      1. She doesn’t want the public to see what she and the Dems are really like and what they really think. She was very uncomfortable because it ruins the Dems’ projected image. More transparency, please! More situations where the media has to show the video instead of just reporting what they want.

      1. It seems to me that Pence is OUTED.

Back in ’80, Reagan may not have SEEN the traitor GHWB, though the latter “saw” the former. GHWB was INSTALLED, on purpose, as a cabal snake. The a**a**ination attempt was ALL Bushie, methinks. To ascend to power. A thousand points of BULLSH**.

VSGPDJT sees everything, and will NOT fall for the same tactic.

Pence is from Indiana. Without concrete, citable evidence (though it likely exists), I STILL believe that this state is a HUB of child trafficking.

Pence is a bit too “holier than thou”, if you get my drift.

PDJT doesn’t have that “bad vibe”, at all, IMO.

As far as 2020 goes, Pence is DOA.

        1. And if you happened to see the pictures of the odd (and very not protocol) envelopes at GHWB’s funeral, there are pictures indicating that Her Hillariness, Mrs Biden and Mrs Pence got one. (W got some sort of message too, but it seems to have been delivered by a different mechanism.) Very strange that they appear to have been delivered to wives, and stranger still that Pence’s wife was on the distribution list.

        2. I like Mike Pence – he has stood strong and firm with the President and ALL the America First policies.

He can think on his feet and doesn’t budge a micro-millimeter from Trump’s policies.

Pence has not uttered one disloyal syllable. Not one.

Pence was a stellar MAGA recruitment!

          1. Mike Pence is not holier-than-thou – but he is a man of integrity and not ashamed of his Christian values.

I love the way he has not groveled nor apologized for his conservative positions.

          2. Thanks GA/FL. Agree that Mr. Pence has faithfully executed the duties of his office.
Jumping to conclusions should be an Olympic sport.
So the Vice president looks a little stiff.
            Maybe he has gas.

        3. that other vice president from indiana was an interesting guy too… have not thought about mr james danforth quayle in a while!

      2. I have no idea, of course, but maybe Pres. Trump doesn’t want Pence to say anything in situations like that. As the VP, Pence is the president of the Senate and the tie-breaking vote. He needs to know what’s going on.

        1. Pence is one of the most beautiful parts of the equation, and why VSGPOTUS chose him. The other side has a trick called “play an innocent person into a guilty situation where there is no graceful or believable exit”. The other side thinks that it can play Pence into their various schemes, including that one. The ambiguity of the situation TEMPTS them. VSGPOTUS knows this, and knew it from the beginning. Trump acted knowing MORE information than the other side, but THEY think THEY know more.

It’s very tricky. But I trust Pence, because I trust Trump, and I trust Trump, because I trust God. But along that path, there is MUCH complication. INFINITE POPCORN.

            1. NOPE – Trump made a special trip to Indiana to recruit Pence after he heard Pence ‘try’ to endorse Ted Cruz, but ended up endorsing Trump instead!

It was right comical how positive he was toward Trump in that speech. I bet DJT’s ears perked up and he laughed out loud when he heard it. Not long afterward, he went to see Mike Pence. It was so cool.

      3. His body language is very consistent over time. Very structured and almost over controlled for public consumption. US Marine type control. A complete contrast to the with which our VSG Lion holds himself. It’s not as personable, but I don’t automatically see something nefarious in it. If we were in his shoes how would we handle knowing that the opposition wants you dead a.s.a.p.?

          1. Pence is key. Both sides think they can control him. But Trump protects him. Trump sees more deeply into things than anybody. I still only speculate about things that I’m sure Trump understands.

I remain an enthusiastic Pence supporter! Yet I see why people who are wary of him ARE wary of him.

This is not a game. Although, sometimes, it seems that way.

  1. I posted 2582 upthread a bit, and had to laugh at the anon. Yeah…out here in Flyover country where BIG, WIDE backbone rivers have a mind of their own, the Army Corps of Engineers has kept them at bay. Levees and flood WALLS (the one in STL on the Mississippi is 22 feet high and eleven miles long) are pretty much how it is done. If 500 year floods with an unbelievable amount of water in the channels can be managed, they can build a wall on the border.

    Wow what a show!

