20200427: Back to Work – MAGA ON! Kickin’ CoVid and Dems to the Curb!

Are you sick of the commercials? OMG, the advertisers are trying to depress the entire nation!! The only establishments which ever closed in our community were the retailers and our corner gym, and I didn’t realize any inconvenience until Big T needed a new pair of shoes. Over the last six weeks, I still can’t find a parking space downtown, and even though school is closed, there is no difference in kids riding bikes or people walking dogs on the streets. Our state begins “opening” tomorrow, but I’m not sure it was ever closed.

This thread will still serve as all things related to CCP Flu, and the WH Daily Presser, but we’re beginning to focus more on GOOD NEWS, looking for green sprouts in our economy, evidence of “smashing the curve”, better results and wider distribution of therapeutics, and bigger than anticipated herd immunity.

America is ready to go back to work! We have a Three Phase “guideline” Plan. The citizens are restless, Dem Governors and the media appear more and more desperate. There are at least a dozen state protests scheduled in the next week. Random power grabs by some Governors are not particularly well-received….

For our newcomers: The Q Tree community has been diligent in covering the threat of Coronavirus, COVID19, Wuhan FLU. We started accumulating information about this virus in mid-late January, in what became almost weekly threads. We’ve been weeks, if not months, ahead of MSM outlets to vet rumors and other medical papers, etc.

Primary Update Links:

In our past weekly threads, we assembled information on the following:

  • Primary update links. The dashboard from Johns Hopkins which counts “official” cases all over the world, the CDC, and WHO, and includes the links for our past threads.
  • Hard Data Medical Information- Explanation about testing, reliance on China for drugs, analysis of NE Journal of Medicine results and other published papers.
  • Vaccine and therapeutics (new/old drugs to alleviate symptoms) news and updates
  • Trump Administration response (the timeline and links to various agencies)
  • China Responses, timelines, research, attempt to cover actions, or secrecy in results discovered.
  • An aggregate of info/responses from other countries, listed by country.
  • Economic impact from around the world. A change in economic activity will indicate a “return to normal”.
  • Speculation/debunking on how the virus started
  • Media Bias, political response, and debunking section, like the article from AP News, overt bias from Politico, inflammatory headlines, etc.
  • Other medical info to boost immune system, herbal remedies, ways to keep your house clean and NOT spread the virus to others. Excellent information to incorporate into daily lifestyle.
  • Hard links for OTHER valuable sources/blogs and a brief sentence or two about what they provide
  • Other news items

Our weekly updates. timelines, collection of valuable information, can be found here:

Please try to keep your sense of humor during this National Emergency, and remember, patience is a virtue.

Love to all! Blessings to those suffering with this disease and those who have lost loved ones. A hearty thank you to the healthcare workers, first responders, stock clerks, cashiers, truckdrivers, farmers, and those who keep our supply chains running.

Side-eye/Stink eye!!!

    1. Smooth as silk.
Got ya questions are returned with ease with a positive reply.
Unlike our President who has some (understandable) visible distain for the ‘press’.
      Great balance, great team effort.
Tonight was a ‘take no prisoners’ event.

  1. New report about Russian interference in the election and NO POLITICAL BIAS.
    Do you accept this assessment.
Trump brushed it off, have not seen the report.

  2. Question
How can you expect to be elected when we’ve lost more people than in the War XYZ…….

Trump, Yeah, we’ve lost a lot of people, that is true. We did see estimates of 2.2 million
    Again empathetic.
We’re lapping the world on testing.

    That was it
    Short and sweet.

Pres. Trump kept his cool, was not fazed by them, and showed great confidence. I hope it’s partly because he knows some exciting things are coming.

    New announcement from WHO

      * Too bad that with no anti-body immunity there is no working principle for vaccination

      There people are stupid.

      1. Antibodies are exactly how plasma therapy works.

WHO is a propaganda outfit and should be sued out of existence….along with the UN which is a waste of valuable NYC real estate.

          1. Remember – WHO told us there was no evidence of ‘human to human’ transmission???

They lost all credibility with this. In fact, they gained culpability and prosecutabliltiy.

