Yesterday our  President delivered remarks with Crown Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al-Khaifa of Bahrain in the Oval Office; and held an impromptu press conference. A good amount of time was dedicated to Iran and the Saudi oil fields.

Below you will find shorter clips of the Q&A in the Oval Office.

Our President had a jammed pack day yesterday. Our President Trump recognized a career of accomplishment by presenting the Presidential Medal of Freedom to former New York Yankee Hall of Fame pitcher Mariano Rivera.

You can find the details of the ceremony in the link below.

Our President’s approval rating hit 50% in the daily Rasmussen Poll yesterday.

Nick posted the following in yesterday’s thread. I agree with him that it deserves exposure.

From the article linked above:

As I and many others have noted, the Democrats barely mentioned the economy during last week’s presidential debate. Why not? Because they look silly if they try to deny that the Trump administration, with the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and deregulation on a massive scale, has given the economy a major boost.

Trump’s boom is a particular problem for the Democrats because it is being felt where it counts, in jobs and wages. The Council of Economic Advisers published this graph a few days ago, along with a discussion of job growth under the Trump administration. The blue line is non-farm employment as projected by the Congressional Budget Office in its last release before the 2016 election. The red line is what has actually happened–ten times, in the current quarter, the job growth that the CBO predicted.

From the article linked above:

The New Testament tells us that “faith is … the evidence of things unseen.”

If that is true in politics, then the faith of Trump supporters that he will be reelected is based on what was unseen and unheard on the Democrat debate stage in Houston on Thursday — namely, the thriving economy and the many other accomplishments of this administration.

Finally, there is one more unseen thing that strengthens Republican faith in President Trump as we get closer to Election Day. That is the unseen — and usually unspoken — price tag for all the free stuff promised by the Democratic marauders who are laying siege to our capitalist economy. Free college, free pre-K, free health care, free jobs, free money — add it all up, and you will soon discover that a hundred trillion dollars in spending is the equivalent of that unseen iceberg that sunk the Titanic.

Another excellent article that was shared by Daughn yesterday.

From the article linked above:

The new post-Mueller media narrative is “weariness” and “exhaustion” with President Trump’s tweets, his cul de sac Sharpie controversy, his ideas about buying Greenland, his unorthodox art-of-the-deal foreign policy that resulted in a plan to talk to Taliban leaders in the United States, and his firing of arch-conservative John Bolton.

The Drudge Report, once a go-to site for Trumpism, now seems unapologetically anti-Trump, in its often trademark snarky style.

Are Trump supporters then weary?

The August jobs report “unexpectedly” reminds us that never have so many Americans been at work. The 3.7 percent unemployment rate continues to be the lowest peacetime unemployment figure in 50 years. Black and Hispanic unemployment remain at record lows. Workers’ wages continue to rise. Talk of recession is belied by low interest, low inflation, low unemployment, and a strong stock market. The result is that millions of Americans enjoy far better lives than they had in 2016.

When we look to alternatives, all we seem to hear is multi-trillion-dollar hare-brained schemes from radical progressives and socialists masquerading as Democrats at a time of record national debt. The Green New Deal, Medicare for All, free healthcare for illegal aliens, reparations, the abolition of $1.5 trillion in student loan debt, and free tuition for all—are the stuff of fantasies and either would have to be repudiated by any of the Democratic nominees who actually was elected, or would destroy an already indebted nation.

I was so excited to see this tweet yesterday. I have been following Anna for a while. She is very outspoken about what is happening at the Southern Border. She has decided to run for the seat currently occupied by Charlie Crist (FL-D13).

It is just a matter of time before Matteo Salvini is the PM of Italy. He is considered the Donald J. Trump of Italy.

Mitch McConnell had some words for the Democrats, MSM, Leftists etc. on the Senate floor yesterday.

I love the fact that our President and his team are expanding the Electoral Map! Democrats, MSM, Never Trumpers etc. are trying to sell it to their crazies that our President is afraid of the states he won that may go back to the Democrats.

THEY ARE ONCE AGAIN SELLING BS!

From the article linked above:

The Trump 2020 campaign noticed something interesting while crunching data from its February rally in El Paso: A significant percentage of the crowd crossed into Texas from Las Cruces, New Mexico, including plenty of women and Hispanics, who will be pivotal to the president’s reelection prospects.

“That piqued our interest in New Mexico,” said Tim Murtaugh, the Trump campaign’s director of communications.

Mr. Trump will rally with supporters outside Albuquerque, the state’s largest city, on Monday as part of a bid to expand his 2016 victory map and win states that have tilted blue in recent presidential cycles.

Besides New Mexico, the campaign is eyeing New Hampshire, Colorado, Nevada and even Oregon, which has a libertarian streak and, the Trump team theorizes, could be stocked with voters sick of hyper-PC antics in liberal Portland.

“Why would you not? If you think you can be competitive and win in any given state, why would you not take a shot at it?” Mr. Murtaugh said.

The campaign says New Mexico is a ripe target because Mr. Trump has a “good story to tell” about job creation there, especially in the petroleum industry.

This has to be driving the Leftists, MSM, Democrats etc. crazy!

From the article linked above:

A gun store in Arizona sold out of AR-15s within four hours of running a “Beto Special” deal poking fun at the Democratic presidential candidate who promised to ban AR-15s if elected.

Alpha Dog Firearms announced it would be selling AR-15s for $349.99 on Friday, hours after Beto O’Rourke pledged to ban the weapons at the ABC News debate on Thursday night. O’Rourke was adamant that his buyback program would be mandatory, not voluntary, going on to assure the debate moderators that “hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15.”

Seems like the African Swine Flu has spread.

My pot belly pig got really scared when I shared the story at home this weekend. Muh Shu (aka Big Baby) doesn’t want to end up on Kin Jung-un’s dinner table. I assured her that she wouldn’t unless it meant complete denuclearization. This is the look she gave me.

Happy Constitution Day! On September 17, 1787, Constitutional Convention delegates met at Independence Hall to sign the founding document that requires jury trials and now due process, protecting Americans from being imprisoned for their political views.

    This is interesting.
It was fairly quiet and somewhat innocuous.

Why would there be a threat to Iranian oil?

The Saudis are not good at taking it in the chin with no reaction.

Hmm, no one was reported as killed so I would surmise that any retaliation will be infrastructure.
    Maybe.

While there will be no retaliation from the U.S.

The Saudis may remove Iranian oil from the market for a long time.

More pressure on China. Oh, guess what, we suddenly don’t have enough to keep you supplied.

You know, there needs to be some way to detect esophageal cancer early. I have known far too many patients. It never gets discovered until it’s stage 4. Our doctors need to brainstorm – what ROUTINE test or scan could find it?