President Trump on Tuesday engaged in an extraordinary argument with Democratic congressional leaders over his demand for border-wall funding, threatening a government shutdown if he does not get the money.

“I will be the one to shut it down,” he told House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) at the White House.

During the contentious meeting in the Oval Office, Pelosi (D-Calif.) repeatedly asked Trump not to discuss the funding request in front of the news media.

“You will not win,” Pelosi told Trump.

The meeting was scheduled to be closed to the press but the White House unexpectedly opened it to reporters just as Pelosi and Schumer were arriving at the White House.

The exchanged heightened the sense of drama surrounding government-funding stalemate between Trump and Democrats.📁

“You will not win?” – Pelosi
You didn’t think the largest MIL spending bill in history (FY 2019) wasn’t going to [indirectly] include funding for the wall did you?
Learn the Constitution re: vested powers of POTUS re: matters of NAT SEC.
This was planned and forecasted as the ‘border funding’ solution from the beginning.

Anons had the proof long ago but shining a light back then would have defeated the primary purpose of showing the ‘public’ the real objective of D’s (party of open borders/elim of ICE/elim of security/defend illegals over Americans _Midterm_elec).
    These people are stupid.

  2. Score one for Project Veritas:

Federal judge rules Mass. law prohibiting secret audio recording of police, government officials is unconstitutional

Chief United States District Judge Patti B. Saris made the ruling on two similar cases — one involving two Jamaica Plain residents who frequently record police officers and a second case involving Project Veritas, the undercover organization founded by conservative political activist James O’Keefe.

Both cases involved defendants who had not secretly recorded police but claimed that the Suffolk District Attorney’s office and the Boston Police Department were interpreting state law in such a way that was preventing them from doing so without the risk of legal repercussions.

Project Veritas argued it was being prevented from conducting the secret video recordings that are the bread and butter of its video reports here in Massachusetts due to the state’s interpretation of the law, which would make such recordings illegal.

The defendants in the cases are Suffolk District Attorney Daniel Conley and Boston Police Commissioner William Gross.

In the 44-page decision Saris declared that “secret audio recording of government officials, including law enforcement officials, performing their duties in public is protected by the First Amendment, subject only to reasonable time, place and manner restrictions.”

However, I still don’t like Glenn Beck and now that CRTV has joined The Blaze…. well, Levin, Beck and even OANN are not worth enough to have to pay to watch them. IMHO. :8->

  5. IMO, this was one of THE most important reasons to elect PDJT!!! Less Federal power!

“Judge Amul Thapar of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit is a Trump-appointed judge who recently criticized Auer, noting that it allows one of the two parties in litigation an unfair advantage, telling judges to put their thumb on the scales to defer to arguments from one of the parties in the courtroom (the government), while not deferring to the opposing party.

It now appears that the justices may overrule Auer, which might not have been possible before President Trump appointed Justice Brett Kavanaugh to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy.

Auer is considered the younger brother of Chevron deference, a doctrine under which courts defer to federal agencies’ interpretations of congressional statutes administered by each agency. Justices Neil Gorsuch and Kavanaugh are both on record criticizing Chevron as well, which likewise has tremendous implications for federal power.”

I don’t know if Chuck and Nancy are that clueless and lacking in self-awareness or are they just so inept that they are outmaneuvered by PDJT with ease? Either way, they tried so hard but just looked incredibly bad. Puffing up their chests and proudly uttering their lethal “Trump shutdown” like THAT is going to really get folks riled up.

Honestly? I was embarrassed for them. And I love how PDJT slaps these people around. They richly deserve it.

  11. I know we had this big discussion thanks to Sadie yesterday about Back to the Future. Well, I’ve been watching bad disaster movies. The current one, Meteor from 1979 found on YT, has an all-star cast of Sean Connery, karl Malden, Natalie Wood, Brian Keith, Martin Landeau, Henry Fonda, etc., and is…yeah. The big stars of the show, though, are Hercules and Peter the Great the space weapons that can launch multiple nuclear warheads.

Talk about life imitating art, or maybe vice versa.

Anyway, if we are watching a movie, according to the anon, it’s a 1970s disaster flick in slow motion. Wow.

