Dear KMAG: 20200511 Open Topic

This Stormwatch Monday Open Thread is VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA/KMAG/KAG world (with KMAG being a bit of both).

Yes, it’s Monday…again.

But it’s okay! We’ll get through it.

Free Speech is practiced here at the Q Tree. But please keep it civil.
Discussion of Q is not only allowed but encouraged. Imagine that! We can talk about Q here and not get banned.

Please also consider the Important Guidelines, outlined here. Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven that Wolf has created for us.

With the Storm upon us…please Pray for our President.

Wheatie’s Rules:

          1. No food fights.
          2. No running with scissors.
          3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

For your listening enjoyment, I offer this song from Valley of Wolves, titled ‘Heroes’:

For Angel, wherever he may be.

I ask you…does this guy look like he forgets what has been done to him or to his beloved country?

I don’t think so.

Let the dominoes start falling!

Wheatie’s Word of the Day:

‘Noctilucent’ is an adjective which means…shining in the dark, or shining at night.

Used in a sentence:

The noctilucent eyes of the big cat as he stalked his prey, were all that was clearly visible in the dark.

        1. I was going to order a flag mask but the mouth burka goes against everything the American flag stands for, so I choose not to do that the the flag.

I did order one on Etsy (still haven’t worn one yet) that says “This Mask is Pointless”. And I have a Trump red mask due for delivery today. They want to make this a political fight? Fine, when/if I have to wear one, I won’t be silent about it.

          Don’t Tread On Me.

Voters will no longer be able to hold their reps accountable because they gave their vote away?? Founders are rolling over at the ways she’s mussed up the House. She’s cray-cray. Unfortunately (for them) Grenell doesn’t fit the gay mafia’s political narrative.

          Bigly 😂

Just like the Left’s so-called ‘feminists’ never support conservative women or women who accuse democrats of sexual harassment (or worse). They only support Leftist women or women who attack conservatives.

The gay mafia is no different. They only support homosexuals who align with Leftist narratives or who attack conservatives.

Because the Left’s support for women is a fraud, a ruse, just like the Left’s support for gays is a ruse.

They Left just cynically uses people as pawns.

When the pawn aligns with the Left’s political objectives, the pawn is used for that reason — and when the pawn contradicts the Left’s political objectives, the pawn is ignored or attacked for that reason.

[I know everyone here knows all of that, I just felt like articulating it 👍 😁]

            1. Not to nitpick, but when it comes to planes you know I will.

The F-15E’s Pratt & Whitney F100-PW-229 engines each generate 17,800 lbf (79 kN) (dry thrust) and 29,160 lbf (129.7 kN) with afterburner.

              By comparison…

The F-4E, F, and G model General Electric J79-GE-17 engines each produced 17,900 lbf (80 kN) of afterburner thrust.

Even the early model F-15’s F100 engines were so powerful that the aircraft could accelerate through the sound-barrier….

              ….going straight up. 😮

              A better than 2-1 power-to-weight ratio.

Performance the F-4 never even dreamed about.

              Put it this way….

In 2017 two F-15 fighter jets flew from Homestead Air Reserve Base to Palm Beach on Friday night, a trip spanning about 110 miles.

Their mission? Intercept an unresponsive aircraft flying through restricted airspace above Mar-a-Lago.

Time from notice to scramble (planes on the ground with pilots in ready room) to actual intercept 110 miles away?

              14 minutes.

              THAT is power.

But, I was only talking about the noise. I mean, when we were at Pax River for F-18 testing, F-4s were used as the chaser planes. One place we lived was right under the take-off path. 6 am EVERY morning…ka-BOOM.

The 15…MONAG used to do really cool show off the plane shows at the Arch around the Fourth of July. And when they slowed the suckers down to practically a crawl…WOW that was loud…not as cool as the AV-8 making the Mississippi River throw up water spray while it hovered, but pretty cool.

      1. On the topic of the FBI…

I have dealt with the locals and I was NOT impressed AT ALL. Nasty and obnoxious is a good description. Note I was trying to give them information. We have FIVE drug dealers on my road, and I was also aware of a stolen car/drug transport ring running from NYC to Florida. NOT interested in the info at all.

