“Former FBI general counsel James Baker met during the 2016 season with at least one attorney from Perkins Coie, the Democratic National Committee’s private law firm.”

How the [SPY OP] re: Russia hacking + POTUS-Russia False Narrative + Installation of Mueller was CONSTRUCTED.
“Britain, Australia and New Zealand have accused Russian military intelligence of carrying out a worldwide campaign of “malicious” cyber attacks, including the hacking of the US Democratic National Committee in 2016.
Why now?

“Elemental’s servers could be found in Department of Defense data centers, the CIA’s drone operations, and the onboard networks of Navy warships.”
“Multiple people familiar with the matter say investigators found that the chips had been inserted at factories run by manufacturing subcontractors in China.”
“One official says investigators found that it eventually affected almost 30 companies, including a major bank, government contractors, and the world’s most valuable company, Apple Inc.”
“One country in particular has an advantage executing this kind of attack: China, which by some estimates makes 75 percent of the world’s mobile phones and 90 percent of its PCs.”
“But that’s just what U.S. investigators found: The chips had been inserted during the manufacturing process, two officials say, by operatives from a unit of the People’s Liberation Army. In Supermicro, China’s spies appear to have found a perfect conduit for what U.S. officials now describe as the most significant supply chain attack known to have been carried out against American companies.”

It appears that it is time to dig in and pull together whatever details are out in the public domain. Hopefully some of our excellent authors can take the results, clean them up and post something good and devastating here at the WQTH.

              1. Good point. It’s been a tough week. I don’t mind reposting Ozzy’s excellent finds in the Open thread if she would like that. I guess you can now be sure I am NOT mr. Wolfmoon.

              2. After a good long rest and some time to *think* I’d like to answer your question more fully.

First of all, mea culpa for fussing at Ozzy. Probably could have spoken more kindly. However, this is NOT the open thread. You could think of it as more of a break-out meeting with a specific purpose announced at the beginning of the meeting.

Therefore I am grateful that Ozzy and I were able to discuss and agree to a plan for Ozzy to repost the OT comments over on the open thread and that the duplicates here would be removed. I regret that replies by Cuppa were lost in the process.

Hopefully the value of free speech and the value of supportive community have not suffered in the interests of creating a laser-focused news-on-Crowdstrike discussion on this thread.

  2. I wrote this a while ago in regard to the massive amount of data being hoovered up on each and every one of us, usually without either our knowledge or permission. Google’s treasure trove of information makes them an ideal partner/source for the deep state and the DEMONcRATs, as we’re seeing now. I can’t stress enough how this article, and the book, show the connections between Eric Schmidt, Hill-the-BEAST, and links both mentioned and implied between them and the deep state (and the pit of Hell)…

Google is a major player in this, if not THE major player. With their treasure-trove of information, both of data to be searched, and queries against it (which can often be MORE revealing than the data itself), they, along with Farcebørk, Amazon, Twitter, Credit Reporting Agencies and the Medical and Insurance Industries know more about each and every one of us. Vance Packard, in 1964, penned “The Naked Society”, warning us that ever-increasing computing power, coupled with total surveillance, could take us down a road of ruin: no freedom, no free will, in short, no hope. It seems Google, et. al., are doing their best to further that nightmare.

From the article “Google Is Not What It Seems” ( https://wikileaks.org/google-is-not-what-it-seems )

In this extract from his new book “When Google Met Wikileaks”, WikiLeaks’ publisher Julian Assange describes the special relationship between Google, Hillary Clinton and the State Department — and what that means for the future of the internet.

The first couple of paragraphs are quite revealing, especially considering the article and book cover the period from 2011 to 2014.

Eric Schmidt is an influential figure, even among the parade of powerful characters with whom I have had to cross paths since I founded WikiLeaks. In mid-May 2011 I was under house arrest in rural Norfolk, about three hours’ drive northeast of London. The crackdown against our work was in full swing and every wasted moment seemed like an eternity. It was hard to get my attention. But when my colleague Joseph Farrell told me the executive chairman of Google wanted to make an appointment with me, I was listening.

In some ways the higher echelons of Google seemed more distant and obscure to me than the halls of Washington. We had been locking horns with senior US officials for years by that point. The mystique had worn off. But the power centers growing up in Silicon Valley were still opaque and I was suddenly conscious of an opportunity to understand and influence what was becoming the most influential company on earth. Schmidt had taken over as CEO of Google in 2001 and built it into an empire.

I was intrigued that the mountain would come to Muhammad. But it was not until well after Schmidt and his companions had been and gone that I came to understand who had really visited me.

    * * *

The stated reason for the visit was a book. Schmidt was penning a treatise with Jared Cohen, the director of Google Ideas, an outfit that describes itself as Google’s in-house “think/do tank.” I knew little else about Cohen at the time. In fact, Cohen had moved to Google from the US State Department in 2010. He had been a fast-talking “Generation Y” ideas man at State under two US administrations, a courtier from the world of policy think tanks and institutes, poached in his early twenties. He became a senior advisor for Secretaries of State Rice and Clinton. At State, on the Policy Planning Staff, Cohen was soon christened “Condi’s party-starter,” channeling buzzwords from Silicon Valley into US policy circles and producing delightful rhetorical concoctions such as “Public Diplomacy 2.0.” On his Council on Foreign Relations adjunct staff page he listed his expertise as “terrorism; radicalization; impact of connection technologies on 21st century statecraft; Iran.”
    (end excerpt)

And another excerpt. It seems the original article has been banished to the realms of the wayback machine, perhaps for stepping on more than a few toes. Here’s a link from the internet archive:

And where Assange sees that Eric Schmidt is more than what he seems to be:

It was at this point that I realized Eric Schmidt might not have been an emissary of Google alone. Whether officially or not, he had been keeping some company that placed him very close to Washington, DC, including a well-documented relationship with President Obama. Not only had Hillary Clinton’s people known that Eric Schmidt’s partner had visited me, but they had also elected to use her as a back channel. While WikiLeaks had been deeply involved in publishing the inner archive of the US State Department, the US State Department had, in effect, snuck into the WikiLeaks command center and hit me up for a free lunch. Two years later, in the wake of his early 2013 visits to China, North Korea, and Burma, it would come to be appreciated that the chairman of Google might be conducting, in one way or another, “back-channel diplomacy” for Washington. But at the time it was a novel thought.11

The article is stunning, even though somewhat dated. It reveals the evil relationships between the high-tech and social-media world with the swamp in Washington D.C: and elsewhere. Data demons, one might say.
Even the footnotes have a wealth of information, and are well worth the read.

The Atlantic Council Digital Forensic Lab Decides Which Social Media Posts Are “Bad”

. . . The Reuter’s Article from August of 2018 goes on to explain the indictments against 13 people and 3 companies, Russians, who meddled in our elections. Yet today, their case is falling apart in a DC federal court. Additionally, we know the US Intel Community relied on Crowdstrike as the only entity to examine the DNC servers. We now know the basic premise of Crowdstrike theory (D-30 Howitzer tracking software was hacked in Ukraine was similar to the hack at DNC – both done by Cozy Bear) fell apart in March-April of 2017 when we learned the D30’s were not hacked, and Crowdstrike was forced to retract in May of 2017. Yet the entire press and intel community still persists, “Russia is our boogeyman”…… but the animosity toward Russia is based on a failed Crowdstrike report and 4 people in a “lab” or 12’x 12′ office in DC, founded by Obama partisans? Where is the proof?

The lab was founded by Brookie, a National Security Council advisor in the last four years of the Obama administration. Ben Nimmo is a co-founder. He joined after stints as a journalist covering the Baltic states as they sparred with Russia a decade ago and as a spokesman for NATO on Russia and Ukraine. On a recent visit to the head office, the often-traveling Washington staff of four were packed around three desks pushed to the center of the room.

    1. Schiff Sent Staffer To Ukraine In Aug Met With Impeach Witness, Crowdstrike, And More
      by Jeff Dunetz | Oct 18, 2019 | Crime/Corruption

As William Shakespeare wrote in Hamlet, “Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.” Something’s rotten with Adam Schiff, more rotten than usual. At the same time, the whistleblower was filing his report, Adam Schiff sent his staffer Thomas Eager to Ukraine to meet its former President, an organization whose staff included the co-founder of Crowdstrike and the acting US Ambassador to Ukraine, Bill Taylor, who next week will be a witness in Schiff’s current impeachment witch hunt. The trip and the meetings were not illegal, but the fact that Schiff kept them secret is an indication that this entire mess has been a set up from the start.

This ‘whistleblower’ issue is shaping up to look an awful lot like the Kavanaugh shakedown all over again, isn’t it?

. . . But think back to the actual transcript of Trump’s phone call with the Ukrainian president. What was the favor… it wasn’t Biden — they didn’t even talk about him until later. Trump wanted to know something about it… Crowdstrike and the hacked(?) Hillary server that Feds never actually got their hands on. The foreign interference with the 2016 election, which was first outlined by Politico. “Ukrainian government officials tried to help Hillary Clinton and undermine Trump by publicly questioning his fitness for office. They also disseminated documents implicating a top Trump aide in corruption and suggested they were investigating the matter, only to back away after the election. And they helped Clinton’s allies research damaging information on Trump and his advisers [Paul Manafort], a Politico investigation found.

While the MSM never mentions it, when President Trump said “do us a favor” on the infamous phone call with Ukrainian Presiden Zelensky, he was asking about Crowdstrike and possible Ukrainian interference in the 2016 Election,

I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike… I guess you have one of your wealthy people… The server, they say Ukraine has it. There are a lot of things that went on, the whole situation. I think you’re surrounding yourself with some of the same people. I would like to have the Attorney General call you or your people and I would like you to get to the bottom of it. As you saw yesterday, that whole nonsense ended with a very poor performance by a man named Robert Mueller, an incompetent performance, but they say a lot of it started with Ukraine. Whatever you can do, it’s very important that you do it if that’s possible.

Oh, look, what a coincidence! The Co-Founder of Crowdstrike is a Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council. Well, that’s if one believes in coincidences–especially in this case–I don’t.

In addition to Gonzalez, the whistleblower also has connections to Crowdstrike, the firm that is owned by Ukrainian Dmitri Alperovitch. 3. Time To Reassess CrowdStrike’s Credibility
Trump foes dismiss any scrutiny of CrowdStrike as part of a “conspiracy theory.” But the tangled web between CrowdStrike, Democratic operatives, the Trump-hating media and the Obama Justice Department isn’t a theory, it is fact.
      Julie Kelly – October 7th, 2019

. . . Henry was presented to viewers as the channel’s “national security analyst,” but there was one title the network overlooked: Shawn Henry is a top executive for Crowdstrike, the cybersecurity firm hired by the Democratic National Committee to investigate the infamous hack of its email system in early 2016. Perhaps not coincidentally, the firm determined that the Russians were behind the intrusion. Crowdstrike’s June 2016 assessment remains the sole source of evidence to supply the pretext of the government’s Russian election interference claim; later, it would help bolster the Trump-Russia collusion fable.

