Dear KMAG: 20200413 Open Thread

This Stormwatch Monday Open Thread is VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA/KMAG/KAG world (with KMAG being a bit of both).

Yes, it’s Monday…again.

Free Speech is practiced here at the Q Tree. But please keep it civil.
Discussion of Q is not only allowed but encouraged. Imagine that! We can talk about Q here and not get banned.

Wheatie’s Word of the Day:

Methinks

‘Methinks’ is a transitive verb [Yes, it’s one word] meaning…it seems to me; I think; it appears to me.

‘Methinks’ is from Old English and Shakespeare used it quite a bit:

“Methinks the truth should live from age to age.”

“The lady doth protest too much, methinks.”

But methinks the word is making a comeback — and I for one, am all for it.

  1. The Chinese military certainly tracks U.S. aircraft carriers, so they certainly knew when our aircraft carrier stopped in Vietnam.

What better way for the Chinese Communist Party to effectively sabotage a nuclear carrier than to make sure sailors were infected while in Vietnam.

This was likely an intentional effort by the CCP. If it wasn’t, then they’re not very competent, because it was an obvious opportunity.

When a malicious actor (CCP) has motive and opportunity to infect the crew of one of the primary projectors of military power in China’s part of the world, it would seem negligent to not suspect the infection of our sailors was on purpose until proven otherwise.

Sort of explains (but doesn’t justify, by ANY means, what the ‘SC and other scandals showed…

IIRC, the T&Cs of student loans are (or at least used to be) VERY strict on for what that money was to be used… not that it stopped abuse, but at least back in the old days, one would seriously reflect before facing the possibility of an “unfunded obligation”…

Then again, Socialism is its own reward…

        1. His Not-A-State-Of-The-Union speech shortly afterwards blew it away. (Technically the SOTU had been given by Obola already; but this was so much like the SOTUs he has given since that most people forget that one wasn’t SOTU.)

And a speech in Poland. And some other one really early on.

Oh, the line the Left refuses to believe he said at the Dark Inauguration Address?

“When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice.”

That SHOULD go into any “great quotes” compilation that might be made after Trump leaves office.

  3. Something I learned from that ‘Out Of The Shadows’ documentary…

Satan worshipers are required to make a ‘public showing’ of their loyalty to satan.

So…this is why there is all the in-your-face stuff that is out there.
Satanists have to do that to prove their loyalty.

    I did not know this.

This explains the Marina Abromovic video that Microsoft put out.

Elitists hold these big parties and invite all the ‘in crowd’.

Recruits are gleeful about being included in such things.
They don’t know that they’re attending a satanic gathering.
They don’t realize they have participated in an evil ritual…until it’s too late.

But the recruits want the career advancement.
They want money and power too…
              So they go along.

She was invited to several very nice social gatherings but soon realized she was being recruited by the Scientology Church. Out of curiosity, she went to a couple of the “seminars”, or whatever they were called, and it scared the hell out of her.
I imagine it would be quite similar to what you described, Wheatie.

I didn’t either, I haven’t watched the video yet, but it makes perfect organizational sense. Like a cult behavior that reinforces loyalty to the cult leader and simultaneously acts as type of social reinforcement among the cult members.

And since many people are competitive by nature, it easily turns into a social competition, to one-up each other, to show who can be most obvious in their ‘public showing’ without revealing what they’re actually doing.

      Like a game.

Like all their symbolism, which they display openly, but which went undetected because we didn’t know what to look for, or what we were seeing.

      1. Another aspect of this…Once you cross the line by doing this, you can become an outcast in the outer society, so now your new cult is the only family you have. Even if the reaction isn’t that bad, you’ve got one group of people slamming you for what you did, another praising you. Effective reinforcement.

This isn’t just Satanists, it’s basically any cult.

News to me, too. It explains a lot. It also demonstrates that they have sold their souls and are being controlled. And they flaunt that aspect of it. Many of the music videos are about subjugation. The vigilantcitizen.com website covers all of this. At times it provides more creepiness than I want to see.

  4. Someone needs to coach Pence to stop shaking his head ‘no’ when he is saying affirmative things. His body language is 100% contradicting his speech.

It has the effect of making it seem like his mouth is lying, because his body language is telling us so.

It may seem like a small thing, but there is plenty of research showing that body language and other non-verbal cues play a significant part in interpersonal communication. An effective communicator doesn’t want to come across as though he’s arguing with himself.

It’s just a subconscious habit, and it can be fixed, but until or unless someone (in a position to do so) brings it to his attention, he won’t even realize he’s doing it.

  5. Good news……….
We knew the issue of Coronavirus would rise and wane.
We created a separate thread to get away from all the news about the virus.
FINALLY, I see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Tonight on Tucker, we had a story about Gov of MI and her reaction to Virus and broad power grab……. but then, we had a report about Biden.
    Did you see that?
A report about something OTHER than the virus.
    This is good.
    We’re turning the corner.

