For the below video: “Dr Jason Fung explains the Financial Conflicts of Interests and the End of Evidence-based Medicine” Many of the people in the pharmaceutical industry & so-called medical experts, including Dr. Fauci & Dr. Birx, have massive financial conflicts of interest so their “advice” must be taken with a wheelbarrow full of salt…
Valerie is a Christian wife, mother, & "warrior". She has four grown children, including one son with complex special needs. She blogs (periodically) at SpecialConnections.wordpress.com on wide ranging & more random topics and formerly at http://www.carepages.com/carepages/JournalingForTheJazzman which was more focused on aspects of the journey her family has been through managing the needs of her disabled son, including an emphasis on their Liver Transplant roller coaster ride, culminating in his Transplant in 2013. These CarePage posts are now "archived" at https://jazzmanjournal.wordpress.com/ Valerie also archived a friend's carepages Liver Transplant journey at ChristLikeKara.wordpress.com
Replacing the carepages-styled updates is another blog
where she posts more detailed info about the ongoing journey managing her special needs son's issues & brief updates on other family matters.
Valerie chooses not to be on Facebook, but many of her family are there including all these Currens: Michael, Nathaniel & recent bride Tara, Brandon, Josiah & Clarissa. Her mother Elaine & brothers Curtis & Michael, all Stoddards, are also on Facebook as are most of their family members. Her husband's former bands also maintain a presence on either Facebook or ReverbNation.com. These bands are: Binding Faith, Harken, & the Lively Pelts.
She also recently began a new blog, PioneerPerspectives.wordpress.com where she plans to focus on some historical aspects of her personal & familial experiences with a special emphasis on churches, schools, & communities, including analyzing key aspects of each arena from a therapeutic perspective...
She is a hobby genealogist & is grateful to have discovered her mother's birth family more than 60 years after that private adoption occurred. She is passionate about Jesus, her family, Truth, & conservative cultural values. She has been through higher education in science (undergrad) & counseling (grad school) and is a Licensed Professional Counselor, though is currently not practicing. She has historically worked in leadership in churches, schools, government, & medically based arenas. She enjoys reading, puzzles, hanging out with family (& instigating conversations), supporting her husband's music endeavors (especially his Christian Rock Bands), & encouraging others.
Valerie also advocates for her special needs son who is now finding his own voice online. Check out Josiah's sites here:
