Dear KAG: 20191023 Open Thread

October 23 over the centuries has brought a number of highlights. One of them is actually Phyllis Schlafy’s daughter’s in-laws winning the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1947. American immigrants from what was then Czechloslovakia, Carl & Gerty Cori won a legitimate prize for their work in the discovery of glycogen metabolism.

In keeping with the spirit of the Czechs other than Father Gregor Mendel the grandfather of genetics, here is what some Germans did with a famous Czech composer’s best known work with socialist overtones.

Okay, so here’s the deal. This is the open thread. This is where we all come to get the news that other Q tree inhabitants think is worth knowing and sharing. Please, post links to any “news” stories quoted, and ask for help if you are stumped as to how to do that. We’re a friendly lot. Someone will be with you shortly, and there is no reason to have to press one for English.

Free speech, and the open exchange and hashing out of ideas is not only allowed, but encouraged. If we all don’t use it, we’re going to lose it. A little incivility goes a long way, though. Seriously, when watching the action, none of this now.

Julie Newmar is right. Those boys are juicy.

And a quick photo I took at Scott Air Force Base at a federal employee fundraising event. The eagle’s name was Liberty, and he was recovering from having been hit by a car. The sanctuary where he was recovering was one of the non-profits featured that day.

And now for some house keeping:

There are a few rules here in the branches of the Q Tree. Our host, Wolfm00n, outlined them in a post on New Years Day. Please, review these rules from time to time. In that amazingly long line at the grocery store is a good spot.

Fellow tree dweller Wheatie gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

Steve suggests – to be accurate – no shooting at the nuclear weapons, but to be safe about it, don’t event point firearms toward them. I, Deplorable Patriot, bossy chick that I am, request no teasing the animals, pets and wildlife alike.

Teasing and trolling the lefties and their bastions, on the other hand is a moral imperative.

In the eternal fight against the forces of evil and darkness, unceasing prayer is always needed.

Today’s Lectionary tells us what is our responsibility in the bargain of salvation:

ROM 6:12-18

Brothers and sisters:
Sin must not reign over your mortal bodies
so that you obey their desires.
And do not present the parts of your bodies to sin
as weapons for wickedness,
but present yourselves to God as raised from the dead to life
and the parts of your bodies to God
as weapons for righteousness.
For sin is not to have any power over you,
since you are not under the law but under grace.

What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law
but under grace?
Of course not!
Do you not know that if you present yourselves
to someone as obedient slaves,
you are slaves of the one you obey,
either of sin, which leads to death,
or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?
But thanks be to God that, although you were once slaves of sin,
you have become obedient from the heart
to the pattern of teaching to which you were entrusted.
Freed from sin, you have become slaves of righteousness.

As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome.

And now, on to the day’s news…..

    1. Why??

      1) Because Bill Barr, John Durham, and John Huber aren’t kidding around, and AG Barr’s speech on Christianity and freedom of religion at Notre Dame a week ago was essentially a declaration of war.

      2) Given #1, democrats and their DS/globalist allies are in a panic and thoroughly desperate. Think of them as trapped and cornered rats…because that is exactly what they are.

      3) There are trillions at stake, along with the lives of the rats mentioned above.

These people won’t be able to walk the streets in safety.

So yes, Hill should be done. But how will that come about, at the voting booth? Will Pelosi take action? Will the House draft a strong letter condemning Hill’s abuse of her aide? /sarc

    1. How about…Term Limits for bureaucrats!

      10 years and you’re out.
Go out and get a job in the private sector.

We’ve got 2nd and 3rd generation govt bureaucrats now, which just adds to their ‘us versus them’ mentality.

        1. It doesn’t have to be done by legislation.

Where is it set forth in law…that govt bureaucrat jobs are lifetime positions?

Just change the Terms of Employment.

        2. That option should be given to the voters … we pay them we should have the power regarding their tenure and what they are paid, and they should have to submit expenses/records since they are employed by We The People.

      1. Term limits?

Remove their job protections and make it easy to fire them…just like “at will” work laws. The fact that it is near impossible to fire these people is why they feel so secure and protected.

