Dear KAG: 20200602 Open Thread

The swamp’s predators have been put on notice. It is now not safe to go in the water.

And now for the nitty gritty of the Q Tree 5 minute, stand up, Tuesday morning meeting version of the Daily Thread.

Guidelines for posting and discussion on this site were outlined by our host, WolfM00n. Please, review them from time to time.

The discourse on this site is to be CIVIL – no name calling, baiting, or threatening others here is allowed. Those who are so inclined may visit Wolf’s other sanctuary, the U-Tree, to slog it out.

This site is a celebration of the natural rights endowed to humans by our Creator as well as those enshrined in the Bill of Rights adopted in the founding documents of the United States of America. Within the limits of law, how we exercise these rights is part of the freedom of our discussion.

Fellow tree dweller Wheatie gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

GN 3:9-15, 20

After Adam had eaten of the tree,
    the LORD God called to him and asked him, “Where are you?”
He answered, “I heard you in the garden;
    but I was afraid, because I was naked,
    so I hid myself.”
Then he asked, “Who told you that you were naked?
You have eaten, then,
    from the tree of which I had forbidden you to eat!”
The man replied, “The woman whom you put here with me—
    she gave me fruit from the tree, and so I ate it.”
The LORD God then asked the woman,
    “Why did you do such a thing?”
The woman answered, “The serpent tricked me into it, so I ate it.”

Then the LORD God said to the serpent:
“Because you have done this, you shall be banned
    from all the animals
    and from all the wild creatures;
On your belly shall you crawl,
    and dirt shall you eat
    all the days of your life.
I will put enmity between you and the woman,
    and between your offspring and hers;
He will strike at your head,
    while you strike at his heel.”
The man called his wife Eve,
    because she became the mother of all the living.

As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome. Via con Dios.

        However a few counties like Durham were not called until the morning of the next day. Attorney Chuck Kitchen told me that 20% of the counties in NC had MOAR VOTES than adult living in the county. Many ballots ONLY had Hitlery and NC Governor Roy Cooper(D) marked. Roy Cooper had been the State Attorney General BTW so any claims of voter fraud would have to go through HIS OFFICE!

        The NC ballot was not arranged by party so it took quite some time to vote a straight Republican or straight Democrat ticket. I think this is why so many NC ballots ONLY had Hitlery and Cooper marked. If you are ballot box stuffing trying to check off all the Democrats would take forever and they just did not have the time.

        What is interesting is that the fraud was caught. However thanks to The Consent Decree of 1982 which prohibited the RNC from investigating Democrat Election Fraud nothing could be done. With the ending of that Decree (The judge finally died) The GOP CAN go after voter fraud.

        1. Two points about that consent decree:

          1. Even though it was clearly a case of legal malpractice by RNC attorneys, AFAIK no malpractice suit was ever pursued;

          2. The decree applied ONLY to RNC, not state GOP or local GOP parties yet the RNC never told those other parties that it didn’t apply to them. Instead the RNC allowed them to believe they were barred also.

          To my knowledge, no one has ever investigated whether there was a side deal between RNC and DNC attorneys. If one existed, the decree would have been voidable (like Flynn is trying to do right now).

          1. Rigging an election is a violation of LAW and of the Constitutional RIGHTS of the citizens (disenfranchisement).

            The RNC shouldn’t be allowed ANYWHERE NEAR the crime scene, or have anything to do with it.

            It’s a matter for LAW ENFORCEMENT, and the private country clubs (DNC + RNC) can take their ‘consent decree’ and shove it so far up their *&^ it comes out their mouth.

          The RNC shouldn’t be investigating rigged elections, the *&^%ing Attorney General of the UNITED STATES should be investigating rigged elections.

          The RNC doesn’t have any investigatory OR prosecution powers!!!

  5. Just got home. Apparently there was a protest in downtown Houston, 60,000. The lefty Mayor, some of Floyd’s family, NFL players, supposedly peaceful. Crowd got some cops to take a knee, even the lefty police chief. That was a mistake. Now there’s an angry crowd around the chief demanding he turn over all the footage of officer misconduct for 17 years/cases?? Police are trying to get everyone to leave. Not everybody cooperating. Saw tweets where they used tear gas?? A lot of misinformation on twister. There is a lot a lot of police downtown, has been last few nights. I pray Antifa is not in that mix. There are not shops to loot down there. If they go to various sections of town, that’s gonna be a mess and difficult to amass lots of cops in a timely manner. Houston is HUGE.