    1. This from the website.. ( recovery only with a vaccine)

There are three phases of reopening:

Emergency Response – Where we are now
Stabilization – what ReopenDC will focus on, which involves relaxing restrictions but closely monitoring and quickly responding to negative metrics
Long-term Recovery – How we find a new, more resilient normal. Likely started once a vaccine is widely available

      1. If they haven’t yet, the WH needs to take every bit of authority at the news briefings away from the WHPC, and reestablish those briefings under full WH control. Sure, the Presstitutes will scream, but the public is wise and see that order, decorum and fairness are maintained by the WH.

    1. Note: Legally, “The File” actually belongs to the patient, not the hospital or doctor.
Advise your friend to start picking up the file to read, BEFORE the doc and nurse come in.
They get really itchy about it.
      THEN, fire the doctor.
Demand the HCQ, Zpack and Zinc. ASAP

      1. Yes. Been there, done that.
The medical staff HATES it when the person who has the patient’s Power of Attorney politely insists on seeing EVERYTHING on the electronic chart and having items explained.
Also have been in the situation of having the family attorney call the attending MD and have a “chat” with him/her.

        1. It’s just as bad when you hear a patient’s medical history (your sister) and the nurses give a diagnosis that was not the patient in question’s but yours.

          Been there. Done that.

“This would have come from your pediatrician’s office.”

Well, yes, but the one on the bed over there never had a back X-ray. I had them every six months for years.

I don’t know that that’s been straightened out.

        2. You can check out any patient “against medical advice” as long as you have medical power of attorney.

The solution to your issue before these idiots lose YOUR wife is to get doing the research and find a facility that will treat her the way you want even though she will be an A.M.A. transfer. Once you find it, hire an ambulance to come and pick her up (if she’s too sick to walk out) and take her to the new facility.

I have done this several times and the threat usually causes a ‘come to Jesus’ understanding among the med personnel. At which point you have to decide whether you can trust people who were willing to let your wife die instead of taking AND AND ALL measures to try to save her.

Possession of a medical license does not guarantee even minimal competence.

      2. Right To Try has been passed and even before that patients had rights to ask for meds and to get treatment.

Zinc supplement from local Whole Foods/equivalent if possible, right? That would help even without the HCQ, right? Although not as much without the HCQ. IDK

    2. Thank you for all of your responses.

However…my friend is himself under quarantine, AND the hospital does not allow visitors in any case, so no chance of getting at her charts. He also does not feel competent to understand them in any case.

For reasons he didn’t specify (he’s got a lot on his mind), he doesn’t think he can simply fire the doctor.

Update: Her situation has gotten worse, she’s in ICU on a bypass machine and will be getting the platelet transfusion therapy.

  4. Whatever it is that they’re building up for, with ventilators (which apparently make China virus worse) and ramping up testing capacity (for a China virus that is waning and will be gone with Summer), they’re not preparing or working on China virus.

All of this capacity must be preparation for something else, either something currently underway or something which has been threatened.

    1. President Trump won’t allow the US to get caught flat footed with another ChiCom virus, including return of CAV.

President Trump seizied the opportunity to establish significant emergency stocks…much should have been in place years ago. The testing capabilities being surged are really quite amazing. Me thinks paradigms have been broken. Allow private companies to be creative and surge, WITHOUT heavy handed Feds stymieing progress with burdensome over sight. Feds established the goal, private industry creates solutions and delivers.

And, I think ChiComs have played the US, played Countries around the globe in the worst way…EVERY BIT OF IT INTENTIONAL. ChiComs don’t give a rats ass about their people suffering or dying. Their economy was badly damaged by all of the rightful actions President Trump took over the past three plus years. ChiComs released CAV and hid it, while manipulating WHO over the weeks, months…

  5. Michigan Meanderings

Today Gov. Whitmer declared openly her intention to pursue Mail-In Voting, even for the May election coming up. She is asking for a 28 day extension of her emergency powers from the MI legislature that is to meet later this week. She claims she has all the powers she needs regardless of the legislature but needs the emergency power extension to “protect” workers from liability. The economic recovery team also presented plans for staged reopening of the MI economy. Currently “Stay Home Stay Safe” is in effect until May 15. Friday she allowed golf, motor boating, & travel to second homes/cottages. Today she’s opening up construction & other outdoor enterprises…how generous doling out our freedoms to her serfs…spit!

