Former CIA guy came back in today for lunch. He said Brennan is pulling a major psyop and to pay tf attention.

The Deep State is alive and well.

You can say what you want, comment on what other people said, and so on.

Free Speech is practiced here. ENJOY IT. Use it or lose it.

Keep it SOMEWHAT civil. They tried to FORCE fake Orwellian civility on us. In response, we CHOOSE true civility to defend our precious FREEDOM from THEM.

Our rules began with the civility of the Old Treehouse, later to become the Wolverinian Empire, and one might say that we have RESTORED THE OLD REPUBLIC – the early high-interaction model of the Treehouse – except of course that Q discussion is not only allowed but encouraged, and speech is considerably freer in other ways. Please feel free to argue and disagree with the board owner, as nicely as possible.

Please also consider the Important Guidelines, outlined here in the OLD January 1st , 2019 open thread. Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven.

Twitter Plugin and Manual Bypasses

As you can see by my Chillum tweet above, I am AVOIDING the use of bare Twitter URLs, because Twitter has figured out that it can disrupt our interaction and real-time comms by slowing down the display of our pages. And how is that done? By slowing down the response of the Twitter Plugin for WordPress – or at least on our horrible Trump Supremacist website.

Previously discussed HERE:

WARNING: Twitter May Be Slowing Down Our Site

Also discussed throughout yesterday’s open thread, starting HERE:

Twitter videos may need to be posted as Twitter URLs, thus engaging the plugin. But almost everything else can be manually copied and pasted. Screenshots of Twitter posts, hosted somewhere, can be added as URLs and visible through the Twitter plugin. Even IMAGES on Twitter, can be linked here, and DISPLAYED by massaging the URLs back into normal image URLs.

For instance, here is a screenshot of a tweet (actually a retweet):

Here it is as text:

Cari Kelemen liked
David ShoelessJoe@yohiobaseball·
But we’re not political and we don’t use our platform to influence people
Quote Tweet
Twitter@Twitter · 8h
You can have an edit button when everyone wears a mask

Here it is as a link which won’t turn into an embed (add a period at the end):

Here it is as text which won’t turn into a link (add a * at the beginning):

Here is an example of a Twitter image URL, which will only give a LINK in WordPress:

Here is how to fix it to make an image (remove ? on but save image extension and “dot” it on)

Now remove the asterisk:

ANYWAY, I want to THANK everybody who is helping to speed up our pages by foregoing the nice FAT tweet embeds in favor of lean, mean text and sexeh “bare images”!

Y’all are AWESOME.

USA Constitution Parchment

Retirement is Only a Thing Under Freedom

A very powerful realization is the following.

Socialism wants to OWN OUR LIVES. It COVETS that TIME and MONEY. It desires to TAKE that extra work we do so that we can retire and enjoy life for a few worn out, broken down, but WISE and GENTLE years.

Whether by Pelosi’s financial crisis used to install Obama and rob our life savings, or by Obama’s medical socialism with its death panels, or by a Chinese virus that steals our very lives above 60, or by Nursing Home Killer’s stealthy promotion of that virus, it’s the same thing.

They STEAL our…..

Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

We never fully appreciated just how PROFOUND this little point really is.

Have a VERY HAPPY Fourth of July, otherwise known as Independence Day.

  1. The mask psy-op here has entered a dark new phase. My elected officials are now saying that we need to make it “socially unacceptable” for people to refuse wearing the mask. Yes, those were the exact words used–”socially unacceptable”. They are straight up advocating public shaming. In addition, multiple newspapers across the state ran heavy-handed pro-mask editorials on the same date. And by “heavy-handed,” I mean they were using emotional manipulation such as “you’ll kill grandmothers if you don’t wear the mask.” The pro-public shame messaging between the government and newspapers all seemed very coordinated.

I’m warning folks here that masks are their new vector for sowing division. The mask debate has been around for months, but we have reached the point where local and state governments are encouraging public shaming of anyone who doesn’t comply. They are whipping the mask Nazis into a frenzy with their “anyone not complying will kill you” messaging and emboldening them to harass people.

      1. Q: How can we make this work for us (our side)?? How do we turn it against them??

This doesn’t have to be a loss for us.

Chuck Norris was exposed to the coronavirus. Now the virus has to spend the next two weeks in quarantine.

        1. When we were handed down an even stricter mask law this week, I contacted all of my government reps and told them that our Governor killed more people through via bad virus response than anyone refusing to wear a mask ever did. I said I’d comply with the new mask law when they investigate the Governor (I’m not holding my breath).

            1. The problem is, I don’t WANT to. There’s things about living here that are not replicated else where.

But, the mask dictate is about social control, and the government people are depending on the public’s help to shame the non-conformists in compliance. I grew up in a family of genuine non-conformists, and we can be pretty nasty in our ways.

        1. Same. I intend on printing up a helpful meme that lists why masks don’t work, and include a few websites that give studies. Will pass them out to anyone who says a word to me.

Also have been thinking about starting a gofundme to help patriots pay for their fines for not wearing a mask, in Texas.

          We must be innovative.

We had just gotten to the point where hardly anyone was wearing the face burka, and Abbott put us back to square one.

The media in Texas is backing him to the hilt. They’ve been doing a good hatchet job on his conservative opponents who got caught making fun of him and his wheelchair. Snowflake stuff, but the establishment GOP is making it a Big Deal.

      1. Howdy Wolf,

Here are some of the comment’s I’ve dredged up.

