jennifer’s family. I am deeply sorry,” he said moments before his death, according to the Associated Press. “I deeply regret the pain I caused to my daughter, who I love so very much.”

  20. Just got done with DH’s PT session, and got informed that all patients that are being seen must be masked up or they don’t get seen. Apparently it doesn’t matter what kind of mask it is, it can be pretty gauzy. The PT person is concerned about some that are COPD, are on oxygen, and was hoping to get guidance for those patients clarified as the notification came in late last night. It’s NUTS.

  22. Feds charge ex Seattle reisdent with arson in police station fire. 2 others charged as well
A former Seattle resident is facing federal arson charges after he reportedly set fire to the police station in the six-block “autonomous” zone that protesters had claimed for themselves.

Isaiah Thomas Willoughby, 35, was arrested in Seattle on Tuesday night, according to U.S. Attorney Brian Moran.

A 2019 video posted on YouTube appears to show Willoughby participating in a council candidate forum for the city’s District 1, located due south from the city’s Elliott Bay.

Willoughby, dressed in a bright yellow hoodie, was captured on surveillance video next to the wall of the Seattle Police East Precinct, which police officers had been forced to abandon when protesters took over the area.

Willoughby was seen pouring a liquid on the debris, lighting something on fire and then throwing the burning object onto the debris pile.

  23. Moderna vaccine: side effects in 50% from first shot…near 100% with second shot…antibodies disappear in 3-4 months…vaccine pointless.
This study reveals that the vaccine becomes increasingly toxic with subsequent injections, meaning even if the fist injection is relatively well handled by the body, the second injection can be significantly more dangerous.

Notably, with other studies now revealing that coronavirus antibodies fade quickly over the period of about 3 months, the mRNA vaccine from Moderna would have to be injected multiple times, perhaps as many as four times each year in order to maintain high levels of antibodies.

But with each injection, the vaccine becomes more toxic and produces more side effects. As the study authors conclude, “Systemic adverse events were more common after the second vaccination, particularly with the highest dose…”
