Dear KMAG: 20191022 Open Topic

This ROCKTOBER [22] [PLACEHOLDER] TUESDAY open thread is VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA / KAG! / KMAG world (KMAG being a bit of both MAGA and KAG!).

You can say what you want, comment on what other people said, and so on.

Free Speech is practiced here. ENJOY IT. Use it or lose it.

Keep it SOMEWHAT civil. They tried to FORCE fake Orwellian civility on us. In response, we CHOOSE true civility to defend our precious FREEDOM from THEM.

Our rules began with the civility of the Old Treehouse, later to become the Wolverinian Empire, and one might say that we have RESTORED THE OLD REPUBLIC – the early high-interaction model of the Treehouse – except of course that Q discussion is not only allowed but encouraged, and speech is considerably freer in other ways. Please feel free to argue and disagree with the board owner, as nicely as possible.

Please also consider the Important Guidelines, outlined here in the January 1st open thread. Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven.

Our movement

Is about replacing

A failed

Political establishment

With a new government controlled

By you, the American People.

Candidate Donald J. Trump

Also remember Wheatie’s Rules:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

Are you enjoying ROCKTOBER? I hope so. I know I am.

ENJOY IT with me.

President Trump & Melania share traditional Japanese dinner with Prime Minister Abe & wife.

I left the above post “as is”, and simply add these thoughts upon my return.

First of all, it’s good to be back. It was good to get away for a while, but I missed being connected to America. I missed being connected to our little machine by which we understand what is REALLY happening. I missed my good company which is so easily taken for granted.

I missed Y’ALL, one might say.

I had many thoughts during my journey. One thing was very clear to me, and I wanted to say this over and over again.

“Travel still broadens the mind, despite globalism.”

While there are still differences, those differences allow us to see what is possible. So I have to ask myself – how could anything which prevents us from broadening our minds be good?

And then, what I see in spite of this – seemingly KNOWINGLY in spite of this, is a complex con game perpetrated on humanity, in which we are all asked not merely to set aside differences – to “live and let live” – but to EACH FEEL OBLIGATED TO ELIMINATE OUR OWN DIFFERENCES.

Everybody is being asked to eliminate THEIR differences.

At which point I interrupt, against the rules, and very politely interject a simple question:

That is before I even begin to ask the questions of WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, WHY and HOW.

SO – you may notice that I have some questions upon my return – questions not only because I quite literally MISSED an entire week of real news and analysis, but questions that include very basic ones which result from the simple fact of a travel-broadened mind, despite globalism.

And that’s not counting the effects of jet lag, which you may notice, too! *wink*

Anyway, there will be some posts coming, based on my journey. Very soon.

Thank you all, and HUGS.

It’s good to be home.

  1. Added to timeline:
October 18-20-21st: Pelosi, Schiff, and company took off for Jordan and Afghanistan over the weekend to do “oversight” of the President’s Foreign Policy. Def Sec Esper, who is also in Afghanistan, said he is leaving some troops in Syria at request of Israel and to help the Kurds defend against ISIS (no sourcing, no specific quotes, just swirling innuendo) If Esper really said it, he should resign for countermanding CIC. Still digging for what he really said. Media makes it difficult to get exact quotes now. From Military Times:

  5. so if the Statue of Liberty is not overtly feminine (because the sculptor may have screwed it up), it must be a man in drag…

Long referred to as “Lady Liberty,” the torch-wielding statue that once greeted immigrants as they made their way to New York City may hold an unexpected secret. She may have actually been based on a man.

HBO’s new documentary, “Liberty: Mother of Exiles,” explores the history of one of the most famous statues in the world. And while the history of the Statue of Liberty has always been part fact, part rumors, co-director Randy Barbato shared with Salon one of his favorite theories — that she was based on sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi’s brother.

The theory first came about back in 2016, established by writer Elizabeth Mitchell. She was exploring the commonly held idea that Bartholdi based the Statue of Liberty on his mother when she realized family photos told a different story.

“As I was looking at it more carefully, the structure of the face isn’t really the same. [His mother] has a more arched eyebrow, has a thinner nose, has thinner lips, even in her youth,” she said. “And he was a bust-maker … and was known for his accuracy.”

“Going through photos he had in his files of his brother, I started to look at the face more carefully, and it really did look to be like Liberty. His brother in his adult years had actually gone mad, and it was Bartholdi’s task to go once a week to visit, sometimes [spending] hours just staring at his brother, who was not speaking.”

