Dear KMAG: 20190822 Open Topic

This HOT AUGUST [22] [PLACEHOLDER] THURSDAY open thread is VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA / KAG! / KMAG world (KMAG being a bit of both MAGA and KAG!).

Don’t mind if we do a little escape act here….

You can say what you want, comment on what other people said, and so on.

Free Speech is practiced here. ENJOY IT. Use it or lose it.

Keep it SOMEWHAT civil. They tried to FORCE fake Orwellian civility on us. In response, we CHOOSE true civility to defend our precious FREEDOM from THEM.

Our rules began with the civility of the Old Treehouse, later to become the Wolverinian Empire, and one might say that we have RESTORED THE OLD REPUBLIC – the early high-interaction model of the Treehouse – except of course that Q discussion is not only allowed but encouraged, and speech is considerably freer in other ways. Please feel free to argue and disagree with the board owner, as nicely as possible.

Please also consider the Important Guidelines, outlined here in the January 1st open thread. Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven.

SAY IT LOUD, AND SAY IT PROUD!

MR. PRESIDENT – I AM PRAYING FOR YOU!

AND WHAT TIME IS IT?

TIME TO….

DRAIN THE SWAMP

Our movement

Is about replacing

A failed

And CORRUPT

Political establishment

With a new government controlled

By you, the American People.

Candidate Donald J. Trump

Also remember Wheatie’s Rules:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

Let’s see if we can tell this story in James Coburn pictures. You ready?

Here we go!

August is going to be an interesting month.

Oh yeah? Just HOW interesting, we might ask.

Well, based on the LEAD-UP, I’d say we’re gonna see some enemy action.

OK. Should we be worried?

HA! You’re kidding – right?

Nope. We are gonna WIN this sucker.

Nevertheless, we have to be careful.

We have to be smart.

We have to be cool.

We definitely have to be wary.

Some of us may have to be a bit stealthy.

Some of us may simply be on vacation.

Others may not simply be on vacation.

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is jamescoburncafescene.jpg

We have to stay strong….

But we also have to have some fun!

Now in the periodic, random, unpredictable, and unexplained absences of GROWLING, SNARLING WOLVES….

There may be what seem like explosive situations….

However, we believe that higher powers….

And FAITH IN PEACE and IN OURSELVES….

Are all we need to WIN and WIN BIG in this GIFT of a lovingly designed universe.

So stick around for a GOOD TIME.

ENJOY THE SHOW!

Maybe have some POPCORN!

I mean – who KNOWS how much winning there will be?

We are gonna have ONE HECK OF A GOOD TIME!

Because…..

Where We Go One, We Go All.

      1. Having learned “The Art Of The Possible”, he’s going on his “Rainbow Tour”.

Or will he just be “Another Suitcase In Another Hall” ?

(cf “Evita”, the musical, from Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Tim Rice)…

Really, that musical captures the essence of the Modern Marxist/Communist Malthusian Misanthropes…

(And I think Mandy Patinkin as Che was the best, despite what the snowflakes/MCM say about him being difficult to work with… anyone who’s a Lionel Trains fan can’t be all bad…indeed, has to be cool)…

        1. My Mandy Patinkin story…
Several years ago I went to a matinee theater performance featuring Mandy Patinkin. It was in Palm. Beach, Fla. (aka Never Never Land), in a very small theater,. The matinees were primarily an excuse for the Uber- wealthy socialites to lunch at the private clubs, wear their latest couture outfits, etc. Never saw so many bad face lifts in my life!
In other words, the performance was the excuse, not the reason to be there and as an audience their inattention and rudeness were widely known. Often, the audience had to be implored to “respect” the performers as well as others in the audience.
The afternoon Mandy was the performer, he tolerated about 20 minutes of the audience, gave them a piece of his mind and walked off the stage.

          1. Yep. Those are the same folks who have 9-foot concert grands (Steinway, or Bösendorfer with the little door at the left of the keyboard which you open to get the rest of the octave) that cost more than my car (or both of them, for that matter), yet they keep the lid down, never play it, and stick a plant or two on it.

I could almost cry. How I’d love to have one of those pianos. And I’d actually play it.

To paraphrase an old saw, “Wealth is wasted on the rich”…

Mandy did a great performance of “Cats In The Cradle” (might have been a rehearsal, with “Japanese Sandman” as a warmup (range) )

    1. I just heard on The Lars Larson radio show in Portland that Oregon Governor Kate Brown (bisexual and married) just signed an executive order requiring all Oregon inmates be called “Adults in Custody”.

