Dear KAG: 20190904 Open Thread

Are y’all sure you’re ready? This is a short week, and the hump is more or less not in play.

Well, for those who need a pick me up after a long weekend, here you go.

HI HO! AND AWAY WE GO! Silver, gold and any other precious metal or commodity you and yours wish to trade.

Okay, so here’s the deal. This is the open thread. This is where we all come to get the news that other Q tree inhabitants think is worth knowing and sharing. Please, post links to any “news” stories quoted, and ask for help if you are stumped as to how to do that. We’re a friendly lot. Someone will be with you shortly, and there is no reason to have to press one for English.

Free speech, and the open exchange and hashing out of ideas is not only allowed, but encouraged. If we all don’t use it, we’re going to lose it. A little incivility goes a long way, though. Please, avoid the following if you can help it.

With all luck the Marquess of Queensberry rules will not be needed.

There are a few rules here in the branches of the Q Tree. Our host, Wolfm00n, outlined them in a post on New Years Day. Please, review these rules at least as often as you change the battery in the smoke detector…or at least as often as you are supposed to.

Fellow tree dweller Wheatie gave us some good reminders on the basics:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

Steve suggests we do not point firearms at the nuclear weapons, and I, Deplorable Patriot, bossy chick that I am, requests no teasing the animals, pets and wildlife alike.

Teasing and trolling the lefties and their bastions, on the other hand is a moral imperative. You all have seen this one, right?

In the eternal fight against the forces of evil and darkness, unceasing prayer is always needed. From yesterday’s Lectionary.

Fifth Chapter of St. Paul’s First Letter to the Thessalonians:

Concerning times and seasons, brothers and sisters,
you have no need for anything to be written to you.
For you yourselves know very well
that the day of the Lord will come like a thief at night.
When people are saying, “Peace and security,”
then sudden disaster comes upon them,
like labor pains upon a pregnant woman,
and they will not escape.

But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness,
for that day to overtake you like a thief.
For all of you are children of the light
and children of the day.
We are not of the night or of darkness.
Therefore, let us not sleep as the rest do,
but let us stay alert and sober.
For God did not destine us for wrath,
but to gain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep
we may live together with him.
Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up,
as indeed you do.

This seems to be St. Paul’s version of “take the red pill, dude.” Don’t be blind to what is going on around you and oblivious to the dangers of the world and the darkness of the evil that seeks to destroy us all mind body and soul.

As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome.

And now, on to the day’s news…..

According to FEC reports, Omar has received $8,500 in donations from Apple employees, and $7150 from Google employees, her two top donors.
As of date, Omar has raised a little over $1.4 million for her re-election campaign, and has already spent $539,315 of it, a large portion of which has reportedly been given to Tim Mynett,

Luckily, for Omar, who is arguably the most scandal plagued first term Congresswoman in US history, the big tech social media companies, including Google, Apple, Facebook, and Twitter, all control the search engine algorithms.

In 2018, before Omar was elected to office, Apple used a Time Magazine photo of Ilhan Omar to promote a the new iPhone.
The use of Omar’s picture in an Apple presentation wasn’t random. The act of using an image to promote a product or vice versa is called “product placement”,

#2 the skill taught must be apropriate to THAT part of the world.

#3. The area must be safe enough that when the man catches the fish it is not stolen.

    1. Erm, I thought ISIS has been considered to be defeated, i.e. there isn’t a huge problem in Syria anymore. Even here in Beautiful Downtown Deutschland they’re talking about changing the status.

Seems that the first thing ISIS did when invading Syria was steal all the passport machines and passport blanks, so there are zillions of “Syrians” roaming around Europe as refauxgees who are neither Syrian nor refugees… (you can’t be Syria’s……..).

Funny trivia, at HP we called vacation/sick time “FTO”… considering how we were forbidden to use it around Y2K, kinda fits… [Flexible Time Off]

  4. Can anyone explain this case to me and this outcome?

WASHINGTON (AP) — Prominent DC attorney Greg Craig found not guilty of deceiving the Justice Department about his work for Ukraine.”