So yes, Instead of trying to clean it up, BURN IT DOWN. With the current unions getting rid of the deadwood and moles is almost impossible. Best to just start over. Let them re-apply.

BTW I am most certainly not the only one who wants the FBI and C_A erased.

Now you’d think they’d choose the best to highlight but there’s been so many that they really screwed up by being lax or not interested in people’s tips or acting like keystone cops. In the end they’d somehow luck out and catch they person but I cannot tell you how many times the thought bubble over my head was ” jeezz what dumbasshoes”

Both agencies need gutting and a do-over….and if there really is 99% good guys where the hell have they been for the last 4yrs?

Think of what has been done to our school systems and universities. Why ever would anyone think the FBI and DOJ escaped the same rot? Eight years of Clinton plus eight years of Obummer with a zero like the shrub in between? AND you can not FIRE for good cause? So you are sunk.

Read Dr Judy’s Plague of Corruption. It applies throughout the US government. Are their decent people? Sure, but they are most likely to get driven out or quit in disgust.

I actually worked for a corporation who closed a profitable plant and built a replacement in another state just to get rid of the union and the headaches they caused.

Change the laws BANNING FEDERAL EMPLOYEE UNIONS so the deadwood can get fired for cause and I will change my mind.

And no, it wasn’t a single experience it was three different agents over more than one year and in one case they were LOOKING for information.

Also I worked under a retired federal government BureauRat. Worst boss I have ever had. Sneaky underhanded and more interested in playing politics than doing the job. He was actually HIDING my chemical analysis reports to sales! Luckily I knew the VP of sales and gave him a copy of my reports so when the fecal material hit the rotating blades six months later it was the Rat who got fired not me. — It was a turf war between two VPs and the Rat chose to cripple the company and deliberately tried to place the blame on me.

And then there was the USDA inspector who deliberately infected a friend’s petting farm with e-coli to help get the Food Safety Modernization act passed. I tossed that BIOTCH off my farm. I also got the lovely task of dealing with the FDA and OSHA inspectors at more than one company.

I do not think I have had one pleasant experience with federal employees. Mostly they were idiots and little hitlers. So no, it is not ONE person but several. If you toss in state and local, I ran into a couple of locals who were actually decent and that is about it.

            1. I apologize. I’m being a typical male and appealing to your intellect, not your feelings.

Ladies will always intellectually justify their feelings, even when they are wrong.

Alpha males aren’t afforded that luxury among other alpha males. And quite rightly so.

Imagine Hillary, or another woman going through menopause or the monthly curse, with her finger on the nuclear button in a tense situation.

There is a reason that glass ceilings exist, and yes, it is because of gender, as the hypothetical case above readily demonstrates. More specifically, because of the advantages and disadvantages of each gender, and that’s a fact of life, however unpopular it may be. <—— Uh oh, don’t look now, there are those darn FEELINGS again! 😡

              1. There you go again…

*You* are reacting to Gail Combs post with emotion, personal attacks and ugliness, complete with all caps and emojis.

*You* are taking a conversation/debate/discussion about the FBI and what should happen and turning it into an attack, a argument….why? Is this civil? Does it help the conversation? Is information shared?

Gail expressed Zero emotions. You expressed multiple emotions while disparaging her. Why?

Posts go back and forth on a topic … until you suddenly meltdown and attack someone v. debating the issue. Why?

Disagreeing with you is a not a personal attack unless it actually includes personal attacks. Disagreeing with you does not mean the other person is “emotional”.

You bring much value in many of your comments. You also bring disharmony and drama – not through disagreement but by making it personal and by you getting upset.

              2. Sorry, FG & C, but this is a ridiculous statement, and beneath you.

I DO NOT base my opinions on emotions, and I am 100% female.

You, however, are very emotional about the recent departure from our tree of someone you liked, and are lashing out at others whom you believe are to blame. It’s not only emotional, it’s passive-aggressive, which is worse.

Please stop. Or leave. Whichever. But don’t subject everyone here to your suppressed anger anymore. It’s just unproductive, and adds nothing to the forum.