The word “Inmate” is now not to be used in all state agencies.

These people are complete fools yet they continue to be elected.

    2. What crime? There’s no crime.

      https://www.nationalreview.com/2018/01/californias-proposition-47-crime-and-no-consequences/

California’s Proposition 47 downgraded a variety of “non-serious, nonviolent crimes” that had previously been considered felonies to misdemeanors. These include shoplifting, grand theft, receiving stolen property, forgery, fraud, and writing bad checks. As long as the total value of the stolen property is under $950, only a ghost of an offense has occurred. A thief may now steal something under that limit on a daily basis and it will never rise to felony status.

“Every bicycle in our building has been stolen,” says Karen Burns, president of a San Francisco condo association. “I’ve caught so many people stealing packages. They don’t care. They know nothing will happen to them. It’s crazy. It’s horrible. I feel like these people need to go to jail.”

Proposition 47 didn’t stop with theft. The personal use of illegal drugs was also reclassified to a misdemeanor.
In San Fransisco, for example, shooting up in public is commonplace, whether it’s on the steps of City Hall, in front of a supermarket, or at the entrance to a children’s playground.

      1. Not only is that poem in the dedication part of my Masters Thesis, but also it’s one of my personal favorites and a fundamental principle that guides my decisions throughout my life.

Ask my kids about it and they will know the true meaning of this great poem.

One time recently, my wife and I went day hiking at a State park. We eventually found a quiet place in the woods and laid out our picnic blanket for lunch. Little did we know, but our adult daughter, who lived nearby, was trying to find us to join for lunch. With no cell coverage, she was just guessing which direction we had taken.

As she came bounding around the trees and plopped herself on our blanket, I asked how she found us.

“Dad, I took the paths less taken!”

        True story.

  2. Summer’s almost over. And with that, tonight is the last free outdoor concert being held tonight at The End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center and Museum park.

I’ll be there to see Johnny Limbo and The Lugnuts. They’ve been performing 50’s and 60’s Rock n Roll since 1978.
Obviously, they’re very good. They are always the last band to play each summer at the series.

Here’s an older video of them playing in Corvallis, Oregon.

  3. ANN ARBOR, MI – The Thomas More Law Center (TMLC), a national nonprofit public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, has uncovered evidence of a well-orchestrated Islamic propaganda campaign aimed at teachers in school systems throughout Michigan and several other states.

Concerned about a two-day mandatory teacher-training seminar on Islam conducted by a Muslim consultant hired by Michigan’s Novi Community Schools District, TMLC filed a Freedom of Information Act request for documents related to the workshop.

“We found that the teachers were subjected to two days of Islamic propaganda, where Islam was glorified, Christianity disparaged, and America bashed—all funded by Novi taxpayers.”

Moreover, during the past five years the school district has presented no teacher-training seminars focusing on Christianity, Judaism or any other religion – only Islam.

For the rest of the nauseating things “taught” at this mandatory indoctrination seminar~~

    1. To add a layer (or ten) of irony, the precursor to “Monopoly” WAS actually socialist… from a review on Amazon.com

Readers will be surprised to learn that Elizabeth J. Magie, a Quaker, created the original version of the game in 1904 (called “The Landlord’s Game”) and that it reflected her economic views, as its goal was to keep players out of the poor house, rather than to bankrupt them

The book reviewed here is great for fans of Monopoly, or New Jersey history. You’ll never look at the game the same way again (and you’ll probably win more often, too 🙂 )… I highly recommend it.

  5. Any thoughts on this site?

I did a search for the prison union boss standing with Hillary, to my surprise it was still out there. Chased it a bit and found more information and a closer in Union boss at the prison itself. Story making a loose allegation that both have new properties. One a $20 million luxury villa in Shanghai-China and the other a $6 million luxury apartment in Beijing-China.

Just like the Warmunistas, they’re quoting “statistics” that there are more and more forest fires, etc. etc. etc.

The problem is, where did they get their baseline? Satellite measurement is quite new, especially where non-military applications are concerned. And, if they’re following the CAGW “model”, they’re inventing data to fill the gaps.

Funny, too, how this problem almost instantly arose after the conservatives won in Brazil…

Who knows. Maybe Saint Greta, the Greenhearted will save them…

(Then again, all they need to do is have AlGoreTheClimateWhore go visit, and they’ll have blizzards and rain everywhere)… All hail breaking loose…

Ferguson Birth Village Offers Black Mothers A Safe Space, Trust And Support

Brittany “Tru” Kellman sometimes starts her day two hours before Jamaa Birth Village opens at 10 a.m., stashing diapers and snacks for the dozens of people who will come through the Ferguson nonprofit’s doors. She gives everyone a hug when she meets them.

