News Roundup! Former CEO Of Overstock Corp., Recession My Ass Says the Economic Train, Interview With Larry Kudlow, The Federal Reserve Is Messing With the Wrong LION, Not Easy To Buy A Gun At Walmart, 17 Immigration Fixes, Medal Of Freedom Given To Bob Cousy, Mumbling Stumbling Biden…..

WOW! This has the potential to be very explosive.

  • Byrne is now saying that in 2015 and 2016 the FBI operation was part of a network of political surveillance being conducted by the FBI on different presidential candidates.
  • Byrne names FBI Agent Peter Strzok as the person giving the instructions.
  • Byrne names: Hillary Clinton, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz and Donald Trump as the four candidates under FBI surveillance, and/or inside an operation consisting of political espionage.
  • Byrne claims he was offered a $1 billion bribe to keep quiet.
  • Byrne also states that there are additional witnesses.
  • Byrne states he went to the DOJ in April 2019 (3rd – 10th), after Bill Barr became the Attorney General because he was informed that the new AG was trustworthy and going to support.
  • Byrne told the DOJ everything that was happening.
  • Byrne sees the deep divisions currently in our country as partly driven by this FBI operation which was political espionage.
  • Byrne feels an obligation to share the truth in an effort to help the nation understand what was happening.

Here is a thread on Overstock’s CEO Robert Byrne and his interview with Martha McCallum. We have to pray for Robert because they will do anything to shut him up.

They can stick their recession right up their asses. The Economic Train is having fun with all of them. The Economy is humming and there is nothing they can do or say that will change it.

From the article linked above:

The number of Americans filing applications for unemployment benefits fell sharply last week, suggesting the labor market was holding firm despite a manufacturing slowdown and concerns the economy is on a path toward recession.

Initial claims for state unemployment benefits dropped 12,000 to a seasonally adjusted 209,000 for the week ended Aug. 17, the Labor Department said on Thursday.

The decline was sharper than expected. Economists polled by Reuters had forecast claims would drop to 216,000 in the latest week.

Larry Kudlow joined Fox Business yesterday afternoon to discuss the current state of the economy. He was also questioned about the media reports surrounding discussions of new tax cuts, tax rate modifications and tax policy.

He also discussed the latest position on the U.S-China trade discussion.

The Federal Reserve is doing everything in their power to mess with our Economy. It won’t work and will destroy the world economy even more.

From the article linked above:

Federal Reserve officials may not tweet their views of monetary policy but on Thursday they were happy to take to television interviews to challenge President Donald Trump’s view about the need for lower rates.

The heads of the Kansas City and Philadelphia Federal Reserve banks both said in interviews with CNBC that they thought the July rate cut was unnecessary and further cuts uncalled for. The bond market momentarily seemed to revolt, inverting the yield curve for the third time in eight days.

Another BS narrative blows up in their face!

From the article linked above:

  • Walmart is facing calls to stop selling guns in the wake of deadly shootings at its stores.
  • I went to a Walmart store in Virginia with the intention of buying a gun as part of an investigation into the placement, selection, marketing, security, and sales of firearms in Walmart’s stores.
  • My journey to bring a gun home from Walmart was more complicated than I expected, and I was left with the impression that the company takes gun security and sales seriously.

  • Walmart does not make it easy to figure out which stores sell guns.
  • The firearms at Walmart were locked inside a case and secured to one another with zip ties attached to a metal cord.
  • Only certain employees can open the case and handle the firearms. These include sporting-goods associates or salaried managers who have passed both an enhanced background check and online training provided by Walmart, the company told me. The store employees abided by these rules while I was there.
  • When I asked to purchase a gun, the Walmart employee who was authorized to sell guns called for backup to make sure the process was completed correctly.
  • Walmart refused to sell me a gun when an authorized seller wasn’t present and when the address on my license didn’t match my home address, even though those issues could mean a lost sale.
  • There were no advertising materials or promotions in the store to lure people to buy guns.

Excellent article that explains the 17 different fixes that are cutting illegal crossings.

From the article linked above:

The Trump administration’s change, announced Wednesday, to end “catch-and-release” immigration is the 17th initiative announced this year alone — moves that are leading to a decrease in illegal crossings.