Put their job and careers at risk and a lot of this shit stops immediately.

        1. Agreed. Absolutely agreed. This is *SCIENCE* – it is literally mathematical biology. Unless the jobs of bureaucrats are in a DYNAMIC RELATIONSHIP with a power that can selectively remove them (a predator, basically), they will overpopulate and destroy the complex calculating properties of the system.

President Trump has FINALLY confronted the source of the problem.

Bureaucrats must secure their jobs by VALUE TO WHOEVER THE PEOPLE PUTS IN CHARGE. This is brilliant founder design. The commies have RUINED IT.

    2. I have advocated here previously for moving massive chunks of the federal government out of DC. Happy to see Blackburn embrace this idea; I knew she would be a good Senator.

      1. YES!!! The ability to fire bureaucrats is IMPERATIVE. Moving bureaucrats out of DC fixes things in some ways, but it does NOT get to the root of the problem. YOUR POINT DOES!!!

I love the idea of moving bureaucracy out of DC not only because it helps accelerate the effect we are looking for (bureaucrats serving US, not THEMSELVES), but also for RESILIENCE AND SECURITY.

Seriously, moving them out has HUGE MILITARY and DISASTER RECOVERY advantages.

If 90% of our federal bureaucracy is NOT in Washington, DC, then 90% of it survives a natural or man-made disaster in Washington, DC.

The distribution is almost a NO-BRAINER!!!

Nevertheless, it is NOT ENOUGH. It cannot fix the REAL PROBLEM. To protect against dysfunction of the system itself, no matter how it is geographically distributed, we MUST restore a proper power relationship of PROOF BY SERVICE to those who serve.

        1. Interesting this would come up.

I happened to drive past an experimental plant and life sciences campus this morning, the one RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET from the old Monsanto world HQ now run by Bayer, and which is named after a Danforth….

They are putting up a pretty sizable building. It could be nothing, but given that the USDA/FDA has a revolving door with the former Monsanto for staffers and executives, and one of the senators cheerleading this effort happens to be one of the ones from this state….

I want to wait and see where this one goes. Yeah, you can get the bureaucracy spread out, but then it would be a challenge to keep an eye on all of it, especially when the deep state operatives in private industry with the same goals are right across the street.

Just sayin’ I would be cautious about jumping on this bandwagon without taking into account locations of the proximate private sector.

          1. I hear you, but I still think that DC tends to be the worst option, as the only thing produced in DC is POLITICS! 😉

As for lobbying, it’s a bit of a two-edged sword. During the Clinton administration, the approach was to regard “do-gooder” NGOs as “not lobbying, to be listened to”, and everything else as “lobbying, to be ignored – unless they paid off Democrats”. Nasty stuff. What resulted during Clinton was thus a kind of “anti-human” type of regulation, which was especially notable on “federal lands”, which seemed to belong to Democrat elites and the Sierra Club, not the American People.

I am relying on the idea that Trump’s direct interventions on the revolving door are working, although I’m not sure if we have answers back on that yet. Might be a good time for POTUS to get some answers on that.

Short version: IMO, when the honest parts of industry are not listened to at all by lawmakers, it’s just as evil as when industry writes the rules without any oversight by the people. The need for Trumpian deregulation was a clear demonstration of the baggage that results from “buonisti-driven” regulation, yet note that Trump is still insisting on “clean air and clean water”, etc.

Shorter version: Monsanto / Danforth Industries (LOL) neither automatically trusted nor distrusted by this eater of both GMO and organic! 😉

  4. Rand Paul Sounds the Alarm On Anti-Trump GOP Senators

During an interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Republican Senator Rand Paul spoke out on the ongoing impeachment inquiry against President Trump. At one point during the segment, Carlson asked Paul why Senator Lindsey Graham wasn’t using his subpoena power as Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee to look into the Democrats’ efforts to ruin President Trump’s presidency.

Paul made it clear that he has put pressure on Graham but then made the shocking revelation that there are Republican members in the Senate who have a bigger “allegiance” to the deep state than the President.

