News Roundup! Our President Is Amazing, Possible Meeting With Chairman Kim, Meeting With Xi, G20 Press Conference, Record Setting June (Stock Market), Mini AOC, Judicial Armada, Gorsuch & Kavanaugh, Mexico’s Actions At the Border…..

There will never be another PDJT in the history of this country! What he did with that tweet inviting Chairman Kim to the DMZ to shake hands was absolutely brilliant. No politician in his or her right mind would ever consider something like that. They don’t have that ability because everything is scripted for them.

During his bilateral meeting with Prince Mohammed bin Salman, our President discussed the possibility of meeting with Chairman Kim.

From the transcript linked above:

Q: Mr. President, will you meet with Kim Jong Un tomorrow at the DMZ?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: Well, I put a — I’ll be going to South Korea. We’re going with President Moon. We were with the President in Japan for a little while, and we spoke. And all I did is put out a feeler if he’d like to meet.

He sent me a very beautiful birthday card. And I just — what I did is — and he — I guess he got my return letter, because it’s in the newspaper. It’s him reading the return letter.

But I just put out — I just thought of it this morning. We’ll be at the area. We may go to the DMZ, or the border, as they call it. That, by the way, when you talk about a wall, when you talk about a border, that’s what they call a border. Nobody goes through that border. Just about nobody. That’s called a real border.

But we’re going there. We’re going to look at it, be — as really a point of interest. We have some very big meetings with President Moon. We are going to be seeing our soldiers. As you know, we have 42,000 troops over in South Korea. And we’re going to be seeing our soldiers. I’ll be making a speech to our soldiers. They’re incredible. They’re really incredible.

And the base, which was built by South Korea for us, is a 10-billion-dollar base. And it’s the latest and the greatest. It’s something special.

So we’re going to the base. We’ll be doing — I mean, many of you will be coming with me, so I don’t have to go through it too much, and most of you know the schedule better than anybody. You know every inch of that schedule. I know you well. So, we’ll be there.

And I just put out a feeler, because I don’t know where he is right now; he may not be in North Korea. But I said, if Chairman Kim would want to meet, I’ll be at the border. Certainly, we seem to get along very well, I can tell you. We seem to get along. That’s a good thing, not a bad thing.

You know, for the stupid people that say, “Oh, he gets along” — no, it’s good to get along. It’s good to get along. Because, frankly, if I didn’t become President, you’d be right now in a war with North Korea. You’d be having a war right now with North Korea. And, by the way, that’s a certainty. That’s not like maybe.

And instead of that, and instead of nuclear weapons being tested every day, and instead of ballistic missiles and all of the things, we got our prisoners back, our hostages; they’re back — safely back. And we’re very happy about that. We’re very happy about the remains having come back. And they’re bringing back — in fact, we were notified they have additional remains of our great heroes from many years ago. And, if you remember, they were brought into Hawaii. Mike Pence, Vice President, was there.

And most importantly, they have not done any nuclear tests. They haven’t done any large-scale ballistic missile tests. So a lot of good things have happened since the days of “we’re in Japan.” And I can tell you every — it seemed every week somebody was calling me to say, “Missiles are being shot over Japan.”

And maybe the happiest of what we’ve done are the Japanese people and our great Prime Minister Abe. He’s a great Prime Minster, the Prime Minister of Japan. He’s very happy with what we’ve done.

So, I’m in no rush whatsoever. But I was in South — I will be in South Korea. I let him know, and we’ll see. If he’s there, we’ll see each other for two minutes. That’s all we can. But that will be fine. And some of you will be there.

Our President also had his much anticipated meeting with President Xi of China.

From the transcript linked above:

PRESIDENT XI: (As interpreted.) Mr. President, let me make a few opening remarks.

It’s my great pleasure, Mr. President, to meet you in Osaka. Forty-eight years ago, in 1971, in a place called Nagoya, just over 100 kilometers from here, Chinese and American ping-pong players participating in the 31st World Table Tennis Championships had friendly interactions with each other. And that marked the beginning of what we now call “Ping Pong Diplomacy.” The small ball played a big role in moving world events. And then, eight years later, in 1979, our two countries established diplomatic relations, 40 years ago.

Forty years on, enormous change has taken place in the international situation and U.S.-China relations. But one basic fact remains unchanged: China and the United States both benefit from cooperation, and lose in a confrontation. Cooperation and dialogue are better than friction and confrontation.

Recently, Mr. President, you and I have stayed in close communication through phone calls and exchange of letters. Today, I’m prepared to exchange views with you on the fundamental issues concerning the growth of China-U.S. relations so as to set the direction for our relationship in the period to come and to advance the China-U.S. relationship based on coordination, cooperation, and stability.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: Thank you very much, Mr. President. We have had a lot of time together, and we’ve become friends. My trip to Beijing with my family was one of the most incredible of my life. I’ve seen a culture that rarely would you see. Chinese culture is an incredible culture.

I look forward to working with you. As you know, we’ve had a excellent relationship, but we want to do something that will even it up with respect to trade. I think it’s something that’s actually very easy to do.