Heard Trump’s remarks today but both TV & radio cut off when he was about to have others come to the podium. On radio, caught Mitch Album “fact checking” the president & declaring it was his duty/responsibility to point out any errors by POTUS. He claimed Trump lied by saying that we/US had done more than twice the CV testing of any other country–MA claimed that Russia had done more than 3 million CV tests & we had only done like 5.9 million.

On the TV news there was a “doctor” quoting the fallacious VA “study” & the graphic put up claimed that like 28% of the people of HCQ died. I was pretty pissed off knowing what is well known around here about this huge distortion of info. Another station was touting the FDA warning against using HCQ but only saw the teaser…

Husband & son’s remaining co-workers returned to work today (I think their business got one of those PPP loans) & now they have to wear a “mask” when outside of their own work area. Some of the returnees were fairly paranoid about the health concerns. Work is rather slow as husband, who’s a buyer, waits on “approvals” from customers so they can get on with the requested jobs. Lots of approvals are pending, likely because customers are uncertain of their own financial situations so don’t want to authorize large expenditures even for these needed repairs.

Hubby thinks that the MI legislature Won’t give Whitmer an extension of emergency powers–I hope he’s right!

I got out & about for the first time since lockdown. Took the kids to wish my parents Happy Anniversary in person for their 58th! We stood outside on their sidewalk & parents stood on their porch in freezing Winter-like winds & conversed for a while. Mom kept apologizing that they couldn’t invite us in. When a neighbor came out to his car she pointed out that we were observing social distancing…It was fairly surreal. I haven’t yet asked them if they are planning to head Up North to their Cottage for Memorial Day, which is the tradition…hmm…

While driving on that trip I saw a school playground “closed” using yellow caution tape. Few cars were on the road. We saw a police car blocking an intersection for no obvious reason & she waved us through a red light. We tried to drop off some bank deposits using the “night depository” machine, but that was now not allowed, though the adjacent ATM was still “approved”. This means someone has to wait in line for a teller to make these deposits now, such a hassle. We went to another bank branch to see if they still had the depository available (they didn’t) & opening the door to the lobby where the ATM was located caused a brief police like siren to sound–bizarre.

Driving around it felt like we had to be prepared to justify even why we were on the road as relatively few people were out & about. Gas in my parents’ town was $1.179 while by us it’s $1.439…& that’s less than 10 miles apart.

Hubby is considering a weekend trip to the hunting shack, probably taking the kids & dog. They may try to get some firewood in since the supply is Very Low & there are 2 “cabins” to heat (these are one room tar paper shacks with outhouses & hand-pumped water). Kids & dog will be thrilled & maybe the hunters will even get some scouting for deer potentialities & target shooting in.

Daughter Clarissa has gotten a couple “shifts” in working with her special needs brother finally & they are going well. Her boyfriend just finished finals for U of M Dearborn while she still has another 3 weeks of classes to go. Her restaurant job is still on lay-off but she isn’t going to apply for unemployment (she’s afraid that she’d forget something important w/ADHD & doesn’t want the hassle), so at least some pay for her “staffing” w/ Josiah should help. She recently wrote a song on her guitar, has been reading & doing puzzles, & has concocted some amazing stuff in the kitchen. Her crowning achievement garnering rave reviews was a yellow/butter cupcake that she hollowed out to pipe in a whipped cream raspberry filling & frosted artistically with a fresh lemon buttercream frosting. She thinks it’s the best sweet she’s ever made & her brother, who is a lemon addict, was bowled over saying it’s the favorite thing he’s ever eaten!

Brandon, Josiah’s twin, has been supporting a friend of his who’s going through a challenging time. He’d been dumped by his girlfriend just before the lockdown scenario went into effect. His job went on hold & he’d recently decided to lay off alcohol. He asked B to go along with a diet & exercise lifestyle change program as an accountability partner so now B is charting food & water intake, his exercise minutes, & his reading. He’s also done a number of store runs for us & as the major freezer organizer is the go to person for finding what’s needed at home. He still gets out & about, mostly outside, to interface with friends doing mostly athletic stuff.