The president, according to a transcript released by the White House, mentioned Crowdstrike during a phone call with the new Ukranian president over the summer. Now, the California-based company is facing renewed scrutiny both about the handling of the DNC email hack and the firm’s political affiliations. Last month, in response to questions about the firm’s clear connections to Democrats, Crowdstrike rejected accusations of bias in an FAQ posted on its website:

Crowdstrike is not affiliated with any political party. We are a public cybersecurity company, and are non-partisan. We have done cybersecurity work for, and currently protect, both Republican and Democratic political organizations at the state, local, and federal level.”

That may be true in the most technical sense, but there are plenty of reasons to suspect that Crowdstrike is far from a disinterested player in the impeachment drama engulfing official Washington and gaslighting the American public. And since Crowdstrike produced the single piece of evidence used in the endless feedback loop to convince Americans that the Russians breached the DNC’s email system—the party refused to surrender its email devices to the FBI—reassessing the firm’s credibility in light of new information is warranted; in fact, it’s vital.

Henry, the president of Crowdstrike’s Washington operation, is a regular contributor to both MSNBC and NBC News programs. (His affiliation with Crowdstrike, however, is never mentioned.) Although he hasn’t worked for the FBI since 2012, Henry often weighs in as an FBI “expert,” opining on a variety of political issues from government shutdowns to the Kavanaugh debacle. Curiously, his views always come down on the side opposite of Donald Trump and the Republican Party.

In March 2017, Henry—who worked for Robert Mueller’s FBI during Barack Obama’s first term—participated in a post-inauguration forum to discuss the implications of Russia’s “hacking” the 2016 presidential election. The panel also featured former Hillary Clinton campaign manager John Podesta and Marc Elias, the general partner at Perkins Coie, a politically-influential law firm based in D.C..

It was a symbolic trio. Perkins Coie hired Crowdstrike in the spring of 2016 on behalf of the DNC. Instead of going directly to the FBI or other law enforcement agency about the breach, Democratic party leaders, working through Perkins Coie, retained Crowdstrike to find the culprits. Very cozy.

But that wasn’t Perkins Coie’s only involvement in the Russia-hacked-the-election plotline. The law firm also hired Fusion GPS—who in turn hired British political operative Christopher Steele to author his infamous dossier—on behalf of the Clinton campaign and the DNC around the same time Perkins retained Crowdstrike. According to disclosure reports, the DNC paid Perkins Coie $7.2 million during the 2016 election cycle: The PAC also paid Crowdstrike more than $400,000 during the same time period. (The DNC has paid Crowdstrike nearly $80,000 so far this year.)

And while Crowdstrike was working for the DNC in 2016, the firm also collaborated with key officials in the Obama Justice Department as it was ramping up its investigation into Trump’s presidential campaign. During a technology conference in March 2016, Crowdstrike hosted a cyber “war game” with Obama administration officials: “Four teams of ten people met for two hours to play the game,” according to an October 2016 profile in Esquire. “[National Security Division chief] John Carlin; Chris Painter…at the State Department; and Chris Inglis, the former deputy director of the NSA, were all part of the government team. A former member of GCHQ, the British intelligence organization, was on the international team. Ash Carter, the defense secretary, arrived halfway through and asked to play, but the game was already under way.”

Before Obama’s intelligence officials released a statement on October 7 that blamed the Russians for the DNC email breach, according to the Esquire article, Dmitri Alperovitch, Crowdstrike’s co-founder, was given a heads-up. “Alperovitch got a phone call from a senior government official alerting him that a statement identifying Russia as the sponsor of the DNC attack would soon be released. Once again, Alperovitch was thanked for pushing the government along.” The statement, issued by Obama’s Department of Homeland Security and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper one month before Election Day, lifted some of the wording from Crowdstrike’s report on the DNC breach. (Again, it’s important to note that no federal agency was allowed access to the DNC email servers; all evidence of Russian hacking came directly from Crowdstrike.)

Further, according to reporting by Michael Tracey, Crowdstrike had a contract with the FBI for $150,000 between July 2015 and July 2016 for unknown services.

So, to summarize, at the same time Perkins Coie hired Fusion GPS to dig up Russia-related dirt on Donald Trump, it hired Crowdstrike to investigate the hack of the DNC email systems. Crowdstrike, also at the same time, was working with the Obama Justice Department as the agency began investigating Trump campaign aides for suspected “collusion” with the Kremlin.

. . . Trump foes dismiss any scrutiny of Crowdstrike as part of a “conspiracy theory.” But the tangled web between Crowdstrike, Democratic operatives, the Trump-hating media and the Obama Justice Department isn’t a theory, it is fact. And since the firm played a critical early role in planting the Russia collusion hoax, Trump and his allies are right to raise more questions.

      Swirling down the Ukraine
Could Crowdstrike be tha actual target?
      By Anna L. Stark

Where there are corruption and massive amounts of cash, the Clintons are never far behind. In a Wall Street Journal article, “Hillary Clinton and Ukraine” (paywall), published barely two weeks ago, President Trump isn’t the only one asking for a full accounting of malfeasance in Ukraine. As far back as 2017, Iowa senator Chuck Grassley submitted a letter to the U.S. attorney general’s office that “highlighted brazen efforts by the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton campaign to use the government of Ukraine for the express purpose of finding negative information on then candidate Trump in order to undermine his campaign.” It should come as no surprise the Clinton campaign and the DNC shared highly paid informants in the U.S. and Ukraine: veteran Democrat operative Alexandra Chapula, a former Clinton White House staffer and daughter of Ukrainian immigrants being one of those people, whose salary between 2004 and 2016 rivals that of Hunter Biden. Chapula also had another extremely well paying gig: consulting for the DNC. This is the same DNC that refused to allow the FBI access to its compromised computer server, instead turning over the server for forensic analysis to a cyber-technology firm known as Crowdstrike.

It’s no coincidence the DNC sought the services of Crowdstrike instead of the FBI. It’s also no coincidence that Nancy Pelosi announced an impeachment inquiry within days of the whistleblower’s complaint being made public. During his conversation with the Ukrainian president, Trump asked for information about Crowdstrike‘s role in investigating the DNC computer server breach in 2016. The word “Crowdstrike” undoubtedly sent shockwaves through the D.C. swamp; the Clintons and the DNC are clearly worried. In plain speak: Trump is hovering over a target, and one that makes certain Democrats jittery at the mere mention. They’re so jittery, in fact, that apparently, impeaching President Trump is paramount, and ending the presidential campaign of the Democrat frontrunner is the unintended consequence.

    5. Common Funding Themes Link ‘Whistleblower’ Complaint and CrowdStrike Firm Certifying DNC Russia ‘Hack’

There are common threads that run through an organization repeatedly relied upon in the so-called whistleblower’s complaint about President Donald Trump and CrowdStrike, the outside firm utilized to conclude that Russia hacked the Democratic National Committee’s servers since the DNC would not allow the U.S. government to inspect the servers.
One of several themes is financing tied to Google, whose Google Capital led a $100 million funding drive that financed Crowdstrike. Google Capital, which now goes by the name of CapitalG, is an arm of Alphabet Inc., Google’s parent company. Eric Schmidt, the chairman of Alphabet, has been a staunch and active supporter of Hillary Clinton and is a longtime donor to the Democratic Party.

CrowdStrike was mentioned by Trump in his call with Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Perkins Coie, the law firm that represented the DNC and Hillary Clinton’s campaign, reportedly helped draft CrowdStrike to aid with the DNC’s allegedly hacked server.

On behalf of the DNC and Clinton’s campaign, Perkins Coie also paid the controversial Fusion GPS firm to produce the infamous, largely-discredited anti-Trump dossier compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele.

CrowdStrike is a California-based cybersecurity technology company co-founded by Dmitri Alperovitch.

Alperovitch is a nonresident senior fellow of the Cyber Statecraft Initiative at the Atlantic Council, which takes a hawkish approach toward Russia. The Council in turn is financed by Google Inc.

. . . CrowdStrike, meanwhile, was brought up by Trump in his phone call with Zelensky.

According to the transcript, Trump told Zelensky, “I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say CrowdStrike … I guess you have one of your wealthy people…The server, they say Ukraine has it.”

In his extensive report, Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller notes that his investigative team did not “obtain or examine” the servers of the DNC in determining whether those servers were hacked by Russia.

The DNC famously refused to allow the FBI to access its servers to verify the allegation that Russia carried out a hack during the 2016 presidential campaign. Instead, the DNC reached an arrangement with the FBI in which CrowdStrike conducted forensics on the server and shared details with the FBI.

In testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee in January 2017, then-FBI Director James Comey confirmed that the FBI registered “multiple requests at different levels,” to review the DNC’s hacked servers. Ultimately, the DNC and FBI came to an agreement in which a “highly respected private company”—a reference to CrowdStrike—would carry out forensics on the servers and share any information that it discovered with the FBI, Comey testified.

A senior law enforcement official stressed the importance of the FBI gaining direct access to the servers, a request that was denied by the DNC.

“The FBI repeatedly stressed to DNC officials the necessity of obtaining direct access to servers and data, only to be rebuffed until well after the initial compromise had been mitigated,” the official was quoted by the news media as saying.

“This left the FBI no choice but to rely upon a third party for information. These actions caused significant delays and inhibited the FBI from addressing the intrusion earlier,” the official continued.

    6. What Is CrowdStrike And How Are They Connected To Ukraine?
      by Jeff Dunetz | Oct 1, 2019 | Crime/Corruption, Politics

On his call with the Ukraine president, President Trump was trying to get Zelensky’s help investigating the tech company, Crowdstrike.

I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike … I guess you have one of your wealthy people… The server, they say Ukraine has it it they say a lot of it started with Ukraine. Whatever you can do, it’s very important that you do it if that’s possible.

Many people don’t realize that the Democrats refused to let the FBI look at their servers as part of their Russian hacking investigation; instead, the FBI relied on a report, paid for by the DNC and prepared by a company that in a different case was caught lying about Russian despot Vladimir Putin.

In 2016 the FBI based its decision that it was the Russians that hacked into the DNC computers on a report commissioned by the DNC and generated by Crowdstrike. Neither the FBI nor any other federal agency examined the party’s servers. The DNC wouldn’t allow the FBI to look at their servers for the hacking investigation; instead, they forced them to use the Crowdstrike report paid for by the Party.