They’re the “Last Honest Pizza”, and I think, one of the best. Just wish they’d open one up over here in Germany. OK, maybe three or four 🙂 Seriously, though, it’s top-drawer stuff.

but i did spent time reading through the list of the big donors of ca fire foundation – and learned enough that i cared to even check out their web designer and who their clients were/are – and i could be completely wrong, but i have a feeling that my gut reaction was probably mostly correct about this organization, those who sponsor them, and those who sponsor the sponsors are and are associated with. and that includes the website designers.

again, i apologize for sounding rude and mean, and i will refrain from further slandering of the effort put forth by the roundtable pizza company.

    1. And on that note, l.a. county literally just approved about 39 minutes ago, a 19,000 home development, essentially a new city, in an extreme fire zone.
They couldnt care less about responsible planning.

“Tejon Ranch Co. proposes to build 19,000 homes in its Centennial developmentlocated in the uninhabited northwest corner of Los Angeles County for a projected population of about 27,000. From 1964-2015, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection recorded 31 fires on or near the Centennial site without the additional risk of an urban interface.

There is no if, only when. When will Centennial burn? How many lives will be lost? How many homes will be lost? At what cost? Who will pay?

Is it possible for the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, which must decide whether to approve Centennial, to learn from mistakes made in Butte County.”

Remember the old commercial (from the 1970s) with the competitor pizza chain training their new cook: “Go to the freezer, get the box”….

Their prices are higher than I’d like, but since I only get a chance when we’re on vacation over there, it’s not too bad. And they have coupons. Ever since Wolfgang Puck entered the pizza fray, prices have gone up and up and up… sigh…

  15. 2 days to go apparently until we get to the next date on the list… then we have about a week until the election report comes out. then 13 days after that the new congress is sworn in.

i think we should have our answer by then right? whether all this is a ruse or whether there is even a tiny bit of hope that something will be accomplished?

all this wasted breath every day on insignificant “happenings” and all these distractions.

i have come to make a few comments lately about what i call the whores in the press that even the conservatives follow… if you are still following the news, if you still think politics is “important” and you still worry about anything “trivial” then you might as well give it up. what we are talking about here is huge and the distractions are getting to the point of being absolutely ignored by some of us.

pelosi and schumer meeting with the president? who gives a FU&K! guys, if ANY justice is going to happen that meeting today will have just been a waste of time because those people will be going to jail.

personally i am ready to accept if nothing is going to happen and i will have to figure out what i want to do with my life going forward here. not sure what i will do but it’s going to be difficult to just ignore everything and go back to “normal life” when we’ve been so close to exposing something i’ve thought about almost all my life.

maybe i don’t know how to present what i am thinking properly, or maybe it’s just that i don’t seem to feel the massive anxiousness i feel being felt by others. or maybe people just feel better continuing to follow people on twitter and read a thread about this and that. there is absolutely no about of reading from twitter that is going to tell you anything that if you don’t know it know you wouldn’t know. there is no amount of tucker carlson, there is no amount of this fbi whistleblower crap, there is no amount of this dog and pony show that is every going to expose itself.

we are about to enter a period of time that is like nothing the world has ever seen and either it is going to be a fireworks show or it’s about to be a pin drop…

    1. You know, I am trying to let go of the date thing/timeline thing for the sake of sanity. I find that if I hang my expectations on something, like Dec. 5, I am always disappointed and upset. Always. Every single time. Nothing has ever happened on a date promised or suggested or anticipated by some event happening at that time, like so and so’s testimony, etc.

I am taking deep breaths, and letting go of that idea of “when” for my own sanity and well being. I don’t know when. If Q knows when, let’s face it he isn’t going to tell us because that would be pretty poor strategy.

And I’m still anxious as heck.

“Hey, Andrew, we all have bad days. I wish you could turn to the Lord, just remember not to lean on your own understanding.”

your words are heard and taken to heart i can assure you. it is the same council i have received from some of the wisest people i know – and it is a constant battle we all know is real and we must be vigilant and prepared to finish the battle…

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

      Proverbs 3:5-8

      1. Seems like a whole lot of people right now are going through what I’m calling, “turbulence.” It is unsettling and makes one doubt the future but soon it will be in the past. Stay strong. Encourage yourself in the Lord.

Remember that time when David and his men can back to their homes to discover everyone had been taken prisoner by the enemy. David’s men were ready to kill him out of the deep discouragement they were in. But David encouraged himeself in the Lord, turned things around and they managed to rally and get their families back.