Take it with a grain of salt. He’s a former physics professor (who got fired from his university). He’s not an immunologist or an epidemiologist. He also selectively misquotes some of the studies. In the” Offeddu, V. et al” it actually says the opposite of what he’s saying. From that study a direct quote: “RCTs conducted in community settings have demonstrated protective effects of medical masks in combination with hand-hygiene and other infection control interventions.”

Note that the argument focuses on

        1. Credentials – the origin of one’s education does not determine the veracity of a proposition
        2. Employment history – Does employment history determine the veracity of a proposition
        3. Alleged Misquoting – No evidence of real misquoting provided. It is perfectly fine to quote a study in support of a conclusion different than the one the originating authors drew, in particular by citing the specific evidence in question.

These are “credibility” based responses, not factual responses.

Every study done was looking at wether or not my staff, in an icu, can use surgical masks to deal with airborne or droplet infection. They can’t, and shouldn’t. Is that the same as asking the public to use masks to reduce forward transmission of the disease? No. One assumes a medical provider entering a room with high viral load, and needing PPE that will stop them from getting it, knowing any mucus membrane exposed will create transmission. The other assumes that a thing over a persons face will reduce their ability to virally load an area. They completely different mechanisms.

I’m totally not sure what this comment is saying, or if it is in response to the first comment.

    3. It reminds me so much of Iran’s revolution in the late 70’s. It was all over the news that the ayatollah was flying back and would impose all the old religious rules. We saw a contemporary society with beautiful women in miniskirts and makeup and extravagant hairdos on TV and thought surely that will never be able to happen. It is a modern country. Now we see the women covered head to toe in black material, shapeless and void of anything personal or different from any others. This is exactly what the masks do to us. Its like we aren’t individuals anymore. People are judged for wearing or not wearing, by uninformed people. This one act takes away so much freedom and humanity and independence, the very things the country is built on and what makes it stronger than any other in the world!

      1. The thing is they are informed…just badly. Plus, almost all the maskies in my circles are teachers. They, and the people in a few other professions, like nursing, for whatever reason never question what they are told. Something about their training reinforces that. Thinking for themselves just doesn’t happen even when presented with solid logic.

        1. Originally almost ALL nurses and most teachers were WOMEN. We, as women, were TAUGHT from infancy we were inferior to men. We could work at ‘approved’ jobs like secretary, nurse, teacher. When I wanted to be a Chem Engineer, my College guidance counselor WITHOUT informing me or my parents put me into the CHEMISTRY/Teaching program instead because WOMEN were not ALLOWED to be engineers!

Secretaries, nurses, teacher… as WOMEN were never allowed to fully grow up. The BOSS was always a MAN and put any ‘uppity woman’ in her place. Women were never allowed more freedom than high schools students.

When the Civil Rights Act was being debated and the Democrats were afraid it might pass, A DEMOCRAT added WOMEN to the bill KNOWING that while a BLACK MALE might be considered the EQUAL of a WHITE MALE NO ONE WOULD CONSIDER A WOMAN THE EQUAL OF A MAN!

That type of thinking still exists for nurses and teachers, YOU NEVER CHALLENGE the DOCTOR (or principal) because he thinks he is god! And has the POWER to prove it.

      2. Their fundamental issue in Iran was, that most of the population viewed itself as being good Muslims. It was possible for any fundamentalist to ask them “You say you are a good Muslim, but how can I know this? You don’t look like good Muslims!” And they could point to the hadiths and sirah, which are as much a part of Islam as is the Koran, and say that that is how you look like good Muslims, that is how a good Muslim behaves.

It wasn’t just some dictatorial asswipe telling them they had to wear face coverings; it was their own religion mandating it. They couldn’t even argue they had a right to go around bare-faced, because according to everything they either believed, or professed to believe, there was no such right.

        Liked by 2 people

        1. Yes, some were hardline. Some were not and were not religious and didn’t care and resented having to cover up and to have their younger brother chaperone them to the store. I have come in contact with many that would call themselves Persians and that their religion is Zoroastrianiam. They escaped with their lives and while they had had a good life, were beggars traveling through countries until they found one to accept them. My point was more to the masks having a similar function to the hijab and how it implemented much more than just a covering.

          Liked by 1 person

          1. Sure, they function similarly. I’m making a (perhaps unrelated) point that doesn’t contradict yours; there is, there, an extra inducement to wear masks in their culture. The people unfortunate enough to live there who don’t buy into that culture is yet another problem.

One reason I do not want to live in a theocracy…ANY theocracy.

I’d forgotten to bring my “mind-control device” (aka mask), and got a lot of glares to which I replied the local variant of stuff it…

And SMILE because you’re HAPPY just thinking about it!

Because we’re going to remember them, and we’re going to get them 🙂

For starters, they will ALL get their heads shaved.

In the public square, where they harassed and intimidated and bullied patriotic Americans.

They will learn the meaning of the word “SHAME”, that I can tell you.

            1. I was thinking along similar lines, how fun it would be to start going around to city council meetings, and very conspicuously write down the names of every council member who supports any fascist decrees, maybe write their names on a big white board at the back of the room so they can see it, under the heading “Nazi Collaborators”.

When one of the masked Nazis asks what I’m doing, act all innocent, I’m just doing my job.

              Councilman Mask-Nazi: What job?

Me: I was hired to go to city councils and townhall meetings and take down the names of every council member or local government official who supports fascist decrees which violate our Constitution and the God-given rights of Americans.

              Councilman Mask-Nazi: Why?