At the time a senior FBI law enforcement official told Wired :

The FBI repeatedly stressed to DNC officials the necessity of obtaining direct access to servers and data, only to be rebuffed until well after the initial compromise had been mitigated. This left the FBI no choice but to rely upon a third-party for information. These actions caused significant delays and inhibited the FBI from addressing the intrusion earlier,”

The Crowdstrike report implicated Russia for the DNC hack, leading to the two-plus years of Russiagate–but there’s more. To this day neither the DOJ nor the FBI has a complete copy of the Crowdstrike report According to the Department of Justice, in its response to the Roger Stone defense asking for a copy of the Crowdstrike report, lawyers for the DNC and DCCC provided redacted draft copies of the Crowdstrike report “to the government.” They never saw the full report.

Perhaps the FBI trusted Crowdstrike’s report because the company’s executive Shawn Henry, who led the forensics team that ultimately blamed Russia for the DNC hack served as assistant director at the FBI under Mueller.

Crowdstrike has ties to the Obama team, is friends with Hillary Clinton, former Ukraine president Petro Poroshenko, and connected to Ukrainian oligarch Victor Pinchuk, another friend of the DNC and someone who donated $10 million to the Clinton Foundation.

Tying it all together, the Crowdstrike document (if the full report ever existed) may have been one more element of the DNC/Deep State effort to end the Trump Presidency before it started If everything was above board—why didn’t the FBI demand to examine the DNC server or the entire Crowdstrike report?

Crowdstrike has a history of lying about Russia. In March of 2017, the Voice of America VOA caught Crowdstrike creating a bogus and unrelated hacking charge against Russia, and making up the facts to prove its veracity. It seems that Crowdstrike is as politically motivated as everyone else in Washington, D.C. The VOA caught Crowdstrike lying about a claim of Russian hacking damaging Ukrainian technology. There was no hacking to blame on Russia or anyone else. The company that the DNC and FBI relied upon not only made up a crime that didn’t exist but they blamed it on Putin’s Russia. This mistake is especially relevant because Crowdstrike accused the Russians of using the same software to hack Ukraine as they supposedly used in hacking the DNC. Shouldn’t that call into question Crowdstrike ’s report? At the very least that should have motivated the FBI to get a copy of the entire report about the DNC and investigate whether it was accurate?

As reported on this site yesterday, The Crowdstrike ‘s CTO and co-founder, Dmitri Alperovitch, is a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, a think tank with openly anti-Russian sentiments that is funded by Ukrainian billionaire Victor Pinchuk. And In 2013, the Atlantic Council awarded Hillary Clinton it’s Distinguished International Leadership Award. Some people believe that Pinchuk has the server, but that is not a proven fact.

The president’s question about Crowdstrike is justified. What isn’t justified is the fact the Senate Judiciary Committee led by Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) hasn’t launched an investigation of the company.

    7. WHAT DEMOCRATS DON’T WANT YOU TO SEE: Overview of Crowdstrike – Firm that Claimed ‘Russia Hacked’ the US and the Ukraine – Is Now Under President Trump’s Radar
by Joe Hoft September 27, 2019

The most shocking piece in the transcript of the phone call between President Trump and the new President of Ukraine Zelensky is related to a company by the name of Crowdstrike. Below is a summary of our reporting related to this company that is behind the false claims of Russia hacking in both the US and the Ukraine.

On Wednesday the Trump Administration released the White House transcript of President Trump’s call with President Zelensky of Ukraine. In the transcript President Zelensky brought up Rudy Giuliani and his investigations with President Trump.

President Trump asked Zelensky to look into the 2016 election including information on Crowdstrike.

The President did not ask President Zelensky to investigate Joe Biden as was widely reported by the lying mainstream media. But President Trump did drop the name of the company behind Russian hacking in the US and the Ukraine, Crowdstrike.

The transcript revealed President Trump is going after the origins of the Trump-Russia witch hunt. Foreign Policy expert Tony Shaffer says this is what the left is most worried about.

Rush Limbaugh focused on this bombshell from the transcript on his Wednesday show.

Now, just a little bit more about Crowdstrike ’cause I have paid attention, there’s not a single — I haven’t seen a single report focus on Crowdstrike in this transcript. Now, I know why the Democrats are ignoring it. The Democrats are bent out of shape that Trump even knows about Crowdstrike. They think Trump’s an idiot. With Trump specifically zeroing in on Crowdstrike the Democrats have learned today, after reading that transcript, what Trump is really doing here.

Trump is soliciting assistance from allies all over the world to help Barr prove the scam run against him. That’s what’s going on. That’s what the Democrats have learned today with that word “Crowdstrike” being in the transcript. Crowdstrike, the founder of Crowdstrike is a Russian emigre who hates Putin with a purple passion. It seems to color Crowdstrike’s security work.

Prime example being when Crowdstrike claimed that the Russians had hacked the Ukraine artillery software during the time Russia was invading Ukraine. Crowdstrike claimed the Russian hack caused the Ukrainians to fire on their own troops, killing thousands of them. They were dead wrong about it! And that’s a massive thing to be wrong about. Because the only problem was Ukraine said there was no such hack and no such battle and there were no such casualties.

They said that Crowdstrike had made all of it up. And guess what? Crowdstrike withdrew its report and admitted that it was wrong. Now, this, whether it sounds like it or not, don’t doubt me, this is highly relevant to this entire Russian collusion story, which is why Trump was asking about it and why the Democrats don’t want the Ukrainians to reinvestigate it.

The reference to Crowdstrike, mark my words, is momentous in this transcript today. I know damn well the whistleblower didn’t tell the Democrats about that or they would have a different strategy laid out for this. Because another thing — don’t doubt me on this — what this really means, folks, is that Trump — he was asking for assistance on Biden, but it’s all related. What Trump actually was asking the president of Ukraine to do was to help the attorney general.

. . . And much more at the original post.

    9. No Wonder Google Execs Cried When Hillary Lost – They Funded Crowdstrike – The ‘Experts’ Behind the Russian Hackers Story
by Joe Hoft July 21, 2019

The day after the 2016 Presidential election the leadership team at Google was caught crying at a company-wide meeting with one exec saying “We lost.”
Now we know that they were behind the firm that claimed Russia hacked the DNC – Crowdstrike!
The Gateway Pundit previously reported after the 2016 election on Breitbart.com’s video showing Google execs crying like children after Hillary Clinton’s loss.

A video recorded by Google shortly after the 2016 presidential election reveals an atmosphere of panic and dismay amongst the tech giant’s leadership, coupled with a determination to thwart both the Trump agenda and the broader populist movement emerging around the globe.

We now know more about why these execs may have been crying after the election – Google is funded Crowdstrike!

In July 2015 Google invested $100 million into Crowdstrike

Google Capital, the two-year-old growth equity arm of search giant Google (GOOG), announced its first security investment on Monday morning.

The fund has pumped $100 million into cybersecurity firm Crowdstrike. It was joined by cloud computing company Rackspace (RAX), which is a customer, and the firm’s existing investors Accel and Warburg Pincus. The new infusion represents a Series C round for the Irvine, Calif.-based company, bringing its total funding raised to date to $156 million.

Crowdstrike admitted this on their website.

At about this same time, the media reported in February of 2015 (four months before Trump even announced running for POTUS) the Intel community was advising Congress and the White House on the issue and extent of Russian hacking and blaming Russian hacking (going as far back as 2012) on Ukraine aggression.

This information was no doubt based on claims made by Crowdstrike. A year later, the only firm that investigated the DNC emails that were released by WikiLeaks was Crowdstrike.

How was Crowdstrike able to determine that in 2015 the Russians hacked Congress because they were upset about Ukraine and then a year later claim Russians hacked the DNC because they didn’t like Hillary Clinton?
We reported on May 11, 2019, that Roger Stone and his legal team are requesting the report from Crowdstrike, the firm connected with the Deep State and tied to Google.

Their position is that if the Mueller team and the FBI did not inspect the DNC server, then how can they know that the server was hacked. This logical argument makes sense.

The Mueller team is fighting back against the Stone team and arguing that it is not necessary to see the documents that support that Russia hacked the DNC.

      This is preposterous!

. . . Now we know why Google executives were crying when Donald Trump won the Presidency.

They were tied to the purveyors of Russian Collusion – Crowdstrike!

    10. MAJOR FIND: More Ammunition for Roger Stone: The Only Firm to Review DNC Server, Crowdstrike, is Connected to James Clapper, The Atlantic Council and More Shoddy IT Investigative Work
by Joe Hoft June 26, 2019

      So who exactly is DFRL?

Oh, yeah, the DFRL is the research lab at the Atlantic Council…these are the same people who investigated the DNC servers and determined they were hacked which the FBI and the Mueller team relied on throughout the entire Mueller sham investigation.

Yes, of course DFRL is connected to Crowdstrike, the guys who found the “evidence” of Russians hacking the DNC and the DCCC!

Ukrainian billionaire and longtime contributor to the Clinton Foundation Victor Pinchuk, was doing his best to promote a Clinton victory. Pinchuk serves on the International Advisory Board of a Washington-based think tank called the Atlantic Council. This group is “connected to Ukrainian interests through its “Ukraine in Europe Initiative,” which is designed to galvanize international support for an independent Ukraine within secure borders whose people will determine their own future.” Also serving on the International Advisory Board of the Atlantic Council is James Clapper, who served as Obama’s Director of National Intelligence. Funnily enough, Bongino discovered that the Chief Technology Officer of “the only company that investigated the hacking of the DNC’s servers and quickly determined it was the Russians, is a nonresident senior fellow in cybersecurity” at the Atlantic Council. His name is Dmitri Alperovitch (owner of Crowdstrike).”

So DFRL is connected to Crowdstrike which is connected to former Obama Director of National Intelligence, the corrupt and slanderous James Clapper, and they are all connected to the Atlantic Council. And, they are involved is shoddy, if not worthless investigations into data leaks and hackers.

    11. Russian Hack or CrowdStrike Ruse?
      Michael Thau – June 19th, 2019

. . . The search warrants issued in Stone’s and other related cases were predicated on Mueller having evidence that the Russians hacked the DNC servers and then gave the spoils to WikiLeaks. So, last month, Stone’s lawyers filed a motion challenging that premise and requesting to see the only direct evidence that exists: the report CrowdStrike wrote after examining the DNC server.

If you don’t know what CrowdStrike is, you’re unaware perhaps of the most important player in the Russian-Wikileaks espionage narrative. CrowdStrike is the tech firm the Democratic National Committee hired, allegedly upon learning their servers had been breached. We’re supposed to believe CrowdStrike’s job was to deal with the breach. But the company’s account of the actions it took makes so little sense that company officials either have to be lying or they are too incompetent to be trusted.

According to a puff-piece profile of founder and chief technology officer Dmitri Alperovitch in Vanity Fair, the firm was contacted about a possible breach of the DNC servers on May 4, 2016, and, the very next day, installed software CrowdStrike had developed called Falcon that’s designed to detect intruders. Upon which:

[I]n the early mornings of May 6, Alperovitch got a call indicating that “Falcon ‘it up,’ the email said, within ten seconds of being installed at the DNC: Russia was in the network.”