                Liked by 3 people

              3. Emotional maturity is when a person has a stable right orbital pre-frontal cortex which allows the person to “act like themselves” even when there are stresses on their system. And, while general health is indeed a stress and unhealthy systems may fail differently depending on a myriad of factors, gender is not in and of itself a pathology.

For a gender-free example, if a person is feeling mistreated or feels that someone else has been mistreated, that could be a strong stress which in an immature person may cause them to act in ways that are not consistent with their highest and truest sense of self. They might forget that their heart has been pledged in allegiance to the High King of all the Universe and begin to mistreat others in violation of their own inner values.

                Hypothetically speaking of course.

              4. If I am guilty of that, T3, I am in plenty of good company here in our tree.

                And for the record…

                1) I don’t think Gail had anything to do with the drama Aubergine mentioned

                2) I am in fine spirits and not angry with or at anyone at present and this irrespective of other’s projections upon me.

The discussion was about “burning it all down”, which I disagreed with for the reasons stated. As usual, a few of the ladies read emotion into it, and reacted emotionally. Which, I believe, proves a point within the broader point I was making.

And no, this has nothing to do with trying to create divisions or such. Although I’m quite certain there are some here who would love to see me labeled as “Alison” and perhaps banned.

          2. OH,
And I forgot to mention the FAA. They were not at all interested in the fact the corporation I worked for was using off spec material in molding jet aircraft turbine blades. The contamination detected had already led to three aircraft crashes due to the blade fracture. Blades supplied by that company. I quit because I refused to sign off.

I’m a realist. Perfection is always the goal, but is unattainable this side of the Almighty’s return.

In the meantime, we do the best we can, knowing we will always fall short of the mark.

And then we put our feelings aside, and get objective about the job at hand.

The difference, of course, is who is doing the driving.

I am an aggressive driver, and I am very confident in my driving skills, which make me a ‘safe’ driver too, though most others would not categorize my driving style as ‘safe’.

To most people, a ‘safe’ driver is a timid driver. To me, a safe driver is a skilled driver.

              5. “Ever been in an accident that wasn’t your fault?”

Nope, now that you mention it, they only ‘accidents’ that I didn’t recover from before any body damage occurred were my own fault.

And I learned valuable lessons from each one. 👍

The first accident was the first time I ever drove by myself 😁

I went for a gallon of gasoline for the lawnmower, placed it in the passenger footwell, and it tipped over while going around a turn. I reached over to grab the gas can and didn’t look up soon enough to straighten out the wheel before jumping the curb of the boulevard and hitting a small tree, doing minor damage to the van.

One occurred in snow (Ford Escort, 5-speed, I love sliding around in snow, but I was not as familiar with the car as I should have been), and put a small dent in another car’s door.

One occurred due to hydroplaning (I never even saw the puddle), spun into a phone pole and had to replace the front bumper and get the manual transmission repaired (my right hand was gripping the gear shift, downshifting as I approached the turn both to slow down and preparing to accelerate through the turn). When I hit the phone pole, the car stopped but everything in the car kept going forward, my hand slammed the gear shift forward into 1st gear without engaging the clutch, and something broke.

I dinged a wheel when I bounced a big SUV off a curb in the snow once (I was having a blast sling the rear end around, rear wheel drive with almost no weight over the rear wheels).

And the only car I ever totaled was the result of hydroplaning at highway speed on a twisty road, just after it began to rain. I almost saved it, three times, over-correcting the fish-tail slide to one side and then the other, and then back again, down-shifted to allow the rear wheels to slow the car halfway through the 3rd fish-tail and help straighten it out… but in the heat of the moment, I forgot that it was a front wheel drive car (it was not my car).

In the middle of an accident situation, instinct (born of experience, hopefully) takes over, and all of my experience was with rear wheel drive cars.

So when I down-shifted (5th to 4th or 4th to 3rd) the engine slowed the front wheels (instead of using the engine to ‘brake’ or slow the rear wheels as intended) and the back end whipped around, ending up with the car on its side. I had slowed it down quite a bit by that point, but not enough to keep it from tipping over as it spun around and caught the unpaved roadside. I would have saved it, if it had been a rear wheel drive car.

