Dear KAG!: 20191114 Open Topic

This Night before Daughn THURSDAY 20191114 Open Thread is very open – VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA / KAG! / KMAG world (KMAG being a bit of both MAGA and KAG!).

the Continental Congress
What would our founding fathers think of today’s Disgraceful Democrats Display of Debauchery?

You can say what you want, comment on what other people said, and so on.

Free Speech is practiced here. ENJOY IT. Use it or lose it.

Keep it SOMEWHAT civil. They tried to FORCE fake Orwellian civility on us. In response, we CHOOSE true civility to defend our precious FREEDOM from THEM.

Our rules began with the civility of the Old Treehouse, later to become the Wolverinian Empire, and one might say that we have RESTORED THE OLD REPUBLIC – the early high-interaction model of the Treehouse – except of course that Q discussion is not only allowed but encouraged, and speech is considerably freer in other ways.

Please feel free to argue and disagree with the board owner, as nicely as possible. Please also consider the Important Guidelines, outlined in the January 1st open thread. Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven.

POTUS meme

Fellow tree dweller Wheatie gave us some good reminders on the basics:

  • No food fights.
  • No running with scissors.
  • If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

  1. Getting to the point where I am looking over my shoulder.
    Tell me if I’m crazy.

Does it seem to you like information is POURING out?
    It’s coming from everywhere.
    Can barely keep up.
It’s like someone opened the floodgates.

    What’s going on??????

        1. if they think they can distract POTUS by coming at him from all sides–impeachment, lawsuits, China, North Korea…whatever else…he will only release more INFO (we may not know it’s from him—but who else??)…you fight the dark by shining light. Light=FACTS

          1. There’s so much info that we’ve been waiting for, and so much we don’t even know about. It is starting to rain, and I personally will welcome a flood.

Wolf has an excellent article today tying climate hoaxes to Ukraine and overarching plans *they* have for the population. A must-read, IMO.
My point is that the cooling now, with the Maunder Minimum, is part of that flood of realization — even though it is not under our control or info that *we* can release. It’s just happening, and there’s nothing they can do about it. It should make some people question what they’ve been told. I can’t think of a plausible excuse that globalists and climate criminals could come up with.

  2. If the charges weren’t so serious, I would indeed be enjoying the show.

An Emmy-winning former medical correspondent for NBC was arrested for allegedly asking a 9-year-old girl to send him sexually explicit photos, according to new reports.

Dr. Bruce Hensel, 71, was charged Wednesday with asking the daughter of a friend through an online messaging app for the photos in August, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Hensel, who worked as the on-air chief medical correspondent for NBC New York and Los Angeles, faces one felony count of contact with a minor for sexual purposes.

The Los Angeles Police Department launched an investigation into Hensel after they learned he and the girl shared inappropriate messages and photos. Hensel’s home in the Pacific Palisades was searched on Oct. 16 as per a search warrant.

He was booked into the Los Angeles Police Department’s Metropolitan Detention Center and his bail was set at $5,000. His arraignment will be at a later date.

      1. Higher bail is only for those who are a flight risk. He’ll show up for Court if required. These guys are right out in the open and trust in their system to protect them ……. but like Dylan sings about the Slow Train Comin’. That day may be closer than any of us think.

          1. We have to trust God’s Word to be true. There is nothing else that makes any sense. Judgement is coming and none will escape having to account. Children are sacred, Families are sacred, Nationalities are sacred and human life is sacred. God’s Principles can not be abused for long without consequences. We all pay for these creeps.

    1. The Canadian news media is paid for, and unwittingly subsidized by Cdn taxpayers. And now CBC, (Justin’s Communist Broadcast Corp) just had the only remaining truthful voice for Cdn hockey, Don Cherry, fired for using 2 words out of context. He said “you people” and should have said “everyone” when referring to the general lack of support represented by the wearing of a poppy on Nov. 11th. He is a Patriot, a treasured hockey voice and a man of integrity and grit. He was Coaches Corner in Cdn hockey for 38 years. He knows and values the price paid by others to provide a free Nation for those who bitch about it’s fairness. Those with dreams of playing hockey just need to become better hockey players at the highest levels. That takes discipline and hard work, something that few who have everything given them know anything about. Sportsnet are controlled opposition and puppets for CBC ideology as defined by Justin from Canada.