Yet according to the Vanity Fair story, Alperovitch and CrowdStrike President Shawn Henry spent six weeks monitoring the hostile actors they claim to have found roaming freely in the DNC servers before expelling them on June 10-12.

This is the same story Alperovitch and Henry told on June 14, 2016, when they first released details of the alleged Russian hack of the DNC in the Washington Post. Funnily enough, their story about Russian hacking, which wound up being the basis for discrediting the voluminous amount of negative information about Hillary Clinton’s character and competence later published by WikiLeaks, emerged exactly two days after Julian Assange announced that WikiLeaks would soon be publishing Clinton campaign emails.

And, as researcher Stephen McIntyre has noted, now that they have been published, we know something about the DNC emails WikiLeaks subsequently released that we didn’t know when CrowdStrike officials first told their story:

There were no fewer than 14,409 emails in the Wikileaks archive dating after Crowdstrike’s installation of its security software. In fact, more emails were hacked after Crowdstrike’s discovery on May 6 than before. Whatever actions were taken by Crowdstrike on May 6, they did nothing to stem the exfiltration of emails from the DNC.

It turns out we’re supposed to believe that CrowdStrike sat around and did nothing as they watched the Russians steal the majority of the emails they allegedly passed to WikiLeaks.

As McIntyre goes on to observe, this makes the firm look a lot like the guy dressed like a security guard from the old commercial who, when the bank is robbed, informs the frightened employees, “I’m not a security guard, I’m a security monitor. I only notify people if there’s a robbery . . . There’s a robbery.”

Moreover, CrowdStrike’s reasons for pinning the alleged DNC hack on the Russians undermines their credibility even further. As Scott Ritter has pointed out in an exhaustive exposé on CrowdStrike founder Dmitri Alperovitch’s “shady” rise to fame, fortune, and power in the world of cyber-intelligence, CrowdStrike blames the alleged DNC hack on the Russians because the Russians have used the same malware they claim to have found on the DNC servers. But this malware is also known to have been used by actors unaffiliated with Russian intelligence. So, even without seeing CrowdStrike’s report, the logic behind the claim that the Russians were behind the alleged theft of DNC files (as they watched and did nothing) is worthless.

We’ve known for a long time that the FBI never examined the DNC servers themselves but, instead, just accepted CrowdStrike’s conclusions. This would be bad enough even if the firm’s story actually made sense and their method of attribution weren’t completely spurious. But, thanks to Roger Stone’s motion to actually see CrowdStrike’s report, we now know that it’s much worse than we could have imagined.

In response, the government has admitted not only did it fail to do an independent examination on the DNC servers, officials also didn’t obtain a complete copy of CrowdStrike’s final report. CrowdStrike and the DNC only permitted the Department of Justice and FBI to see a redacted draft copy.

. . . But the government’s uncritical parroting of CrowdStrike’s conclusions is even worse. Alperovitch, though Russian by birth, is a member of the virulently anti-Russian Atlantic Council. So, anyone accepting his word that Russia is guilty of what’s repeatedly been referred to as an act of war without any independent examination of his evidence or even a look at his final unredacted conclusions is either a knave or a fool.

And the other CrowdStrike executive heavily involved in investigating the alleged DNC hack, president and CSO Shawn Henry, was the FBI’s head of cybersecurity before cashing in and joining the firm. And after everything we’ve seen in the past three years, perhaps you won’t be surprised to find out that he was promoted by none other than Robert Mueller.

Yet, somehow, Republicans in Congress have shown almost no skepticism about the alleged Russian hacking of the DNC. Perhaps this latest revelation that CrowdStrike didn’t even turn over a complete and final draft of their report will finally cause the GOP establishment in Washington to ask questions they should have been asking all along.

But perhaps not. Just before Trump’s inauguration, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) warned that challenging the intelligence community’s unsubstantiated claims about Russian election interference was “really dumb,” because:

Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community—they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.

    12. US Govt’s Entire Russia-DNC Hacking Narrative Based On Redacted Draft Of Crowdstrike Report
      by Tyler Durden
      Mon, 06/17/2019 – 02:55

It’s been known for some time that the US Government based its conclusion that Russia hacked the Democratic National Committee (DNC) on a report by cybersecurity firm Crowdstrike, which the DNC paid over a million dollars to conduct forensic analysis and other work on servers they refused to hand over to the FBI.

Crowdstrike‘s report made its way into a joint FBI/DHS report on an Russia’s “Grizzly Steppe”, which concluded Russia hacked the DNC’s servers. At the time, Crowdstrike‘s claim drew much scrutiny from cybersecurity experts according to former Breitbart reporter Lee Stranahan.

Now, thanks to a new court filing by longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone requesting the full Crowdstrike analysis, we find out that the US government was given a redacted version of the report marked “Draft,” as reported by the Conservative Treehouse.

What makes the whole thing even more hokey is a footnote admitting that “counsel for the DNC and DCCC informed the government that they are the last version of the report produced.”

So to be clear – the entire narrative that Russia hacked the DNC is based on a redacted draft of a report which Crowdstrike appears not to have even finalized.

. . . Meanwhile, the Crowdstrike analyst who led forensics on the DNC servers is a former FBI employee who Robert Mueller promoted while head of the agency. It should also be noted that the government of Ukraine admonished Crowdstrike for a report they later retracted and amended, claiming that Russia hacked Ukrainian military.

In connection with the emergence in some media reports which stated that the alleged “80% howitzer D-30 Armed Forces of Ukraine removed through scrapping Russian Ukrainian hackers software gunners,” Land Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informs that the said information is incorrect.

Ministry of Defence of Ukraine asks journalists to publish only verified information received from the competent official sources. Spreading false information leads to increased social tension in society and undermines public confidence in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. –mil.gov.ua (translated) (1.6.2017)

    13. FBI Never Saw CrowdStrike’s Entire Hacking of DNC Report: But Used It As Primary Source Anyway
by J.E. Dyer and Jeff Dunetz | Jun 16, 2019

American Thinker’s Thomas Lifson highlights a significant find by Conservative Treehouse in the discovery information from the Roger Stone trial: the FBI never had a complete copy of the Crowdstrike report on the hacking of DNC server. But if they never had the full report, why did they use it as a primary piece of evidence to blame Russia for the hacking?

. . . Both the FBI and the Democratic Party admitted that the crime-fighting agency based its decision to blame Russians for hacking into the DNC computers on a report commissioned by the DNC and generated by Crowdstrike. Yes, our intelligence agencies agree it was all the Russians fault. But can one trust the veracity of that determination when the FBI relied exclusively on information from a report by Crowdstrike who were being paid by the Democratic Party? Especially if they’ve never seen the entire report?

Crowdstrike may have a prejudice against Russia. The company who the DNC and FBI relied upon not only made up a crime that didn’t exist, but they blamed it on Putin’s Russia. Shouldn’t that call into question Crowdstrike’s report? At the very least that should have motivated the FBI to get a copy of the entire report about the DNC and investigate whether it was accurate?

This also raised the question as to whether the report commissioned purely for campaign purposes? Based on the fact that the company has close ties to the Obama team, is friends with Hillary Clinton, and connected to Ukrainian oligarch Victor Pinchuk (another friend of the DNC), can we really believe the report was done without DNC input? Did an entire report ever really exist. The Crowdstrike document may have been one more element of the DNC/Deep State effort to end the Trump Presidency before it started? If everything was above board—why didn’t the FBI demand to examine the DNC server or the entire Crowdstrike report?

A response from the prosecution in the Roger Stone trial confirmed that neither the DOJ nor the FBI, to this day, has a complete copy of the Crowdstrike report

With a critical omission, the response also raises the question of whether the FBI received any copy of the report before the ICA was published to the world in January 2017. According to the Department of Justice, in its response to the Stone defense asking for a copy of the Crowdstrike report, lawyers for the DNC and DCCC voluntarily, at an unspecified later time, provided redacted draft copies of the Crowdstrike report “to the government.”These questions above need to be answered, and until they are much of America will have the same suspicion Marcellus had in the first act of Hamlet when he told Horatio “Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.”

Parts of this post was first seen at Liberty Unyielding: https://libertyunyielding.com/2019/06/15/good-grief-fbi-never-saw-full-crowdstrike-report-on-the-dnc-server/

    14. FIGURES. FBI/DOJ Never Obtained the Unredacted CrowdStrike Reports on ‘Russian Hack’ of DNC Servers
by Cristina Laila June 14, 2019

Imagine our shock. . . [S]urprise, surprise — the FBI never looked into it.

“By May 2016, the DNC and the DCCC became aware that their computer systems had been compromised by intrusions, and they hired the cybersecurity company Crowdstrike to identify the extent of the intrusions and mitigate the threat,” the filing stated.

Right, because going to the FBI wasn’t an option for Hillary and her camp — they hired a Deep State friendly cybersecurity firm to crank out reports for them and magically it was ‘confirmed’ that the Russians hacked the servers and were given code names “Cozy Bear” and “Fancy Bear.”

Former FBI Director James Comey testified that the FBI asked the DNC for the compromised servers several times and they refused to hand them over to the bureau.

Instead of taking the servers, Comey and the DNC agreed that Crowdstrike would investigate the so-called ‘hack’ and they ultimately churned out three “draft reports.”

According to the court filing, “Copies of these reports were subsequently produced voluntarily to the government by counsel for the DNC and DCCC. At the time of the voluntary production, counsel for the DNC told the government that the redacted material concerned steps taken to remediate the attack and to harden the DNC and DCCC systems against future attack.”

And did the FBI further look into the redactions? NOPE! The FBI just trusted the DNC’s lawyer that there was nothing relevant behind the redactions.

“According to counsel, no redacted information concerned the attribution of the attack to Russian actors,” the filing stated.

So there you have it. Crowdstrike gave the US government three “draft reports” on the so-called hack which was full of redactions and the FBI just took their word for it that the Russians hacked the DNC servers.