    1. Sorry, I can’t. I haven’t delved into it, but pgroup says in a post below, “This is what happens when someone prominent is prosecuted on a minor charge. IMO, it is what DJT and Barr are trying to avoid during Operation Swamp Drain.”

  5. More news from the shithole that is Kalifonication….

(Insane drooling leftist idiot K)alifornia Gov. Gavin Newsom on Tuesday signed a bill that allows citizens to refuse assistance to law enforcement officers in distress who require aid during arrests.

Newsom struck down the The California Posse Comitatus Act of 1872 that gave misdemeanor penalties for any “able bodied” individual over 18-years-old that declined to help an officer in distress.”

The good news is that as more and more of this kind of thing happen, the more and more LE is going to be red-pilled.

    Don’t think so?

    Check this out….

“There was some good news for Boston police and all Americans in a Boston courtroom where Judge Thomas Horgan told three protestors charged with assaulting police during an Antifa protest of the Straight Pride Parade in the city on Saturday to “Stay out of Boston” while they await their next court appearance in November.

In another courtroom, Judge Richard Sinnott denied requests from prosecutors — yes, you read that right, prosecutors — to dismiss charges against seven others arrested on lesser charges.

“We’re very happy with the judge’s decision,” said Larry Calderone, a representative of the Boston Police Patrolmen Association.“

    1. LEO ARE red pilled. Did you mean the general population? Thats who needs a red pill.
What this does is continue to erode protection for police. In doing so, police are LESS LIKELY to engage, esp in CA. The democrats have made most basic crime not illegal, an infraction, only diversion, etc. They also have a very anti law enforcement agenda. This will be miscontrued as encouraged to commit acts against police bc people are stupid and dont read.
You want apathetic cops, lazy cops, corrupt cops? All the good ones will retire, leave the state, or quit law enforcement. Thry actually have been here pretty fast, esp with major pushing for diversity hires above COMPETENCY(see the Lancaster deputy who faked the shooting).
The public better WAKE THE F UP. Newsom is an evil man.

          1. gil, it’s sad…bc the Police who are leaving are actually the dedicated ones…and a blessing to the communities which welcome them as “new” hires.

    2. Yes, instead of playing cops and robbers they have to play cops and prosecutors. I think we saw that with the Smollett fiasco as well.

It just tells you how high up the corruption goes when the cops no longer rate to be on the take, while the prosecutors get all the corruption dollars.

I’m sure it’s more economical that way since instead of paying off a lot cops you just pay off a couple of prosecutors. Must be a Soros idea, what with him buying all these city DA’s.

And Gavin Gruesom as well. He (as well as Chi-Spy-Di-not-so-Feinstein) contributed (spit) a lot to SF being the $hithole it is today. Breaks my heart. I grew up in the SF Bay Area, and I’d like to show my family what a greaet place it…….. WAS…

    1. Refreshing my memory, from the article below:
The House of Representatives Homeland Security Committee demanded that owner Jim Watkins, an American living in the Philippines, testify about 8chan’s efforts to address “the proliferation of extremist content, including white supremacist content.”

The committee’s Democratic chairman, Bennie Thompson, and Mike Rogers, the committee’s ranking Republican, sent a letter to Watkins asking him to appear before the committee, noting that the El Paso massacre “is at least the third act of supremacist violence linked to your website this year.”

In the heavily Hispanic city of El Paso on Saturday, a gunman killed 22 people at a Walmart store. Authorities have cited a lengthy anti-immigrant manifesto, apparently posted on 8chan by the suspect, as evidence the bloodshed was racially motivated.

Looks as if they’ll be gunning for Watkins about the site “condoning violence” and not having “safeguards” in place (meaning they can’t control it). Meanwhile, social media platforms allow Islamic and other hate speech while banning conservatives — hypocrites and haters of America that they are. (In my opinion, if you’re advocating against the Bill of Rights, you’re working against America.)