Josiah has done a bit of cooking to help out around home. He’s usually keeping the kitchen in top form between dishes & cleaning. He’s gone on a number of exercise outings with the sibs & that’s been good to get them all out of the house so hubby & I can do our own thing. Today he went with his regular “staff” to visit his girlfriend/fiance (& her family wan’t going to let them be together face-to-face until lockdown was over) & they had him get down on his knee to propose properly & got it all on video! He was pretty excited & thankful to get some time in person with his precious Rose! He also participated in a conference call prayer time with them & church members.

We’ve still been having challenges in getting all of Josiah’s meds sorted out. I spoke with the pharmacist in person at the drive-through & she said that this CV thing is not nearly as bad as the flu usually is. They stopped having customers sign paperwork upon med pick-up due to CV so I suppose there is the possibility of easier to cover up fraud. Thankfully the doctor’s office finally followed through on some med stuff so was able to get Most pills…

Our 2 currently working guys are sometimes making lunches to take to work & saving time & money on their lunch breaks. On Friday their boss bought Jimmy Jack’s lunches for the skeletal crew, which was a nice treat. It’s possible that this month they might make their “goal” & get bonuses again & we don’t know if they’ll have to split those bonuses with the people that weren’t there to bust their butts to create that achievement.

My husband is really missing band & worship practice but doing A Lot of bass work on his own. He’s been pushing himself to learn new techniques from online tutorials. It’s helping him not go Too crazy with the lock-down as is his “face-time” style Bible study encounters with a small group from church…

Well Best Wishes & God’s Blessings to All the Wonderful Q-Treepers!!!

We did see his “Ernie” play, based on Detroit Tigers legendary announcer Ernie Harwell, “aaaand it’s Looonnng Gooonnne!” & it was very good. He’s got a couple new agey books out that seemed to have done pretty well. He is very generous to Metro Detroit but he’s Not even close to conservative, unfortunately…

    1. SD: “The U.S. Department of Justice, Attorney General Bill Barr, has issued a memo (pdf here) citing a needed balance between COVID-19 mitigation efforts and U.S. civil rights under the constitution.”

      ______________

The misuse of ‘civil rights’ is like fingernails on a chalkboard.

They are NOT ‘civil rights’, civil rights are inventions of government, separate and apart from our God-given rights which are recognized and guaranteed in the original Bill of Rights.

The term ‘civil right’ never appears in the Constitution OR the Bill of Rights.

Our actual “rights” come from God.

      ‘Civil’ rights come from government:

      ……………………
Where Do Civil Rights Come From?

Most laws guaranteeing and regulating civil rights originate at the federal level, through federal legislation such as the following laws:

      • Age Discrimination Act of 1975 – Prohibits discrimination on the basis of age in programs and activities that receive federal assistance such as educational programs, health care services, housing, welfare, food stamps, and rehabilitation programs.

      • Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) – Prohibits discrimination against job applicants and employees over the age of 40 in terms of compensation, advancement opportunities, and other employment conditions.

      • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) – Prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability (real and perceived) in employment, state and local government, public accommodations, commercial facilities, transportation, and telecommunications.

      • Civil Rights Act of 1964 – Far-reaching legislation prohibiting discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin in the areas of employment, education, voting, and public accommodations.

      • Fair Housing Act (FHA) – Prohibits housing discrimination on the basis of race, religion, sex, familial status, and disability.

      • Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 – The first disability civil rights legislation passed in the United States, it prohibits discrimination against disabled people in programs receiving federal financial assistance.

      • Voting Rights Act of 1965 – Enacted to address Jim Crow laws in the Deep South and other barriers minorities faced when trying to participate in elections; key provisions of the Act were removed by the Supreme Court in 2013.

      .

“Civil rights also come from federal court decisions (such as those handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court, including the landmark Brown v. Board of Education decision).”

      https://civilrights.findlaw.com/civil-rights-overview/what-are-civil-rights.html
      ……………………..

Any so-called ‘right’ which comes from government or courts can LIKEWISE be taken away by governments and courts.

They are FUNDAMENTALLY DIFFERENT from our God-given rights, which government neither gave, nor can government take away.

Our natural God-given rights PRECEDE the Constitution and the United States government.

Civil rights only exist BECAUSE OF the United States government.

If the United States government ceased to exist, so would any ‘civil right’ established by that government.

But our God-given rights would and do exist, regardless.