STILL No Proof of Russian Hacking of DNC or Podesta

Three years of endless media coverage, an extensive investigation by Mueller’s team, people went to jail…….. and still, no proof.
I understand I am a mere citizen, in a red state, doomed to be ignored and insulted by those who feign indignation ANYONE would question their assumptions. Yet, here I am. Where’s the proof? I want to know and ALL Americans deserve to know.
Are we “racist” because we question the obvious?
Within our small group, we have searched for proof of Russians hacking the DNC or Podesta. We have tracked the claims made by CrowdStrike, the only ones allowed to review the DNC servers…. only to have their wild claims, debunked.
CrowdStrike based their conclusions on three fundamental elements:
      1. We closely followed the CrowdStrike claim of D-30 Howitzer tracking software was hacked in a similar fashion by Cozy Bear and Fuzzy Bear……. it fell apart.
      2. We followed the CrowdStrike Claim of a London Think Tank, IISS, which counts armaments/size of standing armies of all countries…. only to have IISS debunk CrowdStrike. (International Institute for Strategic Studies)
      3. Russian language strings in the code…… debunked when we learned we could purchase a similar keyboard in Brooklyn for about $14.
In May of 2017, Crowdstrike backed off the basis for their findings…….. but their spox said it did not matter, because the “17 intel agencies” came to the same conclusion…….
…….. but the 17 intel agencies were relying on CrowdStrike for analysis. See what they did there?
BUT …. what if you learned there were no 17 intel agencies who reviewed the material and made an assessment? What if there were were only a few dozen hand-picked people from CIA/FBI and a few people from Clapper’s staff……. because that’s what happened.
We’re supposed to trust our intel community, right? Yet, given what has been revealed in the last 3yrs about political appointees from the Obama Admin and various partisan members of agencies, are we “racist” because we doubt Brennan, Clapper, and Comey?
What if you learned Peter Strzok was one of the hand-picked members of the team who WROTE the ICA………. Did you that little tidbit? . . .

. . .Bottom line: Russian may have hacked the DNC and successfully phished Podesta. The claim may or may not be true. As an American, I STILL don’t know. Do you?
If Durham’s investigation destroys the premise for the JAR and the ICA, and exposes the JAR and ICA as loose intel, twisted for a political goal, then the entire “Russian Hacking” story falls apart.
The MSM, DNC, Bad actors, know that few people will take the time to read the JAR and ICA.
      We did.
      Here are the links, again.
As civilians, I invite you to reread these reports and see for yourself. The information contained herein looks loose, suspicious, unclear.
See what you think, devoid of pundits opinions.
      Judge for yourself.

” Except that the ICA did not reflect the consensus of the intelligence community. Clapper broke with tradition and decided not to put the assessment out to all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies for review. Instead, he limited input to a couple dozen chosen analysts from just three agencies — the CIA, NSA and FBI.
Agencies with relevant expertise on Russia, such as the Department of Homeland Security, Defense Intelligence Agency and the State Department’s intelligence bureau, were excluded from the process.

      1. Gail Combs is the news now!

        CHECK IT OUT –>

        FROM MY NOTES…

A top NSA whistleblower has revealed that the DNC emails were leaked internally by somebody working for the Democratic party, and not by hackers.

According to NSA agent Bill Binney, the DNC emails were transferred far too quickly for it to be the work of hackers.

CrowdStrike all by it’s self STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN!!!

What Is CrowdStrike? Firm Hired By DNC Has Ties To Hillary Clinton, A Ukrainian Billionaire, And Google

We already know of Alperovitch’s work with The Atlantic Council, who would love a USA war with Russia, but did you know:

Dmitri Alperovitch worked for Ukrainian intelligence?

Look at “.. Alperovitch’s relationships with the Chalupas, radical groups, think tanks, Ukrainian propagandists, and Ukrainian state supported hackers….”

▪️ The Chalupas are not Democrat or Republican. They are OUNb. The OUNb worked hard to start a war between the USA and Russia for the last 50 years. According to the Ukrainian Weekly in a rare open statement of their existence in 2011, “Other statements were issued in the Ukrainian language by the leadership of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (B) and the International Conference in Support of Ukraine. The OUN (Bandera wing) called for”… What is OUNb Bandera? They follow the same political policy and platform that was developed in the 1930’s by Stepan Bandera. When these people go to a Holocaust memorial they are celebrating both the dead and the OUNb SS that killed. There is no getting around this fact. The OUNb have no concept of democratic values and want an authoritarian fascism.

▪️ Alexandra Chalupa- According to the Ukrainian Weekly,… “The effort, known as Digital Miadan, gained momentum following the initial Twitter storms. Leading the effort were: Lara Chelak, Andrea Chalupa, Alexandra Chalupa, Constatin Kostenko and others.” The Digital Maidan was also how they raised money for the coup. This was how the Ukrainian emigres bought the bullets that were used on Euromaidan. Ukraine’s chubby nazi, Dima Yarosh stated openly he was taking money from the Ukrainian emigres during Euromaidan and Pravy Sektor still fundraises openly in North America. The “Sniper Massacre” on the Maidan in Ukraine by Dr. Ivan Katchanovski, University of Ottowa shows clearly detailed evidence how the massacre happened. It has Pravy Sektor confessions that show who created the “heavenly hundred. Their admitted involvement as leaders of Digital Maidan by both Chalupas is a clear violation of the Neutrality Act and has up to a 25 year prison sentence attached to it because it ended in a coup.

▪️ Andrea Chalupa-2014, in a Huff Post article Sept. 1 2016, Andrea Chalupa described Sviatoslav Yurash as one of Ukraine’s important “dreamers.” He is a young activist that founded Euromaidan Press. Beyond the gushing glow what she doesn’t say is who he actually is. Sviatoslav Yurash was Dmitri Yarosh’s spokesman just after Maidan. He is a hardcore Ukrainian nationalist and was rewarded with the Deputy Director position for the UWC (Ukrainian World Congress) in Kiev….

        MOAR on Crowdstrike:

article mentioned by VOA but not linked: http://thesaker.is/ukrainian-army-losses-in-ato-anti-terrorist-operation-according-to-the-iisss-military-balance/

Crowdstrike admits that they spent 36 days just “monitoring” the ALLEGED “Russian Hackers” while the “hackers” were permitted to steal all the DNC emails? What kind of INCIDENT RESPONSE is this? Why hasn’t anyone asked these clowns this question, since the majority of the damaging emails were not even created until after Crowdstrike became PART OF THE DNC NETWORK behind the firewall on May 5, 2016, with complete surveillance capability and near unlimited access to everything:

“Did Crowdstrike just do nothing for 36 days so that the damaging emails could be created so that they could be stolen and given to Wikileaks?”

This is a more than reasonable question since Crowdstrike admits to doing just that.

Thanks for the info. I have wondered if Crowdstrike was one of the private contractors mentioned by the FISA court but my day job keeps me from doing as much work on all of these issues as I would like to do! I’m sure they are some part of the problem or the Comey FBI would not have allowed them to take the DNC server. How outrageous is that?!! Beyond belief.

Now I wonder if, as General Flynn’s Attorney, she will be able to do some digging on that point? 😉

      3. cthulhu was 100% dead on right. Yes I’m a cybersecurity professional, this is a correct assessment:

I had polymorphic malware that included a keylogger dropped on me in 2015. The first thing you do when you realize you’ve been compromised is freeze everything. Then you have a chain-of-evidence expert make one or more copies of everything. Then you open a “test copy” with a virtual machine — not a real one. This allows you to do a number of things — like relive 5/18/15 over-and-over-and-over again, while never being in 5/19/15, when you know things go haywire. You can simulate internet connections, so when the malware tries to “phone home”, you are privy to the conversation. You can observe the algorithm used for further exploitation, then go “back in time” to see how it can be thwarted. You can trace each process and see what initiates it and what it talks to.

What you NEVER do is sit around with your finger up your nose for 36 days to “monitor the problem”. If you do any reading at https://krebsonsecurity.com/ or https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/ (not to mention https://www.blackhat.com/us-19/ , https://defcon.org/ , and https://www.rsaconference.com/events/us19 ), you will note that original exploits provide fingerholds, and further augmentations to those original exploits (e.g. “privilege escalation”) is what gets things really rolling. Leaving an intruder on your system means that he may be able to alter system logs and further scramble your understanding of the intrusion. Intermediate work files can be lost. Further footholds can be implanted.

I’ve done corporate internal control audits that heavily involved IT (I’m a CPA). I’ve dealt with credentialed IT cybersecurity experts, and I’ve said, “sorry, I don’t deal with this every day…..can you explain that a bit more thoroughly?” and gotten replies that MAKE SENSE. IMHO, CrowdStrike is BS backed with BS. They’ve never made sense, and their further explications of stuff that doesn’t make sense makes LESS sense.

The only reason you might let an intruder prowl your network is when you were absolutely certain that everything corporate on your network conformed to corporate policies that were absolutely bulletproof. You might learn more when a non-corporate compromised node attempted to compromise another non-corporate node by observation.

Few people have the hubris to claim such perfection. Evidently, it’s CrowdStrike’s bread-and-butter.

        Gail Combs replies:

I am ‘Computer Challenged’ and CrowdStrike STILL SMELLS of BS to me.

        Let’s get real.
        1. DNC thinks they are hacked.
        2. They hire CrowdStrike.
        (That makes sense)

        3. CrowdStrike sits with their thumb up their… for 36 days
        (That DOES NOT makes sense)

        4. CrowdStrike thinks the hack is from RUSSIA BUT THE DNC DOES NOT CALL IN THE FEDS to investigate??? EVER???

That is just straight up Chicken feces! No one who can think straight should accept that. At the very least the system should have been preserved and MUELLER SHOULD HAVE DEMANDED VERIFICATION by a second IT team (FEDERAL) given that it is CRITICAL EVIDENCE of the accusiations made against THE PRESIDENT OF THE USA.

Where in HADES were the heads of President Trump’s defense team? Why didn’t they DEMAND VERIFICATION?? SHEESH…

I figure it is like allowing an intruder to wander through your house picking up the items he plans to steal.

CrowdStrike was a dark-op hacking operation masquerading as a ‘cyber security’ company.

Eric Schmidt created CrowdStrike and hired dark web hackers to work there. [standard practice in Cyber! -michaelh]
Schmidt poured hundreds of millions of dollars into his CrowdStrike operation…and the question is, Why?

Personally, I think that CrowdStrike is a part of the DNC/LeftistCabal Blackmail operation.
        Think about it.
It’s the only thing that makes sense.

[BINGO – We have a winner!]

Under the reign of Hussein…CrowdStrike was probably given access to NSA data, to mine for anything ‘useful’.

[“I know nothing!” Wasserman-Schultz -> Awan Bros -> DNC -> Crowdstrike (FBI Contractors) -> FBI -> NSA database ==> EXPOSES DEEP STATE SPYING AND MORE FISA ABUSE]

        Information is Power.
And corrupt powerful people are always seeking as much information as they can get…to use for their own purposes.

That Blackmail operation was/is likely not only used against opponents…but also against their own people, to keep them in line. [yes, quite a racket]

There was a little blurb last year…an announcement, that the NSA had ‘deleted their data base’ of all previous files.
        Remember that?
Some of us speculated that it was because of the corruption within the FiveEyes info-sharing group.

Was that done to ‘set a trap’ for the bad guys?
IIRC, that purge happened while Admiral Rogers was still the head of the NSA.

Anyway…fast forward to today…and this thing about CrowdStrike doing an IPO.
Seems to me like this is a way for Eric Schmidt and others who have been funding CS, to get back some of their money.
And also a way to whitewash the CrowdStrike operation as a ‘public company’.