    1. GOOD STUFF! Flip it around from despair to a BATTLE PLAN and we are gonna WIN, WIN, WIN.

This is all tying together, and it’s a WINNER for the overall strategy. Republicans need to study this thing and have a heart-to-heart with themselves. LISTEN to the ladies – Ronna McDaniel and Jane Timken – they GET TRUMP and why there needs to be GOP UNITY behind him right now, to get Trump WHAT HE NEEDS – a winning Senate and GOP HOUSE so that we can PASS STUFF and FIX THIS STUFF NOW!!!

Rand Paul gets it. He’s very careful not to go too negative on Graham and the others, but I’ll say it out loud.

ALINSKY FEARS of the Deep State are being used to pick off the NERVOUS NELLIES – to FREEZE THEM.

Solution? FORCE GRAHAM so it’s “not his fault”. He needs PROTECTION by his fellow GOP. Force his hand. WE DON’T CARE what dirt or pressure the DS throws at him – it falls back on THEM – not Graham.

Graham is going to get re-elected. PERIOD. So GO GET EM.

One way to play this is that IMPEACHMENT FOLLIES will be MATCHED by Senate hearings. They persist in this impeachment BS, we MATCH AND ADD Senate investigations.

      1. Want to watch Cabal heads explode? Including Nanacy and the MSM? Have Graham Subpoena ALL the impeachment witnesses…INCLUDING Schiff. Remember, his talks with the “whistle blower” makes him a FACT witness. THAT ought to pucker quite a few Cabal sphincters.

        Liked by 13 people

      2. Wolfie — I posited the other day the theory that PDJT is looking for this impeachment fight, and he wants it to be waged in the Senate were everything will come out in the open. The truth would not only take down a big chunk of the cabal, it would destroy the MSM’s credibility.

This may be a crazy theory, but if it is the path PDJT is pursuing, then having Lindsey look feckless and having Rand Paul imply that Republicans are divided would embolden the other side. And waiting to hold hearings until they have expended their ammunition would make more sense.

Are we seeing a version of “when strong, feign weakness.”

        1. As long as they don’t wait too long. The other side has been rather remarkable in this respect, of making us “follow our own strategy too patiently”.

      1. Besides DJT being President, the other comfort I take is that long before any of these traitorous Senators can move against the President, they’re going to be outed as either corrupt – ill-gotten financial gains from foreign entities, and/or being participants in the attempted Coup.

These are things to keep in mind – there isn’t anything to stop the President from revealing everything he knows about these bad actors.

This is absurd. If he doesn’t think God exists (and it hasn’t been established that that is what he believes, but for the sake of argument, let’s stipulate it), how could he have a grudge against someone/something that (he believes) is non-existent?

That would be like me accusing you of: not believing Zeus exists [I’m 99.9999999% certain you don’t think Zeus exists], and holding a grudge against Zeus. You’d laugh in my face if I were to accuse you of holding a grudge against Zeus.

Yes, we stumble, we struggle, but when we do, we seek reconciliation after. Both with our Creator and with the people we’ve hurt. And we make restitution when that is appropriate. This is the kind of evidence that compels.

          1. FG&C frequently cannot understand or “misunderstands” what people are saying on all sorts of topics, in addition to making ridiculous threats, often in combination. Is he a fool or a knave? The old question.

He affects a “butch” persona, and has a very strange but persistent fascination with homosexual/anal rape, which I documented a while back and which continues.

Long ago I concluded he is a conscious disrupter and plant on this site, but others apparently don’t think so.

As far as just passing him by, I see his icon and just leave the site altogether rather than observe his nauseating behavior, and his implicit disparagement of both God and country. Others apparently have stronger stomachs.

            Liked by 4 people

              1. Do not know what that means.

His replies are often embarrassing because he so often misses the point. And then he mixes in the ridiculous butch stuff, a pretty good indication he has very little self-awareness.

When Steve made the “orange” joke, FG&C’s response was “bullshit.”

“”Bullshit” in response to one of the oldest knock-knock jokes told by mankind?

It is precisely this level of stupidity, incredible stupidity, that makes me think he is an act.

That he would chose the handle he did and then make the hostile, clueless posts he does strikes me as exactly what a troll would do to make people look bad who actually do love God and country.