Me: I don’t know for sure, but I get the impression you’re going to find out. This current war is going to be over in about 4 months, then it’s judgment day. What’s your first name, by the way? The little plack says Hon. J. Breitman, what’s the ‘J’ stand for?

              Councilman Mask-Nazi: Who hired you?

Me: that’s entirely none of your business, isn’t it?

Councilman Mask-Nazi: You need to leave these premises!

Me: No, I don’t, but I already have all your names now, so I’m going to the next burg to get their names.

              Sleep well, betrayer.

              All of you, sleep well.

Because you won’t be for long.

Maybe you can go to that website that I’ve read about to have a $50 consultation with a doctor about how to get oxygen. Go directly to the oxygen business suppliers and get their advice…they might have a list of doctors they deal with constantly to help you.
Heck, even hikers and mountain climbers use portable oxygen …how do they get it?
That’s what is so crazy about mandating the masks…it interferes with your oxygen…and how to they treat COVID patients in the hospital?….with oxygen.

              2. It’s also possible for aviators to get oxygen.

Now, you’re liable to go broke buying oxygen retail. You’ll have to score one of those machines that makes it and feeds it into a cannula for your nose.

              3. Hi Wolfie! What about one of those portable oxygen converters, like Inogen?? Would that help you??

Wearing a Mask Can Make You Sick by Jim Meehan MD, a physician.

(Polifact, a left wing political site says this DOCTOR doesn’t know what he is talking about…)

The scientific evidence does not support community mask wearing.

First, people are not handling and wearing masks properly. A mask must be kept sterile to be effective. You can’t touch it, move it down on your chin, shift it to your forehead, or throw it anywhere you want after use. When masks become contaminated they become dangerous.

Go observe how people are handling and using protective masks in the community. It’s ridiculous. Telling people they have to wear masks, especially when there is no education on proper handling and wear, is a bad idea.

Second, infected mask wearers could be increasing the severity of CoVID-19. The mask acts as a viral trap. Virus released from the respiratory system locates on the inner surface. The wearer then continuously aspirates the viral particles increasing viral load and increasing the severity of disease.
[That would go for ANY bacteria or virus your body might be sucessfully fighting off. GC]

Finally, the warm and wet environment of the masks interior becomes an ideal breeding ground for bacteria and other pathogens. Thus, wearers are increasing the potential to continuously aspirate the pathogens that begin to grow in their mask.

The science of infectious disease mitigation does not support community mask wear. Unfortunately, the psychological sciences pertaining to fear based manipulation of the population does. To that end, the mask is the symbol of fear intended to spread fear…and disease…..

      2. Wanted to capture one of my responses…

“Abbott essentially did a soft lockdown … too bad.”

        My response:

You know this already, so I’m not directing this at you so much as trying to find a better way to articulate.

The issue is being framed as “public safety” -VERSUS- “freedom”
Some people (especially platformed media types) push the “public safety” narrative and downplay “freedom”

This causes (predictably, and intentionally) a reactionary response that pushes “freedom” over “public safety”.

All of our public & social media is aligned to trigger these contentions and amplify them: Divisive.

It’s critical to recognize that “freedom” is derived from God-given human RIGHTS.

And the corollary, RIGHTS do not exist in a vacuum – every RIGHT
        implies a moral RESPONSIBILITY.

Our ability to act according to RESPONSIBILITY is grounded in our RIGHTS to act. Without rights, responsibility falls by the wayside.

The real question is not the framed false narrative discourse of “freedom -VERSUS- public health” as if the two goods are in competition AGAINST each other in a zero-sum game.

How can we support -BOTH- “public health” -AND- “God-given Human rights”?

How can we DECONFLICT these positions?

The answer to THAT is that we need to exercise BIBLICAL WISDOM.

We cannot sell out God-given human rights for safety any more than we can throw caution to the wind and go full libertarian.

BIBLICAL WISDOM – avoid the DIVISIVENESS TRAP, and DECONFLICT two goods that are being improperly pitted against each other.

Put another way, avoid the “thesis / anti-thesis / synthesis” trap and instead focus on COUNTER-THESIS

Many times the “problem” is not the “problem” – the “problem” is that that “problem” has been defined wrong.

Recognizing how the “problem” has been -FRAMED- is often the key to deconstructing the conflicting narrative.

    1. Here’s a great article on Armerican Thinker about what a HUGE FAIL masks are against a virus, in particular how most people use them. And what a truly rigorous and effective hygiene (including anti-virus) routine involves.
      COVID-19 Protection Advice from a Doctor-albeit a Dentist

      [begin excerpt]
So imagine my bewilderment in the age of the COVID-19 pandemic at all the politicians, pundits, and talking heads who’ve suddenly become experts in infection control — not to mention all the lay people wearing masks of every conceivable design and standing six feet away from others, as if six feet were some magic number. Poor sheeple — they think they’re safe, they’re following the “science,” and far be it from me to disabuse them of their imaginary sense of security.

As I was saying, I’m just a dentist — with forty-five years of studying and practicing infection control — and here’s how I see it. We live in a sea of bacteria, viruses, and Spirochetes (Lyme Disease, syphilis), a veritable Grand Central Station of pathogens, all of them vying to take us down. They’re on doorknobs and newspapers, in our air and water, and emanating from the mouths (and other orifices!) of our fellow human beings.

The other form of protection is infection control. Exactly how do dentists practice infection control, a question not one person has ever asked? This is how.