The possibility that one of the most iconic monuments of the United States is essentially a giant drag queen is seriously gay rights. []

    1. These activists see everything through the lens of their perversion…..they claim Biblical characters, David and Jonathan are gay, Ruth and Naomi are lesbian. They just can’t imagine a non-sexual same sex friendship.

      1. At one time I traveled with a female family member who happened to be a basketball coach/athletic director with very short hair, no make up and dressed in no-nonsense wardrobe. I was the opposite. In our travels, we enjoyed fine dining in excellent restaurants…often our evening entertainment. I often thought that the vast majority of those around us thought we were a lesbian couple and I’ve made an effort to go out of my way to not assign labels to others since then.

      2. My five yr old stepson, out of the blue, was standing in the kitchen on day and asked me, “Miss Daughn, what’s a lesbian?”
His father was sitting at the kitchen peninsula and backed out of the room, silently laughing because I drew the question.
Not wanting to elaborate too much due to his age, I replied, “Well honey, it’s women who love other women.”
He seemed satisfied and started to help me make dinner. Awkward silence.
A few minutes later, he broke the silence and said……….. “So you and grandma are lesbians, right?”

Didn’t go the way I planned.

        1. “So you and grandma are lesbians, right?”

The word your little one is actually looking for is saheli (plural: saheliyan.)

It doesn’t have an exact English equivalent*, but in Hindi it means the female friend of a female.

Though in lesbian circles in India it is now sometimes pressed into service to mean “lesbian girlfriend”, that is not at all its original meaning, and is still clearly a subculture’s derivation from its primary meaning.

*Hindi relationship terms being famously more numerous and typically much more narrow in meaning than English relationship terms.

    3. While this is probably a lot of wishful thinking, the truth is that many sculptors would recreate what they knew. Michelangelo was a prime example. His women were far more manly than they should have been.

I don’t know about Lady Liberty, though. I’ve never seen a resemblance to a man there. But, then, I wasn’t looking for it, either.

  9. I have thoughts on the pedo stuff.

Due to the way we are created, I think it might be more of a temptation for men. This is because God made (most) women to be nurturing, so the idea of sex with a child violates the same kind of inner controls that keeps us from eating poop.

God puts compassion in our hearts and a desire to protect those who are smaller and more vulnerable.

Also I think most women are genetically created to be attracted to strong men who can take care of them which frees them to care for their children. We swoon over muscles and strength, but also intellectual brilliance and wisdom. These are qualities that we find in mature men, and most of us like them to be at least as old or older than us because we don’t want to have to “mother” our husbands.

Men are created to prefer younger, fertile women and even for me…seeing some of the sexually mature young girls of 15 or 16…it is hard to condemn a man, particularly a young man, for being attracted to someone of this age when it can be so hard to tell the difference.

There are definitely exceptions..l know there are female teachers and other examples, but I think these women must have gotten very far from God.

I did some reading about the influences of Luciferianism in our society. I recommend this to no one.

But when you look at some of their basic beliefs—particularly the desire to eradicate the idea of good and evil—it is easy to see how those beliefs have corrupted our society. The idea of moral relativism is an idea that seems quite reasonable, but does away with a clear and God given sense of right and wrong…. anything goes.

Now the only evil that seems to exist for many indoctrinated individuals is that of judging behavior as right or wrong.

I do recommend that people read about George Brock Chisholm, the Canadian Dr. who was the first head of WHO and deeply involved in the structure and formation of WFMH. Read also his influence on the education system in our country and the acceptance of his ideas by the UN, our mental health professionals, and our educators,

Chisholm seemed to think that a moral upbringing, a Christian upbringing which instills a sense of right and wrong and the accompanying guilt for transgressing, was child abuse. Instead, he decreed, a child must be brought up to be a (tractable) member of society…..And freed from the guilt of morality.

Once we see where these ideas come from and the devastation and suffering that result from them, it becomes easier to stay strong and engage in the political struggle to return our country to greatness.

This, I am convinced, is what truly drives the President and Melania…and most of us. We understand that we are engaged in a struggle of good vs evil.

We all have a circle of influence in which we can help wake people up.

God grant us each the wisdom and strength and favor to fulfill our calling and may God protect our families and loved ones as we do so.

    1. It’s plainly unconstitutional. The Supreme Court ruled on that in 2000 IIRC. Name of the case was Troxel vs Granville, which started out here in WA state as Custody of Smith.

Holding of the case was that biological parent’s custodial rights ALWAYS are superior to any other claim of custody except in a child dependency proceeding. If memory serves, the ruling was unanimous.