I hope it goes well. I expect him to be fully prepared for all the hype and baloney.

    The 4 functions of Q

We are coming to the end of summer, with the Labor Day holiday weekend now in the past. The evenings will grow darker and cooler, people will return indoors, and the TV screen will regain their attention. The collective consciousness will turn back to the business of government — and criminal justice.

Senator Graham has made a formal request to Attorney General Barr for him to declassify the material related to the illegal spying on the Trump administration. This Spygate scandal is finally going to hit the public realm, exposing the corrupt alliance between the DNC, a compromised justice system, and the crooked mass media.

This sets up a cascade of revelations of high-level criminality — together with further media complicity to cover it up. This collusion includes both the mass published media, as well as social media platforms. YouTube, Facebook and Twitter masquerade as neutral communications services, but are really illegal gatekeepers of information.

This denouement to the scandal was long anticipated: a collapse of credibility of the media institutions that are meant to support the free flow of information and hold power to account. It is a crisis of trust the like of which has never been encountered before.

This is where the Q operation comes in: we have had nearly two years of preparation for this moment. Citizen journalists and alternative media are already taking up the mantle of reliable and truthful sources, overtaking the discredited corporate mass media in both audience size and engagement.

I was recently asked to summarise “what is Q?”, and came up with four core functions that this military intelligence program implements for these extraordinary times.

    1. Q is a multi-year process to disclose secret illegal government activity

There are over 3500 “drops” by Q to date, but the core tale of corruption is told in the first 100. Anybody can go read them in an hour or so. The very uncomfortable truth is that the US Government has long been beholden to an institutionalised system of transnational crime, that has also hijacked many other countries.

Q gave open source researchers a framework in which to “dig” for data on this system of criminality. The belief that Hillary Clinton — essentially a puppet of that system — could not lose the 2016 election had made them careless, and left an extensive public evidence trail. The result is a vast trove of vetted data collated by anonymous citizens working in collaboration worldwide.

To say that what has been uncovered is disturbing is to miss the point: not only are many “conspiracy theories” true, they are interlinked as part of a single plan to destroy freedom and bring on global totalitarian rule. Your worst nightmares of betrayal and genocide were being actively implemented — by those who had sworn to serve you.

Specifically, Obama was not a legitimate President, and every part of his legacy will be dismantled. He is the greatest political fraud ever perpetrated, and that is against some stuff competition from his predecessors. Hillary Clinton was meant to be a continuation of that fraud to its destructive conclusion. The corporate media have known this all along, and exposure of the plot will destroy them.

At the heart of this psychopathic system of criminal power is the multi-generational abuse of children, tied to an ancient sex and death cult. Government by occult forces seems like science fiction, but it turns out to be the world we live in. Understanding this ugly reality is the key to ending the evil that it perpetuates.

    2. Q is a prophylactic against civil war and vigilante activity

The last two years have seen a nonstop battle between the mainstream and alternative media for “narrative supremacy”. It has involved the mass media pushing the Russiagate hoax, which now lies broken and exposed as a fabricated and paid-for lie.

The mass media had to attempt to unseat President Trump in order to preserve themselves. Whilst the attempted coup it represents is very serious, in many ways this has proven to be a distraction. The public has been kept engaged — and dare I say even entertained — with this drama, whilst the painstaking process of cleaning up the justice system has quietly taken place in the background.

Q has given activists for justice a focus that they otherwise would have lacked. Q has offered an angry public hope — grounded in practical progress — of a peaceful outcome using the lawful system of civilian and military justice. For the real challenge is not arraigning the traitors, but doing so in a way that doesn’t cause society to collapse.

As the treason of many trusted politicians, business leaders, and military personnel is now revealed, there is an established Q movement with a track record of peaceful investigation of the truth, rather than vigilante activity seeking revenge. The collapse of trust in the mass media — who covered for these crimes — will not leave a vacuum for troublemakers to occupy.