You enter a treatment room, and after several minutes of witty repartee with your patient, you wash your hands thoroughly with warm water and soap, and long enough to hum the theme song to Gilligan’s Island. Then you carefully put on a mask, protective goggles, and gloves. Done right, the patient’s protected from you, and you’re protected from the patient.

Now, here’s the exciting part. When you’re done abusing the poor patient’s molars, all your PPE is contaminated, chock-full of pathogens and bodily fluids. You throw your mask and gloves away and leave your goggles to be disinfected by the assistant who later cleans up the operatory. Because you just touched your contaminated PPE, you wash your hands again before leaving the room, this time humming the theme to Mr. Ed. A horse is a horse, of course.

And you do this again and again and again, going through boxes of gloves and masks every day, and spending thousands of dollars on high-tech goggles so there’s one pair in every room. If your dentist walks around the office with glasses or loupes hanging from his neck, he ain’t doing it right. If he doesn’t wash his hands at a sink, but instead rubs a little Purell on them, he’s faking it. I’ve probably spent 10–15% of my time on the planet washing my hands — so much so that my arm hair ends exactly where an latex glove would begin. But my infection control protocol works. I’ve treated coughing, hacking, sneezing patients for entire winters without catching a cold.

Here’s the scary part: almost no one on the street is practicing proper infection control with regard to COVID-19. No one, including me.

The mask you wear all day gets contaminated from within by your exhalations and from without by the exhalations of others. Is anyone putting on a new mask every hour? Of course not. Even the best N-95 mask is a hotbed of germs, inside and out, after just a few hours. Paper masks degrade even faster, and cloth masks and bandanas are effective only for bank-robbing. They’re literally sieves when it comes to microscopic bugs. If you wear a mask without covering your nose, consider yourself totally unprotected. And an idiot.

Same for gloves — the pair your cashier wore at the supermarket had germs from everyone that cashier serviced before you. And then the cashier handled your food! Don’t even think about what’s living on the cash register’s keyboard; that alone will make you ill.

Protective goggles seal to your face; glasses don’t. If you’re walking around in public without protective goggles, to paraphrase the old song, bugs get in your eyes. And don’t even get me started on the “six-foot social distancing rule.” It’s a made up, arbitrary distance. Someone sneezing sends droplets much farther — someone yelling, farther still. The length of a football field is probably the ideal for social distancing.

Here’s the challenging part of my screed. What most people are doing to protect themselves from COVID-19 is entirely symbolic, a Jedi mind trick played by CNN talking heads on the wary and weak-minded. You’re not doing a fraction of what a dentist does to avoid spreading infection. You can’t, let’s face it.

    1. Funny you should mention this. I’m fairly certain that somebody used a drone to clone [or attempt to clone] either my cell phone or my wife’s phone last night (night of 7/1, morning of 7/2). That fits an approved op timetable, BTW. And I had tons of overflights all day the day before – makes sense.

It’s a long story, but it’s pretty cool. Given that the other side has a huge tactical advantage on such an operation (no details), I’m fairly certain I’ve got it nailed. They worked very hard to build opsec for this.

Go back a few months. I was working on the side of my house that is directly underneath the logical place for people to try a “clone at night” operation – meaning externally visible nightstands where you expect people to park their cell phones. Problem? WAY off the ground.

Well, earlier this year, I noticed some fairly fresh, sharp gouges in the paint and wood – tiny things – clearly by metal, in a series, made at a tipped horizontal, but the series of two rows RISING, tilted, slightly curved. I had NO IDEA at the time what they could be. It didn’t look animal – it looked MACHINE. It did not look like a ladder scrape or anything natural, either. The tiny gouges were like powerful RAZOR NICKS. VERY WEIRD. Kinda funny – I thought it looked like what that mechanical bird in “Clash of the Titans” might do.

Flash forward a couple of months to today (OK – yesterday) (7/2). Exact same place along the wall, my wife finds a bunch of fallen clippings out of a tall tree that is vegetated ABOVE the house, right above where you would want to bring a drone to park it outside the nightstands. If the drone rose stupidly, THAT is where the clippings would have fallen from.

EVERY SINGLE clipping was cleanly “rough-sliced” – not razor sharp, but clearly FAST CUTS. No ripping – very clean slices, but slightly rough, somewhat sharper than a machete, but not as sharp as a good-quality kitchen knife cuts veggies.

And we’re talking WAY off the ground and inaccessible – EXCEPT BY AIR. Could not have been an animal. had to be a machine.

So yeah. Drones are a problem.

I will gladly take any advice here on stopping phone-cloner drones.

          1. Besides the burner phone, some people use Google Voice. Another cheap option is MagicJack. You can receive SMS messages to MagicJack. If possible use a really unpopular area code – for example, 469 in Dallas is an overlay originally created strictly for mobile. Traditionally all U.S. area codes had a zero or a one as the middle digit (214 for North Texas; 202 reserved for DC) so any newer codes are less likely to have been repurposed from an old landline.

According to Wictor Osweda, that’s what the Mossad does, to mess with your head, just before they kill you.

          He really believes that.

There’s some “Furniture Rearranging Squad” somewhere at Mossad headquarters, and their job is to break into peoples’ homes that they intend to assassinate, and rearrange their furniture, to give them a ‘scare’ before the actual hit-squad comes by.

Seems like it would only warn the target and give him time to increase his security about 10,000%, making Mossad’s job infinitely harder, but Carlos Thomas is saying it, so it must be true 😁

    1. This is the Gastby 1 arrival into NYC…

Here is an enlarged portion of the arrival plate. The “SOL” is the Statue of Liberty, and Manhattan Island is circled….