Below are the immigration efforts unveiled this year by the administration, pulled from a new fact sheet:

  • Flores change to stop catch-and-release by holding immigrant families in federal facilities while their case is processed instead of releasing them after 20 days and hoping they return to immigration courts.
  • Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP), a deal in which migrants seeking admission to the U.S. from Mexico may be required to wait in Mexico. Since it was signed in May, Southwest border arrests have decreased 43%.
  • Border Wall. 52 miles new wall built in heavily trafficked areas along the Southern border with 334 miles of border wall promised to be built by the end of 2020.
  • 5,000 troops have been sent to the border.
  • The Pentagon has redirected $2.5 billion from the military construction budget to help build 100 miles of the wall along the Southern border.
  • The U.S. and Guatemala agreed to enter an Asylum Cooperative Agreement to allow asylum seekers to be transported to Guatemala to seek asylum there first.
  • $4.6 billion in emergency aid sought by the administration was approved. The administration said it provided “minimal funding for the humanitarian mission at the border, providing supplies for the hundreds of thousands of aliens coming into the country each month.”
  • The “asylum rule” made migrants ineligible for asylum if they passed through another country on their way to the U.S. without claiming asylum there. Only 10 to 15 percent are ever granted asylum.
  • The public charge rule requires immigrants to “be self-sufficient and able to support themselves without specified government welfare benefits.”
  • Drug enforcement was expanded. In June, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol seized a vessel that contained 33 thousand pounds of cocaine, one of the largest cocaine drug seizures in history.
  • The administration moved to challenge activist judicial decisions.
  • Law enforcement has been beefed up, especially at ICE where enforcement and removal operations have been expanded.
  • More Border Patrol agents have been assigned to the border.
  • More asylum officers, 500 more by the end of the year, have been created.
  • Sponsors of migrants are now facing enforcement of their legal responsibilities.
  • Justice issued a rule “more clearly defining the category of ‘social groups’ as a claim for credible fear in asylum cases.”
  • The minimum investment required in the EB-5 Visa Immigrant Investor Program was increased.

    1. I had a Jewish friend who used to tell me Jew jokes. One of his favorites was to say, did you know the Jews were responsible for sinking the Titanic? When the response was horror at making such a Jew-hating assertion, he would say, no it’s true – Iceberg; Goldberg; Steinberg;

He would keep reciting names that ended in berg until his audience laughed heartily. Usually took three.

Another one he liked was how copper wire was invented. Two Jews fighting over a penny.

He lead me to Christ (go figure) and gave me what I needed to go on the upward path.

How many people can legitimately claim to have a Jew show them the Way? I might be the only one.

            1. We have a friend who is Jewish and a lawyer. He is ALWAYS sending us Jewish jokes and lawyer jokes. So what is wrong with laughing at ourselves?

One of the WORST problems from PCism is we have lost our ability to laugh with each other because everyone is now overly sensitive. I think it is a crying shame that we no longer have Free Speech even when it comes to telling jokes.

              1. I taught Jewish education for years. This kind of dialogue has roots in antisemitic behavior. Your friend has no dignity and respect for that. It is not a matter of PC. Try being Jewish and hear what I hear….my last name is anglicized and I hear the most disgusting comments. Antisemitism is surging in America. This is one of the ways to stop that.

            2. The phrase “Jew jokes,” and the actual jokes themselves are very offensive. Stereotypical and and wrong. You should know better. Your friend should know better.

              1. It is very offensive. It has always been offensive. That is not how you describe it. It’s a fundamental thing. Its roots are from antisemitic behavior. It is not PC. That is you not understanding how Jewish people get talked to.

  1. “We have to pray for Robert because they will do anything to shut him up.”

What if … they (black hats) decide that the best defense is to act as if he has nothing worthy? IOW, they mutter some inane generalities if asked but otherwise feign ignorance of the subject matter.

He is left trying to convince TV pundits and/or the general public that his stuff is hot hot hot. How easy will that be if there’s nobody on the gladiator arena floor to challenge him?

Like giving a speech that falls on 10,000 ears. Of corn. It won’t be long before people are calling this his 15 minutes of fame.

For the record, I certainly hope he can back up what he says. What a joy that would be.

Sure hope he has an Arkancide / Epsteinocide protection plan.

I’m surprised all the different laser sights washing across his chest and forehead weren’t more visible on camera.

I’m sure the DOJ offers a fine protection policy for individuals in Mr. Byrne’s position, the problem is their track record is just about as terrible as it could possibly be. It really couldn’t be WORSE.