The Q drops demonstrate that what is unfolding is all part of a managed process of justice that has been thought through with military precision. It gives ordinary people awakening to the nightmare confidence in the plan for resolution, and a good reason to reject those who would wish to cause harm by inciting violence or insurrection.

    3. Q is a training program in discernment and logical thinking

Decades of media brainwashing and social conditioning have led much of the public to mistrust their own judgement, and to disbelieve the evidence of their own eyes and ears. The weaponisation of mass media against the very citizens it was meant to protect creates deep social division and mutual distrust.

Propaganda has been packaged as journalism, and the skill of distinguishing these is not offered in schools. Quite the opposite is true: public education has become indoctrination. Criminals have taught people to shut down rational inquiry on hearing the term “conspiracy theory”, and hence ignore their crimes, based on the threat of being ridiculed and socially ostracised.

Q is like a grand bootcamp for digital soldiers, who have to learn to deal with this complex and contentious information landscape. The Q drops frequently use the Socratic method, encouraging learning via asking questions, rather than providing packaged answers. Q incites people to think for themselves — rather than telling people what to think — and to use logic rather than emotion.

Q has helped us to understand what kinds of data we can rely on in a data environment filled with disinformation, and what we should be wary of. We have had to become more judicious in our selection of valid sources, and more discerning about future dates and events that may or may not transpire. Q has validated our trust in evidence and reason over purported authority.

Two years of the building of this “Q Army” has created a mass movement of people who question everything they are told, taking nothing at face value. We have learned to expand our thinking, and are open to new possibilities that would previously have been dismissed as too “out there”. For the truth really is stranger than fiction — by far.

    4. Q is an information weapon against institutionalised crime and corrupted media

The corporate media is the most powerful weapon of the criminal “deep state” that is right now being removed from power. The media’s deceit has captured the souls of many of our compatriots into a web of lies and hatred. To counter this, Q has created a formidable foe to take on the “fake news”, as digital soldiers dissect every falsehood in real time, 24×7.

In the coming battle, the corrupt mass media will attempt to spin everything to their advantage — no matter how indefensible. They have already been working hard to get ahead of the story, setting up doubts about video evidence as being “deep fakes”; suggesting that paedophilia is a sexual preference rather than a serious crime; and even attempting to normalise cannibalism. (The word “pedovore” is one I wish I hadn’t had reason to encounter.)

Ultimately the public are going to have to decide who is telling the truth: is the mass media offering journalism or propaganda? Can it be really true that they are just one coordinated narrative under so many seemingly independent brands? How could such an unethical system of mind control ever be possible in a modern technological age?

The Q operation has been set up with the ultimate catch-22 for a corrupt corporate media, proving conclusively that it is pure propaganda, and not legitimate journalism. How so? The identity of Q is deliberately opaque. Q is not a “formal” program of the US government or military. Yet Q offers hundreds of data points that demonstrate Q is indeed linked to the Trump administration.

Any ordinary person can seek these out and validate them. They are beyond compelling. Meanwhile, the corporate media writes endless hit pieces on Q denouncing everything Q offers as “debunked conspiracy theory”. They write ad hominem attacks on those who think for themselves and reject the media’s false narrative.

Yet these “journalists” never do the most basic investigative activity of asking President Trump whether Q is legitimate, and if he is connected to it. This “Q question” turns Q into the most powerful (and paradoxical) information weapon in history: the credibility of the entire mass media is on the line, and every day they fail to ask it more people come to realise they are not in the business of journalism.

The mass media’s refusal to ask this simple question constantly destroys their credibility, with no action or effort required by the forces of truth. As Spygate and other scandals unfold, the outrage of the public at the complicity of the media will grow, and demands for the “Q question” to be asked will become irresistible.

At that point, the corrupt corporate media will have triggered their own demise: every assertion of Q they dispute will necessitate public proof. An avalanche of disclosure will cascade down and bury them. Every previous hit piece they wrote on Q will act as an epitaph — and a warning to those who might consider such organised lies in future.