POTUS is clearly in a helicopter in that pic above. But this arrival, combined with landing on runway 22 at La Guardia is a lot of fun.

Start with the arrival coming from the southwest heading northeast up to the city. The last 3 navigation fixes are Renue, Apple, and Proud. Here is where it gets fun…

At Apple we’ll be at approx. 8,000, and then told “turn left and follow the (Hudson) river north, descend to 5,000”.

      So we do this….

Which means we fly right by the SOL like POTUS in this pic (above) albeit higher up but descending.

Here is the approach plate for the ILS 22 at La Guardia. The red line with arrows is the flight path…

It is a spectacular arrival and approach into NYC.

      Have a taste….

  8. I might take some heat for this, but that’s ok I’m tough.

One of the ways the left gets at us is because we can be careless with our arguments. This mask-wearing thing is a good example.

The argument FOR using masks is NOT that it PREVENTS the spread of the virus or keeps people from getting it.

The argument is that is SLOWS the spread of the virus by REDUCING the footprint of whatever comes out of one’s mouth (spittle, cough, sneeze). The argument is NOT that it is a foolproof solution or even a great solution.

The argument is that with you having one on, and my having one on, then the virus has to get past two (2) barriers in order for me to pass it to you (or vice versa).

IMHO, we do a grave dis-service to public perceptions of our side by simply claiming that “masks don’t work”, etc. WITHOUT ADDRESSING the actual argument being made to wear the masks.

Simply claiming that masks don’t work and are bad for one’s health is NOT addressing the argument for their use. NO ONE has said they prevent the spread of the virus. The claim is that it slows the rate of transmission.

And as far as I can tell, no one on our side of this debate has been DIRECTLY ADDRESSING the actual argument in favor of wearing the masks (ie. using masks does not slow the rate of transmission).

    What am I missing??

(NOTE: Earlier this week I flew a trip with a old friend of mine who is pro-Trump. I hadn’t seen him since late last year and he shared that his wife was pregnant with their first child (a boy). Thing is, his wife has a compromised immune system (some long medical terminology I can’t remember) and she was told by her OBGYN that she and her baby are high risk re: the Kung Flu. Worse, her aunt had gotten the virus in April and died from complications from it.

Naturally, my friend was now paranoid about possibly contracting the virus while at work and bringing it home, unwittingly passing it to his wife and their baby while he was a symptomatic. So he asked that we be extra careful, wipe down the entire cockpit at every plane change, and wear masks even while in flight. So what was I supposed to say? No way? Of course I was going to help him by wearing a mask and support his concerns any way I can. After all, I wanted his mind on the flights, not worrying about his home life.

Was it a pain in the ass? Yes. No question. Hated every second of it. The damn masks strings that go over your ear start to dig in where your ear meets the head with a pair of headsets on. 10-13 hours of that shit gets old REAL quick. But what else was I gonna do? Tell him no? That his new baby on the way didn’t matter to me? Hell no! I can be a jackass, as you know, but I’m not a heartless jackass.

And then I think….what if the guy or gal I’m in line with has a baby on the way, and they are high risk like my friend’s wife?

We may not like the mask argument, and we might think there is a darker purpose for promoting their use.

But that shit doesn’t matter to my friend and his wife. And they are STAUNCH Trump supporters. FWIW)

The “you will probably go along with it” was completely unnecessary, implied gullibility, and I was most definitely NOT proposing a “go along to get along” strategy.

i understand your concern for your friend, but if he is that concerned that contact with anyone will jeopardize his wife and child’s health, perhaps he should remain isolated at home with them.

    2. So both pilots pass out from C02 poisoning?😱

I get what you’re saying. Why can’t he wear the mask to protect himself if he’s worried. Masks are harmful. Why is his fear allowed to control you, possibly make you sick? Both of you in that cockpit wearing masks will not stop the virus. It will only slow, so you wouldn’t bet infected in hour 2, but maybe hour 10. Those particles will out, unless you’re using respirators. None of it makes logical sense. It’s manipulation, fear driven, playing on your emotions, to get you to comply.
Viruses, bugs, they’re all out there, they always have been. If this was instant death, things would be different. But it’s not, and we can’t be manipulated into living like this is the new normal. If we comply with this, it’ll never stop. 3rd wave, 10th wave, new swine flu, anything, anytime they want to control us. This is an evil psyop.

      1. “Why is his fear allowed to control you, possibly make you sick?”

His fear(s) don’t and did not control me. Like I said, I wanted his mind on the job, not on his home life.

Pilots have a personal checklist, for our selves, called “I’MSAFE”. Before every flight we evaluate our selves and decide if we are fit to fly or not. And we have to sign a release, that leaves the plane with other paperwork, attesting to the FAA that we are fit to fly. The statement literally says that…”I attest that I am fit for duty and can conduct this flight safely. (SIGN HERE).

If a pilot has one of these items check marked, he/she should consider not flying. Two is an almost definite don’t fly. Three or more is an absolute no-go.

        A-lcohol (or drugs)

My wearing a mask was the best way to help support my friend and get the job done with as little stress and emotional impact as possible. I had a duty to my crew, my passengers, and the millions of people I flew over to mitigate the situation to the best of my ability.

Moreover, my employer would most definitely take my friend’s side of the argument. “SAFETY FIRST” are the two words that control everything in my profession. It HAS to be that way.

None of this is emotional. It is all cold logic and reasoning.

        And so is this…

If we wear the masks, democrats lose 1/2 the battle (or more) arguing for mail-in ballots. See my Bruce Lee “be like water” analogy above.

