News Roundup! #Basta, PM Netanyahu, Stanley Cup Champions, 9th Circuit Nominee & Poll…..

Our President had a jammed packed day today. He first started by hosting PM Netanyahu of Israel.

Included with this visit was an executive proclamation supporting Israel’s right to stable government over the Golan Heights.

Following the bilateral meeting, the two leaders held a short press availability in the Oval Office.

From the link above:

Oval Office- 12:23 P.M. EDT – PRESIDENT TRUMP: Well, thank you very much. It’s an honor to have Prime Minister Netanyahu in the Oval Office. We’ve had numerous great meetings, and we talk usually about trade and military and lots of things.

But today, I think we’re talking about — more than anything else, we’re celebrating the Golan Heights. It’s something that I’ve been hearing about for many years, from many people. I’ve been studying for years.

And this should have been done, I would say, numerous Presidents ago. But for some reason, they didn’t do it, and I’m very honored to have done it.

So I just want to say, Bibi, it’s an honor to have you at the Oval Office. Thank you.

PRIME MINISTER NETANYAHU: Thank you. May I say that I’ve been here many, many, many times. I’ve been around.

PRIME MINISTER NETANYAHU: And I’ve met many friends of Israel in this office. But as I said in the other room, just now, in a day of history, we have never had a greater friend than President Trump.

And I think there is a unique bond between our countries, between our administrations, between the two of us. There has been no greater bond than that. It serves the interests of Israel in ways that I cannot begin to describe because not everything that the President and I talk about can be shared with the public.

And I think that, in many ways, the President knows and the United States knows that America has no better friend than Israel. We are willing to fight for our common values. We’re willing to fight. You have an ally that is willing to take up arms in defense of liberty, in defense of our land, our people, and our common values.

We admire America, and we’re grateful to you. Thank you, Mr. President.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: Thank you very much.

Q Mr. President, so did this turn out to not be a witch hunt after all? Do you think Robert Mueller did a fair investigation?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: It’s lasted a long time. We’re glad it’s over. It’s 100 percent the way it should have been. I wish it could have gone a lot sooner, a lot quicker. There are a lot of people out there that have done some very, very evil things, very bad things. I would say treasonous things against our country.

And hopefully people that have done such harm to our country — we’ve gone through a period of really bad things happening — those people will certainly be looked at. I have been looking at them for a long time. And I’m saying, “Why haven’t they been looked at?” They lied to Congress. Many of them — you know who they are — they’ve done so many evil things.

I will tell you, I love this country. I love this country as much as I can love anything: my family, my country, my God. But what they did, it was a false narrative. It was — it was a terrible thing.

We can never let this happen to another President again. I can tell you that. I say it very strongly. Very few people I know could have handled it. We can never, ever let this happen to another President again.

Thank you all very much. I appreciate it. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Thank you very much.

Q Do you want the report to be completely released?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: Up the Attorney General, but it wouldn’t bother me at all. Up to the Attorney General. Wouldn’t bother me at all.

Q Any news on pardons? Are you thinking about pardoning anyone, sir?

PRESIDENT TRUMP: No, I haven’t. I haven’t thought about it.

He also hosted the Stanley Cup Champions, Washington Capitals.

In other news, the Southern District of New York (SDNY) announced criminal charges against the Creepy Porn Lawyer and CNN favorite, Michael Avenatti for attempting to extract more than $20 million in payments from Nike Corp, by threatening to use his ability to garner publicity to inflict substantial financial and reputational harm on the company if his demands were not met.

The SDNY counts against Avenatti include conspiracy to transmit interstate communications with intent to extort, conspiracy to commit extortion and more.

Shortly afterwards U.S. attorney’s office in Los Angeles alleged in a separate criminal complaint that Michael Avenatti embezzled a client’s money to pay his own expenses and cover debts—including for his law firm and coffee business—and defrauded a bank using phony tax returns.

He faces up to 50 years in prison if convicted in New York and Los Angeles.

Don Jr. had a blast destroying Avenatti on Twitter today. He tweeted and retweeted the following:

My favorite:

Tomorrow another nominee will be confirmed onto the 9th Circuit!