If “rise to bait” means throwing out nasty little idiocies on purpose to get people going, then I guess you are on the “knave” side of the question.

I have seen his CTH-level nastiness leveled at a number of people here, and yet he is constantly encouraged.

Whenever I see the FC&G icon, I think of Mr. Slave from South Park, except nasty and hostile.

Apparently I am the only one who feels this way, so I just leave whenever I see he is posting.

Your posts have “personal grudge” oozing all through them, Tonawanda, including outright falsehoods.

Remind me, how did I manage to make your hate for me so obviously visceral? We all know it’s not my posting style. You and I got into it somehow, but I can’t remember what it was about (mostly because I don’t hold onto grudges….they aren’t worth remembering for the most part…..particularly those from online anonymous forums).

As for “nasty”, nothing I’ve posted here today comes anywhere NEAR the level of nastiness in your few posts here. In fact, of all the posters taking part in this sub-thread, YOU are the nastiest of all. And you weren’t even a part of the debate.

                Congrats. Hypocrite.

I regret making it sound as if FG&C was exclusively fascinated with anal rape, which might imply more than what is actual fact.

Although whenever I read his “butch” comments I get the image of Mr. Slave on South Park, and that is how I picture FG&C:

I’m proud of you all. You are now showing many times more tolerance of free speech than you were earlier, and you’re USING your free speech. You’re saying what you really believe, without fear.

Things will sort out. By the time I’m done with us, we will all be heroic, taking undeserved insults and attacks on things we love with a CALM STRENGTH that will strike AWE and FEAR into our enemies.

Free speech will EMPOWER US and STRENGTHEN US, and that is why THEY FEAR IT.

In ONE GENERATION we could get rid of mass shootings, and have unlimited RKBA, by RAISING OUR CHILDREN to value free speech, fear God, and respect all men – even their enemies.

        1. Trumpismine, here’s a strange thing… I never thought much about God’s Hand in the election of Donald J Trump – but now that so much of the evil going down in this country has been exposed – far more than just the Obama years, my faith has been strengthened. God heard the cries of His people, and sent someone, who so many considered the least likely (though not us) to come to our aid.

And DJT has. Accomplishing even more than Reagan could because I don’t think he realized just how bad the Deep State was at that time.

          Liked by 12 people

        1. …or that God did not put it in DJT’s heart and mind to consider this challenge, this great undertaking, to lead our nation at this critical point in history.

…or that God did not test and prove DJT throughout his life, preparing him for this moment. God may have done the same to many others as well, but when the time came, DJT answered the call.

I always wonder, because the Scriptures do not say, but for example, how many men did God inquire of, before He got to Abram (later called Abraham, Genesis 17:5, 1 Chronicles 1:27, Nehemiah 9:7), who said yes?

And because Abram said yes, because Abram was faithful, it was to Abram and to his seed (who did not even exist yet, because Abram’s wife Sarai [later called Sarah] was at that time barren) that the promises of God were made.

Abram was 75 years old (Genesis 12:4) when he uprooted his family, gathered up all his substance and people, and left on a journey to a strange land, in obedience to God. 🙂

          1. I’m sure there are many Democrats who think God ordained Hillary Clinton or Barrack Obama to be in their respective positions of political power. Remember how Obama was regularly referred to as The Chosen One?

And I’m sure they also quote scriptures to support their theories.

            Liked by 3 people

            1. Well, we all know how Dems quote Scripture — out of context, twisted to suit their purposes, and in a way that’s calculated to ridiculte traditional Christian beliefs. They are not honest.

              2. And just because you’ve never heard of it, doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened does it? Look at all the TV evangelists who claim God has “rewarded seed money tenfold” to those who contribute to their scam broadcasts.

            2. “I’m sure there are many Democrats who think God ordained Hillary Clinton or Barrack Obama to be in their respective positions of political power.”

Not any intellectually honest ones. A person would have to lie to himself first.

The list of anti-Christian acts by Hussein and Hitlery is long, but as just one example, an intellectually honest person cannot reconcile the abattoirs known as ‘abortion clinics’ or ‘wholesale baby part merchants’ with Christian faith and belief.