I actually think that we were very close, and then we — something happened where it slipped a little bit, and now we’re getting a little bit closer. But it would be historic if we could do a fair trade deal. We’re totally open to it, and I know you’re totally open to it. I know all of your representatives have been working very hard with my representatives and the representatives of the United States.

And I will say that I think this can be a very productive meeting, and I think we can go on to do something that truly will be monumental and great for both countries, and that’s what I look forward to doing.
And thank you very much hosting us. We appreciate it. Thank you.

PRESIDENT XI: (As interpreted.) Thank you.

Q Mr. President, are you prepared to (inaudible) from Huawei — to end (inaudible)?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: Thank you very much everybody. Thank you.

Q Mr. President, how close are you to getting a deal?

Here is an additional video of the meeting.

From the article linked above:

  • Trump and Xi held their highly anticipated bilateral meeting at the G-20 summit in Japan.
  • The two leaders agreed to hold off on new tariffs and to proceed with trade negotiations after a series of escalations to their nations’ tariff battle threatened to disrupt the global economy.
  • Trump suggested he will be reversing his government’s decision to ban American companies from selling products to Chinese tech giant Huawei.

On the subject of Huawei, the Chinese telecommunications behemoth that Washington has described as a security risk to the U.S. and allies, Trump suggested he will be reversing his government’s decision to ban American companies from selling products to the tech giant. Still, Trump said the issue of Huawei will be resolved only at the conclusion of the negotiations.

“We mentioned Huawei. I said we’ll have to save that until the very end,” Trump said during a post-summit news conference. “One of the things I will allow, however, is — a lot of people are surprised we send and we sell to Huawei a tremendous amount of product that goes into a lot of the various things that they make — and I said that that’s OK, that we will keep selling that product.”

Trump added that he would allow sales to the company where there is not a national security problem, and there will be a U.S. meeting to more fully discuss the plan regarding Huawei.

Our President concluded the G20 with a press conference. Well worth your time to listen to it.

Our President has arrived in South Korea.

The Economic Train does her magic once again.

From the article linked above:

  • The Dow Jones Industrial Average rallied 7.2% this month, notching its best June performance since 1938.
  • The S&P 500 posted its best first half of a year since 1997, soaring 17.3% and reaching an all-time high.
  • Semiconductor ETF (SMH) notched biggest one-month gain since September 2010.
  • Gold surged more than 7% in June, its biggest gain since June 2016.

Mini AOC’s latest video.

When you see data presented like this, you realize how amazing our President’s Judicial Armada really is compared to his predecessors.

Great article that shows how terrific these two men have been as Supreme Court Justices.

From the article linked above:

President Donald Trump’s two Supreme Court nominees — serving their first term together — did their part this week to showcase their conservative judicial philosophy and deliver on Trump’s vow to reshape the judiciary and turn the court to the right.

Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch voted with the conservative flank on the bench in two of the most politically charged cases of the term: partisan gerrymandering and whether the 2020 census can include a question about citizenship.

For the most part, the two men, who attended the same high school and clerked for the same justice, cast consistent conservative votes. They also foreshadowed the future in some of their concurrences and dissents and votes to grant cases for the next term. Any lingering doubts about their conservative bona fides, with few exceptions, were wiped away this term.

Mexico has really started to deliver at the Border.

From the article linked above:

The Department of Homeland Security projects that arrests of migrants along the southern border will fall 25 percent this month, a drop that authorities attribute to a Mexican crackdown on Central American migrants and the expansion of an experimental Trump administration program that requires asylum seekers to wait outside U.S. territory for their immigration court hearings.

Winning is so much fun under PDJT!

    1. Not sure if he was ‘owned’ – just think he was too stupid to know when he was being used to advance Putin’s objectives – perhaps – that is what being ‘owned’ means – and I do not think Putin likes ‘girly’ men, either!

      1. He wanted the accolades and appearances. Not intellectually or gutsy enough to hammer out the deals but happy to swan around getting unearned accolades. Pageant queen. This Potus operates on New York ruthless business terms. Now THAT is a shark pool. Very ,very Darwinian. A lifetime of training in the most cutthroat environment. Sorta game of thrones meets hunger games

      2. Or maybe he’s a Kenyan with zero loyalty to our country, who in fact hates America, and purposely sold us out to everyone, because that was his part to play in bringing about the globalists’ ‘new world order’.

Stupid or not, Hussein and ALL of his lackeys are evil, wicked people who did everything in their power to destroy our nation.

And we need to remember that, at their sentencings.

The jury better remember it, too.

I drove 2500 miles from NC to NV in 4 days. Then it took a while to get my computer set up. My smart phone does not work well on this site. I have been reading articles and comments but could not reply.

      3. Russia was very smart in managing its old assets. VERY smart.

Putin acts LOGICALLY. See it from his viewpoint, and it all makes sense.

Liking Obama and liking Obama are two different things! 😉

          1. For people to begin to appreciate the many levels of Democrat deception , duplicity, dumbness, and desperation in their relationship with Russia, THIS little nugget is very instructive.

As Trump says – complicated business. Trump’s tweets about the Dems and Russia are loaded with “correct-think” masquerading as “plain old common sense. I just love to read his thoughts on the stuff. Only Trump has a mind to match Putin. These Dems were TOYS to him.