  13. Dealing Wisely With Temptation

    OCTOBER 22, 2019

James 1:13-15 Let no one say when he is tempted, I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. 15 Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death.

Temptation will be with us as long as we live. Although the areas of enticement and their power over us will change with time, we will never be so mature or spiritually minded that we can totally relax our vigilance against them. Satan is always ready to capitalize on our weaknesses and selfish desires to draw us away from the heavenly Father.

James says we are tempted when we are carried away by our own lusts. Therefore, the problem begins within us when we feel the pull of our flesh to think, speak, or do what is contrary to God’s standard of holiness. Although being tempted is not a sin in itself, yielding to it is. When we dwell on a tempting thought, the idea gains a foothold in our mind and desires. With more attention, the desire will grow until a choice must be made about whether or not to act.

At the same time, we shouldn’t think that holding onto sinful desires is fine as long as we don’t actually do anything. Jesus debunked this idea in the Sermon on the Mount when He enlarged the Law’s commandments to include not just actions but also attitudes of the heart (Matt. 5:21-48). Anything less than God’s standard of holiness is not His will for us (Matt. 5:48 Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect).

Temptations start small. Yielding to them may seem inconsequential, but once we give in, that sin gains strength in our life and our ability to resist grows weaker. It may seem as if there’s no way out of this downward spiral, but God has given us a way of escape if we choose to seek out His help (1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it).

  14. Hes probably on the back 9 at this point. Carter broke his pelvis.

Former President Jimmy Carter is in the hospital again after falling and fracturing his pelvis Monday evening at his home in Plains, Georgia.

Carter Center spokeswoman Deanne Congileo described the fracture as minor. Her statement said the 95-year-old is in good spirits and looking forward to recovering at home.

This is the third time Carter has fallen in recent months. He first fell in the spring and required hip replacement surgery. Carter fell again this month and despite receiving 14 stitches, traveled the next day to Nashville, Tennessee to rally volunteers and help build a Habitat for Humanity home.

Carter is the oldest living former president in U.S. history. He and his wife, 91-year-old Rosalynn, recently became the longest married first couple. They surpassed George and Barbara Bush with more than 73 years of marriage.

    1. Maybe it’s time for those SJW snowflakes to face a REAL crisis like their grandparents and great-grandparents did!

Then they’d know the difference between a REAL emergency and a FAKE emergency.

I had a Jewish cello professor who, with her sister, escaped the Nazis in WWII via the Dutch underground, barely making it. She said to me one time, more than 45 years ago, “the trouble with your generation is, you HAVEN’T SUFFERED ENOUGH”…

Her words still ring true, all these years (and generations, no less) later. What she and people of her era (my parents, for instance) went through brings a great deal of perspective and maturity to bear which few, if any, of today’s SJWs seem to have. They’re too busy with their noses stuck in their i-Things to even care; barely able to distinguish reality from imagination, they seek to escape into “Virtual Reality”, or, “Enhanced Reality” at any chance they get, particularly when “the going gets tough”.

I rather expect that the snowflakes’ motto is: “When the going gets tough, the tough go virtual”… But in their case, we’re not seeing “articifial intelligence”, we’re seeing REAL STUPIDITY…

        1. See? We find things to do we did not have time to do because we are tied up in the Internet – when I finally got up and running again – I had quite a mess to clean – Was locked out of all of my accounts – but, I remembered something a loving friend told me years ago…

Mile by Mile – it will take a while – Yard by Yard – it is pretty hard – but – Inch by Inch – it is a Cinch!!!

Have a Blessed Day, Dear PR!!! God loves you and so do we!!!

      1. Holy CRAP. I never considered that Cuccinelli might have been CHEATED out of a win. I do know that the CANKLES MACHINE funded the libertarian candidate (Sarvis, I think it was) against him to dramatically reduce his votes.

        1. And the Cankles bag man McAuliffe became Governor in the process.

I saw a story that posited the idea that PDJT won in WI by somehow forcing an accurate count of the votes for Jill Stein. The story suggested that the movement of votes from Republicans to independent candidates is a tried and true mechanism. Recounts do not uncover this because they concentrate on the two candidates who were close at the end, and ignore the votes that went to the independent candidates who were not close to winning.

I was stunned when McAuliffe beat Cuccinelli, and this would explain why. However, I must admit I have only a gut feel to go on here.

          1. OMG – I see what you’re saying. And YES – it makes TONS of sense. Sarvis won a HUGE percentage for a Libertarian – surprisingly large. I was shocked. THIS EXPLAINS IT.