      1. I’ve never understood what the big deal is about saying ‘you people’. My parents used the expression, as did my teachers.

Very sorry to hear about Don Cherry. Absolutely agree that he has an excellent reputation.

    1. Unattended parents. A friend of mr. Gils had a daughter who was messenging a sex offender, whi tried to go to their home and pick her up. They refused to do restraining orders or take away her devices. They were upset but didnt want to take extra steps. The mom is a doctor too. Just no synapses firing whennit comes to this stuff.
And why does a 9 yr old have a phone?

then I get THE LOOK…(like that’s gonna scare me now…LOL)
we never got our kids phones or cars–they had to work and buy their own…so we’re talking high school graduation they got them…not before…

I asked if he realized she could still access the internet – he said no, not if it’s not activated. I showed him how wrong he was! He has his head buried firmly in the sand about this subject. He also gave her his old I-Pad and she spends hours watching YT videos, with NO supervision. Scares the bejeezus out of me!

  4. A report of a shooting at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita has prompted the lockdown of multiple campuses in the area Thursday morning, authorities said.

Deputies responded to a report of shots fired on the campus, located at 21900 Centurion Way, the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station Department said in a series of tweets.

There are at least six — but possibly seven — victims, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. It was not immediately clear if all of them had been shot.

Paramedics responded after receiving a gunshot wound call just before 7:40 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The agency confirmed at least one person was shot in the abdomen.

At least three victims could be seen being treated on the campus, Sky5 video showed.

The shooter is described as an Asian male wearing black clothing, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

Rosedell and Highland elementary schools have been placed on lockdown amid the search for the gunman.

People are being asked to avoid the area.

Less than half of US evangelicals identify as ‘pro-life,’ new poll suggests
Only one quarter of evangelicals say abortion should be illegal in all cases

Only a quarter of evangelicals in the United States believe abortion should be illegal in all cases, according to a new poll showing that a majority of self-identified Christians in the U.S. identify as “pro-choice” and less than half of evangelicals identify as “pro-life.”

Save the Storks, a pro-life organization that partners with pregnancy centers to provide women with free ultrasounds, released a new survey this week that it sponsored through the research firm Magid.

The survey is based on online interviews with 1,000 adults nationwide ages 18 to 69 conducted in May to gauge Americans’ opinions and attitudes on abortion.

“There’s a disconnect in our culture right now,” said OB-GYN Dr. Karysse Trandem, a spokesperson for Save the Storks. “The majority of Americans believe that life begins at or before the heartbeat, but the majority of evangelicals and Catholics identify as pro-choice.”

While the research breaks down data by religious demographics, it should be noted that religious classification for the survey was done by self-identification. This means that evangelical respondents were self-identified and not determined by belief qualification.

The data shows that 25 percent of all respondents identify themselves as “pro-life” — a political term used typically to identify someone who opposes abortion — while 40 percent identified as “pro-choice” — a term typically used to identify someone who supports abortion rights.

From 2012: Boy, did this guy get blasted!!! “Foster Friess, a prominent backer of Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum, raised eyebrows Thursday when he offered up his own idea for a possible contraceptive method: “This contraceptive thing, my gosh, it’s so… inexpensive. Back in my days, they used Bayer aspirin for contraceptives.”

Friess’s implication is that if women hold aspirin between their legs, they won’t open them.”

Those are the people who would have given Cruz the nomination and ushered in Hillary 2016. They do not apply their own standards to themselves. There’s a word for that…

Maybe they could go back to the Bible to see how God uses imperfect people to accomplish his goals. He has to, because we’re all imperfect. But even those with an imperfect resume might have the perfect qualificaitons for the job at hand. More importantly, those are the people who are willing to sacrifice tremendously to get it done.

It was shocking to see Methodists, Baptists, Non-denominational, white/black churches refuse and hem/haw/hedge about being pro-life.