A lost art/talent. Ironically it’s supposedly taught in the schools, but what is actually taught is blind faith of following the 1337s, the leets. Being a sheeple, for Dummies.

Straight-up reporting has been replaced by advocacy, propaganda, and opinion masquerading as impartial reporting. Chet Huntley and David Brinkley predicted this 50 years ago; and it’s probably been even longer in the making (just look at political cartoons from the time of Lincoln and earlier)…

As Q and the article say (or imply), there’s a lot of groundwork needed before everything comes out. Most folks would otherwise be stunned, or dismiss things out of hand. Oddly enough, even OT discussed this a couple of years ago, although it seems he’s forgotten what he wrote… (it it’s still him, that is…),

  9. Q news from NeonRevolt:
A couple of days ago NeonRevolt said he had news about Q to share that would blow our minds. Well, here it is:
The Google whistleblower, Zach Vorhies, got a message out of the blue from a number he didn’t recognize.

    From the article:
The very day that Vorhies went public with Project Veritas, he gets a text message out-of-the-blue.

It’s from a number he has never seen before, and has never had any contact with.

    And it is startling:

Do not worry, you have guardian angels watching over you.

Zach shows me this conversation, and of course all kinds of questions run through our minds. Is this legit? Is there anyway to verify this? Should we, uhhhhh, call back the number it came from?

There is more in the article about whether Q would really do this. Whether it was actually Q or not, it’s interesting.

  11. They’re sleazy through and through~~

The legal team representing the Obamas filed a petition to cancel the trademark of an e-book publishing company called Higher Ground Enterprises, much to the chagrin of the publishing company.

“This is really deplorable behavior. I hope that the Obamas realize that these actions are not consistent with the values they preach and that they instruct their attorneys to immediately dismiss the petition,” attorney Larry Zerner told Fox News in a statement that was first given to The Hollywood Reporter.

Zerner told Fox News that the “Obamas have known for almost a year” that their Higher Ground Productions trademark application was rejected by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office because it was too similar to his client’s Higher Ground Enterprises.

“Instead of simply picking another name, the Obamas’ lawyers have now filed a meritless petition to cancel my client’s trademark so they can take it for themselves,” Zerner said.

“Crews on Wednesday have recovered the remains of 33 of the 34 people presumed dead two days after a dive boat carrying 39 people caught fire while anchored off Santa Cruz Island several miles west of Oxnard.

The search for the remaining body continued Wednesday, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office said. Those who were found suffered “varying degrees of damage from the devastating fire, requiring DNA analysis to aid the identification process,” the agency said.

The five people who survived were on the upper decks when the blaze ignited just after 3 a.m. Monday, and they were able to jump off the Conception, according to authorities.

The remaining occupants of the boat, however, were asleep in the lower deck and the flames likely blocked their escape routes, Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown said. What caused the fire remained under investigation.

The 75-foot vessel was on a three-day scuba diving trip and was scheduled to return to Santa Barbara Harbor at 5 p.m. later that day, according to the diving company that chartered the boat.

While the Santa Barbara County coroner has not publicly released the names of the victims,  family members and others who knew them have identified at least 22 of them.

  13. This just made me laugh: Liberal Snowflake Melts Down after Man in Trump 2020 T-Shirt Walks into a Traders Joe’s — So Upset She Writes Letter to Editor

FYI FROM THE EDITOR: Lessons from Cheryl Boyles

FYI I have my very own Trader Joe’s story: I saw a very large pickup truck parked outside of mine and it had a HRC sticker on it. Now for the life of me I could not understand why a massive pick up truck would have a HRC bumper sticker on it. But again to each his own. I was done with my shopping and I had a better view of the bumper sticker and it said: hillary for prison

    NOW that MADE sense!!!!! 😀

Apparently if we don’t listen to Greta and Harry its okay to eat each other.

IMO it’s not a good idea to advocate such while in Sweden, because you know… its not a good idea.