  7. They are trying to put Dr. Raoult in JAIL!
First article addresses it. But, the article further down explain how Dr. Raoult understands CRISPER, and how it is used in “mutations”.

ANSM wants to fire Professor Didier Raoult!
    Saturday, April 25, 2020

ANSM, like INSERM and Gilead, want the skin of Didier Raoult.
The ANSM prefers to hire this month Artur Summerfielda, a veterinarian (sic!) Specializing in the immune system of pigs, appointed by Alban Dhanani, assistant director in charge of vaccines at the National Medicines Safety Agency [ 1 ] .
The Covid-19 crisis shows the destructive ideology of your policies as well as that of the health institutions of our country.
Considering the sums of money involved, it takes all costs to transfer the professor from Marseille for the general vaccination agreement between Macron and Bill Gates to be realized.

Dear Censors, you have lost public opinion and you cannot regain it by threatening Professor Raoult with suspension by the Order of Physicians.
He makes fun of your stories of cash and corruption, unlike you, he treats and does not bear responsibility for death by organized shortage.
What displeases you in him is his indifference to lobbies and sirens of glory and as a professor, researcher and doctor, he cares while you polish your low pants on the leather armchairs of the circles of initiates who have done nothing in their lives other than lying and earning dirty money.

Regarding the “illegal clinical research protocols” which are attributed to Didier Raoult, what about the scandals of the Pick, Depakin and other drugs approved in the so-called compliance with randomized trial protocols?

A law that you have passed relates to the reform of “Personal protection committees”. These committees ensure that any research project relating to human beings respects various measures (medical, ethical and legal) aimed at ensuring the protection of the people who will participate in this research.
But in this case, at the Marseille IUH, ” … as regards access to treatment with hydroxychloroquine outside a research protocol, […] any doctor, within the limits set by law and given the data acquired from science, is free from its prescriptions. It is therefore the responsibility of each doctor ” [ 2 ]. The emergency went to care, the sick suffered and died, not to research which is a long time.

The problem goes beyond Didier Raoult’s anti Covid 19 protocol, in fact it thwarts the CRISPR method (the scalpel of the genome) with its discovery of the giant bacterium which uses the immune system and gives 4 times more success (see below) below the stakes in question) and at the same time will remove the billions that you wanted to pocket on the back of the sick.

The National Council of the Order of Physicians, in a salty statement, called to order the authors of “illegal clinical research protocols” and “prescriptions without MA not justified”, a badly disguised allusion in the direction of Professor Raoult , hit head-on by a suspension.

    Who wants Raoult’s skin?

The P Dr. Raoult could soon be suspended by the Medical Association for “clinical research protocol illegal”. The world’s largest expert, suspended. Why, for whom, by whom?

The National Council of the Order recognizes without embarrassment, “the absence of a specific therapy”: there is no treatment. Good. We knew it, every laboratory in the world was looking for one, frantically.

But he adds – I lose my head – that therefore, and because there is no treatment, “doctors must be an even more reliable benchmark for patients”.

Third, Raoult treats, but according to “prescriptions outside of unauthorized marketing authorization”. Fourth and lately, the Council of the Order prefers to enhance its “benchmarks” – doctors who do not treat – than one who treats, but is not a “benchmark”, because it deals outside regulatory standards.

In its very severe press release, the Ordre des médecins concludes on a barely veiled threat:

“The endangerment of patients, if it appeared that it could be caused by treatments that have not been scientifically validated, could justify referral to the Director General of the ARS (Regional Health Agency) to request an immediate suspension of the activity of these doctors “.
    https: //www.conseil-national.medeci …

    Immediate activity suspension

The Council of the College of Doctors threatens Prof. Raoult with immediate suspension of activity, because his clinical trials “do not respect official procedures”, and he risks up to a year in prison and 15,000 euros fine.

As a reminder, Prof. Raoult presented Emmanuel Macron with the results of his work on 1,061 patients.

Almost 92% of patients healed in ten days,
Almost 5% of patients healed “late”
Less than 5% of “patients with complications”.
Or 31 patients hospitalized for more than ten days,
    10 transferred to intensive care,
and 5 deaths. On 1061: do your accounts and compare to the rest of France…

The abstract and summary table of the data in our article on the treatment of 1061 patients are online!