The new Anglican movement that split with Episcopalians and Church of England are largely pro-life, but Episcopalians are not.

PCA Presbyterians are pro-life and pro-family – but old Presybterian group is not.

As a rule, the liberal leftist pro-homo churches are not pro-life.

      1. It started back in the 1930s, with Harry Emerson Fosdick and the Rockefellers redefining mainstream American Christianity as “fundamentalist”, thereby moving ultra-liberal beliefs into the mainstream, and stigmatizing the supposedly former mainstreamers as extremists.

Since then, with the Overton window being forced open to the left, many things are accepted or considered orthodox, although they are no such thing. Hard to believe that commie shift was almost 100 years ago…

      1. That’s what I was wondering. I pretty much live in a Catholic bubble and know few who are practicing the faith who are not pro-life to the point of agonizing over stopping extraordinary measures, so my perspective is a bit skewed on where the people who claim Christianity are on this.

    1. It did not happen on an “impeachment inquiry” hearings day, so it did not interrupt them.
It happened the day after the disastrous first day of those hearings.

Panellists, believers or not, were most unhappy with the general. They asked how Macron (via the general) could take the decision on his own as to what the new spire would look like.

Most thought there should be consultation with the French public, even a referendum, on the new spire.

  6. wonderful heart warming story…

Given that Schroeder never raised a family, he decided to go to a lawyer with a plan for his fortune, which by the time he did so was in the millions. He wanted to give his money back to other small-town Iowan children who didn’t have the means to attend college.

“He said, ‘I never got the opportunity to go to college. So, I’d like to help kids go to college,’” Nielson recalled. “Finally, I was curious, and I said, ‘How much are we talking about, Dale?’ And he said, ‘Oh, just shy of $3 million.’ I nearly fell out of my chair.”

Schroeder ended up sending 33 strangers to college through his wealth. The group calls itself “Dale’s kids” and held a meetup this month to honor Schroeder’s legacy. According to Nielson, the only thing Schroeder wanted in return for his generosity was for the students to “pay it forward.”

  8. Let’s lighten things up a bit – clean so I will post here:

A guy hears about a place that does brain transplants. He doesn’t believe it, goes to visit. In the laboratory he says to a technician, “Now, come on — I’ve heard of liver transplants, kidney transplants, even heart transplants. But brain transplants? Are you serious?

And the technician says, “Sure. Look over here.” On a shelf there are a lot of bottles with brains in them. The technician points to one: “Here we have a secretary’s brain for $1,500. And over in this bottle is a salesman’s brain. That goes for $6,000. And over there, that’s an executive’s brain. The price of that one is $25,000.”

The customer is astounded. “$25,000?!? And the secretary’s brain is only $1,500? Now, exactly how do you justify such an incredible discrepancy?”

The technician replies, “The executive’s brain has hardly been used.”

  9. Haven’t visited in a while, and haven’t read all comments today, sorry, but is anyone having issues with the Brave Browser? All of my bookmarks were gone this morning from my iPad, including this site. Luckily I remembered the url, but can’t recall the other 30 or so sites I had bookmarked. Apparently I’m not the only one…the Brave website has other people complaining also. Wondered if this is part of the tech war on conservatives and all the deleting going on. Maybe time to find another ad-free browser if there is one. I hate Safari, so not thrilled about going back.

    1. I now have a nag window on the home browser, touting, er, pimping “Brave Rewards”, and I’ve not been able to get rid of it.

The Brave Browser (like most others) uses Google’s Chrome Engine as its code base and underpinning. So even though it’s “Brave”, it’s Chrome underneath [and Chrome don’t get ya home].

I think the silly-cone valley oligarchs are starting to tighten the strings. I keep having to go back in and be sure the “no update” flags are set, just like I do with Windoze (nothing like shutting off a couple of services to keep Nutella from dinking with my OS).