Climbed out like a submarine, pushed it over, and drove it home. Had to go backwards up the hills where I didn’t have a running start, because 1st and 2nd gear were gone.

Each one was my fault. Only the 2nd one (hydroplaning through an unseen puddle while going through a turn) happened in my own car, i.e., a car I was thoroughly familiar with 👍

              1. The key….literally….is does the band perform most if not all of it’s music with standard tuning or drop tuning (Em).

That is the difference between R&R and what is TODAY regarded as heavy metal. Back in the day, though, AC/DC was most def. considered heavy metal…

…until bands like Metallica took over the genre. AC/DC was as hard as it got, until people heard Metallica and where like “Whoa!”.

                Liked by 3 people

              2. AC/DC began in 1973, so for me, I would categorize AC/DC as classic rock. It’s 1970s hard rock and/or arena rock.

Def Leppard started in 1977 but didn’t become famous until 1983 (Wiki), and Poison didn’t even start until 1983, so both are in the 1980s bands category (for me).

The website classified the 1977 album Highway to Hell (AC/DC) as:

                Album Rock
                Arena Rock
                Aussie Rock
                Hard Rock
                Heavy Metal

Yup. I do look at the numbers, and they remind me of those wonderful early days when we all took pride in those increasing numbers.

But I also look at some of those early posts, with 30 or 40 comments, and remember that feeling damn good, too. It was a small, but wonderful club back then. An uncrowded boat that was pretty magical.

I want to go back to feeling good about stuff here. And I think that’s going to happen, too. 😀

I am putting out the flames of division here, and I hope that Marica and Daughn will do the same, so that it has on place to land in WWG1WGA. That’s how we WIN!!!

    1. From that Daily Wire article:

“A source with knowledge of the matter told The Daily Wire that the list has already been declassified and now it’s on Attorney General William Barr to release the list.

“Grenell, who remains the U.S. ambassador to Germany along with being the acting DNI, visited the Justice Department last week and brought the list with him, according to the official.

“His visit indicates his focus on an issue previously highlighted in 2017 by skeptics of the investigation into the Trump campaign’s contacts with Russia, specifically allegations that former officials improperly unveiled Flynn’s identity from intercepts of his call with former Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

“Fox News reported in 2017 that the disclosing of Flynn’s identity could be ‘a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison’ because rules state that if an American with Constitutional protections is collaterally caught in such surveillance, his or her identity must be protected.’”

Wolfmoon1776 – what worked for you to get pasted this point or at least get your relief?

      Liked by 8 people

      1. Here is what worked for me…..

DITCH THE INHALER – it just makes everything more unnatural – side effects – dryness – yuck!

MOISTURE is the lung-fixer – breathe through nose – avoid mouth breathing & dry lungs

Hot teas, breathe vapors, especially ginger-turmeric, black, green – several times a day

Occasional guaifenesin if things get bad and lungs need moist cleaning (teas better)

Calcium-magnesium-zinc supplements (Nature’s Bounty) spread out over the day, 2-3 tabs

Magnesium is the vasodilator that I think helps fix the lung capillaries and endothelium

Zinc helps ward off viral activity and keeps lungs clear

Maintain quarantine, wash hands, NO MASKS (activates hypoxia), don’t touch eyes, face

        Gatorade for potassium

Green tea to make zinc work better

Multivitamin with 100% on metals, including zinc and iron

Occasional but not every day vitamin C (can interfere with zinc)

Red meat regularly but not too much, plenty of iron/zinc veggies, salmon

        EXERCISE daily outdoors

BTW, recent article in SCMP says they’re planning an invasion of Taiwan…Just as Kansas and POTUS are pressuring WHO to recognize Taiwan. Remember they were 1st to report H2H WuFlu transmission on Dec31 to WHO which they ignored. China keeps doubling down with nasty rhetoric attacks on US. Taiwan Ambo said on Martha he thinks they’re looking for a war w/them to change narrative. I’m thinking they might want one with us too. Why else would they be trying to hide the effectiveness of HCQ?