It’s like claiming to be a Christian and worshipping the devil at the same time. They can claim to be a Christian (anybody can claim anything), but their actions clearly and indisputably contradict their claim.

“Remember how Obama was regularly referred to as The Chosen One?”

I remember that he was mockingly called the ‘Chosen One’ by many of his critics, because of their correct perception that Hussein was worshipped like a false god by many of his troglodytes.

“And I’m sure they also quote scriptures to support their theories.”

Oh I would surely welcome that fight.

              And have, many times.

On the rare occasion when Hussein or Hitlery try to bumble through a Scripture verse, all it ever does is display their purposeful deception, which is easily exposed.

And it’s no different for their followers.

It’s one of the many amazing things about the Bible.

If you know what it says, if you have read it at least several times or more and you are reasonably familiar with it, you can show that false doctrine is false. There are many ways for someone to try to squirm under or around the plain language of the Scriptures, but it is impossible to do so, without revealing that you are squirming, and that’s the ‘tell’.

It is very difficult to fool people who are actually familiar with the Scriptures (which is one of the reasons God’s people should be familiar with them), and those who abuse and misuse the Scriptures for personal or political gain usually are NOT familiar with it. It takes too much time and effort (at least for the large majority of people) to really become familiar with the Scriptures, unless your motives are pure.

Like everything else, they just use some catch-phrases to ‘signal’ to their useful idiots, giving them some morsel or justification to allow them to continue deceiving themselves.

You just did ask me in a cowardly roundabout way.

So I’ll answer that with all one has to do is read all the posts that claim God made Trump President.

              3. That is not the same as your accusation, but it is unsurprising you would try to conflate the two.

              4. “Ask him about his accusation…’I swear, some of you people appear to think of President Trump as the second coming of Jesus.’

                ….and how he justifies same.”

Well, hyperbole aside, I understand that some people are more enthusiastic than others in the way they publicly express their appreciation to God for giving us a leader like DJT, and I see how that might grate a little on non-believers or those who are much more reserved in their public expression of belief.

I suspect that would apply across the board, i.e., enthusiastic football fans probably grate on those who are more reserved, etc.

I am somewhat reserved in the public exuberance department myself, but not reserved at all about discussing the Scriptures and what they plainly say. I like the rational approach, because it is a foundation on which a case can be presented, whereas enthusiasm is simply shared by those who hear it, or not. Personally I appreciate the exuberance of others, it is edifying, while I also recognize that it may not be to everyone’s taste.

I don’t mean to be on both sides of the issue, and that’s certainly not my usual position, but I do want to be understanding of different perspectives. I like to hammer that stuff out through argument and debate, because it helps me to understand my own positions better (putting time and effort into presenting a coherent case) AND understanding the position of the person I’m conversing with better, because I give them the benefit of the doubt that they are likewise putting effort into presenting a coherent case for their view(s).

As one example that this approach (discussion or debate) works, I did not know that Andy believed in God the Father, Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit.

                That is good to know!

I don’t know that Andy would have had cause to share that, if not for today’s discussion. 👍

              5. Personally, I view Obama as the anti-Christ, and one among others of his ilk. When he gave one of his first speeches after becoming president, at Georgetown. I knew then and there, he was a liar and had scammed his way into the presidency. Asked about abortion, he laughed it off, and said it was, “above his paygrade.” He rode into office on the shoulders of people who control mass communication and the information highway in this country. IMO, the only “god” Obama believes in is himself.

It was also clear that there are some low-information Democrats, who have faith, but were fooled by the man who pretended to be on their side. One of the biggest travesties of Obama’s presidency was the harm he actually did to the Black community.

One of the greatest outcomes of DJT’s presidency will be how he restored not only this country’s sense of self-worth and value in the world as AMERICANS, but also the fact that this man actually lifted the minorities in this country to heights the Dems never intended for them to have.

Now if we can only stop the genocide of the unborn…

        1. I don’t feel that was a negative remark I made about God not voting for President Trump. It was a point of clarification. If people sit back and expect God to elect our leaders, we’ll end up with Democrats in power once again.

And false idolatry of any human being is a sin in The Catholic Faith.