Oops, just saw you’re on an iPad. At least you’re not on windoze, but I think the Chrome foundation code is still probably an issue…

      Liked by 2 people

        1. Usually sites just check the browser version (exploder vs. Firefox vs. Brave, Chrome, et. al.). Haven’t heard them inquiring about OS on the client side, as that info can be suppressed… they need the browser version so they can display things correctly, and handle code differently. The OS shouldn’t make much of a difference (but there is a reason M$ didn’t go to Windows 9 – quick and dirty checks in browser (or server-side) code only look for the “9”, and think it’s 95 or 98…

Windoze 1 0 spews all sorts of infos out; and most of that is a pain to turn off; guess I’ll have to build a firewall server, as I don’t trust my Internet Provider to do anything useful in that regard…

          1. The guy who is helping me with my laptop told me that – ALL sites, starting next year, will only accept W10. I told him I didn’t want it on the refurbished laptop I am getting – he said I won’t have a choice by next year.

            1. He’s wrong, sorry. In terms of official “support” from M$, that’s correct, but many, MANY people will stay on W7 until the bitter end. There are people (albeit with very expensive manufacturing kit) still on XP, but they’ve “walled off” those machines.

I do computers for a living, and now do it for a hobby (senior discount years and all). I’d be interested to hear his sources for that, as there’s no reason to force people to W10. I’m not a *x person, but there are TONS of linux distros out there, many of them not that hard to use. I think it’s more a case of he doesn’t want to support W7, which I can understand, as it puts him in the position of having to support something without having the manufacturer’s backing. I have a WinXP64 box running just fine, along with a WinXP32. Neither of them “see” the internet, and only in rare cases do they even see the “sneakernet”… there are ways (I have a lot of great info on that, but most of it is in German…).

              Liked by 1 person

              1. What he told me was the sites themselves were going to require it. I haven’t a clue myself – anything beyond just a basic understanding is over my head. I know how to navigate somewhat and the basics but that’s it.

Question: have you ever heard of the Software Productivity Consortium? It was located in Herndon, VA by Dulles Airport. I worked there for a couple of years as Business Coordinator for the Development Environment Engineering division – it was our job to negotiate the software-sharing agreements and hardware purchases. They took off-the-shelf software and altered the source code to work with ANY hardware. They said we had the first ever non-hardware specific LAN.

Boy, do I have a whopper of a story from THAT job! One day, I’ll have to tell it.

  10. For all of us seniors here:

Two elderly ladies had been friends for many decades. Over the years, they had shared all kinds of activities and adventures. Lately, their activities had been limited to meeting a few times a week to play cards.

One day, they were playing cards when one looked at the other and said, “Now, don’t get mad at me….I know we’ve been friends for a long time, but I just can’t think of your name! I’ve thought and thought but I can’t remember it. Please tell me what your name is.”

Her friend glared at her. For at least three minutes, she just stared and glared at her. Finally, she said, “How soon do you need to know?”

Two elderly women were eating at a restaurant one morning. Ethel noticed something funny about Mabel’s ear and said, “Mabel, did you know you’ve got a suppository in your ear?”

Mabel answered: “I have? A suppository?” She pulled it out and stared at it. Then she said, “Ethel, I’m glad you saw this thing. Now I think I know where my hearing aid is.”

An elderly couple was on a cruise and it was really stormy. They were standing on the back of the boat watching the moon, when a wave came up and washed the old woman overboard. They searched for days and couldn’t find her, so the Captain sent the old man back to shore with the promise that he would notify him as soon as they found something.

Three weeks went by and, finally, the old man got a fax from the boat. It read, “Sir, sorry to inform you, we found your wife dead at the bottom of the ocean. We hauled her up to the deck and, attached to her butt was an oyster – in it was a pearl worth $50,0000. Please advise.”

The old man faxed back: “Send me the pearl and re-bait the trap!”

Three sisters ages 92, 94, and 96 live in a house together. One night the 96 year old draws a bath. She puts her foot in and pauses. She yells to the other sisters, “Was I getting in or out of the bath?” The 94 year old yells back, “I don’t know. I’ll come up and see.” She starts up the stairs and pauses, “Was I going up the stairs or down?”

The 92 year old is sitting at the kitchen table having tea, listening to her sisters. She shakes her head and says, “I sure hope I never get that forgetful!” She knocks on wood for good measure. She then yells, “I’ll come up and help both of you as soon as I see who’s at the door.”