        Think of it this way….

If democrats get mail-in ballots, we lose. PERIOD. PDJT will not get re-elected. And then we really are fotally tucked!!

If wearing the masks means guaranteeing PDJT wins re-election by killing the argument and perceived need for mail-in ballots, then by God I’m gonna wear the mucking fasks and worry about the psych ops crap later.

        1. You are actually arguing that complying with demands to wear a mask will stop the Dems from demanding mail in ballots?

They have 5,000 reasons to demand mail in ballots, and if reason 1 doesn’t work they will go right on down to reason 5,000 without batting an eyelash.

          1. I’m not arguing anything, grandma. I’m stating an opinion, same as you. I asked, REASONABLY, for some data with a very narrow focus…

…show me where the use of masks does NOT SLOW the rate of transmission.

So far, no one here has been able to do that.

It’s all “masks don’t stop it” and “masks are bad for you”…

…neither of which address the topic of this thread.

Which is precisely the point of it to begin with. \_🤨_/

            1. Have you looked for the data anywhere?

I would guess that since the virus is so miniscule that the very act of breathing would negate any effectiveness of a mask with comparatively huge holes.

Which is why the science shows masks don’t work.

Admittingly doesn’t know where I am in this thread but it seems like a nice place to ask, How comfortable would a parent be knowing the 60 yr old school bus driver is wearing a mask when they pick up the kids from school. Do you think there is a chance the lack of oxygen might impair his ability to drive the bus? Maybe even pass out?

          1. Also the brain surgery or any surgery exceeding 4hrs normally results with no surgeries by that team for several days following because of the long term effects lack of oxygen has. Has read such often lately. Point is lack of oxygen effects every one differently depending on a wide range of variables including age, health, type mask and situation/activity. Eventually lawyers will get around to litigating each accident and further limiting our freedoms if common sense is not applied.

Study shows that doctors and nurses have significant blood oxygen depletion during long surgeries, exactly what you DON’T want the with the knife experiencing while he’s slicing away at your vitals.

“While most agree that the N95 mask can cause significant hypoxia and hypercapnia, another study of surgical masks found significant reductions in blood oxygen as well. In this study, researchers examined the blood oxygen levels in 53 surgeons using an oximeter.

They measured blood oxygenation before surgery as well as at the end of surgeries.* The researchers found that the mask reduced the blood oxygen levels (pa02) significantly. The longer the duration of wearing the mask, the greater the fall in blood oxygen levels.”

No one has shown, or even attempted to show, that wearing the masks does NOT SLOW the rate of transmission.

Once again….the argument is NOT that masks prevent transmission…..and I am not looking for emotional argument.

Just the facts, please. Just the facts as it relates to SLOWING the rate of transmission.

I will assume that any lack of response to this post means no one has any unemotional, scientific facts to show that wearing the masks does NOT slow the rate of transmission…

….which, of course, is the #1 argument for wearing the masks.

(NOTE: Once again, let me say, I hate the damn things as much as I hate the reasons for them. But the virus IS real, and emotional temper tantrums and obstinance won’t make it go away)

I’m staying home, so I’m loading all you other jokers up with as much nonsense as I can! 😀

We could talk about actual OPTIMAL stuff, but no – it’s too late for that. Abbott screwed the pooch, and DeWine will follow. Time to burn it all down. I’m going to push Brennan masks until they cause a rebellion! We need goggles and gloves, too!

Buy your goggles, buddy! I’ve got a bunch of them. But I won’t need them, except to go out in my yard, which I won’t do, so my lawn can go to hell and become great for hiding in the weeds with my guns!!! 😉

      2. I don’t know that you can demonstrate that the argument for slowing down transmission of the virus is a direct result of the mask other than with anecdotal evidence. As of now, all we know is that the curve was flattened, and Dr. Birx’s scarves have been retired.

Frankly, since we’re out of flu season, the numbers are going to drop for no other reason than there are fewer people sick, thus fewer people being tested. Except that we’re testing more, for whatever reason, and more tests are going to yield more positive results just based on bulk.

And the tests have been proven to be picking up older infections of straight up corona viruses, rather than JUST the tampered one with SARS added in (which is why it’s deadly).

At this point, it’s such a cluster, that masks are more or less a pacifier in a psy-op.

I can understand your reasoning. Seriously.

      3. Makes an attempt. To answer your question one would need to know what constitutes a viral load. That answer will be variable dependent on a host of factors. Age, health, nutrition, presence of immune boosters, etc… That said, a mask is thought to stop a viral load from occurring all at once, but what is the viral load or tipping point? The supposed viral load can sit on the mask and you continue to breath more of the virus in the longer you wear it. Is it even the viral load? Might just contracting the virus and not cleaning out your system from the curd you have inside and then a circumstance, say going out to protest all day after being locked up at home for a couple months and then coming home and collapsing be enough to lower your immune defenses so that the virus can now take over? Substitute that with mowing the grass after two weeks of inactivity or running a marathon you really were not ready for.

Masks Don’t Work: A Review of Science Relevant to COVID-19 Social Policy
        By Denis G. Rancourt, PhD
        June 11, 2020

“There have been extensive randomized controlled trial (RCT) studies, and meta-analysis reviews of RCT studies, which all show that masks and respirators do not work to prevent respiratory influenza-like illnesses, or respiratory illnesses believed to be transmitted by droplets and aerosol particles.