Oh, but I’m sure the Bureau of Prisons protection plan is MUCH better… 🙄

7 Helpful Hints for key witnesses and suspects charged for involvement with crimes having to do with Deep State/Political-class criminals:

    1) choose a protection plan that INCLUDES cameras in your cell AND covering the hallways leading TO your cell

    2) choose a protection plan that does NOT include a murderer for your cell mate…

    3) choose a protection plan that includes REAL prison guards (not Jenny, from the block…)

    4) choose a protection plan where REAL prison guards are AWAKE while on duty (this is critical, it turns out…)

    5) choose a protection plan where REAL prison guards, who are AWAKE, actually WATCH your cell, instead of, you know, doing other things…

    6) choose a protection plan that does NOT include cramming your cell full of obvious ‘means’ for offing yourself, things like bunk beds, genuine bed sheets, etc.

    7) choose a protection plan that does NOT fall under the auspices or supervision of the DOJ, FIB or BOP. Those three are non-starters, you might as well just kill yourself for real if you’re counting on any of those klowns…

And a corollary rule is: Don’t choose lawyers who allow you to be put in a position where rules 1-7 are being violated.

I know, I know… it seems like such a simple thing to protect a critical witness, but Jeffrey Epstein managed to violate EVERY SINGLE ONE of these 7 rules. AND the corollary.

So the moral of this story is, don’t be like Jeffrey Epstein.

For a really smart guy, he sure wasn’t very smart… or so the DOJ and BOP would have us believe….

As for Mr. Byrne, I predict Las Vegas will be taking bets on his survival on an hour-by-hour basis.

AS ALWAYS, Trump “supporters” are afraid.

Major Kuldip Singh Chandpuri would be embarrassed.

    Probably even disgusted.

    Thomas Wictor @ThomasWic
On the night of December 4, 1971, Major Chandpuri and 100 men were stationed behind a sand dune in Longewala, Indian.

They had rifles, eight machine guns, four 81mm mortars, one jeep, and one recoilless rifle.

    Thomas Wictor @ThomasWic
They were subjected to a heavy Pakistani artillery bombardment, and then they were attacked by an infantry battalion and SEVENTY main battle tanks.

Under artillery bombardment and in the dark, the Indians laid a minefield.

Then they waited until the Pakistanis were only 100 feet away.

    Thomas Wictor @ThomasWic
The Indians had several PIAT antitank-missile launchers.

From the their position on top of the sand dune, the Indians were able to hit the tanks on the TOP of the turret, where the armor is thinnest.

With their PIATS and the recoilless rifle, the Indians rapidly destroyed twelve main battle tanks.

They had also laid barbed wire to FOOL the Pakistanis into thinking there was a minefield in front of them.

    Thomas Wictor @ThomasWic
The Pakistanis stopped for two hours while engineers searched for mines.

Finding none, the Pakistanis then marched confidently into the REAL minefield.

Burning vehicles provided enough light for Major Chandpuri to direct Indian artillery fire.

    Thomas Wictor @ThomasWic
When the sun came up, the Indian air force showed up and began bombing.

By noon, the Pakistanis had called off the attack.

They’d lost over 100 vehicles, including half of their tanks.

    Thomas Wictor
    Let’s recap:

Just 100 Indian soldiers were able to defeat a massive armored assault by a full battalion.

They did the unexpected, they FOOLED the enemy, they improvised, and they REMAINED CALM.

I now know that it’s too much to expect that Trump “supporters” remain calm, but every time you lose your head, think of Major Chandpuri and his men.

    At least be ashamed.

Sometimes shame is good and necessary.

The reason red flag laws are so dangerous is because corrupt bureaucrats will get to decide which mental states are “normal”

    August 23, 2019
    by Vicki Batts, Natural News

Red flag laws are getting all kinds of praise in the media right now, heralded as the “middle ground.” Under these laws, concerned family members and police officers may petition a court to have an individual’s firearms taken away after they’ve been determined “dangerous.” While there may be some circumstances where removing potential weapons from the home is actually done for the right reasons, there are far too many ways for this system to be abused.

There are substantial concerns that these laws violate multiple constitutional rights, and that such power can (and will) be corrupted. It will not take long before any person who dares to speak out will be labeled a “danger” and have their Second Amendment rights stripped away.

  8. San Francisco Changes Term ‘Convicted Felons’ To More Politically Correct ‘Elected Officials’

    August 23, 2019
    from The Babylon Bee

SAN FRANCISCO, CA—In a move to make sure criminals are treated fairly, San Francisco has instituted a policy of referring to “convicted felons” by the much more politically correct term “elected officials.”