A woman born in New Jersey, who fled the United States to join the Islamic State five years ago, isn’t an American citizen won’t be leaving the Syrian refugee camp where she resides, a federal judge ruled.

Hoda Muthana, 25, the so-called ISIS bride, “doesn’t have a constitutional right to return to the United States because she is not a U.S. citizen.” Judge Reggie Walton of the District of Columbia District ruled Thursday.

Muthana 25, left her family home in Alabama in 2014 after making contact with ISIS fighters through social media. She was born to a Yemeni diplomat in 1994 and was issued an American passport despite some confusion about when her father’s diplomatic post officially came to an end.

The Trump administration followed in the footsteps of the Obama administration, which argued in January 2016 that Muthana had never been a U.S. citizen and delivered a letter to her family’s home in Alabama informing them of that.

Between the period of 1979 and 2012, the country saw just 29 attacks and 45 killed, but in the era of the Islamic State terror group, the attacks increased to 42 with 272 deaths in just six years.

Around 54.3 percent of the attacks in which the Islamic State took credit occurred in France, with soldiers and police officers being the most frequent targets for terrorists.

The French capital of Paris and its surrounding no-go suburbs of Seine-Saint-Denis have seen the most attacks, along with other regions that have noted problems with Islamic radicalisation.”

    1. A .45 caliber bullet will blow your brains right out of your head. That’s why it’s been used so heavily in military branches. It’s such a devastating wound, it kills pretty much no matter what part of the body it hits.

  18. I know it gets old to call something a “BOMBSHELL” and “BREAKING NEWS”. But this is just that!

Glenn Beck (yes, I know Cheeto-Face) has made a 2 hour masterpiece with the 1st hour of history of the Fabian Society, Woodrow Wilson’s 14 points<<<and the birth of the Deep State—-he ties that all into current affairs namely the Ukraine hoax. Beck is using new documentation and video footage to back his claims.

Yes! I am saying it! THIS IS MUST WATCH!

Please let us put down whatever negative feelings we may have about Beck…this is the Beck from a decade ago before the Soros apparatus came after him. There is a very good chance they take this video down.

Will bookmark to watch later JW… thanks for bringing attention to this compilation.

    2. I am at only 8 minutes. Like things being revealed to that many more people but in the first few minutes he has said the the last 4 POTUSes and Presid3nt a Trump were figureheads to the deep state. Trying to shift blame from the bush clan?! + said President probably just happened to start unraveling the corruption..whatever ….SMH
Beck still not completely eyes open to President Trump.. saidwouldchav3 been the same no matter who one and gav3 Cruz as an example.
Only President Trump and good people in the military and fed gov.
Someone send him that key speech from ‘16 on the deep state and corruption by President Trump. This is on Purpose and planned, a campaign promise that Beck was too busy nursing a grudge to listen to, process and/or comprehend.
But glad he is at least helping….

        1. You did post the very video of which I was speaking?! great minds think alike! 😉

Yes, it is helpful but he is not MAGA per se.

however, he is reaching some of the few never trumpers left + getting good info out in solid info format

    3. I just started this, but he said something at the very beginning that let me know he STILL does not like PDJT. He threw him in the same basket as all the others. At 4:54 he states: “Does it matter who you vote for? No, we could have ended up with” list of GOP candidates” and then states, “No, they’re all controlled by the deep state”.

In his prologue, he talks about the corruption that’s becoming visible, but he still can’t see beyond that. At least he may be able to get some people to see some of the corruption. He’s still not really “woke”..

I will go ahead and listen to it as much as I can, but 10 + minutes into it, he still appears to be “sitting on the fence” to put in nicely, about Trump.

        1. Just got about half way through, and the history part is pretty good. I knew about Wilson from my husband, he’s railed about Wilson through the years. There are several things Beck has not talked about that are intertwined with this whole movement, the Fed, income taxes, and lowering of tariffs. The money angle is absent from this first half.

      1. Good grief. It is not about Beck….the information the product is sometimes what is paramount.

Do we choose to not listen to perhaps very important information that may help us change the direction of the country…do we not listen because………………

It’s the reason there’s so much division among Trump Supporters…

Lack of discernment… lack of critical thinking.