Furthermore, the relevant known physics and biology, which I review, are such that masks and respirators should not work. It would be a paradox if masks and respirators worked, given what we know about viral respiratory diseases: The main transmission path is long-residence-time aerosol particles (< 2.5 μm), which are too fine to be blocked, and the minimum-infective dose is smaller than one aerosol particle.

The present paper about masks illustrates the degree to which governments, the mainstream media, and institutional propagandists can decide to operate in a science vacuum, or select only incomplete science that serves their interests. Such recklessness is also certainly the case with the current global lockdown of over 1 billion people, an unprecedented experiment in medical and political history."

"In a landmark study, Shaman et al. (2010) showed that the seasonal pattern of extra respiratory-disease mortality can be explained quantitatively on the sole basis of absolute humidity, and its direct controlling impact on transmission of airborne pathogens."

"The underlying mechanism is that the pathogen-laden aerosol particles or droplets are neutralized within a half-life that monotonically and significantly decreases with increasing ambient humidity. "

"To put it simply, the “second wave” of an epidemic is not a consequence of human sin regarding mask wearing and hand shaking. Rather, the “second wave” is an inescapable consequence of an air-dryness-driven many-fold increase in disease contagiousness, in a population that has not yet attained immunity."

FINALLY! Talk about burying the 'lede' 😂

"Such small particles (< 2.5 μm) are part of air fluidity, are not subject to gravitational sedimentation, and would not be stopped by long-range inertial impact. This means that the slightest (even momentary) facial misfit of a mask or respirator renders the design filtration norm of the mask or respirator entirely irrelevant. In any case, the filtration material itself of N95 (average pore size ~0.3−0.5 μm) does not block virion penetration, not to mention surgical masks. For example, see Balazy et al. (2006).”

All of this to say that: if anything gets through (and it always does, irrespective of the mask), then you are going to be infected. Masks cannot possibly work. It is not surprising, therefore, that no bias-free study has ever found a benefit from wearing a mask or respirator in this application.

Therefore, the studies that show partial stopping power of masks, or that show that masks can capture many large droplets produced by a sneezing or coughing mask-wearer, in light of the above-described features of the problem, are irrelevant. For example, such studies as these: Leung (2020), Davies (2013), Lai (2012), and Sande (2008).”

“Furthermore, individuals should know that there is no known benefit arising from wearing a mask in a viral respiratory illness epidemic, and that scientific studies have shown that any benefit must be residually small, compared to other and determinative factors.”

    5. So, here’s my question…wouldn’t slowing down the rate of transmission just drag this out for months on end?

      1. My understanding is that “flattening the curve”….or dragging it out for months….was to buy time to discover a good medicinal response as well as prevent over-crowding of hospitals and medical resources leading to a rationing of healthcare.

If BLM is protest marching and demanding the defunding of police, perhaps we should be marching demanding the release of Hydroxychloroquine.

Trump rallies were a highly effective response – they are pinpoint accuracy – no wasted carpet bombing that helps the other side.

We have to figure out how to get rallies back online without allowing the left to pull bullshit on them.

If your co-worker’s wife gets sick with covid, despite all the precautions, what then? I think he needs to research a little more about the ability of the virus to survive on surfaces. If he really wants to protect his wife from him, he should look into an ultraviolet sterilization light(s) for his foyer or garage prior to entering her area.

Singing in houses of worship banned under new order from Newsom as pandemic worsens

Californians are still free to attend their house of worship. But they’re forbidden from singing or chanting.

Updated COVID-19 guidelines issued Wednesday by the state Department of Public Health require churches and other houses of worship to “discontinue singing and chanting activities.”

The new guidelines were released the same day Newsom issued his most dramatic reversal yet on reopening the economy, calling on Sacramento and 18 other counties to halt indoor restaurant dining and close movie theaters, card rooms, indoor museums and other venues. Sacramento County’s closures took effect Thursday at 3 p.m.

Unlike the restaurant closures, Newsom said little about the new guidelines on houses of worship, mentioning them only in passing during a press conference Thursday.

  12. The Philosopher of Antifa By Dinesh D’Souza.
    (Originally The Epoch Times)
    – June 30, 2020

How we came to where we are today. Dinesh D’Souza writes,

“The typical socialist today is not a union guy who wants higher wages; it’s a transsexual eco-feminist who marches in Antifa and Black Lives Matter rallies and throws cement blocks at her political opponents.

We see it in the riots and looting sweeping the country in the aftermath of the George Floyd killing. The socialist left today is concerned less with worker exploitation by the bourgeoisie and more with the race, gender, and transgender grievances of identity politics. I call it identity socialism.

Today’s socialists want an America that integrates the groups seen as previously excluded while excluding the group that was previously included. “If you are white, male, heterosexual, and religiously and/or socially conservative,” writes blogger Rod Dreher, “there’s no place for you” on the progressive left. On the contrary, it should now be expected that in society “people like you are going to have to lose their jobs and influence.”

In other words, for identity socialists and for the left more generally, blacks and Latinos are in; whites are out. Women are in; men are out. Gays, bisexuals, transsexuals, together with other, more exotic types are in; heterosexuals are out. Illegals are in; native-born citizens are out. One may think this is all part of the politics of inclusion, but to think that is to get only half the picture. The point, for the left, is not merely to include but also to exclude, to estrange their opponents from their native land.

How did we get here? To understand identity socialism, we must meet the man who figured out how to bring its various strands together, Herbert Marcuse.

Interesting. Read this about wearing masks. Shared from a friend.