It’s not that these smaller candidates are so strong – they’re used as /dev/null to siphon off votes.

OMG – that is EVIL. Soviet Democrats are JUST. PLAIN. EVIL.

    1. From the article:

Cuccinelli is favored by hard-liners in part because of his efforts to make it harder for immigrants to obtain legal permanent residency by denying green cards to those who use or are likely to use government benefits, including Medicaid and food stamps. Morgan has been on the front lines of recent efforts to curtail immigration at the border.

Advocates for more immigration restrictions who work inside and outside the White House argue that picking someone like Wolf would continue a pattern of installing DHS leaders who do not support the president’s tough immigration agenda. The news was first reported by Politico.

“On Monday, a jury ruled against a Texas father, Jeffrey Younger, attempting to stop his seven-year-old son from a gender transition being facilitated by Dr. Anne Georgulas, the boy’s mother and Younger’s ex-wife.

“With a consensus of 11 of the 12 jurors, the jury decided not to grant Mr. Younger Sole Managing Conservatorship over his two twin boys,” LifeSiteNews reported Monday. “They voted that the current Joint Managing Conservatorship should be replaced by a Sole Managing Conservatorship, but that Mr. Younger should not be that person.”

    1. “The father noted that, in his opinion, he witnessed that his wife “was only giving [James] love and affection when he was acting like a girl.” She used to lock James in his room and tell him monsters only eat boys, Younger added.

“Every. Single. Day. You have to see your son sexually abused, and you have to maintain your calm,” the Texas father continued, “because the courts are not going to be fair to you. And the only way you can survive this and get your son through this alive is to calmly allow your son to be tortured right before your eyes and outlast the opposition. That’s what it’s like.”

“They’re asking me to affirm a delusion,” he said.”

        1. You may actually be right. There was a case back during the Clinton administration (before “trans” kids became an actual public thing), where a mom began painting the nails of her kindergarten boy and treating him like a girl. The woman was diagnosed as BORDERLINE and lost custody because of OTHER signs of her mental illness. The painting of nails was noted, but that was not the decider in taking the kids from her.

I am convinced that public “transmania” is an actual SOCIAL PSYCHOSIS. People now simply need to AFFIRM IT to essentially “adopt the insanity”.

Forcing a child to behave as the OTHER gender that the parent wants is NOT a new disorder – it is an age-old delusion. What has happened is that this ancient disorder has been made politically correct and a virtue signal.

This is an anti-human attack on our species and civilization.

  18. John Bel Edwards won Governor of LA by 66% last time.
If he would have reached 50% in the jungle primary, he would have been reelected.
Trump rally in Lake Charles the night before the election caused an historic turnout and overturned HUNDREDS of local seats, some of which have been Dem since Reconstruction in the 1870’s.
and the Governor only hit 46-47% in the jungle primary, down 20% from his last election.

And now, the race is listed as a tossup. It’s time to gain a Governor slot in Louisiana for the Republicans and send a message to Nancy Pelosi in DC – Impeachment will not work here.

  21. Sooooo, the DNC server that Trump is talking about is a different server, used by Gaeta (the FBI guy in Rome) to configure blackberries in Ukraine, used by Bidens and that whole crew????
    To get around the NSA?
    I’m confused now.
I gave up on George Webb a couple of years ago, but this popped up today.

    1. Personally, I’m waiting for the flowchart on how all this fits together. It will probably be the length of the wall on the southern border, but keeping it all straight is starting to resemble a Spanish novel…or the local Irish population.

    2. Was talking to a diplomat the other day and asked about phone security. She tells me that diplomats who want to discourage the US from listening in on their conversations use blackberries.

  22. Funny from FB:

A senior citizen drove his brand new Corvette convertible out of the dealership. Taking off down the road, he floored it to 80 mph, enjoying the wind blowing through what little gray hair he had left. Amazing, he thought as he flew down I-94, pushing the pedal even more.

Looking in his rear view mirror, he saw a state trooper behind him, lights flashing and siren blaring. He floored it to 100 mph, then 110, then 120. Suddenly he thought, What am I doing? I’m too old for this, and pulled over to await the trooper’s arrival.

Pulling in behind him, the trooper walked up to the Corvette, looked at his watch, and said, “Sir, my shift ends in 30 minutes. Today is Friday. If you can give me a reason for speeding that I’ve never heard before, I’ll let you go.”

The old gentleman paused. Then he said, “Years ago, my wife ran off with a state trooper. I thought you were bringing her back.”

“Have a good day, sir,” replied the trooper.