[They] want us to be lung damaged.
[They] want us to be weakened…and less able to fight them.

But [They] have underestimated our determination…and how fiercely our defiance against their tyranny…motivates us to the point of overcoming the damage!

  20. Current TN situation:

    TN Stats

Look at many of the rural counties … hundreds and hundreds of tests for a handful of positives

What some Conservative Tennesseans are saying about the TN shutdown

A social media post by a conservative Tennessean being shared with other Conservatives:

“Many of my fellow Tennesseans Voluntarily cooperated with the Trump Admin CDC guidelines for first 15 days to Slow the Spread/Flatten the Curve and then continued to do so for another 30 more days. We understood that measures needed to be taken to slow the spread, flatten the curve and give time to the medical system as well as the federal, state and local governments to get a handle on the situation.

That time has come and gone. It is now time to remove the restrictions and allow Tennesseans their full freedom … unless a sudden spike of infections that realistically trends toward infection rates that will overwhelm our local health systems &/or cause essential services to be affected due to a high rate of employee illness. Again, if such events occur (confirmed by factual data), Tennesseans will show why we are called the Volunteer State and will again cooperate with mitigation efforts until the infection rate is again under a certain threshold.

Tennesseans do not and will not stay “shut down” because some are trying to create an alt reality in which we can contain the virus &/or a reality in which all are 100% “safe” from the virus. That is not realistic and it creates more death and destruction that it saves.

Tennesseans are demanding a balanced approach. We voluntarily followed President Trump’s request to follow the CDC recommendations so supplies could be bought, equipment manufactured and disbursed, testing created, distributed and systems set in place to mitigate the rate of the spread of the infection. We can not stay locked down indefinitely for an unrealistic goal of Zero infections and Zero infection spread as some in the media and the political left advocate.

We realize Governor Lee is trying to find a balance between health concerns for Tennesseans – but Both shutting down and opening up cause negative health effects. Recognizing the negative effects of the prolonged shut down and ensuring that those negative effects inform his decisions are necessary.

Additional concerns focus on the are the legality of the shut down. Few question the initial legalities as we Voluntarily cooperated in an emergency. But what constitutes an emergency? Is the virus itself an emergency? If so, will all flu seasons going forward be counted as an emergency? Or is it the rate of infection coupled with the healthcare system’s inability to handle large numbers of infected patients that were initial causes for concern?

We can not let the virus itself be deemed a cause for a perpetual state of emergency. We must realistically accept that the virus is here and learn to go forward with new health & hygiene habits now that the healthcare system is equipped to deal with the illness.

As individuals, we can make our choices to limit our public interactions or to wear masks, etc. The time for emergency actions and emergency governmental control has passed unless the current total of infections &/or hospitalizations rise to the point of crating issues as mentioned above.”

In our home and family, we are choosing to exercise great caution and I am encouraging friends to do so as well…by their own, informed choices. I am not against any of the recommendations – we are actually doing most if not all and were doing them Before the gov recommended them by our own volition. And yet I fully support the above Tennessean’s statements and protests, etc., to Gov Lee.

Interesting that much of my posts here toward masks, for instance, are my “private” views, the views I express to friends, v. my public stance and the position for which I advocate publicly in local politics. My views on what I think we should do as persons, as individuals, are separate issue from what I think government ought to do and my opinions on current gov actions.

Also, in total agreement and support of President Trump, and to a lesser degree the CDC and other fed gov as they are not 100% in sync, I supported shutting down in the early weeks as we did not want overwhelmed medical systems, people dying due to lack of care and essential services being affected due to large numbers of ill employees as we saw in Italy and then, to a much lesser degree, in NYC.

But pros/cons changed as time passed, as the Trump Admin accomplished tremendous things regarding supplies, equipment, testing, testing systems, etc. & as local/state gov and healthcare companies prepared.

Now, public policy (which can be very different from what we do in our private lives and what we recommend to our friends) needs to shift as we have new realties of preparedness for WuFlu and just because we can only stay shut down for so long before the we die of the cure v. illness. Pick our poison and live it. Or, put more positively, pick the choice that offers the least negatives and the most positives. Weigh the options and own the downside.