          1. It’s perception, Andy. Many of us view that God had a hand in not only guiding DJT to the presidency, but also guiding us to vote for him. Similarly, many of actually feel stronger now than we did in 2016 about the Hand of Providence upon DJT’s presidency. Not too different from George Washington’s belief that Divine Providence guided him, and those who helped set up this great nation.

As I said, leave out the rebuttals when some of us mention God, and then the rest of what you say is solid. I like you, but even I can see you being snarky whenever HE is mentioned.

We’re good. Just being open and honest in discussion.

              1. You’re angry that people are responding to what they feel are slights and mocking. It comes across as mocking. The Dems mock us enough. OT mocked us for having additional views and a lens in which to perceive what was happening in POTUS’ presidency.

You post as you will, but just understand people will respond. We’re not here to debate or argue God, at least not in terms of denigration. I’m pretty accepting, and often like what you say, but it adds nothing to what we’re trying to accomplish when you appear to attack for beliefs, rather than discussion about the facts.

You want more voters to make sure they reelect DJT. Good – simply say that.

BTW, you’re right. God isn’t going to be casting those votes on Nov. 3rd 2020, but I’m sure going to pray that the Almighty keeps the hearts of men/women strong so that they’ll go vote and give DJT another 4 years. None of us believe this can be done alone.

We believe we need each other. We believe President Trump needs us (and he believes that too). Many also believe that we need Divine Providence to AID in accomplishing this – which for me, is my greatest heart’s desire.

              2. Your own words here are very telling, and prove my point nicely. Why do you feel the need to rebut someone’s post regarding God?

You’ve already answered that. You claim it’s because “I swear, some of you people appear to think of President Trump as the second coming of Jesus.”

So what if some do? Who are YOU to tell them otherwise (never mind the accusation itself is completely without merit).

You are the one WAY out of line, Andy. And your complete loss of emotional control, along with all your insults, proves it.

            1. The last time Andy pulled this same crap was about a week ago when he…once again…responded to someone thanking God with a “yeah but when is he going to give me a million dollars?” post (His favorite line)

              He does this quite often.

Believing in God, and having reverence and respect for God (and other posters’ posts re: same) are two entirely different things.

Even Satan believes in God. Respect for God (and other’s post in thanks and praise of him), however, is an altogether different matter….

…and replying to people’s post thanking/praising God for PDJT or other blessings with “yeah but when is he going to give me a million dollars?” or today’s snide comment has become a habitual pattern with Andy.

I should also like to point out I didn’t engage in any name-calling or insults, unlike Andy.

It’s really quite simple, and your post here hits the point spot on. I knew I wasn’t alone in seeing this from Andy. And frankly, I don’t think it is too much to demand he stop doing it.

            2. Since you mentioned George Washington, let me point out that the Indians viewed GW as “The Man Who Cannot Be Killed In Battle”. They attributed that characteristic to the sky spirits favoring him.

Not God, as we understand Him today. One of the more famous paintings of GW shows him kneeling in the snow next to his horse with his head bowed. Everyone at that time knew that GW was a man who lived his belief in Almighty God.

On this site especially, it is wrong to deliberately denigrate another person’s spiritual beliefs. Benign indifference is the way to deal with different belief systems. However, worshiping communism (should one sneak by wolfie) is a different kettle of smelly fish …

  5. hope Barr tells them to pound sand…FOIA signed by 3 Dem Senators…
Trump has since publicly asked China and Ukraine to probe what the Bidens did in those countries, the Senators noted in the letter, and several associates of Trump’s lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, have been charged with funneling foreign money to U.S. lawmakers. They also cited a report, relying on anonymous sources, claiming Giuliani pressed for help in an Oval Office meeting with Trump in 2017 in securing the release of a jailed client, Iranian-Turkish gold trader Reza Zarrab.

“These factual revelations raise serious concerns about the Justice Department’s involvement in politically-motivated investigations, at the behest of the White House and Rudy Giuliani,” they wrote. “Therefore, we submit a request for records seeking information about the White House’s attempts to interfere with federal law enforcement to pursue politically beneficial outcomes.”