            1. Good Grief – these jerks thought they could get away with anything – we have yet to find out what Biden and others did in the Ukraine – remember Georgia – whatever happened there – was not good

They stupidly kicked the Russian Bear thinking he would not kick back – the level of ignorance astounds me –

And people think PT is the ignorant one – little do they know how really astute he is!

Thanks for the article – Kerry is an idiot!

  2. That little move was so slick. I refer to his tweet (a f’ing tweet!) saying that he’ll be in the Li’l Kim neighborhood.

Nobody saw that coming. It’s just one more feather in his ‘winning’ peacock tail. By the time his WH stint ends, there might not be much more to do. (Yeah, that’s wishful thinking but it sounds good)

    1. That exchange might have appeared to be ‘off the cuff’, p, but I think he planned to meet with Kim – referring to the ‘letter’ he sent to him – so I do not think this was happenstance at all – but hey – that is just me!

      1. Potus may appear spontaneous and he can change his plans on a dime because he always has option b and c and d etc factored in but he always has a plan. He can also seize opportunities quickly and has a well honed bait detection eye. If he was a fish he’d always be the one who got away.

        Liked by 7 people

        1. Maybe, ozzy – yes, he can and does – but, in this case – I think this was planned well in advance – due to China meeting – not sure how far they got – but, Kim is part of it as much as Huawei is – touchy!

          1. It was always a possible scenario, depending on the state of play. Potus is dynamic with a lot of irons in the fire. Ultimate goal but many pathways.
He he Xi looks like a deer in the spotlight in photo.
Potus has him looking at abyss both domestically and internationally with just a tightrope.
And then told him he’ll let him know when he’ll be required to skip

      2. I know it was planned. Secret Service would freak out otherwise. But it was a slick idea AND it trolled the media (Li’l Kim noticed that it trolled the media also). All and all, a very smooth operation. VSGDJT!

That said, if Kim journeys to DMZ and meets with President Trump, would like to see Chairman Kim on the South side and President Trump at least briefly on the North side.

Hugely symbolic and great photo op.

  7. DJT on Kim: “And I just put out a feeler, because I don’t know where he is right now;”

POTUS does this all the time.

People who have not spent enough time watching DJT (and/or people who oppose him) will say “He’s lying! The C_A knows exactly where Kim Jong-Un is!”

Maybe the C_A does, and maybe they don’t, but it’s not like the C_A can be trusted any more than the FIB can be trusted, and watching how incredibly blunt and direct DJT is, I have no doubt he tells Gina Haspel and Chris “Where am I” Wray on a regular basis.

As a matter of honesty and national security, the undeniable corruption of the C_A and FIB necessitates a ‘trust but verify’ approach to anything they say, and unlike most people, I’m positive DJT is very forthright about that.

But even if the C_A did know where Kim was, that doesn’t mean DJT has had an update in the last 20 minutes, so technically, DJT does not ‘know where he is right now‘.

Critics will call that “lying” by another name, or semantics, but “lying” implies a malicious purpose, and I don’t ever get the impression his purpose is malicious.

I always get the sense that he is constantly, as a matter of long habit, creating “options” for himself, without painting himself into a corner. He is very careful about making declarative statements. Everything else he leaves lots of wiggle room.

But it’s not with the purpose to deceive (which would by ‘lying’ in the classical or normal sense), it is very clearly (it seems to me) with the intent of creating ‘space’ to maneuver and to negotiate, to avoid locking himself into any path that has no detours or exits.

So if you understand what he is doing and why, it comes across entirely different than if you are predisposed to play ‘gotcha!’ and ‘catch’ him saying something that on its face would seem to be unlikely or untrue, depending on context or one’s perspective.

His opponents can’t actually ‘see’ what he’s doing, because they’re always squinting myopically for the ‘gotcha!’ instead of pulling back far enough to see the complete picture.

That’s why they always get it wrong.

They can’t ‘see’ because they won’t ‘look’ with open ‘eyes’.

They don’t have ‘eyes’ to ‘see’.

    Or ‘ears’ to ‘hear’.

    1. IMO there is malice there. He’s everything you said above but he’s tormenting the msm and his opponents. Always throwing in a left hook or something to fuck with their heads. IMO they go to bed fretting about what he’s really up to. He goes to bed a happy vsg

      Liked by 5 people

      1. I agree that he tweaks them and trolls them at nearly every opportunity, I think it’s part of his strategy to force them to cover whatever it is he wants to talk about at any given moment.

But it’s far different than Hussein who would look straight into the camera and lie through his jackal teeth about serious matters affecting everyone in our nation.

        About anything and everything.

“You can keep your doctor” being just one of hundreds.

He knew that was a bald-faced lie, the entire plan was revealed on video by Johnathan Gruber, congratulating himself and the Hussein administration for deceiving the American people. 😡

He packed a lot of things in there. Here’s one that really stood out for sure.

Will this throw the politicos on the left and the right into a tizzy because he just said in many more words than above, that the dems are failing to meet his 5 July dead line and the deal just passed has nothing to do with his dead line.