How would we even know, if some of the CrowdStrike employees who ‘know too much’, were being suicided or having unfortunate accidents.
We don’t even know who they are.

Doing an IPO is also a good way to payoff ‘valuable’ employees with company stock, as they are let go.

It wouldn’t surprise me one bit, if there is already a New version of CrowdStrike in the works.
The ‘old’ CS has become way too visible and well known.

      Russian Hacking

Our little Q Tree has grown and the talents of various members continue to pleasantly surprise us all. Collecting and sharing info about the Mueller report, yesterday, as we have done so many times before, was a group effort. I’m asking for your help, again.

Within this thread, please DUMP everything you know about Crowdstrike, whether or not the Russians did hack the DNC/Podesta. The info I’ve added is long, technical, and includes many links. Take it in sections if needed, or disregard it altogether.

Since the release of the Mueller report, the DNC + MSM is attempting to establish a narrative. It goes something like this: Okay – So, Trump and his team did not specifically collude with Russia (or we don’t have a smoking gun that he did – but Adam Schiff has secret info), but Russia meddled in the election…. we (the legacy media) were right about it…. and so were our precious 17 intel agencies. If not for Russian meddling…. Hillary would have won. This “SPIN” will save the media’s credibility, DNC politicians, and the Deep State.

. . . We’re being asked to accept, verbatim, Crowdstrike findings and frankly, we’re not sure they are true……. and neither is Crowdstrike. Their findings never rise above the word “possibility” of the Russians being the hackers.

Let’s try to create a Timeline: I’ll start off and plug in more details as others contribute.

June 12th, 2016: Julian Assange announces he has Hillary emails.

June 14th, 2016: Crowdstrike announcement in WaPost about DNC hacks. (For those who pay WaPost for a subscription, in the search bar, please type in Washington Post, June 14 2016 Alperovitch, and the article will come up.) For those of us who do not pay for a WaPost subscription, synopsis found here: Link

“…..its forensic analysis of the DNC server had determined malware had been injected into the server — and it had been done by Russians. Not just any Russians, mind you, but agents of Vladimir Putin. Alperovitch and CrowdStrike’s Shawn Henry (a former FBI executive under Director Robert Mueller and President Obama) told the Post that their investigation revealed the DNC server had been hacked by the cyber-espionage groups known as “Fancy Bear,” allegedly associated with the Russian GRU (military intelligence) and “Cozy Bear,” allegedly associated with the FSB (the successor to the infamous Soviet KGB).”

June 15, 2016: Guccifer 2.0 published a single WordPress blog (Link here) reinforcing the “Russian hacking” narrative. Details of Guccifer 2.0 statement and details can be found at a Snopes on June 17, 2016. Link: Snopes Link HereSnopes Link Here Guccifer 2.0 ALSO published a smattering of DNC emails he claimed were obtained in the hack. The Snopes link is RICH with detailed references and other links – also noting Shaun King, from NY Daily News, who immediately became interested and followed the Seth Rich story.

June 21, 2016: By June 21, Guccifer 2.0 gave an interview with VOX, admitting he was Hungarian, not Russian, and released docs from Clinton Foundation on his WordPress Blog: Link Here

July 28, 2016: By now, the DNC convention is in full swing, and we’ve had over a month to investigate potential hacking. We get the following article from BBC: Link Here The BBC article is REVEALING because the “Doubts about Guccifer 2.0” section is almost identical to the report from 17 Intel Agencies we received in January of 2017, right before President Trump took office. Did Clapper and Brennan copy and paste?

Why are many sceptical about the identity of Guccifer 2.0?

        For three main reasons:

        • Detailed analysis of the attack on the DNC by US security firm CrowdStrike suggests the organisation was actually penetrated twice – both times by hacking groups, dubbed Cozy Bear and Fancy Bear, known to have links to the Russian state. These groups have successfully penetrated US federal organisations in other hack attacks. (We later learn the logic of Crowdstrike assessment falls apart on this primary point. See below for theory on targeting software for D-30 Howitzers)
        • Forensic examination of metadata in copies of documents distributed by Guccifer 2.0 suggest they were edited on a machine set up for a Russian language user. (We later learn the same hardware is available in Brooklyn for about $14 – it’s a Russian language keyboard)
        • Technical information including IP addresses extracted from messages sent by Guccifer 2.0 to journalists show a link to the Russian cyber-underground – even though many of the conversations were routed through a French VPN firm. In the past, some of the same infrastructure was used to send junk spam on behalf of Russian crime groups. (Should we be surprised Guccifer 2.0 communicates with underground Russian cyber groups? Or that Russian cyber crime groups sent out spam? How is this proof the GRU or FSB, specifically connected to Putin, hacked Hillary, Podesta, or the DNC?)

The BBC article (linked above) even concludes this is NOT proof of Russian hacking.

Does this prove that Russia is involved?

No. Attribution, the experts say, is always difficult. Translated, this means nobody knows who to blame. One of the first lessons that any competent hacker or hacktivist learns is how to cover their tracks and how to use proxies, encryption and other techniques to obscure who they are and from where they are operating.

January 3, 2017: Important article, examining issue from all aspects, from George Eliason, worth reading. Link here

How does Crowdstrike’s story part with reality? First is the admission that it is probably, maybe, could be Russia hacking the DNC. “Intelligence agencies do not have specific intelligence showing officials in the Kremlin ‘directing’ the identified individuals to pass the Democratic emails to Wiki Leaks.”

The Intel Community Report on Russian Hacking, the JA Report

January 6, 2017: Two weeks before the inauguration of President Trump and at the same time President Elect Trump was shown part of the Discredited Dossier, the Intel Community (Obama’s IC) comes out with a “definitive” report on who hacked the DNC. Please follow the NYTimes link for the full 25 page report, Link here Please read it. The IC Report on Russian hacking is 25 pages of boilerplate and obviously bad logic.

Pages 1-6 tell us why the Intel communities are spectacular and we should trust them. The IC will tell us what to think and their conclusions, but because of “sources and methods” cannot reveal any proof to the public. At the bottom of page 6, the report reveals they are relying on old methods, because we know how Kremlin works.

By Page 7, we get to the meat of the matter in “Key Judgements” = Undermine the public faith in the democratic process, hurt Hillary’s chances at election or her Presidency, because Russia concluded she was the likely winner. We are offered no proof of Russian preference for Hillary and at the bottom of page 7, we see the “Kremlin” targeted both campaigns with social media trolls. And here is the kicker, “High degree of confidence, the GRU used the persona of Guccifer 2.0 and DCLeaks to release US Victim data obtained in cyber operations publicly and in exclusives to media outlets and relayed material to Wikileaks.”

Page 8: details an old story about Russians looking at publicly available information on voters in state and local boards, as if it’s somehow secret or related.

Page 11: FBI and CIA think Putin and Russia want to discredit Hillary and help Trump. NSA has “moderate confidence. It’s the first time we see the NSA break from the others. Here, on page 11, we see the weakest possible explanation for Putin preference of Trump over Hillary. Page 11 is a must see. Because Putin “most likely” held a grudge against Hillary from 2011? Did a third grader write this report? We see words like “probably” and “most likely”, which is a persuasive argument, not fact-based. We also see an argument from IC that Trump/Russia could work together on ISIS and welcomed more friendly relations. No proof, just poorly written persuasion.

Page 12: Accusation Russian intel gained access to DNC in July, 2015, and maintained access until June of 2016. Hard and fast accusation. Proof? Further, GRU “probably” began targeting both sides in March, 2016……. no proof, just speculation. Bottom of page, important, the report claims Guccifer 2.0 and DC Leaks info, as attributed to Russia, was publicly available…., info gleaned from various journalists, info not received as a result of anything the intel community did. .. except for an accusation DCLeaks published emails stolen by GRU in March, 2016 (page 13).

Page 13: Accusation the GRU fed information to Wikileaks (high confidence) but reasoning is weak – because the head of RT visited Assange at Ecuadorian Embassy? Or because RT and Sputnik are pro-Russia? Or more friendly to Trump and cooperation between USA and Russia?

Page 14: Or better yet, because RT/Sputnik noticed American media was often unfair to Trump? (page 14) And cast Trump’s victory as a win against globalism, an outsider unfairly targeted by establishment media…. versus Hillary…. islamic extremist, poor health, and corrupt. And the important point: Russia as the likely financier of, The IRA, Internet Research Agency, St Petersburg, group of internet trolls. By the time we got to the Mueller Report, “likely” became assumed fact — AND Mueller indicted them.

Page 15: History of Cold War = Russia bad. The effort to interfere in 2016 = “boldest yet”.

Page 16-22: Dramatic focus on RT America TV, which was allowed in 2012 into the US, had two shows the IC claimed sowed discord. I believe Mueller’s Special Counsel charged RT with FARA violation. Another show, anti Occupy Wall Street, more accusation of RT America being pro-Russian and claims of Putin/Kremlin tight control over RT. More details on RT Arabia. No discussion of Washington Post printing propaganda directly from China.

In summary, the IC Report on Russian Hacking of DNC/Hillary?/Podesta is alarmingly weak. We have one claim of entry to DNC in July, 2015-June, 2016, with no proof or public explanation. Did the Intel community make the assessment or did it come from Crowdstrike? We have an accusation of GRU entry of DNC in March, 2016, again, no explanation. Was it the IC or Crowdstrike? We KNOW the FBI never looked at the DNC servers. Finally, we see the IC relying on public reporting for an accusation against Guccifer 2.0 and DCLeaks. Pages 1-6 were boilerplate, pages 7-15 were, at most, 6th grade persuasive writing, and pages 16-22 were a copy and paste of someone’s report on RT TV in America.

The Intel Community Report does not leave the reader with a “high degree of confidence”, especially when we consider the TIMING of it’s release, 2 weeks before the inauguration of President Trump.

Crowdstrike + Cozy Bear and Fancy Bear + IISS

Among the many authoritative refutations of CrowdStrike claims are an early analysis by former top IBM executive Skip Folden, entitled “Non-Existent Foundation for Russian Hacking Charge” — which has since been deleted from WordPress. In fact, one by one, MANY tech experts offering detailed analysis have had their articles removed or taken down. Odd, eh? Binney and other veterans also attacked the findings but have been ignored by both, Haspel and Pompeo at CIA. Binney’s “Memorandum for the President” can still be found here: Link to Binney Memorandum

In other groups, we closely followed the CrowdStrike story from the interview of Dmitri Alperovitch on PBS, December 22, 2016. Senators and Congressmen confirmed CrowdStrike as the originator of the Russian Hacking story. Let’s not forget, the DNC and Hillary were the ones who hired CrowdStrike, just as they hired Fusion GPS.

CrowdStrike based their theory of Russian hacking on, 1. the Russian keyboard, 2. the targeting software for Ukrainian D-30 Howitzers, and 3. Historical behavior of Russia.