The FOIA request asked for all memoranda, correspondence, or memorialized conversations with, to, or from Attorney General William Barr containing any one or more of dozens of phrases, including “Rudy,” “quid pro quo,” and “Zelensky.”

They asked Barr for a response within 10 business days.

Analysts? Might that include Ciarramella? Hmmmmmm……

Oh, So That’s What NBC News Buried In Their Story About AG Barr Expanding Russia Origins Probe

      1. The topic of your whole post here has gotten precious little attention in the past week or so but it is spot on.

In a nutshell….Barr and Durham are zeroing in on the ORIGINS of the basis for the Mueller SC, and THAT is the heart of the true storm of the Big Ugly. This is the true source of democrat panic and desperate attempts to distract everyone with their impeachment BS.

        1. Very frequently in “evolving conspiracies” and “cascading conspiracies”, the deeply “at risk” players (could be low-level, could be high-level) are leveraged in subsequent phases or spawned conspiracies, for the simple reason that their commitment to success is extremely STRONG, and they will “go the extra mile”.

      1. Yep.

She couldn’t beat DJT last time, when ALL the advantages were hers.

Now he has an actual record of incredible accomplishment to run on, huge inroads with blacks and Hispanics, a strong economy, building the wall and fulfilling all of his other promises, getting us out of meaningless wars…

And he has all the advantages of incumbency.

So DJT is a hundred times stronger, while she’s just weaker, older and nastier… and even more crooked 😁

  8. It has appeared to me that the Board Owner has been running a distraction operation for a while now. Nearly all the work that Q has done has set the table for citizen journalists, PDJT tweets and other channels to carry the ball forward quite capably.

Keeping the board offline while dancing around and creating much ado about nothing has got to have burned up resources on the other side while costing our side very little. And yes, metrics are being collected.

          1. I’m merely insulting them for insults sake. Their war on Christianity and it’s values are both very real and very well thought out. If they weren’t, AG Barr would not have made the speech on Christianity and religious liberty he did last week.

I think our common reaction to liberals claiming Christmas trees are religious symbols…in an obvious effort to ban them from public spaces….is to mock and ridicule them.

              1. This appropriation of barbarian symbols has gone too far! Garden store gnomes – demeaning team names like “Vikings” – when will the hate end???!!! I’m calling Pocahontas – she will understand! Christmas trees belong in Germany! 😉

          1. I wouldn’t say I love it as much as it fits like a glove where progressives are concerned, as this meme so accurately portrays.

But then again you hold some emotional online grudge against me, so if anything it’s YOU who just loves to make this particular projection onto me.

Remind me….what was it we got into that makes your hate burn so bright that you would reveal so much nastiness in yourself?

            1. 1) Your persistent go-to imagery of sadistic violence disgusts me, but that’s just me. Go back and check out your posts, and keep in mind that the sadistic imagery has also been aimed at QTH members, not progressives.

              2) Your readiness to attack QTH members so readily. I realize there may be some explanation, such as the time you got drunk and attacked a member and drove her off. So, it is possible you are simply a drunk poster, a clueless asshole who needs to vent. It does concern me that you fly planes, or at least say you do.

              3) Your use of God and Country on top of posts notable for their stupidity and nastiness. You are unaware of the fact, but you are incapable of understanding a discussion and responding logically or reasonably. You make people who love God and country appear to be the dumb, angry nitwits that leftists falsely portray.

              4) Your totally witless and bizarre condescension, which reflects not only that you have zero comprehension on how to deal with human beings, but also zero understanding of your limitations. You are a shining example of the Dunning-Kruger affect.

              5) I may be a minority of one, but I am especially disgusted and resentful how your special and distinctive approach to discussion with other people reminds me of the clueless assholes who ruined CTH.

  12. I think we all sensed on some level that Twitter influence was dominated by a small group of people, but a Pew
Research study actually did the math:

    – 10% of users created 80% of tweets from U.S. adults

    – Just 6% of U.S. adults on Twitter account for 73% of tweets about national politics.

    – Only 22% of U.S. adults even have a Twitter account

    – A majority of the prolific political tweeters (55%) say they identify as either “very liberal” or “very conservative.”