    1. At this point…most of the news pertains to the virus in some way.

      It has permeated everything.

In fact, it is tangentially related to even the ongoing investigations into SpyGate, etc.
It’s hard to find a news story…other than the weather…that is not related to the virus, because the virus dictates our world right now.

So we may have reached the point where it is no longer necessary to have two daily threads.

You’ve done an awesome job with the virus threads, Miss Daughn.

He played a video that explained what he’d done, and it made no impression whatsoever.

“Why did you do this?” some sweaty Beta male demanded.
And all the female reporters became screeching witches who remind everyone of thew worst relationships we’ve had in our lives.

    It was masterful.
And FINALLY, Trump purposely didn’t remind them that when the president declares a state of national emergency, his power is INDEED total.

He let the press really show its collective butt today
    @VP
Pence very cleverly said that under a state of national emergency, the president’s powers are “plenary.”

Not a single reporter in that room knows what plenary means.

    Plenary = unqualified; absolute.
This was the best press conference yet.

Not one of those psychos laid a glove on Trump.

He completely exposed them as bad-faith actors.

    The funniest part?
Some other sweaty Beta male said that the press asks difficult questions so that the next president can learn form the missteps of his predecessor.

    SURE!

Just like they did for Obama.
There was a wild-eyed blonde who demanded to know why Trump “didn’t do anything” between the time he put travel restrictions of China and the time he issued the nationwide guidelines.

    Think how stupid that is.

He put together a task force BEFORE the travel restrictions.

    1. And at THIS point, I will berate Trump’s “supporters” for letting the treasonous press influence them.

Every single day, someone asks me about something they read or saw on the news.

Every heard of Tokyo Rose and Lord Haw-Haw?
Tokyo Rose was actually several English-speaking Japanese who broadcast FAKE NEWS on the radio to demoralize American troops.

Lord Haw-Haw was William Joyce, a British citizen who broadcast the same kind of propaganda for the Nazis.
You people are listening to Tokyo Rose and Lord Haw-Haw EVERY SINGLE DAY and believing them.

      It’s absolutely disgraceful.

You have no excuses for continuing to do this.

It means you have the brain of a chipmunk.
      can’t deal with it.

You’re letting people who YOU KNOW ARE LIARS influence the way you think.

If I read anything by leftists, it’s only to debunk it.

      “IS THIS TRUE?!”

      “For the billionth time, no.”

      “Jeepers, thanks! I needed that!”
Crises bring out your true character.

A lot of people are surprising me with their ability to rise to the occasion.

      But MORE people are flopping.

That’s why I watch mostly movie reviews and not videos by Trump supporters who lost their balls.
I’m with Trump, no matter what. How many times have I TOLD YOU that he does almost everything under the radar?

      He admitted it today.

“How do you know China hasn’t suffered any consequences?”
      The Chinese are SCREWED.

It doesn’t matter what their ridiculous military leaders threaten to do. Their armed forces are unable to function.

Our troops were together, IN PERSON, edifying and supporting each other psychologically, so mocking Tokyo Rose was probably good fun in addition to building camaraderie.

Group activity is a whole different ballgame than when you’re in your own living room, by yourself or with your spouse, and every channel is pumping coordinated propaganda at you.

And the propaganda by Tokyo Rose in the early 1940s was CRUDE and unsophisticated by comparison to today’s standards, when they’ve had nearly 80 YEARS to refine and distill it.

Why is Carlos so relentlessly derogatory toward our own people?

That’s not true, it’s a lifetime of programming and habit that people are trying to break, and for most people, that’s not easy.

I have explained it to people in my own family, and they understand it, and five minutes later they’re right back watching Fox News and buying the narrative.

You have to repeatedly break them out of it, explain what is going on, give them some context for WHY they’re doing it, create a foundation for understanding that goes beyond “because I told you so”.

In my life experience, “because I told you so” doesn’t work for anybody past about the age of 12. You need to come up with better reasons or explanations after that. 😁

I went for ONE thing, and must have cleared my throat or something because I don’t remember coughing and some woman walks up behind me and says, “That was real inconsiderate, you coughing like that.” I turned around all masked up, and said, “I’m wearing a mask.” Anything I would have coughed up came right back at me, no one else.

A police SUV just happened to turn the corner onto our street at that point, and didn’t even slow down. THAT’s the way it should be.

This is absolutely ridiculous. It’s allergy season. I’m going to be snotty for the next six weeks. I’m not sick, I know I’m not sick. Believe me, I just got over one. I go to the store and Church and that’s it.

Unless you are purposely trying to cough, generally speaking, coughing is an involuntary reaction, a reflex to some kind of irritant.

Sometimes we can suppress it, but not for long. Certainly not long enough to get out of a grocery store!