The following is a personal post I made on March 23, 2017, and thus, PURE opinion. Several of the links included are no longer active, yet, I described the material within the links. It may help give us all a closer look at CrowdStrike.

March 23, 2017: Daughn’s personal opinion post – NOT legacy media.

On March 22, I found an article from VOA and others and summed up the article in a post as follows:
In a nutshell, Crowdstrike asserts that Ukrainian D-30 howitzers had an “app” that was hacked by the Russians during the Crimea incursion. Crowdstrike points to a report by IISS (English think tank which counts the sizes of armies and armaments available to various countries around the world) which claims significant loss of D-30 howitzers as evidence the Russians were successful in targeting this artillery.
But CrowdStrike’s argument falls apart, here:
        1. IISS was never contacted about it’s report or conclusions and the creator of the “app” was never contacted by Crowdstrike. IISS claims they were reordering the estimates of global arms forces and were, in fact, making a correction for howitzer counts two years prior to the Crimea incursion.
        2. Sherstyuk, maker of the Ukrainian military app in question, called the company’s report “delusional” in a Facebook post. CrowdStrike never contacted him before or after its report was published, he told VOA.
        3. Jeffrey Carr, a cyberwarfare consultant who has lectured at the U.S. Army War College, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and other government agencies calls the evidence “flimsy” and goes further ….. “He (Carr) told VOA in an interview that CrowdStrike mistakenly assumed that the X-Agent malware employed in the hacks was a reliable fingerprint for Russian actors.
“We now know that’s false,” he said, “and that the source code has been obtained by others outside of Russia.””
        4. Pavlo Narozhny, a technical adviser to Ukraine’s military, told VOA that while it was theoretically possible the howitzer app could have been compromised, any infection would have been spotted. “I personally know hundreds of gunmen in the war zone,” Narozhny told VOA in December. “None of them told me of D-30 losses caused by hacking or any other reason.”
Remember, CrowdStrike is the ONLY ONE who actually analyzed the DNC servers. FBI access to the physical servers (for examination) was denied. Strangely, instead of merely performing analysis for the DNC and issuing a report, the co-founder of Crowdstrike ALSO made appearances and gave interviews to PUSH the “Russian hacking” story.
        That’s odd.
Why would Dmitri Alperovitch, co-founder of Crowdstrike, Russian ex-pat and senior fellow at the Atlantic Council policy research center in Washington, give interviews to the Washington Post and appear on PBS News Hour on December 22 of 2016, ONE WEEK prior to Obama’s actions against 35 Russian diplomats?
        It gets better.
During these interviews, Alperovitch speculates the only person/entity who would gain from Russian hacking of an app to control D-30 Ukrainian howitzers AND the DNC would have been Vladimir Putin.
        No kidding.
Understand, the world-wide media had been consumed by a story of Russian hacking and the only entity with the servers is Crowdstrike. NO ONE has questioned their results. Why?
Crowdstrike refused to answer questions from VOA and cancelled a March 15th interview. Why?
CrowdStrike said it was long familiar with the methods used by Fancy Bear and another group with ties to Russian intelligence nicknamed Cozy Bear. Soon after, U.S. cybersecurity firms Fidelis and Mandiant endorsed CrowdStrike’s conclusions. THUS, the media claims SEVERAL experts in cyber-security have confirmed the results of Crowdstrike.
Their spokesperson, spokeswoman Ilina Dimitrova defended the company’s conclusions. “It is indisputable that the [Ukraine artillery] app has been hacked by Fancy Bear malware,” Dimitrova wrote. “We have published the indicators to it, and they have been confirmed by others in the cybersecurity community.” Do you see what happened there?
To claim the D-30 howitzers “app” was hacked, with no other corroborating evidence, is a fundamentally invalid claim on its surface.
To tie an alleged D-30 howitzer hack (unproven and now contested) to an obscure report of worldwide armament loss (when you never called the guy who made the report on howitzer loss for verification) is tortured logic. To claim these two events are related….. and furthermore tied to a hack at the DNC………. in a conspiracy by Vladimir Putin……… is a bridge too far.

May 22, 2017: Daughn’s Personal post/opinion, NOT legacy media. This is an update and a compilation of new info about CrowdStrike, their walk-back of the D-30 software targeting claim, and twisted logic from their spox, who claimed – paraphrasing, even though they were wrong, the 17 Intel Agencies back up their findings….. but what if the IC was depending on the info from CrowdStrike (as is clearly stated Link here )to reach their conclusions?

Yep, the whole DNC/MSM Russian hacking story is unraveling before our eyes.
CrowdStrike, the ONLY company allowed access to the DNC servers and the ONLY ones, with any authority, to claim “Russia hacked the DNC”, has now changed its original report, questioning their theory about the Ukrainian howitzers.
Well, if the theory about the app hacking of Ukrainian howitzers is no longer valid —– then Russian hacking of DNC is no longer valid.
PLUS – Evelyn Farkas, Obama holdover, went on MSNBC and actually admitted their were targeting Trump AND leaking. OMG. She is either stupid, the scapegoat, or it’s a headfake.
        Are you sitting down?
Evelyn Farkas is a high ranking “fellow” with The Atlantic Council. And guess who else is a senior fellow of the Atlantic Council? Dmitri Alperovitch – the founder and CTO of CrowdStrike! Alperovitch is head of the Atlantic Council’s “Cyber Statecraft Initiative”. The Atlantic Council is funded in part by the US State Department, NATO, the governments of Latvia and Lithuania, the Ukrainian World Congress, and the Ukrainian oligarch Victor Pinchuk. The Atlantic Council has been among the loudest voices calling for a new Cold War with Russia.
Here is an overview from Treehouse which includes the Varkas interview/confession of conspiracy on MSNBC.
Here is the link to the article talking about CrowdStrike’s changing theory – walk back of claims.
Here is the link to the original VOA article from March 22 questioning CrowdStrike’s theory and claims plus my summation below:http://www.voanews.com/a/crowdstrike-comey-rus…/3776067.html
Remember the DNC did NOT allow the FBI access to the DNC servers, despite many requests at different levels of authority.
One more important tidbit. We always try to look for coordination between the DNC/Hillary/Deep State/Obama holdovers and the news media. We found one primary link which fed the Crowdstrike information and narrative into NBC: Link Here

Crowdstrike insists that it’s Russia behind both Clinton’s and the Ukrainian losses. NBC carried the story because one of the partners in Crowdstrike is also a consultant for NBC. According to NBC the story reads like this.”The company, Crowdstrike, was hired by the DNC to investigate the hack and issued a report publicly attributing it to Russian intelligence. One of Crowdstrike’s senior executives is Shawn Henry, a former senior FBI official who consults for NBC News.

This represents everything I have for CrowdStrike and Russian Hacking of DNC/Hillary?/Podesta. PLEASE, add to it at will. ALL info is welcome. We need to flush out the theory and help our President.

        End ~~~~ for now.

They had to get Seth Rich out of the way, before they could come out and declare “It was Russia that hacked the DNC.”

I have 23 pages of notes I took from the conversation OT about Crowdstrike and the HACK.

This is probably THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT!!!

A top NSA whistleblower has revealed that the DNC emails were leaked internally by somebody working for the Democratic party, and not by hackers.

According to NSA agent Bill Binney, the DNC emails were transferred far too quickly for it to be the work of hackers.

What Is CrowdStrike? Firm Hired By DNC Has Ties To Hillary Clinton, A Ukrainian Billionaire, And Google

        JX says:
        July 13, 2018 at 4:38 pm
(12/26/2017) Fancy Bear malware was using a hard-coded IP address that had ceased to be a functioning part of the Fancy Bear infrastructure for almost a year.

You may have noticed in the mainstream press recently, there have been similar stories about Fancy Bear and CrookServers that make specific mention of Pakistan and do so in relation to the DNC “hack”.

The IP address, according to those articles, was disabled in June 2015, eleven months before the DNC emails were acquired – meaning those IP addresses, in reality, had no involvement in the alleged hacking of the DNC.

This is a more than reasonable question since Crowdstrike admits to doing just that.

ground zero is the cover story that the DNC emails published by Wikileaks beginning in JULY 22, 2016 (8 DAY BEFORE THE COUNTERINTEL INVESTIGATION BEGAN!) were “hacked” by the Russians. Ergo, the Russians are against Hillary; ergo, the Russians are working to elect Trump; ergo, Trump MUST be colluding with the Russians against Hillary.
Interesting, looking at this (largely fictional IMHO) timeline published in The Hill, the DNC (which we now know was a wholly owned subsidiary of HRC) believed it had been “hacked” by “Russians” in Sept. 2015, and then alleges that “the Russians” were shopping around the fact they had the emails to starting in the spring of 2016. The first items on this fanciful timeline that are known to be true is the April CrowdStrike report, a short 7 MONTHS after the alleged “breach” of the DNC servers.
Most likely, this was the beginning of the coverup for the NSA breaches – which Adm. Rogers cut off in April 2018. Coincidentally, when the DNC suddenly decided it had been “hacked” and hired CrowdStrike to prove it.

Also interesting: The WikiLeaks DNC emails were downloaded by an insider in JULY 2016, not hacked in September 2015.
        So fascinating:
        * April 2016: Adm. Rogers cuts off the unauthorized NSA database access after discovering and reporting the activity; DNC/HRC suddenly become aware of a “hack” and hire CrowdStrike.
July 2016: DNC insider downloads emails and gives to WikiLeaks. WikiLeaks almost immediately begins publishing DNC emails. Shortly after, Brennan/Halper fabricate the predicate for the FBI to open its Counterintel investigation alleging “Russians interference” against Clinton to help Trump. A convenient cover story that not only explains the WikiLeaks and preemptively provides an excuse for the most damaging possible revelations, but also permits the use of intel assets to continue spying on the Trump campaign.

John Podesta’s gmail account was breached in March 2016; the DNC leak occurred months later, in July. WikiLeaks released the DNC emails first, saving the more explosive Podesta emails for the “October surprise”.
It’s interesting how the DNC/HRC suddenly developed a sense of urgency about the September 2015 attempted hack (which, it is alleged, was a spearfishing attempt that also unsuccessfully targeted the RNC) as soon as Adm. Rogers cut off their access to the database, and REALLY got excited when WikiLeaks began teasing their upcoming releases.

There are 284 files in Wikileaks but the ones to focus on are in the Hacking Team section. The Hacking Team is a Italian surveillance malware vendor.

The CIA and Soros are all up in this muh Russia:
        From the Panama Papers:
Soros Capital set up an offshore company in the Cayman Islands for the purpose of investing private equity with the Carlyle Group, alongside members of Saudi Arabia’s Bin Laden family. Carlyle’s partners include ex-heads of state and former CIA officials. The private equity partnership specializes in buying and selling weapons manufacturing and intelligence gathering companies with government and military contracts and it also uses secret offshore companies to conduct business.
This is true because one year ago:
Trump quietly orders Pompeo to sever all CIA ties with George Soros

        TIME LINE
        12 June 2016:
Julian Assange, founder of Wikileaks said that the journalist organisation is planning to release upcoming leaks in relation to US presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.