    1. This is beyond disturbing. Before Ferguson, there were shootings in the STL area. Quite a number from time to time. But never anything on the level of last night. It was mostly confined to the city itself, but amazingly widespread and in places EVERYONE goes.

    1. This is rich, adding in tweet below, but tweet above will join, don’t know how to stop that.1st vid is young possibly Hispanic guy setting off a roman candle in the middle of the intersection before jumping back into his car, but some young kid runs up and grabs the roman candle and shoves it into the guys car which causes big white cloud to come out. Vid ends with you being unsure if the roman candle stayed in the car or not. Second vid dispels any questions about that as the car is now seen in the distance, door open and roman candle clearly exploding inside the car and the car is on fire. All of this happening on a busy pedestrian city intersection.

    1. First this was a protest about the death of George Floyd. Then the peeps were supposedly so upset that they rioted and looted. Then we see the preplanning with the bricks and the extreme violence. Now we’re seeing that this is of longstanding and runs deep and I, at least, had no idea these subversives have been planning for this destruction. This is terrorism, pure and simple. George Floyd is their excuse, nothing more.

  8. This is additional information on laws that goes along with my ‘lost comments’

    Specifically this thread by Carlos:

    Where he suggest some of the rioters/Terrorists were ‘disappeared’ by federal forces.

    So yes, it looks like the federal government can do a snatch and grab, that is use the “material witness statute to detain individuals whom the government believes has information concerning a terrorist investigation” and keep them incommunicado.

    Section 802 of the USA PATRIOT Act (Pub. L. No. 107-52) expanded the definition of terrorism to cover “”domestic,”” as opposed to international, terrorism.   A person engages in domestic terrorism if they do an act “dangerous to human life” that is a violation of the criminal laws of a state or the United States, if the act appears to be intended to:  (i) intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination or kidnapping.  Additionally, the acts have to occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States and if they do not, may be regarded as international terrorism.

    Section 802 does not create a new crime of domestic terrorism.  However, it does expand the type of conduct that the government can investigate when it is investigating “terrorism.”   The USA PATRIOT Act expanded governmental powers to investigate terrorism, and some of these powers are applicable to domestic terrorism.
    The definition of domestic terrorism is broad enough to encompass the activities of several prominent activist campaigns and organizations. Greenpeace, Operation Rescue, Vieques Island and WTO protesters and the Environmental Liberation Front have all recently engaged in activities that could subject them to being investigated as engaging in domestic terrorism.

    ….Federal law enforcement is abusing the current material witness statute, which the Patriot Act did not amend, to improperly detain “”material witnesses”” and failing to provide these detainees their rights in accordance with criminal statutes. The material witness statute[14] was used prior to the Patriot Act and authorizes the federal government to arrest a witness if the government demonstrates in an affidavit to a federal district court that the witness has testimony that is material to a criminal proceeding and “”it is shown that it may become impracticable to secure the presence of the person by subpoena.””[15] Congress enacted this material witness statute for use in limited circumstances. A court may authorize the arrest of a witness who will likely flee if subpoenaed or will otherwise avoid testifying in a criminal proceeding and if it accepts the affidavit demonstrating that the witness has “”material”” information to the criminal proceeding.

    The government following September 11, however, has used this material witness statute to detain individuals whom the government believes has information concerning a terrorist investigation. It has failed to provide them their rights to counsel, an initial hearing to determine whether the individual poses a flight risk,[16] and prevented the individuals from contacting family members that they have been arrested. Most of these “”material witnesses”” have not been charged with any crime and were proven innocent.

      It is for those who are worried or who have friends who are worried. The links show fleeting glimpses of Trump’s counter to Soros tired old Color Revolution Playbook.

      The above comment is a double check to see if Trump’s Shadow Army could legally disappear and hold witnesses/low level actors so they can not alert higher ups. It looks like they certainly can.

      1. Remember there is a lot of skuttlebutt that these are INTERNATIONAL Terrorists. Think funded not only by Soros but by Iran, China and the Drug Cartels.

        That places this mess in a whole different legal realm. Think the asset confiscation EO and the military tribunal EO. Also it is a heck of a lot easier to get a warrant or permission from a judge when you are talking FOREIGN vs domestic terrorist activities.

        Actually as Michealh has said we are actually in a war but it is being fought using 4th generation warfare techniques.

    We have war anytime a black police officer shoot a white person if white people riot because of that.

    What happened was horrific in Min.and the white cop should get life.
    Not every officer is bad but listening to the mop and media one would think so.