Paul Watosn caps off the story…but some of you have likely seen it, but if you haven’t here it is.

  16. Exactly! Had you ever seen so many predictions for a hurricane before? It’s like they were saying “Go ahead Mr. President, see if you can stop this one! ”

  17. 😡 GRRRRRRRrrrrr 😡

I just did some last minute shopping and topped off my gas tank. As I was waiting to pay The Fake News was on and saying that AGAIN ONCE MORE President Trump said the hurricane would hit Alabama…..

I blew my top! I Called them liars and said they were quoting President Trump out of context. I said to the people in the store that I had just watched a President Trump press conference where he pulled out the ORIGINAL map that showed a storm track crossing Florida and hitting the gulf states including Alabama, BUT that President Trump also said the storm has changed track and is now headed up the coast towards N & SC.

H/T to FLep for providing me just the ammunition I needed!

I sure am glad I do not have a TV I would have pulled out the paint ball gun and repeatedly blasted it by now!!!

  18. So your kids teacher hates guns, hates conservatives? You wont have sex with an employer ir an employee? Your coworker wants you out of the way so he can get your job? Report to the state. Fascism.

“Employers, co-workers and teachers could ask judges to take away guns from people who are deemed a danger to themselves or others under a bill that has cleared the California Senate.

California enacted a so-called “red flag law” that took effect in 2016. But it only allows law enforcement and immediate family members to ask judges for gun restraining orders. Assembly Bill 61 by Democratic Assemblyman Phil Ting of San Francisco would expand that law.

Ting introduced the bill in response to a November 2018 mass shooting in Thousand Oaks, California, where 12 people were killed. The gunman, Ian David Long, had shown signs of instability to family and friends.

Groups advocating gun rights and civil liberties oppose the bill, which still must be approved by the state Assembly.”

    1. “Plaintiff seeks (a) compensatory damages, statutory damages (threefold the actual damages sustained), and punitive damages in the sum of $9,900,000.00, plus (b) prejudgment interest on the principal sum awarded by the Jury at the rate of six percent per year from January 25, 2018 pursuant to § 8.01-382 of the Virginia Code (1950), as amended (the “Code”), (c) a reasonable attorney’s fee, (d) post-judgment interest, and (e) court costs – arising out of the Defendants’ acts of racketeering activity in violation of Title 18 U.S.C. § 1962(a-c), conspiracy to violate Title 18 U.S.C. § 1962(a-c), and common law conspiracy.”

I love it. From mere “conspiracy theory” to a racketeering lawsuit!

Reminds me how people use “conspiracy theory” in a manner that has no legal meaning or standard.

    1. “… The move will effectively defund 127 Pentagon projects across the country in order to fund 11 projects covering 175 miles of new or reconstructed barriers along the US-Mexico border. According to Pentagon officials, this will reduce the need for American troops to reinforce border security.

“This funding will all go to adding significantly new capabilities to [the Department of Homeland Security’s] ability to prevent illegal entry,” said Pentagon chief spokesman, Jonathan Rath Hoffman, who added “In areas where we go from, say, a vehicle barrier to a 30-foot wall, we will have a significantly new set of capabilities that didn’t exist previously.”

On Tuesday, Defense Secretary Mark Esper began the process of notifying US lawmakers whose districts are affected by the changes – and Senate Minority Chuck Schumer is already complaining.

“This decision will harm already planned, important projects intended to support our service members at military installations in New York, across the United States, and around the world,” said Schumer, adding “It is a slap in the face to the members of the Armed Forces who serve our country that President Trump is willing to cannibalize already allocated military funding to boost his own ego and for a wall he promised Mexico would pay to build.”

Chuckie, are you sure you wanted to use that word “CANNIBALIZE” in your whine ?

      1. 💲💲💲💲 Schumer is afraid he will not get all those kickbacks from the projects he had aimed at New York…

Of course that is in addition to the BRIBE money he might not get from the Drug Cartels and Chinese if the Wall cuts sharply into their profits. 💲💲💲💲