Craig comment: The headline and content are misleading as Assange stated ‘Clinton related emails’ and this would not represent ‘more leaks’. On March 16, 2016 WikiLeaks launched a searchable archive for over 30 thousand emails & email attachments sent to and from Hillary Clinton’s private email server while she was Secretary of State. The 50,547 pages of documents span from 30 June 2010 to 12 August 2014. 7,570 of the documents were sent by Hillary Clinton. The emails were made available in the form of thousands of PDFs by the US State Department as a result of a Freedom of Information Act request.

        14 June 2016:
DNC and their representatives immediately react and go on the defensive, call in Washington Post for a hatchet piece. Not sure what Wikileaks have so create a story and match two issues – Russia & Trump incl opposition research. The tell that this is a DNC hatchet job is that the 235 page Trump opposition research document is subsequently released by Guccifer 2.

        15 June 2016:
Crowdstrike with ex-FBI folk dutifully publish a blog post ‘Bears in the Midst’ which has since been severely criticised.

        17 June 2016:
Fusion GPS hires Christopher Steele / Orbis Business Intelligence Ltd including associate Sir Andrew Wood GCMG.

        Scott Ritter:
“Mr. Steele was contracted by Fusion GPS sometime after June 17; less than three days later, he was able to produce a report that made use of no fewer than seven named senior sources, as well as making use of a “company ethnic Russian operative” to conduct an investigation inside Russia. This time frame is unrealistically short, suggesting that Steele himself was spoon fed a pre-packaged storyline”

        20 June 2016:
Christopher Steele first ‘company intelligence report’ 2016/080 to Fusion GPS with Russia meh.

Why Crowdstrike’s Russian Hacking Story Fell Apart- Say Hello To Fancy Bear
      By George Eliason – Jan 3, 2017: 6:27 pm

(RINF) – In the wake of the JAR-16-20296 dated December 29, 2016 about hacking and influencing the 2016 election, the need for real evidence is clear. The joint report adds nothing substantial to the October 7th report. It relies on proofs provided by the cyber security firm Crowdstrike that is clearly not on par with intelligence findings or evidence. At the top of the report is an “as is” statement showing this.

The difference between Dmitri Alperovitch’s claims which are reflected in JAR-1620296 and this article is that enough evidence is provided to warrant an investigation of specific parties for the DNC hacks. The real story involves specific anti-American actors that need to be investigated for real crimes.

For instance, the malware used was an out-dated version just waiting to be found. It makes it easier when it’s an old known version. Another interesting point is that the Russian malware called Grizzly Steppe is from Ukraine. How did Crowdstrike miss this when it’s their business to know?

Later in this article you’ll meet and know a little more about the real “Fancy Bear and Cozy Bear.” The bar for identification set by Crowdstrike has never been able to get beyond words like probably, maybe, could be, or should be, in their attribution.

The article is lengthy because the facts need to be in one place. The bar Dimitri Alperovitch set for identifying the hackers involved is that low. Other than asking America to trust them, how many solid facts has Alperovitch provided to back his claim of Russian involvement.

The December 29th JAR adds a flowchart that shows how a basic phishing hack is performed. It doesn’t add anything significant beyond that. Noticeably, they use both their designation APT 28 and APT 29 as well as the Crowdstrike labels of Fancy Bear and Cozy Bear separately.

This is important because information from outside intelligence agencies has the value of rumor or unsubstantiated information at best according to policy. Usable intelligence needs to be free from partisan politics and verifiable. Intel agencies noted back in the early 90’s that every private actor in the information game was radically political.

The Hill.com article about Russia hacking the electric grid is a perfect example of why this intelligence is political and not taken seriously. If any proof of Russian involvement existed, the US would be at war. Under current laws of war there would be no difference between an attack on the power grid or a missile strike. . .

  6. Has anyone looked up what Gabbard’s background (heritage) is? Could she be perhaps Lebanese or “Palestinian” by parentage (or even marriage)?

Or maybe she spent time “over there” and was indoctrinated?

(OK, OK, I know, Google is your Feind [enemy, auf Deutsch], but I’m wondering if anyone already knows)… Plus, it’s two weeks after my bedtime 🙂

Son of a….what in the hell did I just stumble upon. #Crowdstrike subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, Australia, Romania, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Mexico, Singapore, Japan, India, and Israel🤯 No wonder @realDonaldTrump brought them up.

Rudy also said something last week on Hannity about “wait until you hear Romania & other countries.”

There is so much more to this story.

Zero Hedge, speculation, but with lots of links

It is true that Obama Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, Evelyn Farkas, openly admitted to Spying On Trump Team And Leaking Of Intel. This is supported by video from MSNBC.

Ms. Farkas also had contact with the principal of Crowdstrike, founder Dimitri Alperovitch. Both of them are members of the Atlantic Council, which opposes any kind of co-operation with Russia, in favor of Ukraine.

  8. Thanks for this thread, Think*3!

It’s good to gather up whatever we can, that pertains to CrowdStrike.
Especially now…since our VSG mentioned them and tossed their name out into the light.

The mention of CrowdStrike is probably what freaked out the Dems and the Hussein crew.
It triggered them into such a panic…that they cooked up the fake impeachment to try to stop what they fear is coming.

I hope the pedo stuff comes out next.
It would knock the Dems back on their heals…and serve to wake up the public to how evil these people are.

It looks like Barr is taking out some of the fringe pedos first…and hopefully making his way up the chain to the big names.

  9. Here is another good article on CrowdStrike…from June 3, 2017:

“CONFIRMED: DNC paid the ‘Russian’ founder of CrowdStrike to hack its server so it could be blamed on Russia!”

    ———- From the article:

Key Point: CrowdStrike has since been proven to be a criminal hacking organization by Internet investigators. The shadowy cyber-firm was founded by a Russian-American so that the U.S. Intelligence Community could use it to perpetrate ‘Russian’ hacks. In this way, CrowdStrike methodically fabricates fake evidence on demand for the CIA/NSA/FBI which can then be blamed on Russia.

In the fictitious Russian election hack case, CrowdStrike was the C.I.A. contractor paid to create digital evidence with fake Russian “signatures” in order to incriminate the Kremlin. This fabrication of evidence appears to have been perpetrated in collusion with the creators of Guccifer 2.0. Did Guccifer 2.0 Fake “Russian Fingerprints?”

Here’s another fake report produced by CrowdStrike regarding a hacked “Ukrainian artillery app” during the Ukrainian War. It’s important to note that the following mainstream media account was published by Voice of America (VOA)—“a United States government-funded multimedia news outlet”.

What is particularly suspicious is that CrowdStrike is the only cybersecurity entity that has ever been given unfettered access to the DNC servers.

CrowdStrike can’t even be trusted to perform illegal hacking proficiently, much less confirm the true source of the DNC email hack. Therefore, if CrowdStrike asserts that the hackers were Russian, we know that Russia had absolutely nothing to do with it.

—————- More at the top link.

They go on to tell about “How they did it”.

  11. Thank you to Michael for dragging everything over here from the earlier April article we did on this issue.
Glad to have it all in one place.

    Bottom line:
    1. To this date there is ZERO proof the DNC was hacked by Russia.
    2. Alperovitch is Ukrainian (founder of Crowdstrike), Hillary had a LOT of help from Ukraine, Ukraine was the largest donor to the Clinton Foundation, Biden+ State Dept overthrew the dem elected government of Ukraine, and the HEAD of NABU (the national anti-corruption bureau) + one member of parliament fabricated false evidence about Paul Manafort, and the Bidens profited from connection to Ukraine.
    3. Google is neck deep in Crowdstrike.
    4. The Intel community issued a crappy report on Russian hacking…… twice. And the intel is wedded to the report. If exposed as a fallacy, the truth takes down the intel community.

  12. Worth noting:
In one of Giuliani’s interviews…….. he noted a large donor to the DNC spirited approx 700 million dollars out of Ukraine, and wondered if the counter-intel division of FBI was protecting the donor, along with Hillary/team.

    1. OR … !!!

What if that “DNC Server” was always a honey pot and not the REAL SERVER. That would explain the delay in locking it down. Maybe they didn’t want it examined because it would become obvious the whole server was a fraud, created specifically to create disinfo and frame those pesky Ruskies.

  14. Important stuff here, T*3, in highlighting Crowdstrike!!!

I apologize, but haven’t had time to read all 180 plus posts.

A general observation—with all the high-powered technology people involved with the Democrats and DNC (Google/Schmidt, Crowdstrike people, etc.)—it would seem that the DNC servers would have had the latest and greatest technology protecting the servers from “external” intrusion.

With this in mind, it would lead one to consider that the most opportunistic way to gather the information and data would be from the “inside,” and not over the internet. Crowdstrike is brought in to cover what Seth and Aaron Rich did from within the DNC. Binney makes a reasonable argument for an inside job.

FBI forensics would have readily determined this—so they are never allowed access to the servers (I mean, why was there even an option to refuse FBI examination by the DNC?)!!! Thus, Crowdstrike not only covers up an inside job, but a murder on the streets of DC!

    1. So Crowdstrike, after examining the servers for one day, were quick to conclude it was Cozy Bear and Fancy Bear (those damn Russian hackers!!!)—but forgot all about Teddy Bear (Seth Rich and his brother, Aaron)!!!

      Liked by 3 people

    2. And another note–an attempt of external intrusion into the RNC servers in 2016, but it was repelled by their security and firewall system in place.

So, the DNC with all their high-powered techno geeks onboard gets compromised by the “Ruskies”, but the RNC servers repel the attempt?

The Awan gang allowed by Wasserman-Schultz to run around at the DNC complex with possible access! None of this smells right

  15. Recall, Q kept hinting about a backdoor into Hillary’s personal server, and classified docs for sale, as in, Hillary ‘allowed” access.

Well, why didn’t Crowdstrike shut the system down at DNC as soon as they were called in?
Where were the operators doing the work for Crowdstrike on DNC?
    Were they in the Ukraine?
I mean, it makes no sense.

AS SOON as you know you’re being hacked, you take action asap.
And you sure as hell don’t let it go on for MONTHS.
Would love to subpoena Crowdstrike and see their work product.
Was there any, or were they just hired to write a fake report?
We know all the FBI received was a redacted “draft” copy of the final report, and when asked about it, Crowdstrike claimed it WAS the final report, and the redacted portion was “internal instructions/recommendations” for their client (the DNC) ……….. which makes no sense because why would that be redacted for the FBI?

The whole thing leads me to believe there was at least ONE copy of the DNC server in Ukraine and probably a whole warroom working on culling info from that server……. for months.