Jamaa is different from other pregnancy clinics. It provides care for women of color by women of color. After traumatic experiences as a teen mom, Kellman was determined to create a better alternative for black women.

“Creating Jamaa Birth Village is a kind of a re-creation of the type of care and support I gave myself when the system failed me,” said Kellman, the center’s founder….

Through offering support and guidance, connecting women to midwifery care and building trust with providers, Jamaa aims to help foster healthy moms and babies.

After doctors ignored her wishes to give birth vaginally during her first two pregnancies, Kellman decided to use a midwife for her third. The experience transformed her. She decided to become one herself. She even went to Ghana to study traditional birthing techniques.

In 2015, Kellman opened Jamaa, which means “family” in Swahili.

Since then, the organization has helped more than 350 people. It connects women of color with doulas, who support women during pregnancy, and midwives, who often help give birth outside a hospital at home or in a birthing center. Jamaa offers doulas to patients on a sliding scale. The cost for patent varies, from $360 to $960.

Jamaa also offers chiropractic care, birthing, breastfeeding and parenting classes and support groups and discussion circles for new and expecting moms, their spouses and their families.

Patrick Byrne CEO of Overstock Corp. Resigns and Admits to Participating in FBI Political Surveillance

    https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2019/08/22/patrick-byrne-ceo-of-overstock-corp-resigns-and-admits-to-participating-in-fbi-political-surveillance/

    QUOTE:

“Byrne says in 2015 and 2016 the FBI operation was part of a network of political surveillance being conducted by the FBI on presidential candidates.

♦Byrne names FBI Agent Peter Strzok as the person giving the instructions.

♦Byrne claims there are additional witnesses.”

    1. [I earlier posted this on CTH, on the Byrne thread]

The more I think about the interview today, the more I resemble Suspicious Cat.

This Byrne interview/resignation/interview process could be what Sarah Carter calls by the military term “final defensive fire”, i.e. a Hail Mary play to get in front of the narrative by painting Killary as a victim of the Deep State. And, more than incident, to rehabilitate Buffet in the eyes of patriots.

They know from Solomons interview on Hannity this week that Declass of major FISAgate documents in coming soon, circa 1st few weeks of September.

I now suspect something will come out of Declass that is negative about the “Rabbi”, which I would then consider to be a partial confirmation of this theory.

An objection to this suspicious attitude is that Byrne would have been required to step down as CEO of Overstock to pull it off. But think– the bad guys were trying to get DJT to not be CEO of the United States. For that, in principle, they could face being tried for treason. Making a corporate CEO resign is child’s play compared to that. Or Byrne could have wanted to step down anyway, for unrelated reasons.

The way Byrne’s 1st interview was supposed to be about his cryptocurrency product launch, and he highjacked his own segment to bring up his role in Russia, and the way he did a 4 or 5 stage “teaser rollout” of Warren Buffet today, which was only tangential to the topic at hand, make me suspect we are being played somehow by Byrne, or by whomever is behind him.

      1. Excellent post and observation!

Both Buffet and Byrne are democrats. And note he emphasizes Clinton’s campaign was spied on, and he emphasized that repeatedly….and when he mentions Rubio, Cruz, and Trump it is almost like an after-thought….

…the “narrative set up” being that Clinton was as much a victim as POTUS, when we know for a fact the Clinton campaign was deeply involved as a participant.

Yes……Suspicious Cat is on high alert with this guy.

This freak is a leftist through-n-through.

Interesting how he praises Barr but calls Sessions a “banana”, too.

But on the other side from Suspicious Cat is that other sometimes inconvenient feline, Devil’s AdvoCat !

This could all be scripted, like a movie, to draw in normies for the Big Redpill. Kind of like the searchs of Epstein’s pedophile island the day after he died, weeks after the searchs there after his arrest.

        1. Something seems off about Byrne. I noticed the emphasis on Hillary too, as if we’re to believe that brand-new evidence will come out that challenges everything we’ve been led to believe. What would that be — that Russia was spying on everyone, including Hillary? If that’s what they’re cooking up, they are more desperate than I thought. Also, anyone who comes forward like this immediately puts themselves in danger. Does Byrne know he’s not in danger because he’s doing the bidding of the Deep State, Hillary, et al.?