    – Didier Raoult (@raoult_didier) April 10, 2020

The first reaction of the simple man that I am, in the delusional French context that I observe from afar, is this: Raoult heals while the profession flounders. She has no response, no treatment, adding the humiliation of the mandarins to the resentment of the rascals. In short, Raoult must be suspended. It is urgent: it risks treating even more people.

Giant viruses use an “immune” defense close to CRISPR

    By Marc Gozlan

Marseille researchers have just discovered in giant viruses a defense mechanism similar to that used by bacteria against intruders, CRISPR, which has become a fabulous tool for modifying the genome.

    Mimivirus

ANTI-VIRUS. Giant viruses, with a diameter greater than 0.5 micrometer (0.5 thousandth of a millimeter), are easily visible with a simple optical microscope, unlike other viruses. They can be infected with parasites called viriophages. One of them, named Zamilion, was identified in 2014 by the team of P Dr. Didier Raoult of the University of Aix-Marseille (Inserm / CNRS).

    These viruses that infect viruses

This same team reports today, in an article published in the journal Nature, that a category of giant viruses, the mimiviruses, use a defense mechanism against the Zamilion viriophage which is very similar to that of bacteria and archaea. (also called archaeobacteria and which are unicellular microorganisms). They use the CRISPR system to defend themselves against bacteriophages (viruses infecting bacteria). Marseille researchers then discovered, by analyzing the genetic sequence of 60 mimivirus genomes, that mimiviruses have a similar immunity mechanism vis-à-vis viriophages (virus infecting viruses).

CRISPR, bacterial defense system and fabulous genome editing tool.
Let us recall what is the CRISPR system, widely publicized since it has been exploited by all the large molecular biology laboratories to “edit” the genome, in other words to rewrite a DNA sequence, whether for example ‘introduce a mutation or correct a genetic defect.
The CRISPR-Cas9 system for (Clustred regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats-Cas9) was discovered in 2012 by the Frenchwoman Emmanuelle Charpentier and the American Jennifer Doudna. It allows living cells to cut DNA at a precise position. The targeted sequence can then be modified with unprecedented simplicity and efficiency.

Originally, the CRISPR-Cas9 system was identified as a defense system for many bacteria and arches against microorganisms. When a bacteriophage infects the bacteria, it injects its genome. The bacteria is able to digest the genome of the invader into fragments that undergo different modifications. These result in the insertion of sequences into the genome of the bacterium, at a precise location, situated between numerous motifs of repeated sequences, called CRISPR. This system allows the bacteria to recognize and cut the DNA of the foreign microorganism during a new infection. This is, so to speak, an “immune” defense mechanism via the degradation of bacteriophage DNA.

The defense system of the mimivirus against the viriophage was baptized Mimivire (for mimivirus virophage resistance element). In order to validate their hypothesis, Marseille researchers have silenced the Mimivire system. In doing so, they restored the sensitivity of the mimivirus to the Zamilon virophage. Proof that Mimivire is necessary for this giant virus to be able to defend itself effectively against viriophage.

There is nothing to prevent us from imagining that the Mimivire defense system, like its bacterial counterpart CRIPSR, can quickly find applications in genome engineering. CRISPR is quickly out of academic research laboratories to be widely used today by biotechnology companies.

  8. Bin? Am trying to post about attempts to put Dr. Raoult in jail, and that he’s known about genome editing virus mutation since 2014. WP doesn’t like the link or Cr!$per.

    1. Council of the College of Doctors threatens Prof.

      2. #1 in the world saw right thru #35’s spliced virus, and knew how to treat it. Would be willing to wager the researchers in India who first identified the 4 HIV splices are looking at the viruses from 2017 to check for ADE or other oddities.

2017 was most likely a blend of both flu deaths and something modified.

Trying to jail Dr. Raoult, just like Dr. Judy M, and anyone else who may see what is going on. Fits the MO.

    2. Yep, Coosmama…you’ve got 4 comments in the Spam bin.

There’s the one long one and then 3 where you were trying to post the link.
No idea why they ended up in Spam.
      They look fine to me.
      😕☹️

Sorry, I cannot rescue them because I’m not the author of this thread.
Daughn would have to do that, or Wolfie.