  22. Parents Filed Lawsuit Against School After 6-Year-Old Daughter Was Taught that “There’s No Such Thing As Boys And Girls”

    November 14, 2019
by Brandon Showalter, Humans Are Free

Parents who filed a human rights complaint against a school where their 6-year-old daughter was being taught that “there’s no such thing as boys and girls” have now filed a lawsuit against the school board, principal, and the teacher.

The teacher, who taught a first grade class at Devonshire Community Public School in Ontario, Canada, last year, presented a YouTube video on gender called “He, She, and They?!? — Gender: Queer Kid Stuff #2,” which was part of the lesson plan that day, Pamela Buffone, the mother of the 6-year-old girl, told The Post Millennial earlier this year.

Buffone and her husband subsequently filed a complaint with the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal against the school system after their daughter started worrying she might not be female after watching that video.

  23. Parents magazine uses a 4-year-old boy to spread propaganda

    November 14, 2019
    from Fellowship Of The Minds

Parents magazine is published by the Meredith Corporation and, according to their Wikipedia page, features “scientific” information on child development geared to help parents in raising their children.

That is a complete lie. What they are really featuring is complete leftist LGTBQRSTUV propaganda.

  24. “Oh, how classy. Just picture it: hundreds of Democrats in their clown-show best, no doubt with some wearing cow suits, marching to beat cowbells in unison at the perfectly dignified Rep. Nunes.

This is unintentionally ironic, indeed, given that the Sorosians are convinced they’re on an intellectually higher level than the rest of us. Ummmm…

It’s such a stupid and embarrassing phenomenon for them that it basically amounts to an open invitation for Republicans to raise money off the spectacle of these boobs beating their cowbells. It defines them. It’s “who they are,” as the lefties like to say. It’s a natural call to the deplorables, and it’s going to backfire.”

  25. “The anti-Trump movement can be divided into two primary categories: (1) the leaders who sell the daily narrative and (2) the “useful idiots” who form the army of haters. The leaders include the Deep State criminals and media who protected Hillary and continue to collaborate on anti-Trump propaganda.

The leaders understand Eric Hoffer’s statement that “hatred is the most accessible and comprehensive of all the unifying agents. Mass movements can rise and spread without belief in a god, but never without a belief in a devil.” I am not arguing that the useful idiot sheep do not hate. There is clearly a contest of virtue-signaling hatred within this group, each person striving for novel ways to express his hatred. I am arguing that the motivation of the shepherds is self-protection.”

  26. “One of the most refreshing aspects of Resolution 296 — which acknowledges the Armenian Genocide, and which the House recently overwhelmingly voted for — is that it does not exclude those other peoples who also suffered a genocide under the Ottoman Turks. The opening sentence of Resolution 296 recognizes “the campaign of genocide against Armenians, Greeks, Assyrians, Chaldeans, Syriacs, Arameans, Maronites, and other Christians.”

And that last word — Christians — is key to understanding this tragic chapter of history: Christianity is what all those otherwise diverse peoples had in common, and therefore it — not nationality, ethnicity, or grievances — was the ultimate determining factor concerning whom the Turks would and would not “purge.”

The genocide is often conflated with the Armenians because many more of them than other ethnicities were killed — causing them to be the face of the genocide. According to generally accepted figures, the Turks slaughtered 1.5 million Armenians, 750,000 Greeks, and 300,000 Assyrians.”

  27. Oh, dear God! Using his own child as a human shield!!!

“Police say the 25-year-old Philadelphia resident attempted to buy drugs with counterfeit money. When the deal went south, Monroe hid in his car, using his own son to block gunfire from a presumably irate dealer.

Monroe’s son was reportedly “struck once in the back of the head, once in the chest and twice in the buttocks.” Monroe and his partner — the boy’s stepmother — then allegedly drove to another house before delivering his son to the hospital.

Both the woman and child were eventually delivered to Albert Einstein Hospital. The latter was transferred to St. Christopher’s Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. The shooter remains at large.”