Two additional 9th Circuit nominees as well as a three Texas District Court nominees and two US Marshal nominees will be moving out of the Judiciary Committee next week and onto the Senate floor the week after for confirmation.

Democrats, RINOs, MSM, CoC etc. are in serious trouble based on the results of a poll (Hill-HarrisX) put out before the Mueller report was shared with the general public.

What an absolutely incredible day! Winning, Winning and some more Winning.

  3. Our President is going to meet with Republicans tomorrow to tell them it is time to approve the USMCA or else he will terminate NAFTA.

Run them through a gauntlet of cat-o-nine tails and cattle prods – whatever it takes!

Do what you have to do to move them in the right direction.

    2. Thing is…I wouldn’t mind if they didn’t pass it and Potus just terminates NAFTA.

Pres Trump has basically said the same thing too.
He said we would just go back to the way things were “Pre NAFTA”.

So it’s kind of a win-win position for our VSG.

  4. Winning too much? Not even close.

Tomorrow is my birthday. I had no idea I’d get a present from POTUS.

Thank you very much, President Trump and our Heavenly Father, for your generosity. What a team you two are.

  5. This has been the best day I’ve had since Nov. 9, 2016.

I am so happy, relieved, vindicated, fired-up, and excited I could pop!

This must be what it was like to realize the British were defeated and there was a new, actually free country to live in!

  6. Dershowitz on Shannon Bream show just said ther should be no more investigations. He repeated what Durbin said – we [senate] need to be dealing with the people’s interests.

Translation: we tried and it didn’t work. no harm no foul.

We need to start building gallows. And nobody on this site should say wonderful things about Dersh any longer. Or I’ll snap at their heels until I draw blood. /s

But I will be pissed. [no /s]

    1. Yep, I saw that.

Dersh was finally playing his hand…he’s been playing the long con for the past year, and he finally showed his cards.
      Which is ‘Protect the Dems’.

I didn’t like his little remark about “tit for tat”…implying that any investigations or prosecutions of the traitorous coup-plotters was going to be done as ‘payback’.

That’s the narrative that the Dems and their media nozzles are going to be spewing.
      They have no shame.

      DECLAS cannot come soon enough!
That is what will blow all their false narratives out of the water.

I never did. Dershowitz is Leftist scum.

Whatever con he’s been playing for the last year, it fooled me exactly zero percent.

      Off with their heads.

      All of them.

    1. Hannity was breathless…talked nonstop for the first 34 minutes with no commercials!

My hubby and I kept saying “Breathe, Sean! Take a breath.”

      He was good though.
Laid it out for the normies real well.

    2. He was pretty hot under the collar.

What I recall most clearly about his show was the recurring theme of we are owed a whole lot of justice for what this country has been put through for the last few years and for nothing and we all knew it was nothing.

He named a lot of complicit actors in the Russia Hoax and is promising to hammer away at every one of them until justice is done. I’m pretty sure this is the message we were to receive.

      He has good sources. *Wink*

    3. It was pretty awesome. Gotta say.
It was a 33 minute rant with no breaks.
I’m sure a video will be released.

  7. Going with my breadcrumb theory regarding POTUS and clues, I’d say that this statement:

“those people will certainly be looked at. I have been looking at them for a long time. And I’m saying, “Why haven’t they been looked at?”

Likely means that POTUS has already had HIS DOJ people looking at them “for a long time” – and when he asked the question “why haven’t they been looked at?”

Well, he never asks a question he doesn’t already know the answer to. He’s just teasing the miscreants at this point, letting them sweat.

      1. It’s more than hope, Scott, though I understand your thoughts. I believe POTUS has known almost everything since the beginning. His “people” haven’t been sitting on the sidelines doing nothing why Mueller was doing his thing. As president, he is responsible for enforcement of laws in this country – it’s his DOJ – all those people, who have “done very bad things” – that’s not out of thin air, that’s an indicator that the only way they know these “very bad things” it’s because they’ve been investigated…

        Liked by 6 people

        1. I agree.

I feel like he has told us every way he possibly can the last couple of days that this is not going to be tolerated. He is going to get justice for all of us. It has to be. We can’t ignore this.