“These convicted felons are finding it harder to advance to higher political office when we keep bringing up their criminal activities,” said San Francisco Mayor London Breed. “We must ensure they get a fair shake at ruining even more people’s lives when they run for Congress, Senate, or the White House.”

The city released a guide with ways to refer to politicians’ activities in a more positive manner:

Stealing money is to be referred to as “taxation.”
Having an affair is to be referred to as “providing women opportunities for advancement.”
Taking a bribe is to be referred to as a “desirable exchange of money for principles.”
Starting a deadly war on false pretenses is to be referred to as an “environmental depopulation initiative.”
Kidnapping parents over truancy laws is to be called a “free parental vacation program.”

The Dow Jones Industrial Average traded 460 points lower, or 1.8%. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite slid 1.9% and 2.2%, respectively.

Trump tweeted on Friday: “Our great American companies are hereby ordered to immediately start looking for an alternative to China, including bringing..your companies HOME and making your products in the USA.”

  13. China to slap tariffs on $75 billion in US goods

    by Melissa Quinn | August 23, 2019 09:15 AM | Updated Aug 23, 2019, 09:34 AM

China plans to slap new tariffs on $75 billion worth of American products as retaliation against President Trump’s latest round of duties in the latest escalation of the trade war between Washington and Beijing.

The Chinese government said Friday it would impose additional tariffs of 5% and 10% on American goods, which will come Sept. 1 and Dec. 15. Beijing also plans to slap a 25% tariff on American automobiles and a 5% duty on auto parts, starting mid-December.

The levies from Beijing are set to be imposed on the same dates the president’s 10% tariffs on $300 billion in Chinese goods are scheduled to take effect.

Trump announced the new duties in early August, which effectively cover the remaining Chinese imports that had escaped tariffs and were scheduled to begin at the start of September. But the president delayed some of the levies until Dec. 15 in an effort to protect American consumers during the busy holiday shopping season and canceled others outright because of health, safety, and national security concerns.

The LGBT agenda is aggressively targeting children with an all-pervasive propaganda push, and a father wrote a terrifying testimonial in the USA Today about how his special needs daughter was exploited by these abusers.

“In April 2016, my then 14-year-old daughter became convinced that she was my son. In my attempt to help her, her public school undermined me every step of the way,” wrote Jay Keck about his special needs daughter who is on the autism spectrum.

“At her high school, my daughter was approached by a girl who had recently come out at school as transgender. Shortly after meeting her, my daughter declared that she, too, was a boy trapped in a girl’s body and picked out a new masculine name,” he added.

  18. Escalation in U.S.-China trade war threatens global economy, poses Trump reelection risk

    By Jeffry Bartash
    Published: Aug 23, 2019 1:25 p.m. ET

China targets soybeans, autos and other products in key swing states ahead of 2020 election

American cars, soybeans and oil are among thousands of products that China has targeted for additional tariffs, marking the latest volley in a widening trade war with the United States that has damaged the global economy and could pose a risk to President Trump’s reelection.

China on Friday said it would increase existing tariffs by 5% to 10% on more than 5,000 U.S. products in several stages starting in September. The value of these products is estimated by the Chinese Commerce Ministry to total around $75 billion.

The retaliatory move reflects the latest escalation in a trade dispute between the world’s two largest economies that began more than a year ago when the U.S. slapped tariffs on hundreds of billions of dollars of Chinese imports amid accusations of unfair trading practices. Trump contends China has been taking advantage of the U.S. for decades.

California’s authoritarian governor, Gavin Newsom, blamed the state of Texas for California’s homeless crisis. Rather than put the blame directly on the policies California has instituted that stifle free enterprise and punish heavily those who produce, Newsom said it’s the fault of Texas.

Newsom said many homeless people on the streets of San Francisco are from Texas. in an attempt to shift the blame from himself and the polices of socialists (who get rich peddling socialism to the masses as everyone else becomes impoverished.)

Former California assemblyman turned Texas resident Chuck DeVore reacted to Newsom pushing the blame onto others. The vice president of the Texas Public Policy Foundation, Chuck DeVore, said Wednesday that Gavin Newsom is “responsible for the policies that have created California’s homeless crisis,” in the wake of the governor blaming Texas for San Francisco’s homeless crisis. “What you’re seeing here are the words of a desperate man that we should almost feel sorry for,” DeVore, who served as a California assemblyman for six years, told “Fox & Friends.”