One of the most frightening Obama edicts to come down the pike is Executive Order 13603 on “National Defense Resources Preparedness,” issued a little over a year ago, on March 16, 2012. This executive order is frightening because of its sweeping scope, explicitly declaring that the president and his designated Cabinet and agency heads have authority to commandeer and control:

    all water,
    all human and animal food,
    all transportation,
    all energy,
    all construction materials,
    all “health resources,”
    all farm equipment,
    all fertilizers,
    all fuels,
    … and much more.

President Obama declares in Executive Order 13603 his power to carry out these broad usurpations “By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including the Defense Production Act of 1950, as amended (50 U.S.C. App. 2061 et seq.), and section 301 of title 3, United States Code, and as Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the United States.”

What should be particularly alarming to Americans is that Executive Order 13603 does not merely claim these powers during war time or during a “national emergency,” but explicitly and repeatedly states that these apply “in peacetime and in times of national emergency.” It further states that this “authority shall be used to promote the national defense, under both emergency and non-emergency conditions.”

Fedgov: “Don’t worry; We’ve got everything covered”

The all-encompassing scope of this edict is evident throughout the document, but the general flavor is indicated in Section 201, which states:

The authority of the President … to allocate materials, services, and facilities as deemed necessary or appropriate to promote the national defense, is delegated to the following agency heads:

    (1) the Secretary of Agriculture with respect to food resources, food resource facilities, livestock resources, veterinary resources, plant health resources, and the domestic distribution of farm equipment and commercial fertilizer;
    (2) the Secretary of Energy with respect to all forms of energy;
    (3) the Secretary of Health and Human Services with respect to health resources;
    (4) the Secretary of Transportation with respect to all forms of civil transportation;
    (5) the Secretary of Defense with respect to water resources; and
    (6) the Secretary of Commerce with respect to all other materials, services, and facilities, including construction materials …

To put a finer point on this executive power grab, Section 801 provides these definitions for the above-listed powers:

    (a) ‘‘Civil transportation’’ includes movement of persons and property by all modes of transportation in interstate, intrastate, or foreign commerce … and related public storage and warehousing, ports, services, equipment and facilities, such as transportation carrier shop and repair facilities. ‘‘Civil transportation’’ also shall include direction, control, and coordination of civil transportation capacity regardless of ownership….

    (b) ‘‘Energy’’ means all forms of energy including petroleum, gas (both natural and manufactured), electricity, solid fuels (including all forms of coal, coke, coal chemicals, coal liquification, and coal gasification), solar, wind, other types of renewable energy, atomic energy, and the production, conservation, use, control, and distribution (including pipelines) of all of these forms of energy.

    (c) ‘‘Farm equipment’’ means equipment, machinery, and repair parts manufactured for use on farms in connection with the production or preparation for market use of food resources.

    (d) ‘‘Fertilizer’’ means any product or combination of products that contain one or more of the elements nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium for use as a plant nutrient.

    (e) ‘‘Food resources’’ means all commodities and products, (simple, mixed, or compound), or complements to such commodities or products, that are capable of being ingested by either human beings or animals, irrespective of other uses to which such commodities or products may be put, at all stages of processing from the raw commodity to the products thereof in vendible form for human or animal consumption. ‘‘Food resources’’ also means potable water packaged in commercially marketable containers, all starches, sugars, vegetable and animal or marine fats and oils, seed, cotton, hemp, and flax fiber ….

    (f) ‘‘Food resource facilities’’ means plants, machinery, vehicles (including on farm), and other facilities required for the production, processing, distribution, and storage (including cold storage) of food resources, and for the domestic distribution of farm equipment and fertilizer (excluding transportation thereof).

Section 308 states: “The head of each agency engaged in procurement for the national defense is delegated the authority of the President … to”:

    (a) procure and install additional equipment, facilities, processes, or improvements to plants, factories, and other industrial facilities owned by the Federal Government and to procure and install Government-owned equipment in plants, factories, or other industrial facilities owned by private persons.

Obama Media Choir: “Nothing here to worry about”

Soon after President Obama issued Executive Order 13603, critics began pointing out the obvious dangers. One of the most influential condemnations of the edict was penned by Cato Institute Senior Fellow Jim Powell for Forbes.com entitled “Obama’s Plan To Seize Control Of Our Economy And Our Lives.”

………..End quote. You can read more at the link above.

So if the Dems and Enemedia want to slam Pres Trump for saying “ultimate authority”…then they should be reminded of HusseinO’s EO which strengthened those powers.

HusseinO was essentially adding to and strengthening a Clinton EO on this same subject, that Clinton issued back in June 1994.

Also…it was a Dem-controlled Congress, that reissued and strengthened the Defense Production Act of 1950.

They did this in 2009; it was called the “Defense Production Act Reauthorization of 2009.”

        1. Yep…I was disturbed about it at the time.

And now, it’s almost like PDJT is ‘daring’ the enemedia to bring up these powers…so that he can refresh their memories on ‘who’ it was that strengthened them.