    – Those who strongly approve of President Trump generated 25% of all tweets mentioning national politics. But those who strongly disapprove of Trump generated 72% of all tweets mentioning national politics. (They’re also responsible for 80% of all tweets from U.S. adults on the platform.)

“End Endless Wars. A new MAGA sub brand added to Build the Wall, Cut Regulations, Tax Cut Reform, America First, USMCA…

I thought it was some interesting political discussion.

Uninteresting and boring – more divisiveness due to trolling comments re: Christians expressing religious thoughts. Express & then don’t take the bait. We have a childish attention seeking troll on that topic in our midst that needs to be ignored not fed and rewarded for such immature displays.

  14. At about the 1:50 minute mark, a protester is asked if he disavows Antifa violence? His reply is, “No, … I think violence is a useful political tool.”

That tells us all we need to know about progressives.

These are the same people who love to say “One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter” in justifying the use of terrorism as a geopolitical tool. See: PLO/Hamas/Hezbollah etc.

Hit him hard for being owned by Apple/Google now and questioned why he’s now in both of their App stores and why he’s pushing his apps so hard. Mentioned his dominance in the aggregator business and how Torba’s new might be a more unbiased option.

    1. Thank God, this is happening in Texas, and not California.

No judge (or jury) should be allowed to cause such harm. Involved is a mentally ill woman (mother) who is being given “rights” that she should not have. This is what happens when a society accepts all depravity and decadence as normal.

There’s practically no longer a use for the DSM V – “Diagnostic, Statistical Manual of Psychiatric Disorders”. Psychiatrists have abandoned their profession – or at least the half who are in charge – they’ve made mental illnesses “normal” – a disaster.

      1. Correct me if I am wrong, but my understanding is that the “mother” is not the boy’s biological mother, whereas the father is.

Whatever the case may be, thank you Gov. Abbott!

    2. Had know idea mom was only the egg donor and is going to have the twin chemically castrated. So now doubling down on my suspicions by reposting my earlier comment from yesterday.

“Haven’t looked at this very closely but my guess is Dr. Pediatrician mom is using the child as a human guinea pig and is pimping out rights for other like minded to come in and do case studies on her kid while she is likely doing the same. Doing it for the professional notoriety and likely what ever money that also generates. This is one experiment that won’t be done double blind fashion but instead will get all the pokes, prods and stimuli that lab rats get as the subject is herded through moms maze toward a desired out come.”

Are there no laws against having a child where the purpose is for human experimentation?
This has obviously been thought out in advance. What’s in the best interest of the child seems to be secondary to this woman/these people.

  15. Off topic but I found a website which details the pay scales for Federal employees including law enforcement.

“ is a free public resource for United States Government employees. We have pay tables and pay calculators for all four major Federal Government pay scales and military service members, as well as a wealth of information on Per Diem rates, Federal holidays, a government employee database and more.”

Through 2017, there are 1,339,645 Federal employees over 375 agencies. The average salary is $69,344.22 (whoa). We spent $92.9 billion in total Federal employee compensation for 2017.

This all started because I wanted to find out who was in charge of GDP data at the BEA. Her name is Lisa Mataloni! And this website profiles her.

She started in 2005 earning $65,853 and by 2017 she earned $103,639.

Anyways lots of cool stuff in here. As an example….

Here are a list of the Federal departments, number of personnel and their budgets!

Private website with data gleaned from the OMB .It is pretty geeky but maybe one of you will enjoy this resource.

    2. Of course, as most of us know, rules are meaningless unless they are enforced. And the level of enforcement all depends on whether there is an (R) or a (D) after your name.

    3. the sex relationship is (IMO) beyond the jurisdiction of the House rules since it was well underway before she won the election. It is NOT what the rule was intended to reach, which was a staffer coming to work for a congresscritter already in congress.

The sex scandal is for the voters to deal with. IMO the donkeys are using this situation in order to cover and distract the masses with lurid but inconsequential stuff.

The conservatives need to back off before this episode goes in a weird direction. Her lousy morals pale in the light of all the treason and pay-for-play crap going on in the Congress.