So I just wanted to share an actual personal experience I had today. I’m an airline pilot and twice a year I have to go in for a flight physical. Today was that day. When I got called back to the room, the nurse and I had an amazing convo about masks. He’s been a nurse for 29 years and he thinks they are ridiculous and do way more harm than good and here’s how he proved it to me.

He took my blood pressure and measured my O2 level without a mask.
My BP was 118/60, my O2 was 98%.

Then he told me to put my mask on.

We watched as my O2 level fell immediately to 94% and my BP started to rise. He said my heart was starting to pump harder trying to get oxygen to my organs and brain and the mask was limiting the amount of oxygen I could breathe.

We watched for only about 2 minutes. He said “now imagine making your kids wear a mask for 7 hours a day every day.

What do you think that will do you their growth, organs, brains, overall health?”

He straight up told me he would never make his kids wear masks for this reason, along with many other reasons. This was just one way he could physically demonstrate to me exactly what happens.

I will not make my kids wear a mask. It’s alarming how quickly things changed.

    Tom Guin copy & share
    [end excerpt]

There is also the study of medical personnel after hours of wearing masks, the effects of that, and the recovery time needed to get O² back to normal… certainly gives one pause…

    1. so antifa scumbag gets tested for covid and is positive…and he claims he was rioting…er…protesting with 50 people…so 51 covid cases? does he have to give names or can they recycle the cases with EACH protester? heck one riot can produce thousands of “new” cases…
and how about any store owner or neighborhood person they walked thru? count them too?

    2. I want pepple to stop just calling out the givernors and go directly after the people responsible for writing up this garbage.
      It didnt just magically appear.
They are intentionally deceptive so doxxing and confronting them is legitimate.
My county health officer was neutered after he got power mad and the county took back his authority. When the citizens really threatened the supervisors with recall, etc.
Also my county treasurer saud we are borderline bankrupt bc of the closure. That county treasurer decided to retire yesterday. Hes an R. They guy who is taking over, that I didnt vote for, is a D. The first one ever. My county is in trouble.
So, I think those people responsible for the propaganda need to be photographed and publicly called out. Hiding behind this supposed data is too easy.

    1. unfortunately, this does not address my very narrow and specific inquiry.

It is NOT a question of if the masks work or are bad for one’s health…

…the question is: do they slow the rate of transmission of the virus?

          1. It was a preliminary study that said oxygen levels fall and pulse rates increase. It suggested a more controlled study to account for other factors.

I believe that could be problematic in some cases, for both the patient and the doctor. At any rate, I hope we can find some answers to your question regarding “slowing” the spread.

  17. My apologies if this has already been posted, it’s the newest Amazing Polly video from yesterday.

I haven’t watched the whole thing yet, but I see where she’s going with it. She analyzes what TPTB are doing to us, and compares it to the Amnesty International report and definition of psychological torture.

And I’m sure her conclusion is that this entire psy-op is 100% intention torture against every single American in this country.

The people doing this to us can’t get dead fast enough.

Maxwell’s arrest could be bad news for a number of individuals including Prince Andrew. One wrinkle however is the outrageous plea deal struck by the Justice Department with Epstein that purportedly protects “co-conspirators.”

…That deal however was not lawfully executed by Jim Acosta who did a great disservice not only to justice but more importantly these victims. Ironically, the improper role played by the Justice Department in the case may actually help it now with any prosecution of Maxwell.

    Jonathan Turley@JonathanTurley
We now have the indictment. Any problem with the Acosta deal made be avoided by not just attacking the validity of the agreement, as noted, but reliance on multiple perjury counts stemming from depositions (which would not be impacted by the agreement, even if enforceable).

    Jonathan Turley@JonathanTurley
    Six counts:

Count 1-2: Enticement of a Minor To Travel To Engage In Illegal Sex Acts

Count 3-4: Transportation Of A Minor With Intent To Engage In Criminal Sexual Activity

    Count 5-6: Perjury

    1. Turley is like so many lawyers I have encountered, their job is to tell you a thousand different ways that what should happen never will.

Justice doesn’t matter (it’s not even relevant, they will mock you for thinking ‘justice’ is even part of the equation). Right and wrong don’t matter. Restitution doesn’t matter. Punishment doesn’t matter.

The only thing that ever matters is for lawyers to wrangle with each other endlessly over arcane points that titillate each other and have nothing to do with a just resolution.

If a resolution ever comes, which it won’t, because they get paid by the hour.

Apparently ‘Lawyer” means “never any resolution” in Latin.

  24. “give me free stuff or I break your windows” guy has been arrested…

Federal prosecutors brought extortion charges Friday against the man whose arrest this week sparked violence and destruction in the capital city.

U.S. Attorney Scott Blader filed the charges against Devonere Johnson, alleging he threatened to bash windows of downtown businesses unless employees gave him money.

Blader also alleges Johnson, 28, threatened to “shut down and destroy” another business unless Johnson and his friends were provided free food and drinks.

In one restaurant, Johnson allegedly brought a boombox indoors and refused to turn it down. When the owner told Johnson he donated money to a group supporting the Black Lives Matter campaign, Johnson asked what he had done “locally.”

Ultimately, Johnson allegedly told the owner “give me money or we’ll break windows,” according to the criminal complaint.

Johnson entered another bar and allegedly asked for free food and drinks or else the bar would be “marked,” according to the complaint.

“You don’t want 600 people to come here and destroy your business and burn it down. The cops are on our side,” according to the complaint, which included interviews with the bar owner about what Johnson allegedly said. “You notice that when you call them, nothing happens to us.”