          Liked by 4 people

          1. In fact, Syliva, rereading the “very bad things” it set off a lightbulb moment! While he likely knew most of the players at the beginning, he wouldn’t have known the seriousness and content of “very bad things” – those are details that only come when investigating is being done.

As I noted, he didn’t sit idly by, wringing his hands in helplessness while Mueller did his “witch hunt” for 2 1/2 years.

And his saying it shouldn’t happen to another president? IMO, that means they’re going down. None of this “let’s move on” – that’s what people say who are afraid of the Big Reveal.

  8. Mini-victory for safety, transparency, and maybe even censorship on social media.

As I’ve mentioned, I admin for several Trump FB groups. One is huge, 50K+, and several are smaller, from 2-10K.
Then, FB approached me, personally, and asked me to join a group of “Super-Admins” for feedback and new rollouts. Some touchy-feely VP and her group are in charge and publish stuff all the time, which is helpful, but it is real people with real and sometimes intricate responses…., which is good.
Of course, I trust FB as much as I would trust Maxine Waters holding my wallet. Yet, I agreed to join. Can’t complain if we are not at the table, right?
There are about 120 super admins in the group.

I put forth the idea of allowing the admins to identify ‘country of origin’ for new membership requests and existing members. You see, I took over the admin slot for the big group, from a friend whose husband was dying of Alzheimer’s. When I became involved, I could see a membership detail section which broke down the data (country of origin) of all members. When I first arrived, we had 800+ Nigerians in a 20K group. It took hundreds of hours to weed out the Nigerians/Macedonians, etc.
With cleaner membership and better content, the group blossomed quickly to over 50K.
BUT, the fact that FB actually COULD identify country of origin, meant the internal data analytics were already easily available.

I proposed the idea to FB, along with the following sales pitch:
If FB ‘announced’ a new ‘country of origin’ designation, which came from FB, it would help stop fraud, like the Nigerian who scammed $3K from my Aunt Helen, or lonely men talking to Eastern Bloc women, or sexual predators.
It would also help admins in honorable, well-meaning groups, or individual profile holders, identify those who might be “foreigners attempting to influence an election”. It would make FB APPEAR proactive, while leaving the actual control to the individual admin or profile holder….
…. which would mean no additional employees or cost to FB.

I mentioned that it would be easy, since the internal analytics, obviously, already exist. I mentioned it would be the kind of move, from FB, which could potentially assuage SOME concerns from users about safety and transparency.
AND it would allow users more control.
ALSO – with additional targeting software, it would help FB, potentially, to quickly identify when 1500 accounts suddenly appear from a single IP address in Sierra Leone, allowing FB to shut down a troll farm quickly.
I sold it as a ‘win-win’ for everyone.

Got a response from FB, from one of the VP’s support team, “good idea, Daughn…. blah, blah, blah”, long story short, the idea has been kicked upstairs. And I’ve been asked to join another small internal team of super-admins. Maybe…… a positive? We’ll see what happens.

Hey, Facebook is a behemoth. We all know it. Yet, we have to start somewhere.

    1. Who can replace you when Trump finally finds out about you? I only ask because that guy has a habit of paying good people more than the going rate just to make sure they aren’t hunting for greener pastures.

Which means you might not be able to refuse an offer from the Big Guy. So what will become of us? 🙂

It will probably go nowhere, but I am trying!.

        1. Kind words. ThanQ.

Just for the record, flattery is never real truth. It has real truth in it but it always has (shall we say) excess adjectives and whipped cream. I wasn’t flattering you; I meant every word, exactly.

          1. Pgroup, I came back to look at your comment and admit, I’m a little confused.
I appreciated your time to comment, sincerely. Thank You.
No intention to go anywhere. I love it here. Learn something new from you guys every day. I wasn’t trying to show off, or steal thunder either. I was trying to communicate, maybe, there is a little bit of a crack in the dam at Facebook. We might be getting through but we will wait for results to come in.
            Does that make sense?
